There was a twinkle in her eyes as she looked at me. The depths of her eyes bore into my soul. The sharp features of her face glowed in the dark, the moon itself claiming her as its child. The world stopped moving; every thought, every breath halted from being the object of her focus.
Kirari stood strong, untethered, as if gravity has made her its exception. She smiled, the slight shift of her lips propelled time forward. The world has started spinning once again.
A hand akin to porcelain raised, waiting, expecting. The small gesture proposed a question. "Sayaka," she uttered, words laced with an unmatched grace. "As a stranger, will you serve me?"
The question was answered by a devoted kiss. Trembling lips pressed against a steady hand. "Yes," I breathed out. Her smile stretched, threatening to break her face tinged in gold. The night ended, inviting an unwelcome morning alone.
