They had an assignment for the hero course today. They had to do a normal patrol in groups of two. He was paired up with racoons eyes and they left the school to go to their assigned patrol location.
As they walked down the street on their hero outfits it was clear that only an idiot would try to do anything right now.
Turns out idiots are quite common.
A group of thugs decided that they were stronger than them and thought it would be cool to pick a fight with them. Turns out most of them were not tough enough to handle mina but there were two that were giving them a little trouble. One was a girl dressed in all pink with fake devil horns on and the other was a guy with some kind of strength quirk.
"There is to much hate in your heart" said the girl in pink. "I think you need some love to balance it out."
As she said this she seemingly charges an attack aiming towards mina but bakugo hits her in the head to stop her. It wasn't at a loss though because it hit him instead.
Bakugou checked for injuries but here were no e so after seeing that the girl is knocked out he goes to finish off the other guy.
With them working together it is resolved quickly and the cops show up after it's resolved. At least that is until the guy gets up and throws mina into the air.
"Damnit" Bakugou says as he blasts himself into the air to save her.
Bakugou catches her is midair and takes the impact when they slam through a window.
"Fuck" he groans as he feels that he is covered in cuts from the window and the fall hurt a lot to. Suddenly though the pain didn't seem to bother him as much as what was happening at the moment. He didn't believe it but racoons eyes was trying to snuggle into him.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE OU DOING" he yelled at the pink girl while throwing her off of him.
"I just love you so much katsuki." She answers with a bright smile. "I just want to show you."
Bakugou looks at her like she had grown a second head. He backs away a bit but mina Runs up and hugs him.
Bakugou holds back his reactions and pushes her off of him.
The two return to ua where a couple of test are run on them. Bakugou is sitting in a chair with Mina clinging onto his shoulder nuzzling his arm. He was glad when recovery girl walked in but concerned that she was in a hazmat suit.
"I have good news and bad news for you bakugou" she said. "Let's start with the good news. She is not injured"
"What is wrong with her" Bakugou interrupts.
"That is the bad news. We have found out that the girl you were fighting had a quirk called Cupid." As she was saying this mina hugged Bakugou's arm even closer but still somehow softly. "It appears that we don't have any data on her quirk other than name. She said she will only give details to you."
As she finished talking bakugou stands up.
"Then let's go, I can't live like this." He gestures to the pink girl affectionately clinging to his arm.
"Don't be so mean Katsu" mina said in an adorable tone. "Do we have to go talk to her? Can't we just go back to your room and cuddle?
As she says that he feels a blush covering his face. He shakes her of of him and walks out of the room.
Mina sinks to the ground and looks sad.
"It always hurt when he left but now it's so much worse." She said with pain In her voice.
Bakugou had arrived at the police station and was being led to her cell. As he got was brought to the room the officer stopped him to tell him something.
"Okay look kid, she says shell only talk with you alone so you'll have nobody to help you if something happens."
Hearing him say this made him even more pissed than he already was.
"I don't need help" he hissed at the cop while opening the door.
As he walked through the door he looked around. The room was pure white with nothing but a light above them and a table in the middle with two chairs. In one of the hairs was the girl from earlier. He walked up and sat in the chair across from her. As he sat down she looked at him with a smug grin.
"How's it goin lover boy" she asked. "I knew you'd be here soon."
"You need to fix this." He replied.
"Fix what?"
"What you did to racoons eyes."
"What do you mean? I missed my shot. Didn't it hit you?"
"Yeah but shes the once acting crazy."
As he said that she appeared shocked and then worried. All she could manage was to groan into her hands.
"This wasn't supposed to happen."
"What was supposed to happen?"
"You got hit with my quirk so you should have fallen in love with me."
"Wait, what."
"Based on what you said happened you hitting me in the head made my quirks effect change. Now any girl that you touch will fall in love with you."
