Work Text:
AS THE OMEN, HE IS THE END OF ALL THINGS
-Oh great God Arahabaki, please help us. Destroy our enemies until there is nothing left of them. Give us the power to crush all those who want to destroy us and submit us to their tyrannical reign.
Arahabaki replied.
-To you, my children, I grant the power of destruction to destroy your enemies. The power to go against Heaven itself!
Alphas. Betas. Omegas.
The three sub-genres that classified humanity. The gender was known as soon as the baby was born, as they were born with a mark behind the neck that marked them as alpha, beta or omega.
Alphas are the leaders. They are the heads of families and important businesses. They are very powerful. And there were male alphas and, to a lesser extent, female alphas.
The betas were second in command. The followers. They are the second most powerful and there was nothing that would qualify them as special. There were male and female betas.
The omegas are the providers. They are the mothers and wives who take care of the children and make sure that everything is in order. Their maternal instincts were extraordinary and lethal. There were female omegas, and male omegas but in lesser quantity.
On the other hand, there were also Abilities.
The abilities were extraordinary and extremely powerful powers that only some humans had the pleasure, or the misfortune, of having.
Nobody knew where these powers came from or why they were given to humanity out of nowhere a thousand years ago. However, everyone knew that the first ability users came from Japan, specifically, from the Emishi tribes.
Seeing such powers, the forces of the world focused their gazes on the powerful tribes with inhuman powers. Due to the human desire and greed, the people from these tribes were the main focus of the world.
Governments began to form alliances with these tribes against the Japanese government in order to bring such powers to their own countries and families, spreading the abilities to the world. However, there were also those who used these people for experiments, using their blood and cells to create artificial abilities to obtain the power that the Emishi had.
Due to this, and counting the descendants of the Emishi, the abilities reached the point that many humans already had abilities and their descendants also had a high possibility of having an ability.
This is how such powers, which came out of nowhere, were given to humanity.
Dazai Chuuya cried as he looked at Dazai Osamu's handsome and cold face.
Dazai and Chuuya had already been married years ago and had formed a fairly large family of seven.
Dazai Osamu was the powerful and cruel alpha who belonged to Port Mafia. He was the one who proposed to Chuuya. Given this, the already feared duo became even more feared, because now they were a couple and everyone knew what Dazai was capable of.
Dazai Chuuya, formerly Nakahara, was the powerful and loyal omega of Port Mafia, surely the most powerful omega. He took the last name Dazai when they got married. And everyone knows that they shouldn't mess with the mighty omega, much less his family. Chuuya will have no mercy.
Dazai Ryunosuke is the eldest son, an omega like his mother. Despite being an omega, he was born with a great ability and with a great desire to make Dazai proud, even if he was cold and somewhat cruel to him.
Dazai Gin, was Ryunosuke's younger twin, an omega. She was not born with an ability, but that did not make her weak, many times she proved to be strangely stronger than those with abilities. Gin was a quiet and calm girl and she was Daddy's girl.
Dazai Atsushi was an alpha. He was born with a powerful ability that Dazai categorizes as more powerful than Ryunosuke's, which angers the omega. Atsushi is undoubtedly Dazai's favorite and Dazai's not shy about showing it. Because of this, of all the children, Atsushi was the most attached to Dazai.
Dazai Fumiya was an alpha and the exact copy of Dazai physically and in personality. Great things were expected of him as he was so similar to his father, however, being still a child, he is more attached to his mother.
Dazai Aya was Fumiya's younger twin sister and an alpha very similar to Chuuya physically and in personality. Of all the children, she is the only one who came out identical to Chuuya. Like Fumiya, due to being small, she is more attached to Chuuya.
The powerful and great family were the envy of all, and no one ever doubted that they would last forever. They were the most powerful and perfect couple.
But Chuuya's tears eliminated any rumors of the Dazai Family's eternal happiness.
The news that Dazai had just given him was one that Chuuya could not believe.
"How did you leave the Mafia?! They will declare you a traitor!" Chuuya yelled, as angry as he was distressed.
Dazai gave him a cold look.
He understood that Chuuya was angry, the mafia has been everything the omega had known. Chuuya was someone extremely loyal, and he was even more so to the Port Mafia because they had always welcomed him. Chuuya had been betrayed before and did not accept betrayals.
"Mori will never hunt me down. He would never dare to go after me." He said sure of himself.
"And US?!" He yelled at him angrily. Chuuya knew that Mori clearly favored Dazai, but that didn't necessarily included him.
"He will not touch you either, you are mine, you have my last name." Dazai was sure that his last name would protect them from their enemies.
"Osamu, you can't quit the mafia!"
"Chuuya, you can come with me. And obviously the children too. Nothing will happen to them." Said the alpha, directing his gaze to the children who were hiding behind Chuuya.
"I can't, Osamu. I can't abandon the mafia. There lies my loyalty. An organization that welcomed me as a child. An organization that gave me everything. I can't turn my back on them."
Dazai narrowed his eyes.
He knew that Chuuya was going to refuse.
"Open your eyes, Chuuya. The mafia is cruel. It's bad. We are on the side of the bad guys and I want to be on the side that saves people, just as Oda wanted." Dazai's dark gaze turned melancholy.
"Osamu, are you going to turn your back on us because of what Oda told you? Will you leave your family behind?" Chuuya asked, almost begging him to say that he would not leave them.
"Oda is my best friend, he only wanted the best for me."
"And I am your omega! There is no one in the world who desires the best for you with such strength other than me!"
"Then come with me!"
"I can not! I can't leave the mafia behind!"
"Then stay with them, on the side of the bad guys." He spat coldly.
"Are we not enough for you to stay by our side?" He asked, but Dazai did not answer and this only caused Chuuya to cry more at the obvious answer.
They weren't important enough to make Dazai stay in the mafia and by their side.
Chuuya continued crying, but Dazai didn't go to comfort him like he used to before. He just looked at him with a cold gaze, as if Chuuya was his enemy.
"Daddy." Aya whispered, his sapphire-colored eyes like Chuuya's were full of tears. Dazai just stared at her coldly, like he never had. The little alpha began to sob with fright when she saw her father's gaze. Fumiya pursed his lips, angry that someone made his vivacious little sister cry. Fumiya was not going to forgive his father.
And just like his son, Chuuya was not going to let his children suffer. He was not going to allow anyone to make his children cry, even if that person was Dazai Osamu, his husband and alpha.
"Children, let's go." He ordered, wiping his tears.
Ryunosuke and Gin looked at their father, waiting for something. Gin was daddy's girl and Ryunosuke wanted his approval, but the omega twins knew that their mother couldn't bear for them to leave and they didn't want to leave without their mother. They were not going to betray the mafia or Chuuya. Therefore, they turned to leave with Chuuya.
The two alpha twins were mommy's babies, especially since they were so young and in need of their mother. Also, something inside them would not let them leave behind three omegas without protection from some alpha.
But Atsushi stayed stiff. He looked at the ground without saying a word. His mind seemed to be in conflict, a conflict that lasted a few seconds because he then raised his bright gaze and opened his mouth.
"I'll stay with dad." That was the only thing he said.
Chuuya turned quickly and looked at him in shock. He knew that of all, Atsushi was the closest to Dazai and that although he did not like it, the alpha was Dazai's favorite, when as a father, he should not have favorites, however, he did not think that his little one would go with his father since children tend to be more attached to omegas since they can calm them.
"Atsushi?" He asked softly.
"I'm not going with you." He claimed.
Ryunosuke growled angrily.
"You are a damn traitor! But of course, you were always the favorite!" He yelled at him angrily.
"Shut your mouth, Ryunosuke." He ordered in a voice so similar to Dazai when he spoke to his enemies.
Chuuya looked at Atsushi as if he had betrayed him, but his son only held his gaze with the same coldness with which Dazai held his gaze a few seconds ago.
Chuuya bit his lip, holding back tears. He sighed and looked at the alpha duo.
"If you turn your back on me now, if you leave, I want you to know that everything will end. If you leave, we won't be family. If you leave, you will be nothing more than traitors and enemies of the Port Mafia, and therefore our enemies."
Dazai met his gaze.
"So be it." And both alphas turned without looking back, without looking at the three omegas and the two little alphas they had left behind.
The Dazai Family had been broken into pieces.
The news of Dazai and Atsushi's betrayal had brought consequences.
Dazai had betrayed the mafia, and that hadn't made Mori that happy. Yet, as Dazai said, he did not dare to hunt down Dazai.
But the three omegas and the two little alphas were not saved.
Chuuya had to bear the burden of being viewed with suspicions of being a possible traitor and being one step away from being executed for the betrayal of the prodigious alpha.
Chuuya was not stupid, he knew very well that if he died, his children would be in the hands of the Port Mafia and that was the last thing he wanted. Over his corpse his children would be used.
So he had to humble himself before Mori and say he was not a traitor, and beg for the opportunity to prove his loyalty to the mafia. He even decided to use his bachelor name even though he was still married to Dazai. All to show that he and Dazai no longer had anything to do with each other.
But it was difficult when you were an omega with four children to take care of and ensure that no one touches them.
Chuuya had to work harder than anyone to demonstrate his loyalty and to support four children without any help, since Chuuya did not want to owe anything to anyone and since Dazai's betrayal, he could not trust anyone, much less Mori.
And for years, things began to stabilize and Chuuya was more or less able to have a stable schedule and life.
But things were about to change with a family trip.
A journey that would cause Chuuya to face his past.
Nakahara Chuuya have secrets that he wanted to keep buried in his past.
The people around him, not even Dazai or Mori, suspected that there was something else behind the gravity manipulator.
Because of this, Chuuya thought that his life would be quiet and that nothing would happen as long as he kept a low profile.
But when he decided that it was good to go visit Kyoto for a vacation with his children, he did not think that it was going to bring serious consequences that were going to put him in everyone's eye.
Just as it happened a thousand years ago.
"Mother!"
"Children, either calm down or I'll calm you down!" Chuuya yelled at them, tired of the calls of the children when they bothered each other and then called him to scold the other.
The children got silent, pouting.
"Ryu, give the candy to Fumiya."
Ryunosuke looked at his mother in shock.
"How did you know if you are not seeing us?" He whispered irritated and amazed that his mother knew what was happening when he was turning his back on them.
"Ryunosuke." Another call but with a warning tone. "Don't make me repeat it."
"Yes, mother." Ryunosuke replied, sticking his tongue out at Fumiya, who returned the gesture.
The family of five were enjoying the quiet street of Kyoto, heading to the Tsukuyomi temple that the children wanted to visit. They wore typical kimonos and yukatas.
Chuuya walked taking Aya by the hand while with the other, the little girl ate a sweet, Gin was behind her eating a sweet. Ryunosuke was carrying Fumiya in his arms, teasing him by taking his candy away.
The family of five continued on their way to the temple.
But in front of the temple, there was already someone.
"I had been waiting for you, my beloved Arahabaki."
This is why Chuuya did not want to come to this temple.
Chuuya holds his breath without even noticing it. His orange eyelashes moved due to his nervousness, the amazement and even the fear that he felt.
Slowly, Chuuya lowers Aya to the ground and puts her behind him. This action quickly alerts the children. The two alphas may be the smallest, but each of them grew up in the darkness, in the mafia, they know that this man is dangerous enough to scare their powerful mother.
The four of them stand behind Chuuya in silence, but ready to obey whatever order their mother will give them.
"Tsukuyomi." Called Chuuya.
"Oh, despite so many years, you still haven't forgotten me. That makes me happy." The redhead gave him a smile full of love according to Tsukuyomi, but for Chuuya, it was more of a smile full of obsession.
"You...you shouldn't be here. In the world of humans."
Tsukuyomi's golden eyes glittered in amusement.
"My beloved Arahabaki, I am Tsukuyomi, I can do whatever I want. And what I want is you." He smiled.
Chuuya took a step back, colliding with Aya, whom he pulled to his side.
This quickly attracted Tsukuyomi's attention, and his charming smile fell.
"They smell like you, Arahabaki. In fact, I feel their powers. They feel like gods." He smiled curiously and closed his eyes, as if trying to feel something, that is how his golden eyes open, full of anger. "No. They feel like demigods."
The air around suddenly gets heavy and the sky seems to darken out of nowhere.
"YOU HAD CHILDREN WITH A DIRTY MORTAL! YOU DECIDED TO BOND AND GIVE CHILDREN TO A DISGUSTING MORTAL AND NOT WITH ME, ONE OF THE MAIN GODS! HOW DARE YOU HAVE DESCENDANTS WITH AN IMPURE MORTAL?!"
Chuuya gets scared when he feels how Tsukuyomi's power is awakening. At this rate, he will attract the attention of not only of humans, but also of the gods. The gods that he had been fleeing from for a thousand years after his exile.
Chuuya quickly turns to his four children and sees them with tears in their eyes.
"Mom." Ryunosuke whispers, scared.
"Why does he speak as if he was something... something non-human?" Gin asks.
Chuuya begins to cry, looking at his children and trying to protect them from the wind by taking them in his arms.
Chuuya cried because he knew he had to leave them behind.
"Why does he call you Arahabaki, like the god?" Fumiya asked.
"My babies. My children." Chuuya hugs them. "I am sorry to have hidden this truth from you for so many years. You four, you are my greatest pride. And I love you more than anything. More than every god. More than every human. More than my own life and divinity. Ryunosuke, Gin, Fumiya, Aya, I love you."
Chuuya separates them from him and gives them a little push.
"Run. Go away so you won't suffer Tsukuyomi's wrath. Get away and go back to Yokohama. And remember whatever happens, you were never a mistake and you four are what I love the most in the world. Remember that I will always be listening, you just have to pray. Now go."
The four of them look at each other with tears running down their cheeks like waterfalls, they looked at each other and gave each other a group hug with to Chuuya, then turned and started running.
Seeing his children running, Chuuya lowered his head, ignoring Tsukuyomi's gaze, and his tears only kept falling from having to leave his children behind.
"I won't go after them just because they are yours. I won't chase them because they carry a part of you." Assured the God of the Moon.
"That won't keep you safe from what's to come." Chuuya affirmed. Now that this was happening, it would not be long before it was known that the god Arahabaki had children and that these were demigods.
Chuuya turns and looks at Tsukuyomi in the eye.
Sapphire collides with gold.
"It's time for Arahabaki to return." Says the orange haired man with a smile.
Chuuya takes off his gloves and closes his eyes, breaking all the seals that sealed his divinity. Seals that sealed his destructive and calamitous power.
The divine powers of both gods collided in a battle to determine who was the most powerful. To determine who would win.
Both gods meet eye to eye.
Tsukuyomi wanted to possess Arahabaki.
Since the creation of the god, Tsukuyomi felt a love that he did not feel even with Amaterasu. And when he was finally able to return to Takamagahara after being exiled by his sister-wife, he spent his time hunting Arahabaki, who had already been exiled.
Arahabaki had been a god created by the Emishi tribes and their beliefs. He had been an extremely powerful god, being the God of Calamity and Destruction. A god with the power to destroy other gods. But Arahabaki was never a destructive god because just because he could, so he lived in peace, being a god who cared for the Emishi.
Until the prayers came.
For the first time in so many years, the Emishi longed for and sought the destructive power of Arahabaki.
In times when the gods traveled more to the earth, the Emishi tribes were being invaded and the Emishi gods were being destroyed by the invaders who had Heaven on their side.
Faced with such a massacre of his people and the other Emishi gods, Arahabaki did not hesitate to help the Emishi tribes.
So, Arahabaki not only committed the sin of betraying Heaven and joining the Emishi, but he also gave humans such powerful abilities that they were able to fight against the gods and their armies.
However, the time to control such powers was very short and the Emishi were slaughtered and the Emishi gods were punished.
However, Arahabaki was a very powerful god and was the main god behind the Emishi, so he was carried to Heaven in chains. There, he was given the punishment of being exiled from Takamagahara in a mortal body, destined to always reincarnate.
However, Arahabaki did retain his memories although that was not the plan, as they wanted to prevent Arahabaki from remembering his powers, thus, getting his powers. Since as the omen, he is the end of all things. Arahabaki could put an end to it all.
So Arahabaki reincarnated many times in these thousand years.
And his current body was that of Nakahara Chuuya.
And Arahabaki, now Chuuya, wanted to protect his children who should be heading to Yokohama right now.
Above all else, he was first the mother of four children.
"It's time for you to go back to Takamagahara." Tsukuyomi said softly.
"First you'll have to defeat me." Chuuya narrowed his eyes.
"It will be easy, after all, we both know that you are not quite ready to put up a big fight yet. You have never released your power in that body and therefore, it is not ready and will not be able to withstand such power. You will lose." He assured.
"Why do you want me to go? I was exiled by Amaterasu herself. Even with all my power, she is the Queen of Heaven, I will not be able to enter." Chuuya reminded him with irritation.
"So? No one would dare to go against me if I took you with me, not even Amaterasu. After all, no one would dare touch the omega of the Moon God who has permission from Izanami and Izanagi to enter Takamagahara." He said with an arrogant smile.
Chuuya widened his eyes in shock.
He was exiled by Amaterasu herself and unless she gave her permission, Heaven would not open to him. It doesn't matter how powerful he was.
However, Tsukuyomi had managed to get Izanami and Izanagi to revoke his sentence of exile.
No one dared to ask the two primordial beings for something, especially since they lived in solitude and getting an audience with them was practically impossible.
Tsukuyomi had achieved the impossible.
Not only had he achieved an audience with the two primordial beings, he had also managed to get them to revoke a sentence made by Amaterasu. For the first time in the history of the gods, a sentence made by Amaterasu herself had been overturned.
Chuuya knew that now he was between a rock and a hard place. Now he could only use his power and try to defeat Tsukuyomi in an already lost fight.
But there was nothing to lose by trying.
"Oh, Grantors of Dark Disgrace, Do Not Wake me Again."
