Summary
Aurum Lavellan, First of the Clan Lavellan, Spy, Mage, and Hunter, has found herself in a situation far beyond her Clan's reckoning. There was so much for her to do, all at once, because of an explosion from nowhere, and while she has no loyalty to a Circle, to the Inquisition, or the Burned Woman, she...cannot bring herself let them -these people, this world - die. She is an Apostate by every meaning of the word, she has secrets that she holds tight to, and above all else, she wants to go home. She is more than their Inquisitor, more than their Herald, she is someone who loves and yearns and aches for things all her own.
But...ah, but it doesn't matter, you see? She has a world to save, a Breach to close, and so many other things to concern herself with that she does not quite have the time to bother with playing nice. Or playing fair. She wants to go home, wherever home may be, and no blond shemlen templar is going to distract her from that. Not at all.
