Chapter Text
As the sunlight became visible through his eyelids Mineta inhaled slowly and fallowed it with a sigh.
"Let's get this over with." He said as he got out of bed for what might be the last time.
He went through his usual morning routine. Brushing his teeth, getting dressed, and putting on his shoes as he got ready for the day. However as he went to go out the door he did something different. He grabbed a ziplock bag full of pills. These were pills he had been working to acquire for a long time. He had been sneaking antidepressants from bakugou for months now. Only a couple at a time because he didn't want to get caught or have bakugou have to go without his meds. All in all he had gotten about 90 pills. Far more than enough.
Today was the day he was going to finally kill himself. He had decided that he would do this a long time ago. After all this time he was finally going to do it.
As he left his to he was glad to find that nobody was in the halls. Matter of fact he didn't see anybody on the way to the kitchen either. When he got there it was as if nobody had been there all day. He breathed a sigh of relief as he saw this. Not that he didn't like his classmates but he knew that they might try to stop him and his plan. He went to the fridge and went through the motions of making breakfast.
He went about the process until he sat down at the table with a plate of scrambled eggs and toast, a bill of rice, and a big cup of grape juice.
"And of course the secret ingredient" he said as he dumped a number of pills into the juice. Not all of them but just enough to kill him by the end of the day. He figured that with everything he had done he deserved to suffer. He was planning on saving the rest of the pills in case it didn't work. However as he was about to drink the whole cup he saw someone come into the room. He immediately felt a bit happier as he saw the bright yellow hair of his best friend.
"Mornin buddy" Denki said enthusiastically to his friend.
"Morning Denki"
As Denki took a seat he looked at Mineta with a massive smile that could rival all might's.
"I took you advice" Denki proclaimed happily
"Really, how'd that work out?"
"I asked Mina like you said and she said yes."
The two talk for a bit. Albiet mostly about what the plan is for Denki's date with Mina. Mineta had finished his food but had yet to touch his juice yet. And as he was about to Denki said something that stopped him in his tracks.
"Thanks man, I don't know what I'd do without you."
After saying that Denki walked away as mineta just sat there. He thought for a minute and then a minute turned into half an hour. People were in the kitchen now as he sat there last in thought.it was at that moment that he decided that he didn't need to die.
He went into the kitchen and walked past jiro and yaomomo going toward the sink to dump out the juice when he heard something. He didn't even remember what he heard. All he knows is that he made a perverted comment and a second later had an earphone jack lodged in his back and was twitching on the floor.
The girls walked away jiro looking disgusted but not nearly as much as mineta. As he got to his feet it was as if he had never talked to Denki in the first place.
"Need some help" said midoria as he offered a hand to mineta.
"Thanks"
As mineta thanked midoria he saw the glass on the counter and grabbed it. He looked at it and downed the whole glass in one go.
'Why did you have to do that' he thought to himself. 'Why do I have to be like this, why does this stupid quirk make me act like this around people, why am I suck a damn pervert? The world is better off without me in it. I'll be doing everyone a favor by not being here.
It was all as he planned. By the end of the day he will have finally done something good with his life. He however still had a couple things left to do but for now he was drowning in self loathing. However he was not all mad. He was glad to say. That this is his last day alive.
