There is something weird about seeing your own brother making out with one of your classmates which is somehow your friend and may or may not be a walking grenade ready to explode any moment as of now. Shoto would know, after all he's witnessing the very same thing as of now.
"T-Todoroki-kun?" Midoriya-kun whispers right next to him, the boy looking with wide eyes at the boys kissing in the middle of the kitchen.
Fear. That's all Shoto can see in those green eyes as of now– pure fear. They look just like that night when they did try to rescue Bakugou from the League of Villain and that villain showed up and nearly killed all the heroes. Wild times.
Talking about Bakugou, as of now he's holding onto Shoto's brother as if the life of the whole planet depends on it. Both of them have their eyes closed, a blessing for Shoto and Midoriya– Fuyumi would kill them all if Bakugou explodes the kitchen after no more than a week since moving into the new house.
"Let's go before they notice us." he whispers back, yet his body did not make a sign of actually moving out of place. For some reasons Shoto does have a hard time moving his attention away from the scene before them.
Midoriya-kun looks like sharing the same dilemma as him, if the lack of movement can be anything to go by. At this point Natsuo put his hands over Bakugou's thighs, putting their classmate's body over the kitchen's table.
For not even a second has either of them broken the kiss.
"Y-yes, we should t-totally leave while they are, um, b-busy!" Midoriya-kun exclaimed and that's when Shoto knew that there's no coming back from it.
Red eyes move in an instant towards them and Shoto feels for the first time in his entire life what people often call 'fear'. Midoriya-kun flinches the second those red eyes lay on his body, body trembling and making Shoto's mind associate it with an earthquake.
Neither of them did wait for their classmate to detonate. With moves that his old man would envy every Friday night Shoto did form a thick wall of ice between them and Bakugou, take hold of Midoriya-kun's hand and start running out of the house.
They can visit Fuyumi another time, Shoto concluded while praying that Midoriya-kun will survive another day after the whole thing. He should also buy her a gift as an apology for the wall of ice.
