Hiroshi Satou has everything Saiki Kusou wanted, a plain school day where nothing remotely interesting happens, simple friends who don't necessarily talk about big topics, and just a overall regular life is what Saiki admires so much about Satou and how he is the perfect normal boy in the world, well as far as he knows. If Saiki were to check the whole world to find the perfect normal person it wouldn't really matter since Satou attends in the same high school as him so he couldn't have it any other way, better to admire someone near than someone across the country. As much as Saiki enjoys watching Satou from a distance he'd prefer to talk to him one on one but since Satou rejected Saiki's attempt on becoming friends with him since Satou thinks Saiki is a bit odd, to be fair Saiki can now see that it was an odd display to be reading that week's jump while drinking peach juice and litening to Satou's favourite band all in one setting, the entrence gate to be exact. So he couldn't just start up a converstaion without it being akward or embarrassing. Saiki didn't give up though, he does small things to get close to Satou such as delivering papers to his classroom, running into him at the nearest convence store, walking near him in the hallways or in the entry gate, etc. Small jesters like these force Satou to aknowlage Saiki's existence but Saiki makes sure to balance out the times he runs into Satou to the moments he just appears in an area Satou is present in, this is because if Saiki keeps running into Satou more than he should be Satou would start thinking Saiki is staking him which Saki technically is but he wouldn't really call it that. Like is it really a crime to follow a being you worship as a master in order to get close to them? Saiki doesn't think so; It's admiration after all and Saiki just wants to have a friend that is the definition of normal. He'd raither hangout with Satou anyday instead of a teen who has 5th grade syndrome, a punk who tries to be normal, a perverted ghost whisper or even a dumbass who's train of thought is the same to a cockroache's, yup Saiki doesn't have to hesitate who to choose since Satou is obviously the perfect choice which is why he has to befriend him. Whatever it takes, Saiki Kusuo will be Hiroshi Satou's friend! Within that last thought the dissmisle bell rang and it was time for Saiki's befriending Satou plan to go to action.
