If you're like most people, than you probably know the famous chef All Might, famous for his spicy dishes who pack quite the punch. As a top graduate at U.A. Culinary College, he started out with a bang. Now, he's one of the most well known chefs in Japan. Four years ago he returned to Musutafu and left with another student at U.A. in tow. All Might announced his impending retirement after returning to Musutafu this past week. During his press conference, he announced his plans to pass his legacy onto his apprentice. Though nobody knew All Might had such plans, especially since no one knew he even had an apprentice, this information has taken the media by storm.
You may be asking who could possibly be good enough to impress the All Might. The answer is someone you would never expect. While kept a secret from most media sources, All Mights successor has been traveling the world with the famous chef, learning all kinds of techniques and abilities. Top of his class at U.A. the very same school All Might attended when he was young, his apprentice is certainly worthy, but is he ready?

So all the news outlets and the media are all going on about All Mights successor, but nobody has actually seen the guy, and all the pictures are super sucky. I've compiled them all here in hopes that we, as a fandom, can uncover who the kid is.

Mina doesn't usually stay up so late, but this is for a good cause, so she can put her beauty sleep on hold for once. After all, Bakugou had done the same for her many times. So she stays up until midnight watching cat videos on her laptop that night. Kirishima and Kaminari join her, but Sero claims he want's nothing to do with their plan and goes to bed. When midnight finally rolls around, all three of them get up and drag their sleep deprived bodies down to the store where Bakugou is working.
They walk in just in time to find Bakugou ringing up the very same boy with fluffy green hair and bright green eyes that had been coming in every night for the past week. The real surprise? The fact that they came face to face with a Bakugou who was actually being polite and not cursing every other word. Sure, they could just say he was trying the whole customer service thing, but Mina had seen the way he treated other customers. She knew that though he tried to keep from cursing at customers, he was still just as rude as always. This kid was special.
"Hi!" Mina chirped, bouncing over to the special kid who had somehow managed to get Bakugou to be polite. "Who are you? What are you doing here? Do you come here often? Why are you here so late? Can I take your picture?"
Though thoroughly startled, the green haired boy turned to Mina and when faced with the boy Mina could see exactly why Baku had such a crush on him. His hair was messy, sure, but it was artfully messy. He as practically covered in freckles, and Mina could just see Bakugou trying to hide a blush. Don't even get her started on his eyes. Nobody could ever say no to him when he had those giant puppy dog eyes.
"I'm uh, Izuku, I'm here to get ice cream," He counted the questions on his fingers as he answered, and Mina didn't miss the way his eyes shot to Bakugou when he answered the second question. "I come pretty much every night, I'm up late because I have a lot of work to do and I like to eat ice cream while I work, and uh, please no pictures." He covered his face with his hands.
"Right, of course, sorry. That was kind of a rude thing to ask." Mina apologized while giving Bakugou a meaningful look. The guy, Izuku, watched her through his fingers, and when he was finally satisfied that she wouldn't take his picture, he took his hands away.
"It was, uh, nice meeting you, I guess." He grabbed the pint of ice cream from the counter and ran to the door, Bakugous eyes not leaving him once as he did so. "Gotta go, bye." Mina watched as he raced out the door and away from them. Her eyes caught on the unusual pair of red high tops he was wearing. Hadn't she seen those shoes somewhere before?
"You're so whipped." She said before following Izuku in running out of the store, only this time it was to avoid Bakugous rage.

(A soft blue painted building with large windows on either side of the glass doors is surrounded by paparazzi, media, reporters, and news stations. In large kanji on the doors it reads "hope cafe". All Might can be seen through the windows, along with someone much younger wearing red shoes and messy hair. After a moment All Might steps out and addresses the crowd.)
All Might: I must apologize to those who came in hope of meeting my successor. He's a shy boy and prefers to stay out of the spotlight. He said, and these are his exact words, I just want to make food that makes people happy, I have no desire to be famous like you. All I want to do is make people smile. He is still a child, but a smart one, no?
(All Might and the crowd laugh, and a shadow behind the door moves slightly closer.)
All Might: Anyway! The show must go on! Welcome, one and all, to the opening of Hope Cafe. We've prepared a sampling of some of the main dishes, and you are all welcome inside to taste them.
(The crowd cheers and the shadows behind the door disappears. All Might accepts a pair of giant scissors and cuts the red ribbon around the door. More cheers erupt from the crowds, and people begin talking loudly. The camera moves to enter the building, though it's empty except for plates of samples and napkins. Near the kitchen entrance is a yellow duffel bag covered in stickers.)

So twitter user @AlienQu33n has been going on about Midoriyas red shoes. (If you don't know who Midoriya is see my previous post here which explains more) After she brought my attention to it, I realized that bright red shoes like that aren't actually that popular, and fairly easy to spot in a crowd. Why nobody thought to search him out using his shoes before now is beyond me, but here we go. While Midoriya seems to be especially adept at avoiding having his picture taken, there is one Instagram account I've found where red sneakers just like those Midoriya wears can be found in the background of a lot of photos. Most of the posts are of food, though in a few the accounts owner is actually in the photo. And what does he look like? Messy green hair and red shoes. Sound familiar? While his full name isn't listed, his name is definitely Midoriya, and a common nickname is Deku. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
