Once amaterasu won the battle against yami, she went to the celestial plane to cleanse it of evil. When she arrived she was met with the brush gods, who still resided in what area remained purified.
During the cleansing of the planes, something appeared to be happening with the brush gods, and that is that they are disappearing.
Sadly, the reason they are dissapearing is because there is ans unbalance of light and dark after the defeat of yami. So the brush gods had to experiment on how to fix this problem.
Yomigami came up with the idea to create children and transfer their powers to them. Thay all agreed and each brush god created a child in their image. After their creation, they divided their powers between themeselves and a balance was made.
But sadly, part of that balance comes from the darkness of their new foe akuro.
Amaterasu would gladly deal with him, but she had to finish with celestial plane too. So she aswell created a child, chibterasu.
Although younger and weaker than her mother, he was strong enough to face akuro. But he would not be able to finish him off himself.
So waka went and created a puppet in his image named kurow. He hated himself because of this, because he was going to send his child off to die. But he knew it was sadly for the best.
But there is still one thing that is unknown, and that is how kuni meet susano. Or well, how susano found him.
Kuni was actually created aswell. But not by the brush gods or amaterasu, but by some benevolent and unknown force that resides inside the cave of nagi.
Kuni was born with the power to help chibiterasu in his journey. But he did not know that, nor does he remember anything in his past. Because he does not have one.
But one things is certain, and that is that with the help of susano and kushi, he was raised to be a hero.
