"Ha, ha, I never lose, Hoseok hyung. You'll see, my
little humans will succeed more than yours and you
are gonna cry at the end of this damn bet. "
"You wish Jungkookie." Hoseok says as he sticks out
his tongue.
Jungkook and Hoseok are bickering with each other as usual after eating their meals and coming back to their work place.
It is impossible to understand the "real" relationship between them. Others can't figure out if they hate or love each other.
They are always together at lunch break, laughing loudly at their jokes at the cafeteria. Jungkook always makes Hoseok laugh; Hoseok always looks at him like he is in love, coos at him. Sometimes he pats Jungkook's fluffy brown hair, Jungkook giggles like a little child when Hoseok does that. Basically, they behave like lovers, as if they are two halves of an apple.
But when it comes to doing their work, controlling little humans that God created and assigned to them, they always behave like they are in a competition.
Other employees are just quietly watching them, rolling their eyes, sometimes laughing at their childness, wishing someday they figure out they are actually in love.
"Is it normal that I want to hit my head against the
walls? Why don't they realize that they love each
other, hyung? Sometimes I want to throw my fork at
them. "
Yoongi whines and tries to cover his ears with his hands to stop hearing Hoseok's and Jungkook's giggles. He is so tired of them.
"This is not hygienic at all, Yoongi. They will realize by
themselves, I am sure. I mean, we can still have
hope... It is not our business."
Seokjin says as he coos at Yoongi's cuteness while he's whining; but for sure, he can't say that to Yoongi. Because Yoongi will insist that he is not cute, he is the baddest boy.
They hear Namjoon's groaning voice, followed by his cursing as he hits the table..
"Namjoon-ah, are you okay?"
"Yes, hyung. I just hit my leg. They need to change
these ugly iron tables, we need wooden ones."
"Are you dumb? Nothing will change. The pain will be
the same."
Yoongi rolls his eyes and continues to eat his meatballs, while watching Hoseok and Jungkook who sit in front of him at the table. Seokjin thinks he really looks like cat. The cutest cat. No, no, the baddest cat.
Namjoon looks at Yoongi with a shocked expression, like he heard the biggest curse in his life.
"But they are organic!"
Seokjin knows he needs to change the subject or else they will fight. Not a physical fight, but with words.
"Namjoon-ah, how are your little humans? You said
they were too clumsy and they didn't listen to you.
Are they still like that?"
"They are giving me hell, hyung. I generally find them
at the hospital, they always get into accidents. Even
in their homes, while doing nothing, they fall on the
ground and cry a lot. I mean, A LOT. Please help me,
hyung, I don't know what should I do."
Namjoon blurts out his answer with despair.
"Sounds like you to me." Yoongi replies and then he
receives a light punch to his shoulder from Seokjin.
"Hyung, how about landing on earth today? We can
go to the restaurant we like, I'm so bored. I want to
do something different. Let's ride a bicycle, sit on the
grass. Oh, we can have a picnic!!! Maybe we can
even meet with our little humans."
Jungkook knows how to persuade Hoseok easily and get what he wants every time. He brings his chair closer to Hoseok's and looks directly at his eyes, with his big deep brown doe eyes as he pouts.
Although Hoseok knows that Jungkook doesn't need to do this, he will accept what Jungkook wants every time. He is so whipped.
"Okay, we can land on earth but there's no way to
meet our little humans. It's against the rules, you
know that too."
"But, hyung." Jungkook pouts more and tries to do aegyo. Hoseok's weak heart can't handle this. He tries so hard to not to kiss him.
"No objection, otherwise I won't go to earth. "
Jungkook sighs sadly and crosses his arms.
"Humph!"
Hoseok thinks Jungkook is really like a child, and he can't resist his cuteness and puffed cheeks anymore so he leaves a peck on the his left cheek.
"Come on, it's time to get back to work. But first,
finish your carrots, there is still a lot that you left on
your plate."
Hoseok goes to the buffet station to give his tray back to the staff, he doesn't notice Jungkook's flushed face that he left behind.
Jungkook fans himself to ease his crimson cheeks and tries to silence his accelerated heart, but he fails.
After a minute felt like years, he runs to catch up with Hoseok with his now, slightly pink cheeks.
When they get back to work, Namjoon, Yoongi and Seokjin are already at their desks. They are already watching their little humans from their holograms.
Sometimes controlling their little humans can be very enjoyable. Like watching a movie, writing a story. But sometimes it is a complete torture to some of them. Actually, for one of them, in their group.
For Namjoon.
"Why don't you ever listen to me? LET ME HELP YOU!
NO, DON'T GO THERE!"
Namjoon shouts as he presses the buttons furiously. He can't stop cursing a lot since he had learned from his little humans.
Sitting next to him, Yoongi lowers his eyebrows and looks angrily at Namjoon. He looks like a cat, no matter how scary he wants to look, from where Hoseok sits.
Meanwhile, Seokjin glances at Yoongi time to time, trying his best to be subtle. But he is not.
Hoseok pokes Jungkook who sits next to him.
"Look at Seokjin hyung. He is in love with Yoongi
hyung, but they are so oblivious. He needs to
say his feelings. Yoongi doesn't say but he
looks at him with his heart eyes too."
They giggle like school girls talking about everyone's crushes. Seokjin looks at them as he narrows his eyes. They stop and turns back to watch their little humans from their hologram and press some buttons.
Later, Jungkook says in a low voice.
"I don't think he can confess his feelings to him,
hyung. He would never say it. He's a coward."
Hoseok nods.
However, they actually don't know that they are the real cowards.
After an hour, Jungkook glances at Hoseok and pats his shoulder.
"Hyung, how about introducing our little humans with
each other? Maybe they'll be good friends. Taehyung
is very successful, unlike yours but he feels alone, a
friend may be good for him. Also he is looking for a
model to paint."
"So you think my little human, Jimin, is beautiful and
you're definitely right, Jungkookie. He's thinking of
becoming a model right now, so we can introduce
them. Don't forget he's also a SUCCESSFUL dancer."
"Mine is a painter who won MANY AWARDS."
"Mine also has MANY AWARDS."
"Mine has other skills too, he has a very deep and
good voice."
"Mine has too, Jungkookie. You won't win."
After two days, they introduce their humans to each other. Since the day they were introduced, Taehyung and Jimin couldn't stay apart and they fall in love in a short time.
Hoseok and Jungkook try to break up their bond by pressing the buttons like "break up with Taehyung" or "yell at Jimin", but they are useless and they can't break them up.
"How can they be lovers? They're not listening to us
for the first time, hyung. What are we going to do?
Taehyung, you didn't need to be in love with
Hoseok's little human, you deserve better."
Jungkook pouts and crosses his arms. He looks like a kid whose chocolate was taken away.
"I didn't want your little human neither, but we can't
do anything to prevent this. Otherwise, Jimin would
have never fallen in love with Taehyung. My little
human deserves better. "
Seokjin can't resist himself and interrupts their endless bickering.
"If you can't prevent them, it means they are
soulmates, you dummies. Look at how they look at
each other. It reminds me how you both, actually. "
He says this while drinking his coffee that his boyfriend -yes, Yoongi- bought and grins. He leaves the bomb like that and runs away.
Hoseok and Jungkook glance at each other but immediately turn their heads, Jungkooks looks at the walls as if they are so interesting, Hoseok looks at the floor as if he never had seen it.
Both of them blush so much and their hearts beat fast. Then, Hoseok goes to bathroom. Jungkook stays still.
They never speak about this again.

After a few days, they decide to land on earth.
Jungkook has a plan, but Hoseok doesn't know that. As he watched Taehyung and Jimin from the hologram, and saw their strong bond, holding hands, kissing, he noticed his feelings that he kept for years.
He also wants to hold hands with Hoseok, kiss him, travel with him, hug him, sleep side by side, wake up together, cook together, go to the movies, go on a dates. He wants everything with him.
He wants to kiss his delicate hands freely, kiss his pinkish lips of Hoseok that he often imagined kissing. Seokjin's words didn't come out of his mind either.
Whenever Hoseok touches him, whether it is unintentionaly or intentionaly, his heartbeat accelerates, his ears becomes red.
Hoseok feels the same. Now he wants to say, shout his love. He loves Jungkook for years but he was a coward. He thought about what Seokjin said all the time. So he makes a decision.
He will confess his feelings when they land on earth.

"Are you ready, hyung?"
"I am ready."
They reach the door that connects to the earth and hold hands. It isn't their first time on earth, but they are so excited as if it were.
They choose to go to the Han River, where they went and had a lovely picnic before. They stand and watch the Han River. It is dark, a mild wind is blowing.
Hoseok stares at the bright stars in the sky, their home, he looks peaceful.
Jungkook prefers to stare at him instead. He drowns in Hoseok's beauty. Every detail about him is beautiful: his smiling eyes, delicate hands, his tiny body, light brown hair, his cute nose, sharp jawline, mole on his lip-... Everything.
Jungkook doesn't realize that Hoseok is looking at him, tilting his head because Jungkook is lost in thought. About Hoseok.
"Is there something on my face, Jungkookie?"
Hoseok searches throughout his face with his hand,
trying to wipe whatever is stuck on his face.
But Jungkook grabs both hands of Hoseok and says to himself this is the right time to confess. He gulps and starts pouring his heart.
"I love you hyung. I always loved you, I will always
love you. I want to have a relationship with you, just
like Taehyung and Jimin have. I want to wake up
with you, sleep with you, kiss you, be always with
you. Please accept my feelings."
He kisses Hoseok's hands and looks at him with his big doe eyes. They are sparkling under the lights of stars.
Hoseok can't believe what he heard, is he dreaming?
He looks into Jungkook's big doe eyes staring at him, noticing that Jungkook is waiting for an answer.
Instead of answering, he chooses to jump at Jungkook's arms and kiss him. They fall to the ground, but continues kissing and giggling until they are out of breath.
"I love you, too. I want to be with you forever,
Jungkookie. I love you for years, but i was scared that
i lose you so i didn't say anything. I want to do all the
things you said. Now i am gonna kiss you again."
He kisses every part of Jungkook's face, then he hugs him tightly, Jungkook giggles and they sit on the grass, this time they look at the stars together with their holding hands and pinkish cheeks.
Jungkook sings a song he writes for Hoseok, "Your eyes tell" with his beautiful voice, Hoseok accompanies him.
They don't realize that Jimin and Taehyung, who are having a picnic behind them, are watching them curiously.
"Look, Taehyung, they're just like us."
Jimin points at them with his hand and giggles.
Taehyung smiles and nods.
"Just like us."
