"I'm not gay! I've never even thought about guys like that before and-- would you stop looking at me like that? I can't focus with you looking at me like- like that." Jungkook defended himself, well rather, attempted to defend himself uselessly.
Jimin chuckled, batting his lashes once, twice, before stepping one step closer to the taller boy opposite to him. "That's what they all say, in the beginning. But you wouldn't even be here with me, alone, if you weren't in the slightest bit curious, Jungkook-ah."
Jungkook backtracked himself a little bit, stepping back to distance us again, yet I only stepped closer. "That's absolutely beside the point Jimin-SSI."
"Is it?" Jungkook hadn't even noticed that despite me being the shorter one in this scenario, that he was only two steps away from being pressed between me and the wall.
I wasn't sure where all of this bravery came from, usually, Jungkook was the one intimidating me without even realising it.
Everyone in town knew him, despite his age, towering over others, intimidating everyone, picking fights with those who didn't want trouble in the first place. He was the bad boy, always in trouble, the last boy your parents wanted you to bring home for dinner. Yet I was seemingly the only person on earth to know his real side, the side that wasn't covered in walls that were unbroken and unwavering. Along with him, he seemed to bring out another side of me as well.
Everyone knew me as the quiet boy, maybe a little feminine but not so much that would be able to get me in trouble. Never picking fights, staying quiet, easily flustered.
Yet Jungkook was the only one to bring out my louder, sassy side, never liking being told what to do.
No one in town even knew that we spent time together either. We were polar opposites if anything people only seemed to see the glares he'd used to send my way in the school halls. It was our little secret.
