[BREAKING!] Hina of Pink Sonata Rushed to a Hospital in Japan due to Threatened Miscarriage
[BREAKING!] Hina from Korean Girl Group Pink Sonata hid her Pregnancy in Japan during Group's Hiatus
Jimin was casually lounging in the practice room watching Hoseok try out a bunch of routines. Trying to enjoy themselves just before the comeback season approaches.
"Hyung, do that turn again, it would look beautiful after that downwards crouch" he comments.
Just as Hoseok was about to do the turn, Namjoon bursts through the door, sweating and breathing heavy, clearly having just ran from who knows where throughout the building.
"Jimin! We need you in the briefing room right now, the higher ups are already on their way there. Hoseok I think we might need to come too, call the others we'll need to be there for Jimin" Namjoon says, a little too fast, for the shocked parties to hear.
"Hyung, what's going on?"
"I'm not entirely sure yet, I've only been given instructions and a very slight overview before I ran here" Namjoon says shaking his head.
"Hobi, why don't you go ahead and contact the others yeah? I'll go with Jimin" he beckons Hoseok to go, giving him signals with his eyes. Hoseok, understanding as always, moves to the door and starts dialing the other members numbers.
"Hyung? I don't understand, is there something I need to know? Is this about me?" Jimin says when he's left alone with Namjoon.
" I don't know how to say this" Namjoon starts. “Maybe here, read this” he says, handing out his phone.
Jimin takes the phone and on there he finds multiple tabs all with the same headline. “Oh my god, is she okay? How is she?” he says, look of concern painted over his face.
“I think right now, we’re really not yet sure of her exact condition. But Jimin, this kinda has something to do with you too.”
“Me? Why me? We weren’t really that close but we talked here and there. What happened hyung?” Jimin asks, growing nervous by the second.
“Jimin, she’s saying you’re the father.” Namjoon almost whispers.

All of a sudden he feels like the entire building has just dropped on him. He’s left speechless as Namjoon strokes his back in a manner that’s supposed to comfort him but he feels Namjoon’s nervousness in every movement. “Jimin, breathe, we’re gonna talk about it okay? And the group’s gonna be there too.”
Namjoon half carries half guides him towards the board room of the building. But right before they enter he pushes Jimin to face him and holds him by the shoulder.
“Hey Jimin-ah, you’re gonna be okay. I’m gonna be there, we’re all gonna be there okay. Whatever you can’t say in front of the managers, you can always say to us. It doesn’t matter, okay. Even if you don’t want to say anything, we’d still be here. Okay?”
Jimin manages a weak nod, still unable to process anything at the moment.
When they enter the room, Namjoon is met with three of the members, each with their own versions of “What’s going on?”. But Namjoon just calmly replies with “Let’s all sit down and just wait for the others first.”
Namjoon carefully helps Jimin sit down in one of the empty chairs and then sits down right beside him, slowly lowering his hand to Jimins. And Jimin is grateful for that hand so he grips it tight.
Just then, Taehyung arrives, feeling the somber mood of the room., he foregoes asking the reason for the gathering and sits himself on the empty space beside Jimin. He turns to look at his best friend and he’s shocked to see Jimin’s pale blank face. He starts to ask what's wrong but the door to the room opens and in comes their manager and the CEO.
“I didn’t know you called all of the members Joon but I guess this should be better, Jimin needs all the support he could get right now.” Mr. Bang says. Then he turns towards Jimin who just stares at him blankly. “Jimin, would it be okay for you if all of the members were here? Or would you want to talk to me regarding this matter alone?”
Jimin turns to Namjoon in panic and grips his hand tighter, a bit painfully. So Namjoon speaks for him “Sir, I think it would be best if we were all here for Jimin right now.”
With that, Mr. Bang takes his seat on the other side of the table and starts “Very well.”
“Some of you already know why you’re here” he turns to look at Namjoon “while most are still clueless” he says as he surveys the rest of the member’s questioning faces.
“Is this something to do with the news that just broke out?” Seokjin speaks.
“That’s got nothing to do with us tho, hyung” Jungkook answers.
“Actually, it does have something to do with us. This morning when the media broke out the news--” Mr. Bang says.
“Wait, wait, what news boss?” Yoongi says.
“Right, okay. So let’s start from the beginning. Just earlier news broke out that Miss San Hina, has been rushed to a hospital in Japan due to threatened miscarriage. Right after the news broke out, their company contacted me directly. As per her manager, her condition is very unstable and it is very possible that she may lose her life as well as her baby’s. The doctor says that this was due to the difference of blood type between the mother and the child.” Mr. Bang pauses to make sure everyone were catching everything.
“Well, what’s this got to do with us boss?”
“Right now they badly need a blood transfusion so the child may survive and Ms. Hina has reiterated her main priority was her baby. Unfortunately, negative blood types are extremely rare in Asia and it would be too late if they sourced it out elsewhere. The best option the doctors gave is blood from the Father of the child.” Mr. Bang continues and nervously glances at Jimin who is now looking down and he could see him shaking.
Taehyung notices this too and he gently puts his arm around his best friend as he tries to catch his eyes. Without avail, he holds on to Jimin’s other hand and intertwines their fingers instead. Jimin instantly grips his hand like his life depended on it.
“I’ll go” Jimin whispers so quietly that only the two members beside him hears it. Taehyung does his best to hide his shock, he doesn’t have time for that right now, his best friend needs him so he pulls Jimin closer to him.
Mr. Bang, having not heard Jimin, continues “The manager informed me that while Ms. Hina decided to keep it a secret to everyone else, she told her the identity of the father."
" Park Jimin” he says the name very quietly, afraid that if he mentions it too loud, he might break the already shaking boy. At the mention of his name, Jimin visibly freezes for a second before he continues to shake.
“Jimin-ah, now we don’t know for sure if Ms. Hina was telling the truth or if she was remembering things differently so we needed to hear it from you first.” Mr. Bang ends gently, facing Jimin.
Taehyung starts rubbing Jimin’s shoulders trying to make the older boy calm down.

Jimin barely remembers that night. It was one of their short breaks and he was out drinking and playing billiards with one of his hyungs at an exclusive bar in Itaewon. It was just like any other free night, other acquaintances from outside the group were all there and they were having a good time.
Towards the end of the night, one of his friends introduces her to Hina. They’ve already met before but they were only limited to casual hellos and small talks. That night they chatted a lot and the bottles of alcohol in front of them kept piling up. One thing leads to another and they end up at one of the grand hotels nearby.
Jimin did not remember how they got there but he remembers clearly what happens afterwards. He remembers mentioning to Hina that he’s got no condom on him because honestly he wasn’t planning to get laid that night. He starts to exit the room to purchase one at a store when Hina stops him and says she was on contraceptives anyway.
Jimin was drunk enough that he didn't register all the possibilities that could entail what happened afterwards.
After their shared night, they part ways peacefully and agreed to never speak of it again. They have not even exchanged numbers.

"Yes, I do remember, it was during our July break, I think" Jimin lets out a sob towards the end. He's full on crying now "I was so stupid, hyung" he turns to look at Joon as Taehyung grabs him towards his chest closer. "We were both drunk and I wasn't thinking clearly. Now two lives are in danger because of me." He continues.
Namjoon just hugs him and Tae, ends up sandwiching him in between them as he continues crying.
After a while, Jimin starts to calm down, tears still streaming down his face but the loud sobs have stopped. Namjoon whispers "Min-ah, what do you want to do?"
"I have to go hyung" Jimin replies weakly, too tired from all the crying. "I have to save them"
Mr. Bang suddenly stands and says "I had them ready the private jet early on and I think your manager has your packed bags and is on his way to the airport as we speak."
"I'll contact Ms. Hina's team from here and update them regarding the situation. I'll forward you the contact info too once you get on the plane." He continues as he grabs his phone and moves towards the door. "You may go Jimin-ah"
Jimin tries to stand but his knees are weak and he ends up falling back on Tae's chest. The younger one, holding him tighter.
"Hyung, it will be okay" Jungkook says and Taehyung turns to see that the youngest was also crying.
"Do you think we should all come with Jimin?" Seokjin asks, tone very concerned.
"I don't think that would be such a good idea. It'll create a ruckus" Mr. Bang says.
"Honestly, fuck the media, boss" Yoongi says with venom.
"It's not only that Yoongi-ah, I think it would be uncomfortable for Ms. Hina given the situation she is already in."
"I'll go with him and you can't stop me" Taehyung says, slowly standing up with Jimin between his arms. The older one tightening his grip on Taehyung's waist for support.
"Very well" Mr. Bang says. "Actually, I did also ask to prepare your passport and things. Your manager is on his way together with Jimin's" he says right before he finally leaves. "Take the car downstairs" he shouts from the hallway.
The room seems frozen for the longest time before Jungkook finally moves and latches himself on Jimin. "Hyung, we're going to be here for you okay?"
Namjoon follows suit and hugs them too. "Yes, Jimin, you're going to be okay"
"Trust us Jimin-ah" Hoseok chimes and joins them.
"We'll be here and we love you so much" Seokjin says, following after Hoseok.
"You'll be alright kid. You're doing well" Yoongi adds as he attached himself to the rest of the group.
Jimin doesn’t know what he’s feeling at the moment, he just knows that he’s in the middle of a group hug with the people he loves the most in the entire universe. Right now, that’s all he needs. Right now, that’s all he feels.
A few minutes later Namjoon speaks “Jimin, you know I love these group hugs but I think you have to leave right now if you want to get there on time.”

Taehyung helps Jimin into the car, not letting go of his hand the entire time. Once they get settled in, his hand holding Jimin's and his other arm around the smaller boy, he notifies the driver that they're ready to go.
He has so many questions for Jimin. So many. But right now, he doesn't need answers, he just needs to be there for his best friend.
The entire trip to the airport is quiet, save for the tiny sobs Jimin lets out that he hopes Taehyung can't hear, but he does, going by the way he pulls Jimin a bit closer each time.
By the time they arrive, both are practically glued to each other. Jimin's face was buried onto Taehyung's chest.
"Min, we're here" he says gently.
Jimin hums and slowly extracts himself from Tae's just realizing that he got Taehyung's shirt all wet. "Tae, it's all wet, I'm so sorry" he says apologetically.
"Nah, it's okay. It'll dry. Here" he says as he wipes the remaining tears on Jimin's cheeks with his hands.
"But you're all snotty and gross because of me" Jimin continues.
"It's fine, Min-ah. See, I brought my coat, it's gonna be covered anyway" Tae says "let's grab you a mask and get outta here. What do you say? Are you ready, Min?"
Jimin just nods. He puts on his mask and grabs Tae's hand because he needs that to ground him as of the moment.
It's when they get on the plane that Jimin realizes something. He's curled up beside Tae like they were in the car.
"Oh my god, Tae, I'm so sorry" Jimin suddenly says.
Taehyung's confused but he lets the other man continue.
"For dragging you into this. You didn't have to come. And I'm sorry, god, you must hate me right now. You don't even have anything to do with this and now you're on your way to Japan for absolutely no reason but me" Jimin says with a new onslaught of tears.
Taehyung must admit he got a little hurt by what Jimin said because of course he had come. He just had to because even tho it hurts seeing Jimin like this, he needs to be there for his friend. His heart breaks everytime he sees Jimin cry and he can't have that. He needs to be there to help him piece his heart together even when his own is breaking.
"Jimin-ah, what are you saying? I want to be here. Okay? I want to be here for you. You're not dragging me into anything at all. I'm not going to Japan for no reason, I'm going there for you. Because we're in this together. And we're gonna go for a long time, remember?" Taehyung says, hope in his voice.
"Tae, thank you" Jimin says, completely wrapping himself to the taller boy now.
"You don't need to thank me Jimin-ah. You know I'll always be here for you" because I love you Taehyung whispers, the rest of the words remain unspoken.
"Always" Jimin whispers back.
They both fall asleep after that. Jimin was exhausted from all the crying and Taehyung was just emotionally tired.

It all becomes a blur of rushed things right after they land. They're immediately taken to a hospital and they finally meet Hina's manager at the lobby.
"Hi, I'm so glad you made it here safely. I'm Kira, Hina's manager" a woman with glasses dressed pristinely in all black greets them.
"Thank you. I'm Taehyung and this is Jimin" Taehyung says, feeling obliged to introduce themselves since the manager seemed so formal.
"Yes, if you’d please come with me. I'll take you to see the doctor" she says sternly.
"Hold on" Jimin says, halting the lady "How is she? Is she okay?"
"Right now, she's still unstable and so is the baby. I can't really tell you much, that's why I'm taking you to the doctor so he could explain more clearly" the manager says, a bit exasperated.
"Right. Okay, let's go" Jimin says, embarrassed.
They hurry up the hospital and get to Hina's room where the doctor is right outside speaking with other doctors and hospital staff it seems. He notices them right away.
"Is this him?" Hina's doctor, Jimin assumes, asks them.
"Yes, doctor, this is Park Jimin. He's the Father of the child" the manager introduces.
Jimin can't help but shiver at the introduction. Seeing as he has not yet fully grasped the idea of being "that".
"Right" the doctor turns back to the hospital staff, asks them to get things ready and turns back to Jimin right after the staff hurries away to carry out their tasks "Mr. Park, please come with me, we need you hooked on a blood transfusion set stat".
As Jimin moves, the doctor eyes the two men's joined hands, "I'm sorry Mr. Park but you're not allowed to take companions in the ward. Your friend can stay here with Ms. Kira."
Jimin hesitates but lets go of Taehyung's hand. "Don't worry Jimin-ah, I'll be right here"
The doctor catches Jimin up while he's hooked on the set. It's as their CEO has said, incompatibility with blood types between the mother and the child. Right now both are in danger since the mother's immune system is rejecting the baby and identifying it as a foreign object. Meanwhile the baby is not getting blood circulation from the mother due to the differences and is currently unable to produce enough blood to sustain themself.
"We need your blood to be transferred to the baby so it can survive, although this may further endanger Ms. Hina's life because of her immune system. I've presented the risk to Ms. Hina but she insisted that the baby be saved instead of her" the doctor explains.
"Usually the protocol is to save the mother at all cost but as there is no legal guardian present to make the decision for Ms. Hina, we've honored her request since she's of age. Unless you have a different opinion of course since you are the father" the doctor asks.
It takes a while for Jimin to process this. He did not think he got a say in this entire situation.
Seeing his hesitance the doctor continues "I understand you were only very recently informed of the situation and was completely unaware of the pregnancy. But as the child's father, you may have a say in this if you choose to"
Jimin nods "I think it may be best to honor the mother's wishes" he finally says.
"Very well, I kinda knew you would say that. That's why I got you on this needle anyway before asking you" the doctor says trying to lighten up the mood.
As soon as the blood bag is filled, the doctor takes Jimin back to Hina's room. He finds Taehyung already there together with Kira. This is the first time he sees Hina after months and it saddened him to have to see her like this.
"Hey Jimin-ah" Hina says as she smiles at him weakly "Long time no see huh?" she says and tries for a laugh.
The doctor announces that they're getting ready for surgery and will take Hina away when everything's set before he leaves the room.
Jimin moves closer to Hina, right beside her bed. "Are you feeling okay?" he asks.
"I've been better" Hina casually jokes. "No don't cry Jiminie, I don't want to be around sad faces. Please"
Jimin wipes away his tears as he sits down on the chair right beside her. "Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything" he says.
"No, Jiminie. Please don't apologize either. We both know we were both at fault. So let's not apologize to each other. And if you must know, I don't blame you for anything at all. Okay?" she says, still smiling. "You know if anyone was to apologize it's supposed to be me, for not telling you. I mean she's your baby too. You had every right to know"
Jimin shakes his head no. "No, let's just both agree that there's nothing to apologize for"
"Okay" she says and laughs lightheartedly “Thank you.”
"It's a she?" Jimin asks.
"Yes, it's a girl" Hina says right before the hospital staff comes in to roll her bed away to surgery.

“You don’t have to stay, you know?” It's Hina’s manager who breaks the silence. “I know you don’t want anything to do with this. It’s fine, you can leave”
“What happens after?” Jimin asks.
“After?” Ms. Kira asks.
“After the surgery. What happens to Hina? What happens to the baby?” Jimin says.
“The doctor’s not even sure if there is any after the surgery for Hina” Kira says quietly after a while.
Jimin belatedly realizes the manager was in tears, only after the small sob that followed her statement.
“I’m sorry. Please excuse me” she says before she exits the room.
Jimin’s left there standing in the middle of the room. The weight of the entire situation back on him. Suddenly, he feels two hands wrap around his midsection. He remembers Taehyung. He remembers that he’s not truly alone in this.
“Tae, I don’t know what to do” he says as he turns around to properly hug the taller man.
“We’ll figure it out Jimin-ah. For now, all we can do is wait.”
So they do.

Two hours later, both men on the sofa get startled when the doctor enters the room. Right behind him is Ms. Kira.
“I think it might be better if you contact Ms. Hina’s family now. They need to hear this with you.” the doctor starts.
“I have contacted her parents, they haven’t gotten back to me since the other day. It would be a waste of time to even wait for them.” Kira says and Jimin hints a little resentfulness from her voice.
“Very well.” the doctor continues “I’m very sorry but unfortunately, Ms. Hina did not make it through the surgery” he says head down.
Kira crumples in on herself, thankfully Taehyung catches her before she hits the ground. This time she doesn’t even try to hide her tears. Taehyung holds her and she can’t help but hold back else she falls.
And Jimin. Jimin feels like he’s been hit by a two-ton truck. Maybe that would’ve been more painless actually. He feels like he shouldn’t be hearing these words. Like he shouldn’t even be there at the moment. He wants to run but at the same time he’s glued to where he stands.
“The good news is, the baby is okay. She’s under observation as of the moment and you will be able to see her once she’s more stable.” the doctor continues. “Again I am sorry for your loss” he says to Ms. Kira as he moves to leave the room.
Jimin remains frozen where he’s at and he sees Ms. Kira shaking and crying whilst holding on tightly to Taehyung. Holding on for dear life. Taehyung tries to calm her down, patting her shoulders.
For a while they stay like that.
Moments later, it seems that Ms. Kira has calmed down. She excuses herself to contact the company.
Jimin is still stuck standing there like a statue. He feels Taehyung move closer towards him. That’s when he allows himself to melt down knowing that Taehyung is there to catch him. He always is. He rests his face on Taehyung’s shoulders and hugs him tight.
That’s how Jimin’s manager finds them, having already heard the news.

They attend the funeral, because of course they had to.
They met the other Pink Sonata members who, at that time, were rushing back from different parts of the world. Jimin understood, they were on a break after all.
Both Jimin and Taehyung weren’t expected to stay for the week-long service but they did. It was two days into the funeral that Jimin met Hina’s parents. They seemed sad but not caring. Jimin did not understand them at all. Later Kira explains that Hina’s parents never approved of Hina’s dreams and Hina ran away from home right after high school. After which, her parents had cut all ties with her.
What bothered Jimin was that even after all this time, they seemed to have not accepted the fact about how Hina’s life turned out. It’s sad that they’ve never had the chance to clear things with each other before Hina had left for good.
They stayed for a day, to entertain some of the other relatives that came and left soon afterwards. This continued to disappoint Jimin, however he’s sure he had no say. What irked him the most is the fact that they have not even inquired about their grandchild.
Three days into the funeral, the members all came to pay their respects which Jimin was extremely thankful for. It was risky since the media has not been transparent to who the father of the child was yet so they only stayed for the day and had to return to Korea afterwards.
But Taehyung, he stayed with Jimin the entire time and never once left his side. Kira kept saying that it's okay for them to leave except Jimin wanted to be there.
And also Jimin was waiting to visit the baby. She's been in the hospital the entire time, still under observation. They see her through a glass window often enough but Jimin wants to hold her. At least once.
Hina's funeral procession went smoothly, all of Pink Sonata's members were there and basically the entire company. Her parents didn't come back for the last process but that's okay too. She was surrounded by her real family. The members and her manager were the only family she needed.

It was 2 weeks after the birth when Jimin received news that she was now allowed to be discharged. He rushes to the hospital with Taehyung.
When they get there, Kira’s already talking with the doctor.
“Mr. Park, you’re here.” the doctor greets.
“The doctor’s been waiting for a legal guardian so we can finally take her home,” Kira says.
Jimin is still isn’t used to the fact that he was the father of this baby. That he was the legal guardian.
“There’s also the issue with the registration. We still haven’t gotten a name yet.” the doctor adds.
Kira just looks at Jimin. “Go ahead” she says “she’s your child after all, you get the right to give her a name. Hina didn’t mention to me what she wanted to name her although I’m pretty sure she’d have thought of one.”
“I….I- I don’t have a name” Jimin quietly says.
“Since Jimin is the legal guardian, does this mean that he will be the one to take care of her” Taehyung asks, to take the attention away from Jimin who he knows must be overthinking right now.
“Legally, yes he’s the only one who would be authorized with the care of the child. Although technically since they were not wed, it must be the Mother’s parents or next of kin but seeing as that’s not a possibility, judging from what Ms. Kira here has relayed to me, custody must be to the Father.” the doctor answers him. “If you’ll excuse me, I’ll have the nurse process the papers for discharge and get back to you.”
“You just have to sign the papers and I’ll take her off your hands” Kira says after the doctor has left. Her expression is unreadable but her voice is determined.
“Wh-what?” Jimin says turning to her.
“I’ll take care of her. This wasn’t part of my plan but Hina was my family. She was like the sister I never had and she loved her baby more than anything else.” Kira answers.
“What about your life? Your dreams? Don’t you wish to have a family of your own? What then?” Taehyung asks for Jimin.
“I don’t know. I’ll have to figure it out I guess. But I just can’t leave her. Hina loved her so so much you know. She had so many plans for her. She thought that, with her, she’s never going to be alone ever again” Kira is slightly getting teary. “And I do have dreams that I still want to accomplish. I do wish to have a family of my own. But right now, I don’t know what else I could do. Who else is gonna take care of her, if not me?”
“I’m her father aren’t I?” Jimin answers “I’ll take care of her.”
Right then, a nurse arrives and ushers Jimin to the nursery where she approaches a crib.
“Are you Mr. Park?” the nurse asks. “Here you can hold her if you want” gently passing her over Jimin.
Jimin has only once ever held a baby. It was one of his nephews. But this feeling was nothing compared to that. He felt extremely nervous but as soon as the baby touched his arms he felt otherworldly as if he held an entire universe in his arms. He can’t help but let tears escape his eyes.
“She’s so small” he says with a wet laugh. “Hi there baby” he says.
“Go ahead. You may take her outside” the nurse says.
As soon as he heads outside the nursery, he’s met by Taehyung and Kira. Both with eager eyes. The first thing Taehyung does is wipe his wet cheeks with a handkerchief.
“Oh my gosh Jimin-ah, look at her. Now that I see her up close, I can firmly say that she got your pretty little nose.” Taehyung says happily.
“It’s only little because she’s so tiny. Look at her Tae-ah” Jimin says, smiling for the first time in two weeks. Taehyung sees this and he smiles his signature boxy smile.
“I know. She looks so adorable. Prettiest baby I’d ever seen” Taehyung says with his smile. And Jimin smiles back.
“Tae”
“Hmmm?”
“I can’t explain what I’m feeling right now” Jimin says, more tears streaming down his face. Taehyung, wiping most of it off.
“Tae, I’ve only held her like five seconds ago but I feel like I want to protect her with my life” Jimin continues “I love her.”
“I know” Taehyung says, rubbing smooth circles on Jimin’s back. “Hear that little one, your father loves you” Tae whispers. At that, Jimin lets out a wet giggle. “I was supposed to tell her that Tae, you’ve ruined it.” he says with a pout.
“Sorry” Tae says unamused “I think the nurse made a mistake and let out two babies” Taehyung jokes.
Kira slowly approaches the duo. “I think you’d make a great father Mr. Park” she says, teary-eyed. “I think you’ll love her very much. Promise me?”
“Promise” Jimin says. “Do you want to hold her?”
He doesn’t wait for her to answer and hands her over carefully instead.
“I think we should name her Hina. After her mother” Jimin asks as he hands her over.
“Or Mina. After her parents. One who loved her and one who will continue loving her” Kira answers.
“That sounds gorgeous. Also, Mina means all in Japanese right? It suits her because she’s gonna be loved by all” Taehyung adds.
With that, the doctor comes back and asks Jimin to sign the discharge papers as well as the registry. He signs it with Park Mi Na.

Jimin gets back to his hotel room with Taehyung holding Mina. He’s carrying a baby bag filled with all the baby stuff that Kira has prepared. That’s when it hits him full force.
“Oh my god Tae. I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing. What the fuck is wrong with me? I don’t know how to take care of a baby” He says crumpling in on himself and Taehyung doesn’t know what to do with the baby in his hands so he heads out first. Probably to hand the sleeping child to one of their managers for a while.
When he gets back, Jimin is still kneeling on the floor just staring at nothing, baby bag in hand.
“Hey. First of all, I cannot believe you just cursed in front of a baby” Taehyung says as he moves to crouch beside Jimin and hug him from behind.
“And second of all, you’re not alone in this okay? I’m gonna be here with you. We’re all gonna be with you. You heard your parents right? They were ecstatic about having a grandchild. They said they were going to help. You just have to take it one step at a time. Okay?” Taehyung says gently.
“Okay” Jimin says.
“Okay. And! And you seem to be completely forgetting about me, I’m great with babies and kids. I practically raised you and Kookie!” Taehyung says, trying to lighten up the mood.
Jimin smiles at that. What Taehyung said was true, he’s never going to be alone in this. He looks at the taller man’s eyes and all he finds is pure sincerity.

Their managers help them find an apartment to rent in Japan. They decided to stay there for a few months so Mina can recover properly with her weekly visits to the doctor.
And Taehyung. He never once left Jimin’s side. They slept in separate rooms at the apartment. Jimin insisted on staying in the same room with Mina’s crib and whenever she cried, no matter what the time would be, Taehyung would always pop up in their room to help Jimin.
After two weeks with just the two of them and their respective managers, who help them as much as they can with the chores and in running errands, Jimin’s parents surprise them by flying in.
When they get there what greets them is two boys with bloodshot eyes and eyebags deeper than the pacific. The managers are not doing much better.
They offer to take care of the baby for a while so the two boys can take a proper rest.
Since all the baby things are in Jimin’s room. His parents take his room and they decide to both sleep in Taehyung’s room.

The first night that Jimin sleeps away from Mina was restless. He almost feels uncomfortable without her in the room and Taehyung had to keep reassuring him until he finally falls asleep in his arms.
When he hears Mina cry, he runs and stumbles towards his room only to find his mother already carrying her. His father scolds him and asks him to sleep some more and to leave it to the professionals.
On his way back, he finds that Taehyung has followed him and he tells him that everything’s fine. They head back to bed together.
A week passes and both boys are thankful for the generous sleep that they are finally getting. Jimin’s parents were an oasis for all the temporary tenants of the apartment.

It’s the second week since Jimin’s parents arrived.
Jimin gets calls from the members very often. Sometimes they facetime with Mina too. This time he gets a call from Mr. Bang himself.
Jimin almost immediately apologizes to him and asks for the possible repercussions that the situations have caused. Mr. Bang tells him that he understood and that they’ve already had everything planned out and that Jimin had nothing to worry about. They announced the delay of the comeback to the fans already and he tells Jimin that he can take as much time as he can.
Jimin feels that their CEO isn't telling him everything but he lets it go because he feels that he's got no right. He knows that everyone's already having a hard time because of him.
That night Taehyung finds Jimin curled up under the blankets, he can't see it but he knows that the older is crying so he rushes to him immediately.
He doesn't hold him at first, afraid that he might startle him so he whispers his name instead. When Jimin hums a response Taehyung asks slowly "Hey there Jiminie, want to come out from under there and tell me what's happening inside that pretty brain of yours?"
Jimin takes a few minutes to respond. But he gradually shows his face out of the covers. He reaches his hands out to Taehyung and he immediately responds by lying down and wrapping his arms around his tiny body as Jimin does the same.
"Tae?" he hiccups. Taehyung shouldn't be endeared because his bestfriend is sad but he finds the tiny noise cute.
"Yes, little bear" he replies as his hands gently circle Jimin's back.
"What if I just quit the group?" and at that question Taehyung halts his ministrations as he freezes. He's about to say something when Jimin continues.
"I've been causing too much trouble and delaying things and it must not be good for the company right? It's not fair to you or the hyungs or Kookie. I just keep ruining things. And we have to have the comeback soon. The fans are waiting Tae. I can't stand it. The hyungs were so excited to release their new music to the world and I can't be the reason for them to have to delay that Tae" he says, hiccuping in between the words.
Taehyung is livid, he can't believe that Jimin would ever think to leave the group but he knows he can't be mad right now. He understands how Jimin might feel after all that has happened.
"Sweetheart, you know you can't leave. The group would be nothing without you" he says trying to comfort the boy.
"That's not true at all Tae, without me it would still work. I don't actually contribute much to the music and actually to anything at all" Jimin answers quietly.
And at that Taehyung can't hold his anger anymore. He shakes off of Jimin's hold and grasps both of his arms firmly to have Jimin face him entirely, staring at him directly in the eyes.
"Take that back Park Jimin! Right now! I hate that you'd think that about yourself. When I say we're nothing without you I mean it Jiminie, it hurts that you'd even say that because then it would seem like we mean nothing to you at all either. We're more than just a band, we're a family, Jimin and families can't function without the other. I hope you understand that. And what you're saying is not true at all. You contribute so much to the group. You remember that one of our greatest hits' melody was written by you. Not only that we'd be a mess without you. You're literally the glue that holds the entire family together. We're always gonna be there for each other no matter what Jiminie. We're here for you now. The hyungs might not be here physically but you know they care right?"
At this Taehyung can't help himself, right in the middle of speaking he's started crying as well but he has not broken eye contact. He needed Jimin to see. He needed him to understand.
And Jimin, Jimin knows that his members care, he knows that Taehyung cares. He knows that what Taehyung is saying is true. He's had a hard time accepting things about himself but he can't help when Taehyung is staring at him like this. It feels like the truth. So he accepts it as truth. He'll always believe whatever Taehyung says.
Sometimes it scares him, the power that this boy, younger than him, has over him. But when he looks deep enough into his eyes, he knows that he shouldn't be scared at all because this man will never hurt him.
When Jimin still doesn't speak after a few minutes, Taehyung hugs him again.
"Jiminie, I hope you see that you're very special to us. To me most especially. And it hurts me to see you like this, to hear you say these things about leaving because you promised me remember? You promised that we'd be going for a long time" he whispers against Jimin's shoulder. He hopes to god that Jimin could feel the wild beating of his chest, could feel the love that he's trying to let pour with his words.
Taehyung knows it's selfish. Selfish of him to force Jimin like this. But he's too afraid of losing him that being selfish is the only way he sees fit to make the man he loves stay with him.
"Taehyungie" Jimin says weakly. He started rubbing over his back too.
He's too selfish, he thinks before Taehyung adds "Please Jimin, please stay. For me?"
"Oh Taetae, of course. I'll stay with you. I'll never leave you. I promise" Jimin answers.
That's enough for Taehyung and right now he's too exhausted because crying is exhausting and emotions are more exhausting so they both sleep.

It's 4 am when Taehyung stirs awake again, limbs entangled with Jimin.
He stares carefully at the man he loves sleeping soundly between his arms and tries to convince himself that he's not being creepy at all.
But Jimin must've felt his intense staring because he starts to wake up too. His eyelids flutter open and he catches Taehyung's eyes on him.
And Taehyung can't help himself because his emotional floodgates have been opened and he can't seem to close them anymore.
"Jiminie, do you think I'm selfish?"
At this Jimin's brows come together in confusion.
"Because I think I'm so selfish. For wanting you to stay. I'm very selfish because I never want you to leave. I want you to be by my side for as long as I live. Do you think it's selfish?" Taehyung keeps going, voice barely a whisper but not needing to be any louder because they're so close, they can hear each other's heartbeat.
"Yes, I do think that's selfish. But what do I do, Taehyungie? Because I'm being selfish too. Because I want you to stay too. Because after everything that's happened, I just want you by my side. And even though I feel guilty every single day because you don't deserve to be in this mess with me, I still want you to never leave me because I am that selfish."
At this, Taehyung hold up his palm against Jimin's cheek. And the older boy leans into his touch.
"Maybe it's because we love each other too much. I know I love you. I'm in love with you, Jiminah. Have been for a long time too. Have been very selfish for too long because I've wanted you for myself" Taehyung says quietly.
Jimin closes his eyes and absorbs every single one of Taehyung's words.
When the younger sees this, he's suddenly afraid that maybe he said something wrong. Maybe Jimin doesn't love him like he does and he's read everything wrong but that all changes when he feels something soft on his lips. He opens his eyes, not realising that he's also closed them, and sees that Jimin's lips are against his.
Jimin has never felt anything like this. He's kissed a lot of lips before but nothing ever felt like kissing Taehyung's. He feels as though nothing will ever top this. Like he'd never want another pair of lips to touch his again.
The kiss doesn't deepen but it's enough for both of them because right now they're both floating together never wishing to come down again. But they still need to breathe so they break apart after a while.
"Taehyungie, I love you too" Jimin confirms. "I'm in love with you too. Let's be selfish together."

After that day, they don't really get to talk much about what happened. They know that nothing has changed only the fact that they get to kiss each other now however many times they want. Jimin's parents notice of course and the small smile Jimin catches on his Dad's lip makes him feel happy.
Some more time passes and it's been 3 months since Mina was born. With the help of Jimin's parents, the managers who never left and of course Taehyung, Mina is deemed healthy enough to travel back to Korea. With recommendations and prior calling to pediatricians in Seoul, they get ready to move back.
On the week of packing up their things, Taehyung suggests a visit to Hina's grave just before they leave. And so Jimin and Taehyung drive off to Hina's resting place with Mina.
"Baby, do you realize this is Mina's first time outside aside from her doctor visits?" Taehyung asks from the passenger seat, looking back at the baby carrier strapped to the backseat of the SUV.
"Oh my god, you're right. It's well too. She needs to see her mother from time to time. Isn't that right baby?" Jimin says looking at the rearview to Mina.
"Shut up, she's sleeping" Taehyung admonishes.
Jimin smiles at that. "I can't help it, did you see the way she smiled when I called her baby. Did you see?"
"Babe, I was the one who showed you remember?" Taehyung giggles.
They arrive some time before noon. It's a peaceful day, a perfect day to be outside. When they reach the columbarium where Hina's at, Jimin looks at his Mina laying in the baby carrier, already awake blinking back at him.
Jimin coos at her and tells Taehyung who in turn carries her from the carrier. "Hey there little baby, you're awake. Just in time to see your mom. Are you ready?" Taehyung tells Mina with a smile. And Mina smiles back.
The older smiles at the sight. The two loves of his life, smiling at each other. And then it hits him, this right here. This right here is his own little family. The one he would love forever, the two people he could love more than his own life. And with that thought he smiles a little bit wider.
Jimin carefully places the fruits and the flowers on the table in front of Hina's picture while Taehyung sways Mina and tells her about what her mother looks like. As he stands, Taehyung bounds over to him and hands Mina over to Jimin.
"Here baby, I think you two should talk to her together. I'll be by the door" Taehyung says.
"No, Tae. Please stay" Jimin says, wanting to reach out his hand but it's currently occupied.
"Of course" Taehyung says as he brings his hand and rests it on Jimin's waist.
"Okay. Here we go. Mina, look it's your Mommy" Jimin says, pointing the 3-month old to the direction of Hina's photo.
"Hina, are you seeing this? She's 3 months old now and she's very healthy. She looks more like you than she does me and I think she's going to grow up as beautiful as you, if not, a lot more prettier. You don't have to worry about her, I'll take care of her for the rest of my life. I'll protect her with my own life" he says as sincerely as possible.
"And don't worry about me either, I have help with Mina and she's a sweet adorable baby who doesn't cause trouble anyway. Taehyungie and I will be the best parents to Mina" he continues. He doesn't register his words until a moment later. "I mean-"
Taehyung, senses this, like he always does. Because he knows Jimin well enough to know what's running inside his mind. So he cuts Jimin off.
"I'll be the best damn Dad you'll ever see. No one's going to be a better father, I'll even beat Jimin for the title" Taehyung says as he winks at Jimin.
Jimin thinks he's very lucky to have been blessed with this man. He knows for sure he'll genuinely never be alone.
"Hey, no you won't. I'll be her bestest Dad. Isn't that right, honey?" Jimin says as he gives Mina a kiss on the cheek. The baby girl is smiling at her father.
"Yeah, you will" Taehyung says as he pulls both Jimin and Mina closer to him. "Now give me my smooches too."

They're sitting at a yakiniku restaurant for lunch. Jimin just picking at his food with his chopsticks while Mina is taking a nap, already having emptied her bottle and burped.
"Babe, why aren't you eating?" Taehyung asks.
"It just occurred to me how this is our first time outside too. As you know.." Jimin trails.
They both know they haven't really talked about labels yet. They've confessed to each other and they know they love each other more than ever. But just haven't gotten the chance to actually talk. And Taehyung doesn't actually care for labels, but he knows he wants everything with Jimin.
"As what?" Taehyung teases, seeing how Jimin looks slightly uneasy.
"I don't want to say" Jimin says, a light blush appearing on his cheeks and a pout forming on his lips. "I haven't asked you either."
"Just say it baby, you don't have to ask. You know I want what you want" Taehyung says with a grin.
"Still. I want to ask" Jimin says, staring at the meat Taehyung has cooked for him, pout fully on his lips now.
The younger catches Jimin's chin in between his thumb and forefinger making the older look at him in the eye. "So ask me."
The pink on Jimin's cheek starts turning scarlet, now running to his ears but his eyes never leave Taehyung's. "But I don't want this to be our first date. I want one that I planned and more romantic, a special occasion just for you."
"My little bear, you know, everywhere's romantic as long as I'm with you" Taehyung says as he reaches forward to kiss Jimin's nose. Thank goodness they'd turned off the grill an hour ago.
Jimin shakes off Taehyung's hold on him as he tries to hide but the younger still catches him. "Where'd you learn to be so cheesy? Have you been binge watching kdrama again?"
He just scoffs at that. "So baby, are you gonna ask or am I going to spend the rest of the day boyfriendless?" Taehyung teases as he grins at Jimin's shocked face.
"T-Taehyungie"
"Yes, baby?"
Jimin whines at that but he continues.
"Taetae. You know how back when we first met, you were wearing those ridiculous red boxers and that red snapback. I think right before that moment, I didn't believe in soulmates but when I saw you, I just somehow knew that you'd be a big part of my life forever. And you remember when my melody got chosen to be a part of the album and they told me I get to sing it with you, I got so excited! Did you know I wrote 5 pages of stories about us to the song writer? I think she was pretty overwhelmed but it went well regardless since I got to tell the world that you were my soulmate" there are tears forming in Jimin's eyes, like crystals shining with the light. Taehyung thinks he's beautiful.
"Tae, I think I've been in love with you since the first time I saw you. But I was too scared. You were everything to me and what if I fucked up you know. I never wanted to lose you. So I thought that maybe soulmates would've been enough. Plus I didn't think you'd ever love me the way I loved you."
"Nonsense Jiminie. Remember when I said I wrote 4 o'clock for you? That night at the park, I think you kind of confessed to me albeit drunkenly. You told me you hoped that I could love you in more ways than I already did. Now, I already knew I loved you by then too but I just wasn't sure enough. Then I guess I got scared too? Leave it to soulmates I guess for feeling the same way" he chuckles.
"Funny thing though, when Seojoon hyung asked me to write a song for his drama, I couldn't help but to just pour my heart out once again."
Jimin giggles at that "You know I thought you were dating Seojoon hyung for a while. I got so jealous about it for a long time. It was partly the reason why I threw those dumplings at you and well you know what happened next."
"I did date Seojoon hyung for a little bit after the drama though. But we both knew it wasn't going anywhere, hyung knew how I felt about you and I thought it was unfair to him" Taehyung confessed. He boops Jimin's nose once he notices his shocked face.
"That's news to me. Wow, I can't believe I was right to be jealous" he laughs.
"Past is past baby, now you know I love you and that you've always been the one" he's got more to say but Taehyung doesn't get to continue because Jimin is reaching over and kissing him full on the mouth. It was wise that they'd requested a private room for lunch too.
Once they both let go of each other to catch their breaths Jimin says "Kim Taehyung, please be my boyfriend."
"I thought you'd never ask. Yes, my baby bear, I'll be your boyfie" he answers with a smirk chasing Jimin's mouth again in a quick kiss.
When Jimin finishes his food, they leave the restaurant. Jimin's hand full, a baby carrier in one hand and the other love of his life on his left hand.

The moment they land in Korea everything becomes clear that they have not yet escaped the rest of it. As soon as they get off the plane, staff from the company greets them and informs them that there is media outside. "I'm sorry Taehyung-ssi, we tried to handle the situation but somehow information still got leaked and somehow the media got a hold of it."
"What do they know?" Jimin asks.
"I think it's better if we discussed it more in your dorm, Mr. Bang and the other managers are coming in too. For now I think it would be best if we get you out of the airport safely first."
Jimin nods.
"You parents will be escorted via the emergency exit together with Mina. You and Taehyung-ssi can leave through the VIP exit. There's going to be a lot of media there but we need you to divert attention away from the emergency exit. Would that be okay?"
"Of course" Jimin says as he feels Taehyung hold his hand.
When they exit, it was just a sea of chaos. Numerous reporters asking "Jimin-ssi is it true ? Did you get Hina pregnant ? Do you have more information about her death ? Where's the baby right now ?" until it just turns into a blur of sounds and screaming to Jimin. He's grateful for the hand he's holding for grounding him, otherwise he's sure he would've already sank down.
"Are you okay?" Taehyung asks as he sits beside Jimin in the back of the van. Jimin just nods in answer, still shaken. And Taehyung just wraps his arms around him.

When they get to the dorm. He spends a few moments settling Mina down in his room. His parents insist that they can handle Mina for a while but Jimin just wants to hold her. Somehow, whenever Mina is in his hands, it calms him down. Much like Taehyung does but a lot more powerful, like nothing else mattered but the tiny human being in his arms. He forgets everything for a while. But he knows he still needs to face his problems so as soon as Mina's eyes closes for her afternoon nap, he leaves for the living room where everyone currently is.
When he reaches the living room, he is immediately surprised by the heavy weight suddenly on him but he catches it anyway before he's even realized that it was Jungkook who jumped at him. He feels the wet tears on his shoulders immediately. His hands lightly patting under the younger's thighs to comfort him.
"Jungkookie, get off of him you big dog. He must be tired from the trip" their oldest member says, petting the maknae's hair anyway.
Jungkook lets out a little sniff before he lets go of Jimin. "I'm sorry hyung, I just missed you so much."
"It's okay Kookie" he pets Jungkook's hair. "I can't believe you call me hyung now, I should disappear more often" he chuckles trying to cheer up the youngest.
"Yah! Don't even joke about it" Jungkook says with a slap on his shoulder.
He sees that all of the other members are gathered around him now. It's Jin who hugs him next after Jungkook and then the rest would follow, ending in a giant group hug.
"Are you alright, Jiminie?" Namjoon asks after everyone has settled down on the living room couches.
"Been better" Jimin says with a slight smile. He's sitting right across Namjoon in between Hoseok and Taehyung.
"I wanted to see baby Mina as soon as you guys arrived but I didn't wanna disturb her, she must be tired from the travel" Hobi says.
"She misses her uncle Hobi, she smiles so wide whenever she sees you on screen you know" Taehyung answers from across Jimin.
After a while of catching up with Jimin, Taehyung and of course Mina. Mr. Bang finally arrives at the dorm and, after greeting Jimin and Taehyung with a hug, sits towards the center, facing all of the members.
"Right, so let's get down to this. As you all must already know, I advised both Jimin, Taehyung and the rest of their party to stay away from social media for a while or any sort of media for that matter" Mr. Bang starts.
"It wasn't that hard, we couldn't even get some sleep the first few weeks, we didn't have time" Jimin says.
"Yes, I actually also advised the other members to be careful with delivering any kind of news that may upset you whenever you guys facetimed. Which means, we have been keeping a lot from both of you" Namjoon says "We're sorry."
"No need to be sorry hyung, you were only looking out for us. And besides we kinda figured you guys weren't disclosing everything to us" Taehyung says.
"Okay so let's update you both shall we?" Mr. Bang says.
After the two nods, Mr. Bang as well as a few additional comments from the members informs them about the chaos that was the media after they got a hold of the information.
"We tried to buy it out, but apparently political issues were also involved here and there and we couldn't do anything about it. We decided it might be best to await your consent before we release anything official" Mr. Bang says.
They reported about Hina's passing immediately and just a month after Mina was born, information already got out about Jimin's whereabouts and the identity of the Father of Hina's child. Though they did not know any information about Mina other than there was a baby, whether the baby lived or not was not known.
"Okay so what do we do now?" Jimin says.
"Well we can make a public announcement. But it's up to you what you want to be disclosed to the public" Mr. Bang answers.
Jimin turns to look at Taehyung, the younger already looking at him. “If I told them about Mina, what would happen to the group?” he asks quietly, not to Taehyung in particular but to Mr. Bang, he just needed to see Taehyung’s reaction.
“Honestly, this would cause a big scandal, some damages here and there. Fans getting mad and wanting to leave” one of the higher PDs say.
“Well we don’t care about damages” Yoongi immediately says.
“And the fans who left were never fans at all, thank them for supporting us before but let them leave freely” Jungkook says.
“Jimin, you don’t have to worry about the group. All we need to think about is Mina and what would be best for her right now” Namjoon says.
“That’s right Jimin. If you want the world to know about our lovely Mina then they will have to accept it. If you don’t, then that would absolutely be fine too. We can make up stuff just to cover the rumors” Jin adds.
At this, Jimin reaches for Taehyung’s hand, and the younger catches it, giving him a gentle squeeze saying that he’ll support Jimin no matter what he decides to do. He gives him a little nod and a weak smile before saying “I don’t want to lie anymore.”

The official statement from Big Hit breaks out like a dam which floods everything not just in South Korea but the entire globe. It shakes the world of entertainment through its core, everyone’s suddenly talking about Jimin and BTS. An official extended break is announced by the entire group as soon as the statement was released.
Suddenly everyone knows that Park Jimin fathered an illegitimate child and that Hina had died giving birth to that child. It wasn’t lost on others that Jimin did take responsibility and took care of his own daughter (the official statement did not reveal a gender or a name but somehow that still got out). However, most only listened to what they wanted to hear and they rejoiced at the fact that the biggest boyband in the world was now “ruined”.
Some fans did feel betrayed somehow and together with antis trended several hashtags asking Jimin to leave the group. A good thing that Yoongi had confiscated both Taehyung and Jimin’s phones. Jungkook’s has long been kept in Jin’s closet.
The days that followed were filled with the members taking turns playing with and caring for Mina. Jimin’s parents had to go home to check up on his brother and Jimin asked them to take a rest for a while since Mina has a lot of people who look after her now.
The members find a routine in their day to day lives. Thankful for the break and the rest. Unlike their other breaks though, the members decided to stay in their dorms. "We've already visited our families from when you were in Japan Jimin-ah, we'd like to stay here" Hobi tells Jimin after Jimin insisted they take their vacations after the members volunteered to take care of Mina.
"Yeah, and this way I can work on my music and see our precious little Mina everyday" Yoongi says as he nuzzles Mina in his hands. The little girl just giggles at his uncle.
Jimin would tear up at the image before him and he does a little bit until he's interrupted with a loud Hyung!
"Hyung! The crib I ordered just arrived! Come and check it out, I already assembled it in your room!" Jungkook shouts from his room. His room now because Jung Hoseok has decided to move out and room with Yoongi so Mina could be with Jimin.
When Jimin arrives by his door he sees the gigantic crib and Jungkook, with his arms open wide, presenting it.
"That's lovely Kook-ah but what happened to the old crib?" Jimin asks.
Jungkook freezes and lowers his hand slowly "I just thought it wasn't as safe as this one" Jungkook said scratching the back of his neck and it looks like he's guilty for something else.
"And?" Jimin worms on.
"Ask Joon-hyung! It wasn't me I swear!" he basically screams, shaking his head wildly.
"It's okay Jungkook-ah and thanks for the gift" Jimin says, a bright smile on his lips. "Where's Namjoon-hyung anyway?"
"He's in his studio, I banned him from going anywhere near Mina for a while. Don't worry, nothing bad happened. It's just a precaution" Jungkook says crossing his arms. Jimin just laughs at this.

As much as Jimin loves living in the dorm with his six other members. He just can't let them live like this. Many nights everyone is woken up with Mina's crying. Taehyung being the first one to rush into his room on nights he doesn't sleep in Jimin's bed (rarely), sometimes followed by Jin-hyung who takes Mina in his arms as Jimin or Taehyung rushes out to prepare either a bottle or diapers.
Most nights the crying doesn't end with a bottle or some diapers. Those nights, each one of them tries to calm the crying baby. Namjoon reads her fairytales in his calming voice while Hobi re-enacts the characters for Mina. Yoongi playing the guitar while Jungkook hums children songs. These things usually work and when little Mina goes back to sleep, he sees the sigh of success his members always make.
The members always assure Jimin that they love Mina and they love helping him but Jimin sees the dark circles under their eyes too, growing by the day.
With this, Jimin asks help from his manager if there's a place he can move in anywhere near the dorm. And as luck would have it, the floor above them has just been refurbished and is currently on the market.
Taehyung at first did not like the idea because he wants to always be near Mina but looking at Jimin's determined face, he agrees to it. "Babe, you know you'll end up sleeping in my bed anyway" Jimin says and Taehyung agrees.
The other members did protest immediately after finding out but they knew it would be for the best, both for them and Mina. They promised they were going to be upstairs everyday anyway.

Jimin finally moves upstairs with Mina. It's way too big for just the two of them but he knows they'll never be truly alone because the members will always be there. Jimin's manager, who never left and helps out a lot especially with errands, chose to stay in one of the apartment's extra rooms.
Mina gets her own room now and Jimin stays at the room beside hers (Taehyung sleeps there too). Everyday the members never fail to visit. Each night Namjoon comes there straight from the studio to read Mina fairytale stories, sometimes in English because "Jimin-ah, she's so smart she'll learn both languages no problem"
Yoongi also comes every night with his guitar after Namjoon. Strumming children songs he's recently learned. One night Jimin hears him tell Mina "Lovely Mina, I wrote a song for you today. When you grow older I'll sing it to you every single day."
During mornings it's his Hobi hyung bringing Mina all kinds of toys playing with her all day long. Jin is in the kitchen testing out recipes for baby's food, for when her pediatrician finally allows solid food for Mina. Jungkook comes late in the afternoons to watch shows on TV with Mina.
And Taehyung, his lovely Taehyung never leaves their sides not even once. He practically lives there. So 2 months after their move, on Mina's 6th month Jimin finally asks him to move in. And Taehyung is nothing but ecstatic, immediately packing up his entire room to move up to Jimins.

One day while Taehyung is preparing Mina's bottle, he hears Jimin scream his name from the bathroom. He immediately places down the bottle and runs to where he knows Jimin is currently giving Mina a bath.
"What? Is everything okay?!" he says when he reaches the bathroom. He sees Jimin crying while hugging a little giggling Mina in the tub.
He crouches down beside Jimin and asks him gently "What happened, are you okay?"
Jimin gives him a nod. And turns to Mina. "Baby, show Daddy what you did."
Mina giggles at him some more and when she opens her tiny mouth, a little "Appa" comes out.
At that Jimin lets out a few more tears while Taehyung looks absolutely endeared. He takes Mina from Jimin's hold gently and gives her a giant kiss on the cheek. "Mina you did so well, Daddy's so proud of you. Can you say Appa one more time?" Mina lets out a wide smile before he says "Appa" a little louder this time followed by little chuckles.
"What a smart little girl. Next time Daddy's going to teach you how to say Dada" Taehyung says as he gives her another kiss, this time on the forehead.
"I bet she'll learn it soon enough, she spends more time with you than she does with me" Jimin says hugging Taehyung's side and Taehyung gives him a quick peck on the lips before saying "I did promise Hina that I'll be the best Dad ever."
What Jimin says was proven true when just after a few weeks Taehyung comes running to him while he's in the kitchen with Jin helping out with the baby food. "Jimin Jimin, listen!!! Mina baby, show Appa" he says excited.
When Mina just follows Taehyung and says "Appa" too, he groans and says "No baby, say Dada come on." And when Mina does so, he lets out a loud squeal of happiness which makes Mina laugh at him.
"That's so great, my smart little girl" Jimin says as he takes Mina from Taehyung and gives her a kiss. "Did Daddy teach you? Did Daddy just keep saying Dada while talking to you?" Mina gives a little nod while saying "Dada" three times. When he looks at Taehyung, he's already giving him his giant boxy smile.
"Okay, well it's lunch time for Mina. You two go clean yourself up while I feed her" Jin interrupts.
This has happened really often these days. The other members make them go away to spend some time together as they take care of Mina and if Jimin is suspicious of anything he doesn't say it. He's thankful for all the little times he gets to spend with Taehyung.
They do get a little handsy on their alone times. Sometimes going all the way like when Jungkook takes Mina downstairs to show her the playpen he built there for her. It's then when they take time to learn more things about each other's body that they've never learned before.
Most times like today, it's a little quickie while they shower together. Giving each other the release they need from too much stress sometimes.
They always come out brand new after each of their alone times and maybe that's why the members let them have those.

On Mina's 10th month, Mr. Bang gives them a tiny briefing on the current situation. Fans and the industry practically demanding that they come back. Music must seem so bland and dry without BTS. During this time, Namjoon and Yoongi and the rest of the members has a joint number of tracks that can last them at least three albums.
Even Taehyung's been writing and completed 2 songs. He works on them when he thinks Jimin thinks he's asleep. He's heard both and Taehyung tells him it's about his soulmate. Jimin gives him a reward he'll never forget a few days after, while Mina was out with Jin and Namjoon to the Han river.
After a few meetings with the management, they've planned out a new comeback schedule. And after 11 months of media black out from BTS, they drop a comeback schedule, an album release after 3 months.
The whole world is on fire again after the news drops. Many are excited, most especially the fans who never left. After all, the group is doing this for them, the ARMYs who stayed and never stopped supporting them.

Mina's officially 11 months old and every member is there to celebrate with a giant cake like they always do on her monthsaries. They take their usual group photo and when Jimin says "Do you think I can post this on weverse?" They all give him a smile and encourage him.
That's how ARMYs met Mina. On a post that says "Happy 11 months to my little angel, never forget that you are loved by all these people around you forever" with a photo of Mina sitting behind a giant cake, the 7 people who love her most around her. Her Daddy and her Appa on her either side smiling at her proudly.
On her 1st birthday, she breaks her Appa's record as being the only person in the world to ever occupy all the trending pages all around the world on twitter. The fans celebrating her birthday all around the globe together with the group.
