Chapter Text
Fighting with his mom was an everyday struggle he had to cope with since he was born. The causes of the fights weren't always provoked, weren't sometimes optional and there were times they weren't even related to him in any sort of way, but they were inevitable and consistent.
And Bakugou had enough.
Now. At his 23 years old he's not an idiot. He's not just gonna jump his motorcycle and run away at 10 pm without a fucking plan. No. This was something he planned since he was 16 years old and his mom started to become less scary and more just a woman he didn't needed to listen to anymore.
He took a bag he had prepared with escencial clothes and started to save some personal stuff he couldn't leave behind (just in case his mom didn't let him get his shit back out of spite). While doing the bag he could hear the screams coming through the walls, the overbearing complaints, the usual insults, a slam of her bedroom door and then nothing.
That was his chance.
He opened his window, escaped his house, turned on his motorcycle and just left.
He had the plan mapped clearly in his head. He had enough money saved to rent a cheap hotel room for at least a week while he got in touch with a man he saved while being on patrol who happend to have a small apartment he was interested in renting. If he could get the apartment it wouldn't matter when or how but he would finally be free from his mother. No harm done, just a taste of independence.
The first part of the plan? Easy cake. Done it.
The second part tho... The second part involved someone else.
Getting shitty hair in a motorcycle for... Ugh emotional support was tough. But here he was, in his front porch with a bag filled with some of his belongins, holding his breath. The weight in his chest was heavy, the way his hands were shaking was alarming, is obvious he was not fine. Denying it would not help. Doing something about it helps.
He knocked the door a couple of times and Kirishima is already opening the door.
"Katsuki! What are you doing here?" Kirishima has always been so easy to read. He wears his emotions in his face so when he sees Bakugou it takes him just a second to notice exatly what happend. "Why?"
Bakugou just shruggs his shoulders. What can he say? He ran away from his house because his mom was being annoying? That would be the truth but is not as simple as it sounds.
"I just... Needed to leave, is fine"
"You know you can live here if you want to or if you have a plan then just tell me..."
Bakugou just couldn't handle it, he hugged his friend midsentence because why does Kirishima look sadder than usual? Why does he looks more in distressed than himself?
Kirishima hugged him back and his arms wrapped him perfectly. Bakugo never felt like he belong anywhere in particular, not at his house, never with his last group of "childhood friends". Now at Kirishima's arms he felt as if he had somewhere to go. "That means you're staying?"
"No. I have a plan" Bakugou started to pull Kirishima by his arm, leading him to the motorcycle. "I'm here to take you with me"
"W-wait the gang is waiting for me. Just let me explain to them where I'm going"
"No, you'll have to explain everything to them and I don't want you to drag them into this" Bakugo really didn't want to involve any more people. He couldn't trust his best friends accions at the moment, they weren't even in the plan...
His mom definetly knew where to look for him, he knew his boyfriend's house was gonna be the first place he will try to hide. Although he gave her Eijirou's old phone number as bait his mother had other ways to track him. Fucking Midoriya and his fucking loud mouth could be a problem. He knows Izuku could lead her here, there was no escape unless he found a place where he could go away. "I can't tell them where we're going, Eijirou. Not now"
"... Alright, but they'd be worried. Just give 5 minutes to tell them a lie. I'd just say we're gonna go off for the night, okay? At least just let me tell Mina, she's not a snitch" Kirishima's eyes were clear, Bakugou could trust him... He knew it deep inside against all logic.
"Fine!... I'll wait here. But do it quick, we don't have much time" Bakugou got on his motorcycle and waited his boyfriend.
It took Kirishima around 5 minutes to do everything before he ran out his house with a backpack on his shoulder and a grin on his stupid, perfect face. "Mina didn't even asked me where we were going to be, she said she has your back tho. Won't give any information to anyone" Kirishima took his helmet out of his backpack and when he got on the bike he hold himself tight on Bakugou's waist. Bakugou felt warm and safe from the embrace, taking Eijirou with him was all worth it.
