Chapter Text
-October for the Seiran 99th Class-
“Suzu-san...Just what are you doing...?”
Hisame took a sip of her coffee as she watched her dear friend and roommate pace around the living room with her cell phone in her hands. At first, she thought it was Suzu being her usual energetic self but now that this has been going on for nearly three hours, it’s getting pretty annoying as much as concerning.
“MAHIRUINVITEDMETOCOMETOMEETHERFAMILY!!!!” A sheer scream erupted out of the tall second year as she shook her poor friend back and forth. “J-JUST WHAT ARE YOU SAYI- GET OFF OF ME!” Hisame cried out as she covered the top of her coffee mug to prevent the hot liquid from spilling on the floor.
Koharu watched the scene before her in silent amusement before speaking up on what the energetic girl was frantically screaming, “Tsuyuzaki Mahiru-san invited her to go trick-or-treating with her younger siblings this weekend.” she nodded before going back to munching on her slice of toast. Watching Hisame sigh in relief as Suzu has stopped shaking her after 15 long seconds.
“Ah, Mahiru-san?”
“Yep! AND this will be the first time I’ll be meeting Mahiru’s family guys!” Suzu whined as she tugged on her hair, “I just HAVE to make a good impression!” Hisame only sighed while Koharu jusst nodded. “Did’nt you say you’d help with the decorations for Halloween festival this weekend?” Hisame set her coffee mug on the table to cross her arms at her friend, who now fidgeted nervously at the sudden reminder. She could only roll her eyes as Suzu bean to laugh nervously. “Ah the Halloween festival..! W-well you see-“
“I already agreed to take her place.” Koharu spoke up from behind, earning a look of shock from Hisame. “What?! But you already agreed to help out on the haunted maze. How are you going to do that along with the decorations?”
“Aaaaw don’t be like that, Hisame-chan~!” Suzu cooed as she slid an arm around her short friend, “I know you’re concerned about Koharu but you know very well she’s good to handle a whole bunch of tasks at once!”
The small girl didn’t react to Suzu’s touchy gesture as she turned to Koharu with a rather nervous glint in her eyes. “Koharu-San,” the small second year winced, “Are you sure you can handle it? You don’t want me to help you with anything?”
“Aaaw she cares so much about you Koha-OW” The olive haired girl cries out as she felt a hand chop the side of her head. “Hisame-chaaan!”
“I mean...” Koharu spoke quietly into what was left of her breakfast, “if we finish early, you and I can spend some time together at the festival..” It wasn’t noticeable but if you looked very closely, you can see the tint of red arising within Koharu’s cheeks.
A long pause of silence was present in the room, both of Koharu’s classmates stared at her with blank expressions. That is, until a certain somebody just had to break the silence with a, “AAAAAW THAT’S SO CU-“
*THUD*
“OOOOW! STOP ASSAULTING ME..!” .
