"You're not an affectionate one are you?" Atsushi asked, as he and Akutagawa walked down the calming night, it hits different when it's midnight in the city, it's quiet and peaceful.
Another day, another mission completed, asses were kicked by the iconic duo, Shin Soukoku, they're killing it, quite literally.
"Doesn't matter. Your small talks are so boring, try better Jinko."
"At least I try," he gave the other man a shoulder nudge and a smirk and giggled after.
Akutagawa looked at Atsushi and god, he's so beautiful.
He's so gorgeous like this, Akutagawa can't believe he's been trying to kill this man.
He's beautiful.
"But seriously though.. how do you show affection to your sister then?" Atsushi looks like a confused cat. (he is)
"Gifts."
He gasps in disbelief, "No way."
Akutagawa just shrugged it off.
"Your partner wouldn't be happy with you."
"Are you not happy with me?"
It was quiet, "Oh.. N-no! I'm okay working with you! I meant like, your significant other," he looked adorable trying to look for words to use, "you know? like a g-girlfriend!!"
Silence, again.
"What if I want a boyfriend?"
"Hmm," Atsushi jokingly winks at him, "I could be your boyfriend."
"I'd like that." he looked at Atsushi as he said this, he's serious about wanting him as his boyfriend, and as always, Atsushi looks adorable when he's flustered.
"I'd say yes but you try to kill me all the time!" he lets out a groan, "You probably can't even hug a person! I'd be a clingy boyfriend you know!"
Atsushi looks cute when he's trying to hide his emotions, he walked a little bit faster than Akutagawa so he couldn't his red face.
Akutagawa thinks to himself, "Has he always been this cute?"
He shoves down the negative thoughts about the younger, which wasn't many to begin with, he knows to himself that he's not trying to kill him anymore, not when he feels like this.
Akutagawa picks up Atsushi's pace and pulls his wrists stopping him from walking faster.
"I'm serious, Jinko."
He gathered all his emotions and energy and hugs him.
Atsushi feels so small in his arms, he loves that feeling.
That feeling wouldn't last long, he's expecting the weretiger to pull away any second now, but he doesn't, he hugs him back instead, he could feel the jinko smiling.
He's so adorable in his arms like this.
He's actually trying to kill Akutagawa isn't he?
They stay like that for god knows how long, doesn't matter.
They feel safe around each others arms, Akutagawa would deny it, but Atsushi's helped him in so many ways, he works well with him, he likes being with him, he likes him.
"Am I lucky to be the first one you've hugged?" Atsushi looks up at Akutagawa he looks like a tiny kitten, considering he's not even that short compared to Akutagawa.
"No."
Atsushi pouts causing Akutagawa to kiss him on his forehead.
Atsushi mumbles on his words, "W-well someone's affectionate."
"I'm lucky to have you."
"You're so sappy!" Atsushi laughs at the sudden change of attitude.
"And you're so adorable."
They're both trying to kill each other here.
