Birthdays are particular for Steven. He is not the kind of person who lingers about this event that happens only one time per year, but he appreciates it, because he can get presents and love from his husband, Wallace.
Steven's favorite kind of birthday presents are - no surprise - : rocks. He strongly loves to fill up his collection, particulary when Wallace get rocks and stones for him.
But the Gym Leader of Sootopolis city wanted to change. He wanted to make a present that he could share with himself. So he thought about that a lot. What about taking him to the restaurant? No, that would be classic. Or, what about taking him to a massage? No, Steven had a massage yesterday.
So, the answer was simple : a meadow walk and flower-viewing! Steven also loves flowers, so that would be super duper.

Steven was sleeping and snuggled up in his bed. Wallace comes slowly in the room, and starts to sing him a soft song to make him woke up.
"Wallace... Thank you! I was asleep, I'm sorry. Thank you so much." Steven says.
- Dear Steven! I have a surprise for you! You can take your time to wake up. We will take the breakfast together. Then, you can dress up for the day!
- Oh so, you will take me to somewhere?
- Shhh, it's a surprise!
Steven wakes up slowly and gets out of the bed. Then he sits at the living room table while Wallace was still here. A breakfast prepared on the table.
Meanwhile the Champion eats, Wallace asks him something :
"Steven, do you have an idea where we will go?"
- Hmm... Not really.
And, the two finish their breakfasts.
After that, Steven dresses up to a casual outftit. Wallace is already dressed up.
"Steven ! Are you ready to go?"
- Yes, I am !
Then, the two sit on the car, Wallace at the driving position. The car is moving... And then it stops in front of a... wonderful place, Steven guesses?
"Et voilà, we are here!" Wallace says, full of beans.
- This is wonderful! A meadow with flowers! Thank you so much Wallace ! I would like to tell it is... utterly glorious!
- Shhh Steven, do not take my catchphrase! he laughs. I'm just joking, you're welcome chéri.
The two lovers are slowly walking into the meadow, and it is beautiful... The sun makes their skins warm, the flowers give off a wonderful smell, and most importantly , Wallace's love is here. Near Steven
"Steven, would to like to lay on the floor with me?"
- Yes, of course.
And, the two lay on the floor. Wallace gently hugs steven, and they give each other a kiss.
"Happy birthday Steven. I love you."
