Work Text:
"Man, I'm exhausted! I'm just going to turn in for the night. I'd really hate for someone to look through my backpack," Eijiro exclaimed as he entered the house and walked past the couch where his little sister was pretending to sleep.
With hearing that Miki, Eijiro's little sister, sat up and was on the move to snoop through her older brother's stuff.
"Boo!" Eijiro exclaimed as he popped out from behind the corner.
"Ahhh," Miki exclaimed, startled from her brother.
"Caught you in the act," he laughed as he sat beside her on the couch. Their parents had went to a convention for work, and were expected to be returning at any time.
"We're home!" Mrs. Kirishima exclaimed as they entered the house.
"How was the convention?" Eijiro asked his parents.
"Oh you know, it was a convention," his father responded.
"What are you guys doing up so late," Mrs. Kirishima asked her kids.
"We were waiting on you to get back," Miki responded.
"Well, how about you get ready for bed?" her mother told her.
"Okay mom," Miki responded as she and her mother went upstairs.
"Can I ask a favor of you?" Mr. Kirishima asked his son.
"Sure dad. What is it?" Eijiro responded.
"Well, I met an executive of our partner company from the other side of the country, and he has a daughter your age. Her name is Camie Utsushimi. The Utsushimi's are leaving this Sunday, and I told him you'd take her out on Saturday night," Mr. Kirishima said.
"Oh dad, I'd love to, but I've already got plans for Saturday. Kaminari and I were taking Mina and Jiro on a double date. It wouldn't be very manly for me to cancel this date," Eijiro told his father.
"I'm not asking that you cancel your date, but just to reschedule it."
"I'll think about it, I guess."

The next day at school, Kirishima met up with his friends, Sero, Kaminari and Bakugo.
"Hey Kirishima, you excited for our double date Saturday night?" Kaminari asked.
"Well I was, until my dad decided to set me up with the daughter of someone he met at the convention," Kirishima responded.
"So, you can ditch her right? We've had this planned for ages," Kaminari said.
"Not exactly, she's from the other side of the country, and her family is going back on Sunday."
"You know, you might not have have to cancel either date right?" Bakugo chimed in.
"Why's that?" Kirishima asked him.
"Well, you said you've never met her and she's not from here, so why don't you just have someone else pretend to be you and take her out?"
"Honestly, that's a good idea. Thanks Bakugo. But there is one problem: who is going to pretend to be me and take Utsushimi out?"
"Don't look at me!" Bakugo exclaimed. "I've already got plans for Saturday."
The group then proceeded to move their glances from Bakugo to Sero. Sero responded by saying "Fine, what's in it for me?"
"Kaminari and I will each give you 10 yen," Kirishima told him. Kaminari looked slightly offended by Kirishima saying that, but agreed.
"Okay, so I'll take her out on a date on Saturday, and I'll pretend to Kirishima," Sero told the group.
_______________
Saturday night rolled around, and as the boys planned, Sero pretended to be Kirishima, went to the hotel the Utsushimi's were staying at and picked up Camie for the date that evening. Also, like they had planned, Kirishima told his parents he was going out with Camie and instead took Mina out on their double date with Kaminari and Jiro. The four students settled on a restaurant that was popular in that area of the city. Little to their knowledge, Sero had decided to take Camie to that same restaurant.
While they were waiting on their food, Kirishima made up an excuse to leave the table and go talk to Sero. Once he got to the table, he pulled Sero to the side and asked him, "Sero, what are you doing here?"
"Well, you told me to take her somewhere good, so I took her here. It's like the best restaurant on this side of the city," Sero responded.
"Okay, but how are you going to explain to her that people keep calling you Sero?" Kirishima asked.
"Relax, I just told her it was a nickname," Sero reassured him.
"Alright whatever, man. Enjoy your date," Kirishima told him as he went back to his double date.

Kirishima's parents were furious that evening.
"What do you mean 'my son ripped your daughter's dress?" Kirishima's father said as he was on the phone with Camie Utsushimi's upset father. "Well Mr. Utsushimi, I just don't think my son would do a thing like that, but I'll talk to him when he gets home," Kirishima's father said as hung up the phone.
"Hey guys I'm home," Kirishima announced as he happily bounced into the house. "Why is everyone so upset?"
"Their upset because Camie's dad wants them to apologize and pay for Camie's dress that you ripped while you were on your date," Miki said.
"But I didn't rip Camie's dress," Kirishima said.
"Don't lie to us, her father just said you did," Kirishima mother added.
"Lying wouldn't be very manly of me, nor would be ripping someone's clothes. I swear I didn't rip Camie's dress."
"We'll talk about this tomorrow but for now you should go to bed," his father told Kirishima as he went to his room.
______________
The next morning would be quite eventful, as Kirishima invited Sero, Bakugo and Kaminari over to explain go his parents and Camie's about what happened the previous night.
As the Kirishima family was eating breakfast, there was a knock on the door.
"It's probably the Utsushimi's," Kirishima's dad said.
"I'll get it," Miki said as she went to the door. Everyone was shocked to see that it was Sero who was at the door when Miki opened it.
"Nice to see you, Sero," Kirishima's mom said.
"Sero, why are you here? We've got some family business to take care of this morning," Kirishima's dad told Sero.
"Well you see Sero is here because," Kirishima was interrupted by another knock at the door.
"It's probably the Utsushimi's this time, so I'll get it," Kirishima's dad said as he went to answer the door. It was not the Utsushimi's but instead Bakugo and Kaminari. "Eijiro, this isn't the the whole city's business, but rather some of the family, so why on earth are your friends here?" He asked his son.
"Well you see dad," Kirishima's was cut off once again.
"Mr. Kirishima, this is our business because it was not your son who ripped Camie's dress, but Sero who did it."
"Well how did that happen then since Camie was on a date with my son?"
"Your son wasn't on the date with Camie, Sero was and Sero pretended to be your son," Bakugo told him.
"Is this true?" Kirishima's dad asked.
"Yes it's true. But it was Bakugo's idea," Kirishima told his dad.
Mr. Kirishima started as Bakugo and Bakugo just responded with, "Tch."
"Well, how are we going to explain this to the Utsushimi's?"
"Oh we won't," Bakugo said. "Instead we'll have Sero still pretend to be your son and apologize and then we'll be done and never see them again."
"Well I guess that sounds like a doable plan," Kirishima's dad said.
Shortly after this conversation the Utsushimi's arrived.
"I'm sorry for ripping your dress, Camie." Sero told Camie.
"It's okay. I had a really fun night except for the dress ripping," she replied.
"Now what are you going to do about paying for it? We have a train to catch in 45 minutes," Mr. Utsushimi said.
"We'll mail you the money or send it through PayPal or something. You need to get going so you can catch your train and," Mr. Kirishima was interrupted by Miki.
"Eijiro, can you move your weights? I want to get my bike out of the garage." Miki asked.
"Who is that?" Mr. Utsushimi asked.
"Oh she's just a neighbor," Mr. Kirishima answered.
"No I'm not. I'm your daughter," Miki piped up.
"Okay, well can't you see that your brother Eijiro is busy."
"No he's not, he's sitting right there," Miki said as she pointed to her brother who was sitting on the couch, and not apologizing to the Utsushimi's.
"That's Eijiro?" Mr. Utsushimi and Camie exclaimed in unison.
"Yes that's actually my son Eijiro, but we can explain," Mr. Kirishima told them.
"Okay so explain it quickly because we've got a train to catch," Mr. Utsushimi told them.
"My son had other plans and he didn't want to be rude so he sent a friend in his place," Mr. Kirishima said.
"Well since were all coming clean there's something I must tell you about me: I'm not really the head executive, I'm just a regular employee. I just like going to conventions and went because the company had an opening," Mr. Utsushimi said as he and Camie walked out to the car.
"Well in that case, we sat your daughter up with someone else on purpose," Mr. Kirishima exclaimed as they drove off.
"Dad, that wasn't very manly of you," Kirishima told his dad.
"I suppose it wasn't, but did you boys learn anything from this experience?" Mr. Kirishima asked the boys.
"Nope!" Kaminari exlcaimed. And with that, everything was back to normal.
