There are days I wonder why I let myself fall in love with you.
But then there are other days I know that I didn't let myself do anything, it just happened and the whys don't seem to really matter much any more if they ever really did
I've also come to realize as I've thought about you and our time together over these long years since you've been gone that I know the way things happened couldn't have happen any other way. We were always meant to be together, Tony, and even if I couldn't keep you until we were both growing old, I wouldn't change anything. Having the chance to love you, being the woman that you loved, and being the one you had given your heart exclusively to is something I will cherish with every breath I take. I am sorry that I did not try to be a better guardian of your heart while you were still with me. I did things that I know hurt you, and I am so sorry.
I love you, Tony. I love you so much and I miss you... oh how I miss you.
If I had it to do all over again, knowing what was coming, how short our time would be, I would without any pause.
