For Pixiestyxs
It had been a long time since they had a night to themselves. Usually Harry would be busy with his position as head Auror, and Draco was busy with the kids and his own charities which luckily he was able to manage for home. The former Gryffindor and Slytherin had been married for 15 years now and had 3 lovely children, Adriana, who was 14, Lucien, who was 12, and Aiden, who was 11. Today they had put them all on the Hogwarts Express and for the first time they were alone in the house. Harry had taken off some time from work, and Draco had arranged for his main assistant to cover all of his work so they could have some time on their own.
Candles adorned the beautifully set table on the balcony of their luxurious hotel room set in downtown London. Draco was already seated, head turned towards the stunning colors of the dying sunlight gracing the tops of the buildings stretching out from the city center. Harry stepped out into the early evening air and took in the breathtaking sight, not of the view, but of his husband. Fine lines graced the once smooth plains around his eyes and mouth, but he was still beautiful to Harry. Draco turned at the sound of Harry’s shoes hitting the stone tiles as Harry approached the table with a smile. He sat down and a room service attendant who had been standing almost invisibly in the corner brought the food laden cart to their table. After depositing the first course he stepped back into the slight shadows to allow the men their privacy. They spent their meal talking about their life together, how happy they had been and how grateful they were that they still had the spark that kept them together after all of these years.
After their meal ended the attendant left their decadent dessert covered on the table and the loving couple stood in the now darkened night and kissed.
