Sugar (Honey, Honey)

Summary:

It's no secret that Win loves watching Tops cook almost as much as he loves eating the results.

For the prompt: cooking

Notes:

If you're not yet watching this CentralFood mini series, you really really should - it's just sweetness and domestic fluff of the most wonderful order, with a great side of food porn.

Work Text:

It's no secret that Win loves watching Tops cook almost as much as he loves eating the results. There's something peaceful about the way Tops moves around the kitchen, handles ingredients and arranges them on plates. It's almost zen-like, and it's one of the rare times that Win's mind just goes... calm.

It doesn't hurt that Tops seems to always smile when he cooks. Really, the world should thank Win for the existence of the Youtube video, because he's pretty sure that one of Tops' smiles extends one's life span by several years. Which, thinking about it, would mean that Win is destined to live for a long, long time, being the beneficiary of more than his fair share of those sweet expressions. The idea alone warms him from the inside, the way eating Tops' latest creation does.

He really is too lucky, having Tops as his flatmate. It must be a special reward from a previous life, because Win is certain he hasn't done anything in this life to deserve him. He only hopes that Tops feels the same - or at least that he doesn't mind Win hanging around, eating his food and looking at him as if he hung the moon.

Most people would probably be annoyed, but not Tops. Instead he catches Win's gaze and his eyes crinkle as his smile widens. Sometimes, when he's feeling optimistic, Win imagines that it's a special smile, one meant just for him. The thought tastes sweet, just like Tops' cooking.
