Yoongi knew playing truth or dare at 3 in the morning was a bad idea. He knew it, felt it in his bones. He also knew playing truth or dare with bunch of almost strangers was even a worse idea. But blame his competitive ass and the trap laid out by Hoseok, for he agreed. Hoseok had desperately been trying to merge his two friend circle together consisting of Namjoon, Yoongi and Jungkook on one and Jimin, Taehyung and Seokjin on another. He finally got the two circle to talk and Yoongi has to say, they hit it off immediately. But they are still almost strangers that Yoongi has no idea about.
So really on that note, setting yourself out for a dare is stupid. Yoongi understood the other circle people are wild who bring out the wild side of namjoon and jungkook. Yoongi should have seen this coming, should have taken the L and chosen truth or better yet, should just not have played. But no, jungkook was edging him on and then hoseok had called him a pussy and in no ways is he having anything cat related term stuck on his name again, lil meow meow was embarrassing enough. He also got called straight by Jimin when hoseok said he was pussy and min yoongi was anything but straight. He has a whole song dedicated to how he was not straight so frankly that was offensive.
Anygays, now he is stuck with a dare to kiss Kim Taehyung, the guy from other circle who is extremely good looking, has a boxy smile, looks very much like Yoongi wet dream and overall seems a genuinely nice person. And any other time, Yoongi would have jumped in the opportunity but taehyung had made it very clear that he was straight. And while Yoongi had his doubt (no straight dude grinds on another dude like that), he still respected people’s decision and didn’t cross boundaries. Or at least, didn’t try to.
Here, he is kinda forced. He tries to convince his friends to think it through. All he gets is a string of ‘pussy’ and “wow I didn't know you were straight hyung”. Min Yoongi is going to kill Park Jimin the next time the word ‘straight’ comes out of his mouth. But he keeps his cool, tries to explain that no he is not straight, taehyung is and he would feel uncomfortable.
“I don’t feel uncomfortable. Its totally cool with me hyung.”
And Yoongi has never seen or even heard of a betrayal as big as this one. Top ten anime betrayal, WHO? He sullied his gay reputation to make sure Taehyung wouldn't feel uncomfortable and then the fucker has no shame to side with his friends and call him pussy. Yoongi was gonna kiss the life out of taehyung.
Okay, No. He was not going to kiss the life out of taehyung but he was going to kiss taehyung. Maybe a peck, just a peck and nothing else.
“Okay, fine. But just a peck. Nothing more.” Yoongi finally says over the loud whines of his friends and almost strangers.
And then… the whines get louder.
“Oh come on Yoongi-chi, taehyungie already said he is okay with it, you don’t need to hold back.” Seokjin or as the elder called himself, Jin hyung.
“Wait whats the difference between a peck and a kiss?” a confused jimin. At least he didn’t say straight.
“Its the presence and absence of the Tongue.” Drunk, intellectual Namjoon.
He was so done with this newly made friend circle, he was going give hoseok undiluted hot sauce on his next drink.
“Come on hyung, don’t be a pussy.” and this is hoseok. He knows it from the loud laughter and the taunt evident on his voice. He is actually going to give hoseok hot sauce for three days straight- or gay. Yoongi doesn't know. His mind is very focused on ONE being in the entire room and that is Taehyung, who is looking at him all seductive, which what the fuck?
“Its really okay Yoongi hyung. You can kiss me.” Taehyung said making kissing sounds at the end and Yoongi just has had enough. Okay fine, he was gonna kiss taehyung. Tongue involved.
“Fine.” he says, dejected that he couldn’t get through even one of them despite putting his gay reputation on line. And then the crowd cheers. He hates his friends and the almost strangers. He is actually gonna start an application process to choose new friends. Tomorrow, after he kisses taehyung. Tongue involved.
And oh my god tongue involved. Now, not to toot his own horn but Yoongi was a great kisser. He was great at anything that involved his mouth and tongue. If you know, you know. If you don’t, bless you my pure child.
Moving on from the blessings, he was a great kisser but he has never kissed anyone straight. Like he said, he respects people’s boundaries and kissing someone who blatantly said they were straight is not respecting boundaries so Yoongi is a little worried and a whole lot nervous. And he has different reasons on that, lets go with pointers.
1)Taehyung is actually Yoongi’s dream guy and from what he has learnt so far, he is a great guy. He doesn't want to mess whatever he has with him. At the very least, he wants to stay as friends so his future relationship have some reference to follow or something.
2)He is going to take Taehyung’s first guy kiss, which * G A Y * but also he wants to make sure he doesn't scare the poor kid off if he ever wants to explore his sexuality cause again, he swears Taehyung could be a bisexual icon.
3)Given Yoongi has kissed many guys, no one has been this good looking and Yoongi is a little scared, which is not to say he is pussy, he is just gay panicking which is okay because that’s still far from straight.

4)He doesn't know if he will be able to stop kissing Taehyung after he starts but you didn’t hear it from him.
Anyway, he still gets up from his seat and walks over to where Taehyung is seated. The guy, in all honesty is fine. Like really hot, could totally take Yoongi out and manhandle him. Would definitely let Taehyung manhandle him 10/10. And even though Taehyung is younger than him, he is taller and somehow more built. Yoongi really hope his brain knows he needs to stop after some five seconds.
He puts his hand on either side of taehyung’s cheeks and slowly leans down as he sits on his lap, his leg around the youngers torso. A peck. A small swift peck and then another and then another. Funnily enough, it is Taehyung who joins their lips together for a kiss, his hand on back of Yoongi’s neck, pulling them closer, his other hand around Yoongi back for support. And then its clashing of teeth, intertwining of tongue and a fight for dominance which Yoongi loses.
But it goes on and Yoongi is starting lose his breath over, meaning its been a lot longer than some five seconds and that he needs to break it up. But Taehyung is kissing him so softly, coaxing and firm and Yoongi is tempted to moan in his mouth. And Yoongi does, a small moan escaping his mouth and Taehyung drowns it out, Yoongi feels a little dizzy. He can taste the wine that Taehyung had been recently having, and Yoongi is not too much for wine but it taste sweet, addictive and just so delicious; yoongi is willing to drown himself on wine if it always tastes like this.
It goes on for a while longer, Yoongi savouring every last bit of taehyung before breaking the kiss. Not willingly, more so because of oxygen, or the lack of. He inhales the air, his lungs burning as hot as his face, all shades of pink and Yoongi knows he’s put on a show. The hard, heated gaze of his friends making it almost impossible to not to feel small. And so he silently gets up from taehyung’s lap and proceeds to leave the room.
He doesn't hear the small whisper coming from his dare-kissing partner. “Maybe, I am not straight.”
And while Yoongi might not have heard the whisper, all the others did. And considering that everyone was a little shocked, somewhat turned on and high key thirsting over Yoongi, everyone whipped their head towards taehyung.
The first one to break silence being hoseok “I knew it. Yoongi is a gay awakening god!”
No one disagrees.

After searching high and low, all over Hoseok’s house, Taehyung finally finds Yoongi in the terrace.
He doesn't know how to break the silence so he just stands next to yoongi in hope of Yoongi breaking the ice. Yoongi does “I am sorry about that.” and taehyung really wishes he had broken the ice cause what was Yoongi sorry about?
About being the best kiss Taehyung has ever had and probably ever will? Or about the fact that Taehyung was way too eager to kiss Yoongi? Or about the fact that Yoongi is his gay awakening?
And really what hoseok said was true. Yoongi with his pretty pink pouty lips and small soft frame, while pale skin that looks like it would bruise so easily and cute little button nose, his dumpling cheeks and rare gummy smiles and just Yoongi; He would be everyone’s gay awakening. He can still hear the jealous whines from his friends and all the “I didn’t expect that! I would have asked him to kiss me if this was what it was.”, “Dude, he was my Gay awakening as well but I never got to kiss him, this is honestly unfair.”and “Universe has her favorite child and its Kim Taehyung.”
And taehyung agreed to the final one. He might have used some serious amount of his luck to even have kissed Yoongi, and to be standing next to him right now. And Taehyung right now, is a little bashful, some what proud but also a whole lot of just Yoongi Yoongi Yoongi.
“I am actually glad for what happened though.” taehyung finally speaks out “I know you didn’t hear it but I might not be as straight as I once thought and this is completely not your problem and I don’t want you to burden with this but all I am saying is-” Taehyung’s mouth has a brain of its own and now it cant stop rambling “You don’t have to be sorry. I was a total consenting adult and if you're worried about others, they are just jealous that I got to kiss you and-”
“Taehyung-ah.”
And silence.
“What I mean to say is you don’t have to be sorry about kissing me if you feel bad about it…” Taehyung finally breathes out and then… It hits him. maybe he is not sorry cause he feels bad but he is sorry cause he is regretting kissing taehyung and doesn't like taehyung and oh god Taehyung is gonna cry if Yoongi doesn't want to be friends with him. He cannot breath.
“I don’t feel bad about kissing you.” he can breathe. “I am just sorry for… putting on a show in front of others, especially since it was your first kiss and I don’t… I am sorry if you felt like I over kissed…if that's a word.”
And Yoongi looks incredibly endearing.
“You didn’t. I do feel like the kiss ended early however.”
And taehyung has no idea where the courage is coming from, it might be the alcohol or it might be the high adrenaline, either way this is the only time he will get to say it and if He is really Universe’s favorite child, now is the time to show that.
“You can totally reject me cause I know its a lot of work to be with me, especially since I will be exploring more of myself… but if you would like… would you- what I meant to say is…”
“Go on..” and yoongi with twinkling eyes, soft voice and encouraging nod makes everything better. Taehyung is really falling for him fast, its a little scary.
“I was just wondering if you would like to go out on a date. And I know till like an hour ago, I was proclaiming I was straight and I am not really sure about my sexuality as a whole right now but.. yeah.”
Taehyung really hope he sounds sincere and not like some asshole who is asking the other person out without being sure of their decision. And while that's somewhat exactly what Taehyung is doing, he is more than sure about Min Yoongi.
And Yoongi smiles, a rare gummy smile with blush high on his cheeks and a slight nod.

““Baby, Jimin and the others are coming! Please make sure that you hide the nice cushion cover. And also hide our strawberry especially all the ripe ones.”
“Wait. Why are they coming today?”
“Cause they said that they miss me.”
And taehyung looks at Yoongi with his eyebrow raised cause… what?
“And also they said I was not a pussy and that I am 100% not straight.” Yoongi mumbles.
Ahh… there it is.
“Was it Jimin who said that” Taehyung asks taking out the fluffy cushion covers.
He gets a nod and a small mention of “and Hoseok.” and taehyung is gonna make sure he kisses Yoongi senseless infront of these people. The constant PDA for three years is not enough for their friends to back off and Taehyung is gonna make very sure that all his friends know that Yoongi is gay, taehyung is bi and both of them are very much in love with each other.
