Xue Yang felt the water running through his body. It was warm and nice, but his journey was still far from over. However, as much as he was feeling happy, he still felt empty. He had felt it for a long time, and he did not understand why. There was nothing wrong.
Perhaps he needed to complete his mission to feel better. So he did, swimming against the current, while the water passed violently through his scales and fins. He sometimes felt weird because he kept thinking about something, but at the same time he couldn't remember it, giving him a feeling of pain, but happiness too.
Suddenly he saw something red in the water. In first place he thought it were flower petals. However it was blood. He then decided to follow it. Not far away, there was another fish, it was a very bright white. Xue yang realized that there was wound next to his head, which made him feel worried.
" Who did hurt you? " He asked, feeling weird cause this was not something he usually says.
" Don't worry! I will be fine soon. It's nothing. Thank you for your concern. "The other fish replied, kindly.
Normally, Xue Yang would simply ignore them and continue swimming, however, everytime he looked at the blood seeping and running through the waters, he felt guilty and desperate. So he insisted once more "You are crossing the Huang He, right? So I am. Let's go together, I can help you "
Still hesitating, the other fish agreed.
The two of them were very quiet while swimming together, but Xue Yang's heart was feeling so warm and beating so fast, he couldn't stop looking at the pretty white fish. He was getting anxious because he began to hear the sound of the waterfall, having the sensation he already knew what was going to happen in there. It was his destiny. It was his karma. But he was happy.
" I can't do this. My body is too weak. I will fail. Friend, please go without me. I don't deserve that, I am not good enough. I am weak. Please go ahead, you must continue! " Begged the white carp.
Xue Yang's heart broke when he heard that.
" I remember you " replied him.
He already knew what he must do. So he grabbed the other's fish fin and rushed against the water, persevering from one cataract to another. When they were next to the last one, Xue Yang launched the white fish over the waterfall's summit, using all his strengths and spirit.
The impact made him fell brutally into the water, however he could see Xiao XingChen reborn and shine in the form of a beautiful silver and white dragon.
"I don't regret nothing now" thought Xue Yang, while watching his lover ascending beautifully to the sky and blending among the starts. He was glad. He was finally happy.
All at once brightness took all the sky, and then Xue Yang heard "I forgive you. Please come with me. I can't stand another life without you. Please be with me, Xue Yang".
"Gaining freedom from destiny, starting all over again" The black carp said, while being dragged by his lover through the heavens.
