"I…want to kiss Manami-kun." Onoda thinks, pouting and sneaking glances at Manami. Manami, seemingly oblivious to Onoda’s actions, carries on being absorbed in whatever he’s currently reading (probably about places with wondrous mountains). This causes him to feel slightly disappointed, however it does intensifies his determination to kiss Manami.
"M..Ma-"
"Sakamichi-kun."
Manami interrupts, closing the book he was immersed in and placing it down by his side. With a soft smile directed at Onoda, he continues, ”You’ve been looking my way for a while now, is something the matter?”
"Er, no, well you see…I-" Onoda stutters, face flushed and eyes looking at anywhere but his lover. He twiddles his thumbs, the soles of his feet rubbing against each other.Observing his boyfriend’s strange behaviour, Manami immediately realises what Onoda had meant to say.
"Ah, could it be…that you wanted to kiss?"
"Eh?"
Manami closes the distance between him and Onoda, gently holding his head in place as his lips presses against his. As they part, Onoda stares up at Manami with questioning eyes. “H-how did you know…?” he asks, face red.
"Sakamichi-kun, haven't you noticed?"
Raising his eyebrows in confusion, Onoda persists and replies,"Noticed what?"
"That whenever you want to kiss, you twiddle your thumbs and rub your feet together."
"…Huh?" Onoda gapes at Manami in surprise. Does...he really do that?
Chuckling, Manami continues,"Oh Sakamichi-kun~! And here I thought it was pretty obvious. There’s more to this actually. When you want to hold hands, you’ll keep staring at my hands and often or not, scratch your neck. When you want to make love, you’ll constantly be in a daze, staring out of the window. Sometimes while biting your nails too! Also-"
"Uwah—!! P-Please don’t say anymore, Manami-kun…!"
