The bright moonlight filtered into the dark room that harbored you and Naib; the soft light glowing on Naibs skin as he was shirtless in front of you. The room wasn’t cold but when you traced his scars and tender muscles, goosebumps began to grow in every place you touched. With every stroke, he inhaled sharply and you could see him holding his breath. You brought your hands up to his slender face, making him look at you. You both shared intense gazes, you made him look into your eyes so you could tell him without any words for him to trust you. For him to open up with you.
As if he could read your mind, he turned into your palm and left a feather light kiss as he slowly yet surely brought your hands back to his sides. There was now a bit more warmth to his skin than before, a long sigh escaped from his lips.
“You can touch me.”
You looked at Naib with surprise in your face till you gave him a reassuring smile. His voice was deep and gentle yet firm, giving you full permission to explore him. You made sure as you roamed his chest, arms, and back, that you’d treat him with ultimate care. He wasn’t used to praise or loving touches, he was tough and hard, the outside making him seem untouchable. Yet under all that, Naib relished in your mind numbing touches, his vulnerability showing with every breath he takes and how his fingernails dig a little deeper into you as you hit some sensitive spaces. You watch him attentively, utter care and adoration filling you all the same. You were honored he let you see, touch, and understand him like this. It made every touch of yours all the more special.
Few scars lay permanently on his skin, telling him and anyone who dares to see what he’s been through. Naib hates to see them. You lay your fingers on them, they were healed and layered with healthy skin but Naib still breathed heavily, turning his head to the side. You dipped down to his side stomach coming close to the scar you were just touching only seconds ago. Naib turned back confused, eyebrows knitted and wondering what exactly you were doing. Before he can even take a breath, your lips warmly kissed his scar. From the beginning, the middle, and the end. Each one that was shown on him, you kissed with gentle pecks and smooth motions. Naibs heart began to beat a little more rapidly, the feeling going to his abdomen, his tingling fingertips, and flushed cheeks. He stood there frozen in the moonlight, trembling slightly as he felt waves crash within him.
You took his hands in yours as stood up again, pulling him closer to you. You knew Naib wasn’t used to this, who could blame him. But something in you compelled yourself to show him that he is still worthy of love and gratitude. To show him thanks for being the shining hope during these matches you were in. You couldn’t do much but what you could do was show your love in any way you can.
“Breathe.” You whispered out to him. He did so and you brought your face close to his, inching close to his own lips. Your noses touched and you could see Naibs eyes move around in anticipation. It made you feel soft. With graceful fluidity, you let yourself kiss Naib with every ounce of kindness you gave to his body. He kissed back with an unspoken gentleness you’ve never felt before. He was delicate and fragile under everything. You treated him like a bloomed flower. When you both parted to get air, Naib seemed more calm and content.
“Thank you for everything.”
