Work Text:

"Here you go, Kim-ssi." Jimin says, handing over the older lady her order of petunias and pansies with a beautiful service smile that he has honed and perfected over the years. The order itself wasn't necessarily an uncommon order, since petunias can serve as the backdrop of the colorful pansies.

"Have you thought about my offer at all dear?" She asks him. He already knew what she was referring to, and honestly...he is so glad that he had mastered his service smile.

"I have Kim-ssi, but like I said the last time you brought it up, I'm already in a relationship and very happy with them." He says, keeping the smile on his face.

"Ah~ I understand. I just wish to have a son-in-law like you. You are so kind and wonderful, have a stable job, and your looks would help provide for some beautiful grandbabies for me." She says with a forlorn sigh. “Well, forbid it to happen, but if by chance you become single and wish to seek out my precious Seijoo, then you know how to reach me.”

"Yes, I will." Jimin says, keeping his tone very polite and customer friendly, even though he knew for a fact that he would never reach out to her. Even if he was interested, he couldn't go through the mother. It made it feel more like a...transaction or something. In a relationship, he liked it to be organic and natural. Or maybe he's just biased because that's how he ended up in his current relationship.

Either way, like he told her; he is in a happy, healthy relationship and doesn't plan on it ending anytime soon. He truly loves and cares for his partner, and he fully believes that they feel the same for him.

He feels like they are two peas in a pod and fit together well in his opinion. His partner is extremely funny and always trying to cheer up and brighten the mood. They are so humble and kind, always looking out for others. They are touchy-feeling in their affection just like himself, which works out well in cuddles and hugs. Not to mention that they are amazing at cooking, just so happens to be the cherry on top.

Well...he supposes that the true cherry on top is their gorgeous looks. They are so ethereal, that they really deserve to be a model, or some kind of profession to really utilize their looks. Though, honestly, their profession right now...it's super appealing and sexy.

He wishes he could just spend all his time with his partner. They make him so happy, it almost hurts sometimes. As much as he wishes to, he needs to focus back on his work. He has just a few hours of work left before he gets to go home to meet his beloved.

Just a few more hours. He repeats like a mantra. He does love his job, loves working with flowers. Some days are just a little harder than others. He just needs a little recharge from them when he gets home.

He gets through the day, selling a few more arrangements. He waters the plants that need it, repots some plants, along with some other things on his daily checklist before he closes up for the day. After he double checks to make sure that everything is done and ready to be closed for the day, he locks the door.

Jimin goes ahead and takes the 5:45pm train to get home, which is just about a 15 minute trip. Once he gets home, he opens the already unlocked door. Seems that they are  already home. He feels his heartbeat pick up in excitement to see them after the long day that he has had.

"Jinnie, I'm home." He calls out as he enters their shared apartment. He bends down and takes off his shoes and slips on his indoor slippers. He looks up and still doesn't see the sight of his significant other, and they haven't called out yet either. "Jinnie?" He calls out again.

"Ah, sorry! I was in the back doing a load of laundry. Welcome home, baby." He finally hears back and then sees them turn the corner. They are wearing purple sweatpants and a matching purple, hooded sweatshirt. Their dark black hair a messy mop over their forehead.

With indoor shoes now on, he felt completely free to run and jump onto his lover in an affection glomp. They automatically wrap their arms around him to help support the extra added weight, though they do take a few stumbling steps before steadying themselves. "Jinnie!~ I missed you today, I wish I could have stayed home with you." He pouts.

Jin chuckles, "While that would be nice in theory, we wouldn't have gotten any work done."

He moans, "You know that's not true, I would have helped."

Jin just shakes his head, "Baby, I love you. I truly do, but we both know that you are the worst at keeping things tidy and clean."

He pouts his bottom lip out, "How can you say that about me. I thought you loved me?"

"I can say it because I know and love you." Jin drops his supporting arms, making sure that he lands on the floor safely before patting his butt. "Come on, you're home just in time to help with folding the clothes."

That actually does bring a whine from his throat, laundry was the one chore that he hated doing. He wasn't sure what the reason was exactly. Maybe it was due to the fact that the clothes were either heavy with water that ended up hurting his arms when it was time to put them in the dryer, or that the clothes coming out of the dryer were oppressively hot and smothering.

He follows Jin to the laundry room and helps with the folding anyway. Even though he had been at work all day, he knew that Jin had also been working, doing chores around the home. That was a part of what makes a good relationship. Give and take. Helping each other out.

After they get the laundry done, Jin pulls him aside. "Aw, baby, I just realized why you were in a bad mood. I forgot your Welcome Home Kiss." Jin says, bringing him closer before leaning down to place an intimate kiss on his lips. "Welcome home baby." He says again.

He hums in contentment, feeling better with having the kiss. "Yes, I'm home." He says, "Though to make up for the atrocity of not giving me my kiss right away, I'm going to need more kisses." He playfully demands with a pleased smile.

"Oh really? Well, I suppose you're right." Jin smiles, playing along. He leans down once more to place another kiss on the other's lips. What started out as a sweet peck starts to turn into a little more intimate as the two start to move their lips against each other.

After a few moments, Jimin breaks the kiss, "Now I feel officially welcomed home." He says with a minxy smile as Jin continues to look at his lips as they lick their own. As if wanting to savor the taste of his lips. He hums, "So, what's for dinner?"

"Ah~ I made some bibimbap, bulgogi, and kimchi." Jin lists off, and Jimin feels his mouth watering at each item.

"What's the occasion?" Jimin asks, curious about the reason for such wonderful food.

"No reason, just wanted to make it since we haven't had it in a while." They say, waving it off. He wasn't quite sure if he completely bought it, but he wasn't going to turn down these amazing dishes. Besides, Jin is right, they haven't had these in a while. It would be a nice treat.

Together they set the table and set down to start eating. It was delicious as always, but that's to be expected coming from his Jinnie. They are an amazing cook and there has never been a bad meal that has come from his hands.

After scarfing down his meal, he looks over to see that Jin has only eaten about half of his serving. Which knowing Jin, is a cause for worry. "Jinnie, are you feeling okay?" He asks, eyeing them to see if he can tell a visible affliction.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Jin says, but Jimin picks up the unsteadiness of his voice.

"You don't look well love, and besides, you have hardly touched your food." He pushes away from the table and gets closer to Jin, placing his hand on his forehead. "You do feel a little warm. You are sure you are feeling well?" Concern flooding his system and contorting his face.

"I...I do feel a little under the weather, but I'm sure I'm just tired. Nothing to worry your pretty little head about." Jin says, trying to placate his love.

"Under the weather?! Are you sure you're okay?" Jimin asks, his worry and anxiety jumping up when they admit to not feeling okay.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Seriously, I'm sure with a good night's rest I will be good as new." Jin promises.

The infamous pout returns, "You better be right. I don't want you getting sick." Jin's right hand reaches up and cups Jimin's cheek, rubbing his thumb gently over the soft skin.

"I'm not." Jin goes ahead and stands up, and together the two of them work on storing away the food and cleaning up the kitchen. After that they sit and watch Train to Busan. Even though they both were a little scared of horror and were sometimes easily scared of stuff, they liked to watch one horror movie a month, just to have fun. Plus, it allowed for extra cuddling during the extra scary parts.

They both end up in bed, after having brushed their teeth and changed into more appropriate and comfortable attire for sleeping. Jimin is the big spoon, snuggling up and resting his head against the other's broad shoulders. To others it might seem a little comical, with the size difference between the two, but this is what they prefer. Jimin loves being the big spoon and being the cuddler, while Jin likes to be held.

It was something that they were actually self conscious of before, feeling embarrassed to share the information when they first got together with Jimin. They were talking about how a big , broad-shoulder man, with tattoos--with the association it has with being tough, should be the one to hold the other. Not the other way around where they liked to be held.

However, when Jin expressed these thoughts, Jimin very kindly explained how stupid and wrong those stereotypical thoughts were. That the way Jin looks doesn't have anything to do with what they prefer. It did take a little bit of time and sweet convincing, but eventually, Jin realized that Jimin was right. Who gives a fuck with society thought he should like and not like. I mean they had already realized that they were wrong about them liking women and how gender works.

Jimin wakes up in the morning and starts preparing for work, taking a shower, eating some leftovers from last night, and brushing his teeth. He heads back into the shared bedroom to get dressed and sees that Jin is still sleeping, which...isn't necessarily unusual. They do sleep in sometimes just depending on when their first appointment is. He finishes getting dressed and walks over to their side of the bed, leans down and presses a kiss to their forehead. He does notice that the temperature of their forehead is still a little warm. Which isn't usual, stay rolled up, cuddling in bed does cause one's body heat to rise. But he can't help being a little worried after last night.

Jin groans. "Morning Jinnie, I'm heading out. How do you feel?." Jimin asks, smoothing their hair back from their forehead. He receives a muffled "Tired," which causes him to giggle. He places one more kiss on his forehead. "Let me know if you need anything from me, okay?" He receives another grunt, and he takes that as his queue to leave them be.

It is almost noon when Jimin receives a text message from Jin.

jinnie<3: sick sorry

Jimin feels his stomach and heart drop. He quickly searches for his coworker, Jiyoo, and asks her to help cover for him after explaining the situation. He catches the first train he can, immediately, tapping his foot as he waits, unrealistically, for the train to hurry up.

It only hits him to text Jin that he was heading home right away. He probably should have, but when he had received the text all rational thought had left his head. The only thing that was consuming was to get home so that he could help Jin.

He gets home and quickly unlocks the door from when he had locked it this morning leaving out for the day. "Jinnie?" He asks out, worry consuming his voice as quickly tries to switch out his shoes. He didn't hear their voice, but he did hear some coughing coming from deeper into the house.

With his indoor shoes barely hanging on, he rushes down the hall to look for Jin and finds them in their bedroom still. They look up at him when he reaches the doorway of the room, and after another small bout of coughing he rasps out, "This is what I was worried about. Why are you home?"

Rushing towards their side he answers with his own question, "What do you mean what am I doing home? I'm home to check on you."

"I hope it's just to check in. You better go back to work after this, this isn't anything serious." Jin says, squinting his eyes and Jimin couldn't tell if they were trying to be threatening or if they were having trouble seeing through their blurry vision.

Jimin smiles softly, "I know that silly, Jiyoo is just covering for me until I get back. I wanted to check to see how you're doing. See if you have gotten anything in your stomach and if you have taken any medicine to help start feeling better."

"I...I've taken some cough medicine and some pain reliever." They take a breath, "Haven't gotten food. Body hurts." Jimin frowns. He has taken note of Jin's sweaty hair and reaches out to move the bangs aside, feeling the skin directly.

He lets out a gasp at how warm they feel. "You're burning up, Jinnie. Hang on, let me go get a thermometer real quick." He waits one second for Jin to process the statement before he leaves and heads to the medicine cabinet located in the kitchen. He grabs the thermometer and then quickly heads back to the bedroom. "Here you go, open up." He places the thermometer in Jin's open mouth, waiting for it to take the reading.

They both sit in silence as they wait for the beep, and when it does go off signaling that it was done, he removes it from Jin's mouth. "Oh my gosh, 39 degrees Celsius. You have a fever, Jinnie. I wonder if you have the flu or something. With this fever, the body aches, the coughing, it makes sense." He takes notes of Jin's sweaty hair once more and realizes that his clothes must be soaked as much as his hair. "How about we get you into some fresh clothes huh? Would that help you feel a little better?" He asks them.

Jin whines, "Yes, but. I also feel icky. Want shower." He says.

"We can do a shower if you want. If you don't know if your legs can support you though, we can do a bath too. What do you think?" Jimin proposes the two options. Jin is quiet for a few moments, whether thinking or just tired, he couldn't be sure. Either way, he allows Jin the time that they need, not rushing them for an answer.

"Bath." Jin says, though they sound a little put out.

"Hey, nothing wrong with a bath. I'll go start it up, get some nice smelling bubbles and everything." Jimin says, getting up to do just that. He gets to the bathroom and checks to see what they have in the way of scencies smell goods. Looks like they have lavender, coconut milk, and rosemary mint. He goes with coconut milk and pours some into the tub under the running spout that he had turned on.

Once he checks the temperature and it has filled the tub enough, he stops the water. He goes and gets Jin, helping them stand up and get to the bathroom. He works together with Jin to get their clothes up and get into the bubble bath safely.

"How does that feel? Nice?" He asks them.

Jin releases a long sigh, "Very. Thank you." They say, managing a tired smile on his face.

"Just relax~ Enjoy the water, bubbles, and scent." He says, waving his hand through the water and bubbles. He lets Jin enjoy the water for a few minutes before he grabs a washing cloth and wets it, handing it over to Jin. Jin does as much as he can before his arms start to throb and he has to hand it over to Jimin to help him finish up the task.

Once they are cleaned up and feeling refreshed, Jimin helps them stand back up. Jimin drains the tub and then proceeds to help dry Jin off. "Ah! I forgot to get some clothes for you! Hang on just one second and I will go get some real quick. It won't take more than 30 seconds." It seems that the bath had given Jin some renewed energy as they nod their head and continue to dry off the rest of their body.

Jimin rushes across the hall and grabs a pair of blue sweat shorts, a random pair of boxers, and a white tee shirt. Once those are in hand, he goes back across to meet Jin in the bathroom. Looks like they have finished drying off because the towel was hanging off of a hook to dry.

After Jin is dressed, they head back to the shared bed. "Okay. Bath, done. How about some food. How do you feel, do you think you can stomach something?" He asks Jin.

"I do feel a little hungry, but I don't really know what sounds good." They say with a little bit of a pout, feeling at a loss and still feeling ache and overall bad still.

"Let's just start off with some rice, then?" Jimin suggests, checking to see if that sounds good to Jin who agrees. After Jimin leaves the room to head to the kitchen, he checks the time on his phone and sees that he has already been gone from the shop for almost 45 minutes. He needs to hurry, he doesn't want to leave Jiyoo alone for too long. He goes ahead and sends her an update on where he is and that he is getting closer to heading back.

He gets into the kitchen and cooks some rice, not too much, just enough for about 2 and a half servings, just in case Jin would want some more. He scoops some out into a bowl to cool down and prepares a drink of just simple water for Jin in order to not dehydrate from sweating so much.

He brings it into the bedroom and sets it down for Jin, "Hang on, let me go get some medicine for you. You can take it while you eat the food, that way it's not sitting on an empty stomach and make it more upset than it probably already is."

He watches as Jin eats some of the food, a few small testing bites to see how their stomach handles it. After waiting a few minutes, they take some more bites and also take the medicine that Jimin had brought. He actually finishes the small serving that Jimin had brought him. "Do you want a little more?" He asks them.

"I think I want to wait and see how I handle this. I just don't want to waste the food that you cooked." Jin explains.

"Okay. Well, how are you feeling now?"

"I'm feeling better with you here." Jin says, having just enough energy to still wink. "My body is still a little sore, but the bath really did help."

Jimin smiles, "I'm glad to hear that. Let me take your temperature real quick." They retake the temperature, this time with it reading 38.8. "Well, it is a little lower, which is a good sign I suppose. I need to go ahead and get going, don't want to leave Jiyoo along for too long." Jimin sighs, not wanting to leave Jin but also knowing that he has to get back to work.

"Wait." Jin says, making Jimin stop from getting up. "Have you eaten yet? Please don't leave before you eat." Jin pleads, with a knowing glint in his eyes, seeming to already know the answer.

"I..." Jimin smiles gently at Jin, grateful for the reminder. "Thank you Jinnie. I had forgotten. I'll get some of the rice I made. I'll be back in a few hours from work for the rest of the day and I'll be back to check in on you. Please make sure to take some more pain reliever or cough medicine in a few hours if you need some. The next dose for the fever won't be until I get back home. I will go ahead and put the rice in the fridge if you want to some later before I'm back home." He leans over and kisses them on the forehead gently, letting his lips linger. "I love you."

"Love you too." Jin says, their lips pouting out as if to send him their own kiss. Jimin blows one last kiss to Jin and then closes the door to the room in case Jin wants to fall back asleep. He goes into the kitchen and packs himself a serving of rice.

While it wasn't the healthy meal to just eat rice by itself, he didn't feel like he had time to make anything to go with it. He starts to pack up the leftovers to put it into the fridge so it wouldn't go bad. That's when he sees the leftover food from last night's meal. Of course! He could just have that for lunch. He packs some kimchi and bulgogi that he can have with his rice and then heads out the door to catch the next train.

While he is at the station waiting for the next train, he messages Jiyoo that he is on his way back and should be at the shop in about 25 minutes or so. When he does get back to the shop, he hugs and thanks Jiyoo once more who only waves it away.

"It's fine, it's been quiet while you were gone." She says, but then immediately gasps, covering her mouth. "Oh no, I said the q-word on accident."

Jimin knew what she meant. In every profession, when the q-word has been said, it starts to get busy right after that. Which he’s actually happy for. He’s worried that if it isn’t busy enough, his mind would be too preoccupied with thoughts and worries for Jin and how they are doing. If it's busy, that will help distract him, which is exactly what happens. The rest of the day passes by quickly, making Jimin grateful.

Before the two of them go home, they go through the closing procedures. They water the necessary plants, repotting what needs to be potted, and just check on the plants to make sure none of them are getting too warm or cold, which would cause wilting. After that is taken care of, Jimin and Jiyoo exchange goodbyes with each other before heading to their respective area. Jimin to the train station and Jiyoo in the opposite direction since she actually lives close by.

When Jimin gets home, he switches out his shoes before going to check in on Jin. When he reaches the bedroom, the door is already open, which signals that Jin has been out of the room, which can be good or bad. He sees that even though Jin is still in bed, they are sitting upright and seem to be scrolling on their phone.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" He asks them.

"Still like shit, but I'm okay I guess. All the medicine and sleep has seemed to help a lot."

"Did you get any more food?"

They shake their head, "No. I ended up falling asleep again after you left and I just woke up about 30 minutes ago. I've just been on my phone since then, trying to check in on everything."

Jimin hums in understanding, "Well, do you want to go ahead and get another serving of rice?" He asks and when he receives a nod he says, "Okay hang on and I'll go heat some up."

They spend the rest of the evening together, Jimin having brought a laptop into the room so that they can watch some shows together. Jin takes another round of medicine as well and they take their temperature one last time before they both go to sleep, with it reading 38.5 Celsius.

When Jimin wakes up in the morning he goes ahead and wakes Jin up. Normally he would allow for them to sleep in and get ready on their own, but since they both weren't aware if Jin was fully okay or not, he would have to wake them up and check their temperature.

"Jinnie? Wake up." He gently whispers while shaking Jin's shoulder. Once they roused, Jimin explained what was going on, "We need to check your temperature to see how you're doing. How are you feeling?" He asks, as he starts to prepare the thermometer.

"I feel sleepy." Jin mumbled, not very excited about being woken up. "But I think I feel better? It's hard to tell since the sleep fog is overtaking all my senses."

"I know. I'm sorry, but we need to check real quick, yeah? Then you can go back to bed afterwards if you like." Jimin offers. Jin just nods his head while he pouts out his lower lip. "Aww, my poor baby. Open up for me." Jimin playfully teases. Once it goes off with the familiar beep, he checks to see that it's 38.4 degrees. "Hmm, looks like you're still a little warm. You probably need to stay home today too. I'll try to take a little longer lunch so I come check in on you."

"Jimin-ah, I love you and I appreciate you. But please understand I'm not dying. I'm going to be fine. I can heat up some leftovers when I'm hungry and take medicine. Just focus on work and I'll focus on getting better hmm?" Jin proposes with a teasing smile.

"Okay, Okay. You're right. Well, I'll try and hold up my end of the deal and you try and do the same. The computer is next to the bed if you want to watch something while I'm gone."

"Okay, have a good day at work. Love you." Jin says from the bed as Jimin leaves the room to head out for the day.

When he gets to the shop, he greets Jiyoo and together they get to work. There are a few calls that come in the morning, nothing too overwhelming besides at one point where two calls come in at once. They have a few calls that are just regular bouquet orders and then they have two that are “special”. By that, they ordered an in house card to be attached with the flowers. Some simple messages such as I love you, Happy Anniversary, Congratulations, etc.

However, by the afternoon it has started to slow down. This works out for Jimin as he tells Jiyoo that he is going to head home for lunch so he can knock out two birds with one stone by checking in on Jin as well while he is there.

When he visits Jin, he finds that Jin is feeling better, the fever is already down to 37.8 and that besides a slight muscle ache in his arms and legs, he is feeling a lot better. They go ahead and heat up some of the bulgogi, kimchi, and Jimin went ahead and cooked some fresh vegetables to go with it. Together they enjoy the meal together since Jin's taste has finally come back to them.

Jin shares that they have mostly been sleeping throughout the morning, but that they believe it has paid off greatly since they are feeling so much better. So much better in fact, that they believe that they will be able to go back to work tomorrow.

They ask about Jimin's day and so he tells them about the different orders that he had to make together. One of pansies and peonies, one of lilies, roses, and gerberas, and one of chrysanthemums, roses, lilies, and snapdragons. He mentions how it started to slow down which is why he was able to go home for lunch to check in with Jin.

With Jin feeling better and able to take care of themself a little easier due to not feeling as horrendous as they were, Jimin didn't have a reason to stay for long. He goes away and presses a kiss to Jin's cheek and says bye so he can head back to work.

The rest of the day goes a little slower than Jimin would have liked but he didn't mind as much as he would have yesterday since he knew that Jin is recovering pretty well. When the day ends and he ends up back home, he finds that Jin is out of the bedroom and is on the couch in the living room. From the paused scene on the television, it looked like he was in the middle of watching White Night .

"Hey Jinnie, glad to see you out of the bedroom." He greets them with a smile and a kiss on the cheek.

"Welcome home." They greet back, "Yeah, I'm so glad I'm feeling better. I swear I felt like I was dying at one point. Had a major headache, chills, body aches-- ugh . Pretty sure that I'm coming out of it. I took my temperature a little earlier actually, about an hour ago and my fever is completely gone. Still took some pain reliever just in case, but I feel pretty much good as new." Jin says, which causes Jimin to smile so wide at the good news that he can't see Jin for a second.

"Ah~ I'm so happy to hear that!" He settles down next to Jin on the couch. They end up finishing the White Night episode that Jin was one before breaking for food and then they watch another three before they head to bed.

When Jimin wakes up in the morning, he sees that Jin was already awake. "Good morning Jinnie." He greets with a kiss. "How did you sleep?" He asks them, looking at their body language and face to see if he can determine how they are feeling.

"I slept like a rock. Which I'm surprised at actually, since I've been sleeping so much the last few days." Jin says. "But, I'm going to get ready so I can head into work. Got an appointment at 11am."

Jimin brows furrow, "At 11? Then what are you doing awake right? It's only 7:30am." He says, worried that Jin actually wasn't feeling as good as they said they were.

"I know. I just have some errands I need to run before the appointment. I need to catch up on some things since I've been in bed for the last two days." They explain, which causes Jimin to make an "o" face as he learns the information.

"Well~ Mr. Busy Body here huh, just getting well and already on the move." Jimin teases with a smirk, "Don't have too much fun without me." Before getting up from the bed and starting his daily routine once more to get ready for work. Thankfully it’s Friday, so once they got through today, he would have the week off. Unfortunately, the same wasn't applied for Jin since they would work throughout the weekend.

He arrives at the shop and the day starts like every other. He gets a call in for an order that would be picked up at the end of the day when the customer would be back to pick them up. There was also a note that they wanted attached to the bouquet for the order. It seemed that they might have been the shop before because they knew what design and styles of cards that they had to choose from, going with a fairly simple one, with elegant gold swirls around the edges creating a nice border.

The customer said that the note for their significant other should be as follows: To my other half, we have been with each other for years now and while I want to believe that we still feel the same way for each other as we both did at the start; I know that it is only human nature for emotions and feelings to erode with passed time. I wish these flowers are just the start of us rekindling our love for each other. To the best years of our lives, my precious stars and moon.

Jimin smiles, and after completing the order, wishes the other good luck in their relationship. Soon, it was getting close to the end of the day and Jin walks through the door, surprising Jimin. "Jinnie? What are you doing here?" He asks them, giving them a kiss when they bend over the counter for Jimin to reach.

"What, I can't come visit you?" Jin dramatically gasps, "Are you cheating on me with Jiyoo?!" He covers his heart with his hand, and covers his eyes with his other.

"Ah, you caught us! We were going to run away together and elope!" JIyoo says, playing along, already used to Jin's ways and close with them. Jimin bursts out in laughter, not able to help himself with Jin playing around. He pushes against Jin's shoulder to get them to stop trying to calm his own laughter down so he can see what is going on.

When he is able to calm down his laughter, he shakes his head at Jiyoo and Jin. Those two together can be a dangerous combination sometimes.

Suddenly the door opens, and the three of them turn their heads towards the door to see who walked through the door. Jimin of course assumes that it is a potential customer, looks to be a male, since they walked into the flower shop, so he gets his game face one.

"Hello, can I help you?" He asks them with a professional smile. They don't immediately respond, looking around at flowers on display which is common, before they reach the counter where the three of them are. The guy's eyes pass from Jiyoo, to himself, before moving over to Jin and then back to Jiyoo and himself.

Jimin immediately realized what was fixing to happen when he noticed that their eyes had lowered just tracing and eyeing Jin's tattoos that cover his open arms.

"Is this guy bothering you two?" They ask, trying to subtly puff out their chest, which obviously didn't work since Jimin was able to see the action. His smile slipping off his face, he says, "No, he isn't." He forces his smile back on his face, stressing his next question, still making sure to keep a polite, professional tone though. "Is there anything we can help you with?"

"Uh..." They trail off, seemingly thrown off their tracks. Good , Jimin thought.

"If there isn't, I'm afraid we are going to have to ask you to leave so we can start closing the shop up." He says, keeping his smile on, though it has started to turn into more of a pleased smile.

"Wait! I, uh, I wanted to ask you something." They say directing it towards Jiyoo, They crossed the distance and got closer to the counter. "I, uh," they rub the back of their neck, "I was wondering if you were single or not--because, I was wanting to take you out--I mean if you want to." They said, stumbling over their own words, nervous.

"I'm sorry, but I'm already seeing someone." Jiyoo says with an apologetic smile on her face. Which Jimin knew was a lie, but he wasn't going to say anything and he knew that Jin wasn't going to say anything. It wasn't their place to, but also because this guy seemed to take things at face value easily and that can spell trouble sometimes.

After the guy left, the door was locked and the sign switched to closed. "Oh my god, I can't believe that just happened." Jiyoo says, covering her face, in shame, "I am so sorry, Jin." She apologizes.

"Nah, I'm used to it by now. Don't worry about it." Jimin frowns, "Yeah, but you shouldn't be, it's not fair."

"That's just how the world works, you know that. Humans can't help but to make observations and judgement when they see something." Jin says, and even though Jimin knew they were right, he was still upset.

"Doesn't make me happy."

"I never said that it did." Jin says, with a sober smile, knowing that this was a topic that Jimin would get emotional about if discussed for too long and in depth. "Come on, let's head out."

"Uh, right. Let me just help close up with Jiyoo real quick."

"Just go home you two, I can handle it." She says.

"I can't do that, I've been leaving you on your own so much this week. Besides, it's Friday. If we work together we can all work together and get out of here quicker." Jimin tries and pleads.

"Nope. Out. You two enjoy your weekend!"

Jimin sights, "Jiyoo. I owe you. "

"Buy me a free dinner then." She says with a grin to which Jimin agrees to.

Before they head out Jimin passes by the bouquet with the note that he had taken for the customer that was going to arrive at the end of the day. "Oh no! This customer never made it to pick this up." Jimin says, feeling bad. It was the weekend, there was no way that the flowers would make it. Jimin didn't want to assume and think too much into the situation, but the customer had put in the note that these flowers were just a first step in rekindling some love and here they would be for the weekend, not helping with the relationship.

"Hmm," Jin hums, hooking his chin over Jimin's shoulder while looking at the bouquet as well. "That's funny. I had placed an order, I wonder if my significant other received theirs." They say, like it's just an off-hand comment. It causes confusion to swim through Jimin's mind and body.

He turns around and looks up at Jin, "Wait, what do you mean?" He asks for clarification.

"I mean, that I hope you love the first gift of many." They say a smile slowly spreading across their face causing their cheeks to bunch up just the way that Jimin loves.

"You...place the order? For me? What....but how?" He asks, so many confusing thoughts running through his head. He knew that the voice he heard on the phone place the order was definitely not Jin, so how?

"I had my coworker place it for me." Jin says.

"Wait, isn't his name Jungkook?" Jimin asks.

"Yep!" Jin says, placing a kiss on his nose. "Now, come on I can explain on the way to the restaurant." Jimin's mouth falls open before Jin closes it with his finger. "Yes, I told you in the note right? I plan on doing quite a few things for our love to keep going strong forever because you are the love of my life and I couldn't live without you."
