Inside a hotel room in New York is a young woman cradling a crying baby. In this same room is a man with blonde hair and a scar on his face who is doing his best to start crying.
Just then a knock is heard at the hotel room door, the man cautiously answers the door with a knife in his left hand.
"Who is it what do you want"? "It is I master Tonpetty Speedwagon-san, accompanying me is Straizo". Speedwagon opened the door and was relieved to see it was his monk Hamon wielding allies.
"Oh blimey, it does my heart good to see both of ya unharmed"! Speedwagon said hugging the two monks. Tonpetty and Straizo both entered the room, Speedwagon poked his head out the door to check if they were followed. After seeing if the coast was clear the man closed the door and went inside.
Master Tonpetty grabbed a chair and sat in front, where the woman can look at him.
"Please forgive me Erina chan, I am sorry that this is how we should meet again, I need.
"What was Johnathan exactly, I mean what manner or darkness did he get involved in to have someone as vile as DIO take him from me". Tonpetty turned to Sppedwagon who is standing by the windowsill.
"So, you haven't told her, that's fine Speedwagon-kun I will carry this as it should be".
"Ms. Pendelton, no Ms. Joestar what I am about to tell you will change you and because of it you must educate the next generation in this as well, so tell me are you prepared to know the truth"?
Erina moved from her spot and put the child down in the crib next to her bed. She then returned to her seat and stared into Master Tonpetty eyes
"Yes, I am ready for the truth now".
(Yes, his death has hardened this woman, but it has also made her inner strength rise I see why you chose her Johnathan). said Master Tonpetty in his mind.
So, the Hamon master told Erina of how he met Baron Zeppeli and how through him they found his craft destined enemy. The stone mask and that in finding that changed the destiny of the Joestar family drastically. From there Speedwagon took over the story and told Erina the truth of what happened at the mansion and the battle they had against Dio and his zombie minions.
Erina's hands were shaking, the woman is on the verge of tears. However, she holds them back and composes herself.
"Now tell us all what exactly transpired on the ship Ms. Joestar"?
With those words, Erina explained how here happily ever after turned into a hellish nightmare. How the man she loved was stolen from her, by a man that she despised with her every being. In the end, when she told the three men of his daring sacrifice and heroism they grew sad.
"Damnit, damnit, god damnit it all to hell". Speedwagon said gripping his pants.
"I, I should have been there he needed me to be and I wasn't in any way". "I should have been with you to protect both of you, forgive me Erina-san". Speedwagon said doing his best to hold back his tears, but the water flowed down his face anyway.
"No the blame falls onto me if anything I should have been more cautious". said, Master Tonpetty
"I think we all share the blame in this, that night our losses were so great we were overcome with joy to be done, Dio and his ilk". said Straizo with his head hung low. "But to think DIO would sneak and infect the entire ship just to get close to JoJo only for my best mate to finally put an end to him". said Speedwagon.
"In essence, Dio did not know the full scope of his abilities, however, we did not know either to think the man would appear as a head". Master Tonpetty surged from the chair, making the furniture fall over, his fist clenched.
"Speedwagon from what you've told me about him, truly Dio was indeed a monster no a devil who should have never even known of the existence of the mask, I admit part of me is happy to have him gone but to lose Johnathan Joestar".
"The world has lost a champion, prodigy that appears once every 100 years it may never recover from". "Master if I may speak, I believe we need to go forth into the world and check for any other remnants of DIO and the stone mask".
"Yes, Straizo you are right Hamon users we must come to the light to protect the dark, that may return to extinguish life". "Straizo return to the order tell our monks to go out into the world pass on their teaching to only one of their children". "Tell them of the stone mask and the chaos it can bring, inform them to stop it if they find any remnants". said Master Tonpetty.
"Thank you, master, I understand, now what do we do about the child"?
"Which one Strazio"?
The three-man wide eye looked toward Erina at the statement that was made.
"Erina-san wait are you certain that you are with a child from Johnathan"?
"Yes that hasn't come in a while and things are changing in me as well". Master Tonpetty chuckled at the revelation and then smiled.
"Hamon is life energy, seems Johntahns life has given form to a new one a blessing in its own right".
Ms. Joestar.
"Yes, Mr. Tonpetty"?
"I would like for Straizo to take the girl to our order and train her in the use of Hamon, raising two children as a single mother will not be easy".
"Why is it that I can't imagine your just doing this out of the goodness of your heart"? "That is half correct I also fear that the child may have trauma that may resurface later, I believe that it would be prudent for someone who knows the threat to calm and ease the child".
"Fine however once she reaches the age of 12 I would like for her to be with me, Johnathan and me met around the time want these children to know of one another."
"Who knows maybe the will fall in love or, support each other as Speedwagon and Johnathan did for one another".
"If that is your wish, Erina Pendelton, I will raise her as my own but even after she is relinquished into your care I will try to be in her life". said Straizo.
"I certainly would very much hope so".
"Hey, hey now don't go forgetting about me now"!
"Never in a million years Speedwagon-kun". said Master Tonpetty
"I'll find work here in America to provide for you and the little tyke while you're here in America it will be hard but all I need is guts".
"Ms. Joestar if you don't mind I have rented out the room along with the room across the hallway for the next two months for us to stay in".
"Wow Tonpetty how'd you manage that I thought you monks don't have any money"? said Speedwagon.
"Of course I do not have any checks or paper, however, I do have a few a golden cat statue so the concierge was more than sufficient, if you need anything Ms. Joestar I am here across the way".
"Thank you all of you, thank you, just thank you all so much".
Erina Joestar began to cry hide her tears in her hands. The tears both of relief and sadness, she was blessed to have such amazing strong people caring and watching over her. It hurt that she found the after losing JoJo she wanted to see him again.
In many ways, Erina would see Johnathan in her son, grandson, and finally on her homecoming when she went into her final sleep.
