Suspicious

Summary:

“Hey, you got a friend here.”

Taehyung’s words were aimed at him, just as his steps were getting closer. Frowning, Hoseok was about to ask when Taehyung suddenly chuckled again.

“You two are sus.”

(or, in which Hoseok met his fellow crewmate from Among Us game in a Halloween Party and started telling him about his big fat crush on his friend, Jimin)

Notes:

Hello this is my first work in English, I hope I didn't make many mistake here :>

Work Text:

For the first time in Hoseok's history to attend a party, he is late. The Kim brothers’ Halloween party had opened half an hour ago and Hoseok had just arrived now because the taxi driver he ordered was taking so long to reach his apartment. Getting lost was his excuse, but Hoseok, who didn’t want to listen to any other reasons, chose to stay silent during the ride. He didn’t even tip and darted out of the car as soon as he arrived in front of the Kim family’s home. This is why he prefers to ride on his motorcycle instead of using public transportation services. Though, with the clothes he was wearing right now, Hoseok might be in trouble before he even got to Seokjin’s house.

Once his steps passed through the gate, the artificial pumpkin decorations which carved and lighted inside were decorating the front yard. The sound of people could be heard from inside the house whose front door was wide open. Hoseok walked over there quickly, scanning everyone inside to find someone he knows. In particular, that person, whom he really wanted to meet in a Halloween themed costume. Maybe he would dress up as a vampire, or maybe a zombie. Or maybe a pirate like Taehyung who appeared to be talking loudly in the middle of the room, inviting the surrounding crowd to cheer on something—or someone.

“Hey, you got a friend here.”

Taehyung’s words were aimed at him, just as his steps were getting closer. Frowning, Hoseok was about to ask when Taehyung suddenly chuckled again.

“You two are sus.”

Inside the helmet he wore, Hoseok blinked. It was true—he was wearing a jumpsuit which he modified to look like an astronaut’s outfit. He also deliberately painted a used motorcycle helmet that matched his jumpsuit this morning. Hoseok was indeed wearing his own game character costume. Tonight, he turned into one of the crewmates in the game Among Us with green color—his favorite color.

Taehyung’s voice was no longer heard but the crowd around them seemed to be laughing, some even shouting, “Boo!” to tease him—with the intention of joking of course. Hoseok who still couldn’t understand what was going on then was startled when he saw people pulling over to show him something. Another crewmate, wearing a dark blue jumpsuit and yellow paper with the word “DUM” plastered  in front of the helmet glass he was wearing. The crewmate shrugged at him, which Hoseok took as a gesture to, “I don’t know what’s going on either.”

“How about we eject them to the storage? They both seem like they just killed someone.” Taehyung grinned as he said that. Now Hoseok got what Taehyung’s words mean. His outfit and the other crewmate both had artificial blood stained their jumpsuits—to create a creepy vibe that would fit the Halloween feel. However, seemed like the crowd were taking this matter a little seriously as entertainment. Quickly, they led Hoseok, and the unknown crewmate, to the end of the room, to a rather dark storage.

“Hey, Taehyung what do you mean—”

“The DJ's not coming yet, so please wait here. I'm tired of looking for things to entertain those people while they wait, so just pretend you guys accept this until the party really starts,” Taehyung whispered briskly while walking beside him. It looked like he didn’t recognize Hoseok because his helmet muffled his voice. While sighing softly and walking resignedly to the people who were pushing behind him, Hoseok let all these jokes happened. He glanced at the blue crewmate and he could saw Seokjin was whispering something to him. These Kim brothers really. . .

Fortunately,  Hoseok didn’t hear the door was locked when they entered the storage. Seokjin simply closed it, and the cheers of everyone else laughing were audible—they just celebrated how these two innocence importers had just been ejected into a dark room where Hoseok couldn’t even guess what was inside. He shook his head while turning around, vaguely seeing the other crewmate trying to find the light switch. A dim golden light then shone on the spacious room after a click.

“Thanks,” Hoseok said, to which the blue crewmate nodded back. That person didn’t seem to care about what had just happened and chose to sit cross-legged in the center of the room. Hoseok could sense a gaze was aiming to him.

“Just sit down, we can’t do anything while waiting for the DJ to come.” Hoseok heard the blue crewmate’s voice for the first time. A little relieved, because his partner here is also a male. The situation could be even more awkward if they were a female.

“I thought I was the only one who had the idea of wearing a costume like this,” Hoseok said while taking place beside the blue crewmate. The game is being liked by everyone, including himself and Jimin—the person he most wanted to meet tonight. In fact, Hoseok really wanted to show the costume he made. Lately, they often played together until they lose track of time, sometimes  using discord so that they could hear each other’s voices. Hoseok started to miss him even more thinking about that—their last meeting was a week ago and they had promised to meet again at Seokjin's party.

For a moment, Hoseok could hear the other person laughing. “Me too. Seokjin said we should keep our costumes a secret to make it a surprise, so I really don't know,” He said, turning to Hoseok. “I made it because I liked this game.”

It was Hoseok’s turn to chuckle softly. “We have the same thought,” he said which made them laugh together. There was a brief silence afterward. Hoseok, who didn’t want to lose topic of conversation, finally said again.

“Are you close to Seokjin?”

The blue crewmate turned around again. “Ah, I'm Taehyung’s friend—his younger brother who was wearing pirate clothes. You know him?”

Of course, Hoseok knows Taehyung well. He is the man who introduced him to Jimin. It's a cliché, Taehyung and Namjoon—his lifelong friends since middle school—are cousins. Namjoon moved to this district after completing his undergraduate degree because he got a job at a company there. His new apartment was close to the Kim family residence, so he saw Taehyung often. When they happened to meet at the bookstore few months ago, Namjoon, who was with Hoseok, introduced him to Taehyung who also introducing Jimin whom he accompanied to there. Since then, Hoseok grew a special interest on that close friend of Taehyung.

“Oh, yes, I know him,” Hoseok replied, not looking at his fake crewmate for a moment and choosing to pay attention to the tip of his straightened leg. “Seokjin and Taehyung do have a lot of friends, don't they?” He added again, and the blue crewmate nodded.

“They’re really social butterflies,” He said while moving to position himself like Hoseok so they could be less awkward when chatting. “And how about you? Are you close with him?" Now it his turn to ask, referring to Seokjin and the first question Hoseok had asked him before. Without hesitation, Hoseok nodded.

“I’m friends with his cousin, and Taehyung too, and Seokjin. Well, they're all pretty easy to make friends with.”

The crewmate agreed and nodded quickly, the paper on his helmet was shaking. Hoseok who was watching then commented softly. “Nice detail.” His head slightly pointing at the other person’s direction. The crewmate chuckled.

“That sprout on your head suits too.” He complimented him back. Hoseok was taken aback by that for a moment and then shook his head. If Jimin said that, his face would have turned red. Several times, the youngest would casually tied his hair when he came to visit him, either to accompany him having lunch or cook when Taehyung was away. Hyung looks like an apple, he usually said, adding that Hoseok would look great with long hair. Hoseok, who was holding himself back from looking flustered, would tell him to come closer so he could tie his hair as a reply. Then they would take some silly photos which Jimin treasured in his phone gallery, like some gems he won’t lose to. Hoseok doesn’t understand what was his intention, but he is happy to know that Jimin always cherishes their moments, even using one of their selfies covered in flour as his phone lockscreen. It was taken when he and Jimin were trying to make a cake to congratulate Taehyung who had finished his final assignment proposal. Despite having a hard time at first and creating a mess in Jimin's kitchen, the result was quite satisfying.

"I got this idea from the internet. I just got remember that I have a jumpsuit in this color, so I use it to save costs,” Hoseok explained while using a hand gesture that the crewmate paid close attention to.

“Me too. Looks like we really thought of something that is exactly the same,” said the crewmate, chiming in on what Hoseok had said a few moments ago. Hoseok nodded. His hand then tapped his helmet.

“Do you also—by any chance—like to ride motorcycle? I have this helmet because of that, but this one is a bit worn out so I don’t use it anymore.”

It seemed that Hoseok’s words made the other felt slightly uncomfortable. Hoseok  thought he had spoken wrong because now the man in the all-blue costume was looking down and avoiding his unseen eyes through the dark helmet. “I used to ride motorcycle, but  I no longer can do it because I sold my motorcycle last year for tuition. My family was in crisis at the time and until now I haven’t been able to buy a new one. Maybe I should just graduate quickly and find a good job so I can go riding again.”

An unexpected story, but Hoseok didn’t try to talk about it any further. The blue crewmate finally looked up again and continued his words. “I’ve kept this helmet in my storage for a long time and it’s a little damaged because never been used, so I just decorated it for today,” He added, both hands touching his helmet and almost take it off  in front of Hoseok. For a second, that crewmate looked like he realized something and stopped his movement. Hoseok smiled, knowing well that the blue crewmate certainly couldn’t see it.

“If you want, we can ride together. I don’t mind,” He said. For a glimpse, Hoseok was sure he had  seen a pair of sparkling eyes staring at him if only the window film didn’t blocked their vision. However, as if trying to control his expression, that blue crewmate then turned and stared at the door.

“Yeah, good idea,” he said curtly, leaning on his hands that being straightenedbehind his back. Hoseok looked at him closely and suddenly he remembered Jimin again. The sitting position and gesture of this crewmate were really similar to the person who clouded on his mind lately. He moved his position a little and talk again.

“Actually, I also want to ride with someone. But, I don’t know whether he wants it or not.” Hoseok started a new topic now, inviting the crewmate to look back at him with enthusiasm.

“Who?”

“I’m in love with someone.”

The response of the crewmate was to pause, before his muffled voice sounded faint. “Wow,” he said in a low voice. Hoseok refrained from smiling too broadly—even though he knew that it was impossible for the other person to find out.

“We see each other often and I’m pretty close with him. Yet, I don’t want to ruin our relationship by move up too fast.”

To Hoseok's surprise, the crewmate nodded. “I feel you—I also have that kind of situation,” he said, looking straight at the toe of the shoe he was wearing. Hoseok cocked his head in confusion. Before he had time to ask, the crewmate continued talking.

“This hyung—he is very nice. Someone who are considerate and always take care of their friends. He is like a mood booster. Everytime I met him, the tiredness from my last year in college is like being lifted up. Hyung always manages to make the atmosphere around him brighter.”

Turned away, Hoseok almost thought the person in front of him right now was Jimin who is talking about him. It sounded desperate, so Hoseok ended up throwing the thought away. He didn’t want his conversation with this stranger to be disturbed because he couldn’t stop thinking about him. As if he could read Hoseok’s mind, the blue crewmate continued again.

“I don’t want us to be awkward if I confess to him very soon. But, I hope he also had the same feeling so I don't have to let him go for other people.”

It was his thought too, apparently. Hoseok then agreed, the corners of his lips lifted listening to that man’s words. “Seemed like you have big crush on him,” He said lightly, and the blue crewmate immediately let out an embarrassed laugh from inside his helmet. Hoseok chuckled a little.

“If you know him, you will definitely like him too. He is the kind of person you can’t possibly hate.”

Hoseok laughed even louder at this. “I hope so, but the person I like is just the same—someone who immediately makes your heart warm only by having their presence around. He is very kind and friendly, it’s easy to make him laugh and he always acts silly. We used to go out together to buy something and when he finds something weird or cute, he immediately puts it on to make me laugh.”

“Sounds like me,” said the crewmate quickly. Hoseok turned to him and show a gesture as if to ask, Is that true? while looking at him and the crewmate immediately continued laughing while nodded. “I’m also someone who used to do that.”

Hearing him laugh so easily made Hoseok even more eager to meet Jimin now. He shifted his gaze towards the ceiling of the room while returning to the story. “He is also a very caring person—always reminding me not to skip lunch and get enough rest. I’ve just started working and often forget about having meal, so he is really helpful.” There was a pause that Hoseok took to smile ridiculously at himself. “Sometimes when I’m really tired, talking to him on the phone or meeting him at a cafe really makes me feel better. He’s younger than me, but he is much more mature when responding to me who is having problems.”

“Just like my crush,” the crewmate continued Hoseok's words in a second, following his upward gaze. “I was in my last year of college and he always encouraged me for this final project. He is truly a supportive person. When I was very tired and needed a short break, he wouldn’t think twice about refusing me to go and do something. I really feel lucky to have someone like him.”

Turning to his right, Hoseok smiled. “He must be like you too. I would do the same to people I like.”

The crewmate shook his head. “Ah no. I guess that’s impossible.” His voice sounded hurt. Hoseok felt guilty for saying that. A stiff silence enveloped them and Hoseok had lost the subject again.

“How come you like that person?” Suddenly the crewmate asked, his legs were brought back and he sat with face seated at his palm, one hand resting on his thigh. He seemed to be a little interested in hearing Hoseok talk about Jimin. While following his position so that they faced each other, Hoseok began to think about from where he should start his story.

“I wonder how? I met him a few months ago—right after graduation—because my friend introduced him to me. We just got along because he is an easy-going and friendly person. There are a few things that we both like and we always keep in touch with the chat. Somehow, the feeling just grew before I even realized it.”

There was no reply from the crewmate, his invisible face seemed to have a serious expression while listening to Hoseok. “Actually, he caught my eye when we first met,” Hoseok continued, remembering his first meeting with Jimin. After leaving the bookstore, Namjoon and Taehyung decided to have lunch together. They chatted more and more and Hoseok begins to learn more about Jimin—a film major student who is in his final year. He thought it would be difficult to have a close relationship with the  people who were busy with the final project, but fortunately, Jimin was being easy wuth that. He said one day, I also need rest, hyung. Don't feel guilty for spending time with me so often. Hoseok hopes he can really become the person who helps Jimin feel better in the midst of the complexity of his final project.

“I can get along with many people easily, but talking to him was different. As if we were close before, it wasn't awkward at all.” Hoseok took a pause to remember Jimin’s words that he often spoke to him so lightly. “He is also a person who doesn’t hesitate to start a conversation, so I really feel comfortable with him.”

Feeling more interested after hearing Hoseok’s story, the bluecrewmate then cupped his face with both hands. “There must be many people who say that you guys get along well,” he said spontaneously. Even though Hoseok knew that the crewmate seemed to immediately regret the words he gave too suddenly—a faint muttering of the word “sorry” could be heard, he still laughed a little.

“You're right,” he said, now straightening himself for a moment before returning to lean on his hand. “How about you and your crush?” He asked back. The crewmate in front of him seemed to be thinking as he tapped his fingers on the helmet he was wearing.

Hyung is the person I really need,” he began, his gaze refocused on Hoseok. “He is a person who always understands my feelings well, even when I couldn’t tell anyone. When I was tired and didn't want to have talk, he wouldn't try to contact me until I feel better. When I need someone to listen to my complaints, he is always there and ready to contact me.” The crewmate then became silent, Hoseok could tell he was smiling behind the blue helmet.

“Besides, me and my close friends have the same habit so we can’t always remind each other when doing wrong. But, hyung helped me to be better. He is a person who really pays attention to the little things, so I started to become like  him. Hyung always makes sure I do well so that I don’t find any difficulties next time.”

At that time, Hoseok almost felt overconfident that the person the crewmate meant was him. Snorting to himself, he tried to reply as neutral as possible. “Some people also told me that I am a conscientious person. In my opinion, you should pay special attention to the little things, therefore the work you are doing can be done better.”

Surprised by his words, the crewmate suddenly straightened his body. “Funny, you sound like hyung now.”

From behind his helmet, Hoseok blinked and asked, “Really?” A nod from the crewmate was the reply and his chuckles invited Hoseok to laugh along with him. Hoseok found this crewmate was very easy to get laugh, very much like Jimin. Even the gestures of them both—fell backwards while laughing too loudly—looked very similar.

“I want to meet hyung now,” The crewmate, who was calmer now, spoke again. “I like to see his smile when he laughs. The world seemed to be a thousand times better when he smiled broadly.”

This cliché makes Hoseok furious to tease him. “Jeez, you really do like him that much, huh?” He asked in a mock teasing tone. A nod was given and they laughed again.

“I want to meet him too,” Hoseok replied. “When he laughs, he also fell like you. It’s so cute, sometimes I want to hug him right away, but I know we’re not in the position to doing so.” His tone changed when he reached the end of his sentence. The blue crewmate fell silent while still looking straight at him.

“It must be very hard to hold back like that,” He finally replied, a sympathetic voice in his words. Hoseok smiled. He knew exactly what it was like to try not to hug Jimin immediately when he had fallen from laughing too much. Of course, Hoseok hopes that those days will come soon—when there is no longer borderline between them—despite the consequences he will have is to wait more patiently.

“We've only known for a few months, so I can’t act like that easily. Even though we’re getting closer by days, I think it would be awkward if I suddenly confess to him.”

Suddenly, the blue crewmate’s hand went to Hoseok's right shoulder, patting him lightly, just like what Jimin often did when Hoseok was really tired and needed someone to give him a shot of encouragement. “I hope you can tell him soon—that you like him. I hope he has the same feelings for you,” said the blue crewmate sincerely. Hoseok may be hallucinating, but he is sure to see a smile on that crewmate’s face.

“Thank you.”

Right after Hoseok finished saying that phrase, the door suddenly opened. Seokjin’s figure with pale makeup and black vampire clothes appeared in the doorway. He frowned at the sight of the two of them.

“I thought you were already gone—the door wasn’t locked—okay never mind.” He shrugged. “The DJ is already here, you guys have to come together to the front room, okay?” After making the announcement, Seokjin left. Hoseok thought, Seokjin doesn’t seem to recognize himself in this costume either. The blue crewmate had gotten up from his seat and reached out his hand to help Hoseok up.

“Hey, I forgot we haven’t introduced ourselves earlier,” Hoseok slightly yelled at the blue crewmate who had started walking towards the door. Only when he turned around and faced Hoseok again did he continue talking. “Mind if you take off your helmet? I want us to know each other’s looks and names.”

Without second thought, the blue crewmate shook his head. “I don’t. I also want to know your face,” He said humorously. Hoseok chuckled.

“All right, on the count of three. One. Two. Three.”

Just as his hands went up to take off his helmet away, Hoseok felt like he had been poured with a bucket of ice. His face turned pale when he found out that the figure in front of him, the person he had been talking to about Jimin all this time, was Jimin himself.

“Jimin-a?”

“Hoseok hyung?”

The two questions were asked simultaneously at the exact same time. Jimin’s face and cheeks immediately blushed, while Hoseok, who didn’t know what to say, chose to look down and avoiding eye contact with him. Now everything is clear. During the last few minutes, they talked to one another, express each other’s feelings clearly without knowing that the person they are referring to is right in front of them. Jimin looked away, trying to cover his blushing face.

“Is that true, hyung? What you’ve said?” He asked doubtfully, without even glancing at Hoseok. Being given this kind of question, the answer Hoseok has was certainly obvious.

“You heard it yourself—I wouldn’t possibly lie to you.”

Jimin's head was lowered deeper. His hands holding the helmet tightly, seemed to be trying to hold himself not to put it back on. “I didn’t know if you like someone like. . . me,” He stammered and Hoseok was hurt to hear those words. Whatever Jimin thought about himself, Hoseok never felt that there was a flaw that could make him think twice about liking—and loving—Jimin.

“I didn’t think you were comfortable with my attitude either. You never said it.” But, he chose to reply with that, head lowered too. Out of his sight, Jimin was now looking back at him.

“Since when. . . . Hyung?” His voice was low when he spoke that question. Steeling himself, Hoseok finally raised his head to meet their gaze.

“I start to know it when we have deep talk about our own lives, last summer. Since then, I realized that I wanted to have a relationship that is more than friends with you. I realized that you are the right person for me.”

Maybe this was only in Hoseok’s mind, but when he blinked for the second time, he was one hundred percent sure that Jimin’s eyes were glazing at him. He was at a loss for words and it took a full five seconds before his reply was spoken.

“Me too, hyung.” Now Hoseok stared at Jimin more intense than ever. He waited patiently, giving room to Jimin to catch his breath and pause a second before continuing. “At that time, I started to understand that the people I wanted the most to be by my side were no longer just Taehyung and my parents. I also want to be with you. I want to spend more time with you and become two people who can trust each other with you.”

Jimin’s words succeeded silence Hoseok. His heart was pounding fast. He never thought Jimin would say that. Be with him and spend time with him. Even if Hoseok often wished Jimin had the same feelings as him, then what was in his mind before were words similar to those that slipped from his lips. Nothing more.

This confession session was beyond his imagination. Hoseok always had plans to express his feelings with something memorable, which they would always remember later, not accidentally be spoken up like now. However, at least he was grateful that their feelings were conveyed and there was no longer waiting after this. He formed a smile on his lips.

“I guess we do have strong telepathy, huh?”

The sentence bringing laughter back to them. “But, hyung.” Jimin started making a whiny voice which Hoseok responded by raising his eyebrows. “I wanted to tell you in a way better than this!” He exclaimed, hands crossed over his chest. Hoseok laughed out loud.

“You can redo it anytime, if you want.” Hearing that, Jimin pursed his lips even more. Hoseok, who could not stand that cute behavior anymore, then stretched out his hand, pinched Jimin’s left cheek lightly.

“So we—?” Hoseok asked as he took back his right hand. Instead of answering, Jimin put his helmet back on. His right hand then extended to the oldest. A gesture to take his hand.

“Hi, boyfriend?” called him in a low voice. Seeing his cute demeanor, Hoseok couldn’t help but smile. He stepped closer, pulled Jimin's hand to wrap around his body while he held the boy tightly.

“Hi, mine.” Hoseok whispered back. Maybe a bit of bad luck for him because if Jimin didn’t put his helmet already, Hoseok could clearly see his face and ears turning bright red. They stayed in that position for quite a while, at least enough for the two of them to calm down each heartbeat.

Hyung,” Jimin suddenly called him when Hoseok stepped away a little to put on his helmet. With his face covered, Hoseok only nodded his head, allowing him to continue.

“Can we take this slow? I’m sure of my feelings for you but. . . . I don’t want us to be awkward by going too fast.”

Jimin has a point. They started out as strangers who become close for one reason and another, then slowly start to like each other as more than friends. If they took this relationship to a more serious level too quickly, then Hoseok can make sure the outcome won’t be good. Both he and Jimin must be careful and keep a strong commitment to maintain their relationship. With a smile, Hoseok finally came back to Jimin and held both of his hands tightly.

“We will do it. Anything for you—I will accept all the decisions we discussed and decided together.”

Maybe Hoseok didn’t know, but Jimin thought he was the happiest person at the moment. Having someone who understand himself just like Hoseok is something he would cherish and remember all the time. Something he would keep in his heart and never let go of it.

“Thank you, hyung,” he said wholeheartedly. Hoseok couldn’t show his smile, so he just put their helmets closer together, as what he used to do when joking with Jimin—bringing their foreheads together and staring right into each other’s eyes.

“Let's get out of here.”

Hoseok’s right hand now griped Jimin’s left hand firmly, leading him to the hallway, which is more noisy than before. Yoongi—Seokjin and Namjoon's friend—seemed to be busy with his jokey disc equipment on the stage. Stomping songs echoed throughout the room, captivating all the invitations to dance together.

“Wow, wow. Looks like our impostors decided to come out as a couple,” Taehyung’s voice greeted them. His right hand that was holding a glass filled with cola was lifted slightly to make the announcement. Lure a few pairs of eyes to look at them. A grin appeared on his face as he continued, “Well, how about you guys reveal each other’s identities? I guess everyone here is curious about who our impostor pairing are.”

Taehyung's jokes really make the party to be centered on them again. Seokjin who was in the drinking section watched from afar, while Namjoon who was previously chatting with Yoongi also turned his head towards them. Exchanging glances, Hoseok gave Jimin a reassuring nod before counting together the seconds of taking off their helmets.

The response of those who knew them was clearly shocked. Taehyung almost let go his grip on the glass, Seokjin immediately turned his full body to face them, and Namjoon seemed to blink in disbelief. Even Yoongi, who knew them pretty well enough, suddenly turned off the song he was playing. “Thanks to you, Tae,” Jimin said with a big smile, his free hand managed to find Hoseok’s hand to hold it back. Taehyung choked, but his big laugh was heard before long.

“Well, I guess my joke earlier has its merits too," He replied, shaking his head. As he stepped closer, he gave the two of them a high-five. “Congrats, bro. Finally you two are mature to confess each feelings.”

The trio then laughed together, short before getting interrupted by Namjoon’s scream from a distance.

“This one is for you both. Big congrats!”

A moment later, the song Sugar from Maroon 5 sounded blaring. Namjoon was the one who made the request to Yoongi, it seemed. The sound of applause and cheers that were different from before—when they had been led into the storage surrounded the room—echoed throughout the room. Hoseok glanced at Jimin and the happy expression on his face is something he would engrave in his memory. All of these, although he is reluctant to admit it, can happen because of Taehyung and his joke.

Seokjin came over not long after, followed by Yoongi, and the other people on the crowd also congratulate them—even though they didn’t clearly register what’s going on. After the crowd died down, Hoseok took Jimin away to find some snacks. To be honest, the two of them were hungry after being left in the storage for half an hour earlier tonight.

“Jimin-a,” Hoseok asked between their meals. Jimin who was sitting in front of him turned his head. They were in the kitchen right now, a little away from the crowd, again, to eat their meal in peace. Say thank you to Seokjin later for giving them permission.

“What's it, hyung?” Jimin asked before emptying the cola in his glass with one sip. Hoseok, who had finished earlier, then supported his face on his palm which resting on the table.

“Wanna have some ride later? You said you haven’t been on a motorcycle for a long time.”

This might be the quickest first date invitation for him, but Jimin definitely won’t refuse. He had already told Hoseok the secret he always kept out from him—even though he knew exactly what this guy’s exact hobby after knowing him for months—so there was no reason for him to say no. He smiled.
