It was supposed to be a normal school day, but it wasn't. It makes sense since everyone heard that the student council president had a boyfriend, so many girls were left heartbroken and so many eager to see who caught his eye.
Cloud Recess Academy wasn't an easy school to get into, not anybody could get into it. Even if you did the teachers are strict, the rules were intense, and the principle is... Lan Qiren. But it seems his person isn't just anybody though.
Lan Sizhui was with his friends plus a whole group of other students (mostly girls) who were asking him questions. Even some students were whispering behind him.
"Lan Sizhui the student council president, top student, favorite of all teachers, +A grades in everything has a boyfriend! And he's coming today!"
A girl commented loud enough that Jingyi heard and groaned. So he sarcastically added,
"Did you forget Sizhui is also connected to one of the twin jades of Lan?"
After hearing that she said "That makes him even more important!"
Sizhui just smiled, even he was excited to see him now! Soon they could walk home together, talk more not just texts, hang out, go on-
"Sizhui! Are you listening?" He was interrupted by one of the male students, "I said what is he like?"
Another person broke in, " I think he's going to be kind, polite, smart..."
He was still going on and on about what he thinks that he didn't hear Jingyi and Zizhen snickering, "Kind? Polite? Wait till they find out how Jin ling really is!" he whispered to Zizhen and Sizhui.
"Don't say that, he's not that bad you know!" Sizhui whispered back.
Zizhen calmed down and finally he asked "Anyway, when will he come-"
Everyone stopped chatting and stared at the limousine and parked at the front of the school, the driver opened the door for him. He came out and the driver got into the limo and drove away.
It was the well known heir of the billion dollar company LanLing Corp, Jin LIng. He wore a brown shirt that had an embroidery of a yellow peony, on top he wore a golden jacket that shimmered in the sunlight with the zipper open. Ripped skinny jeans, wearing sunglasses, tying his hair in a ponytail with a red ribbon. He was holding his backpack with one hand and with the other he lifted his sunglasses and placed them on his head.
"A-Ling! How have you been?" Sizhui ran up to hug him, and he answered "Good".
A bunch of students started talking.
"That's him? I knew he was going to be special but I didn't think it would be like this!"
"Yeah! I didn't think it would be Jin Ling! He's the heir of LanLing Corp, his uncle is the CEO of Yumeng Corp, and his other uncle is the famous hacker Yiling Patriarch!"
Jingyi groaned for the second time, "Really, what is with these people? It's Jin Ling! Not some Queen!"
Looking confused Zizhen asked, "Queen?"
They were both laughing when Sizhui and Jin Ling came up to them, and suddenly the crowd of students went away leaving the four of them alone, "What is wrong with you?".
"Ah! It's the princess! You should have come in a carriage!"
"Why you-"
"Guys don't fight now!"
Everyone still staring at them, such important people talking with each other, teasing each other, and laughing with each other.
Before they knew it the bell rang.

People walking out of classrooms, it took a while to review the 3500+ rules of Cloud Recess Academy. Usually Jin Ling would love to take this time to take a nap but it was against the 3500+ rules and Sizhui was the one who said the rules, by memory.
Jin Ling and his friends were walking out of the classroom, as Jingyi complained
"That was so boring! I basically slept through the whole class!"
Zizhen laughed as he said, "Yeah we know we saw you."
"Your lucky the principal didn't see you. Or you wouldn't be here right now." Jin Ling added just to make Jingyi shiver and glared back, "Anyway who do you have next?"
"Wie Wuxian..."
"How did he even become a teacher in this school with the principal around?"
Sizhui broke in. "Probably because of my dad!"
Jingyi started laughing, "Yeah!"
"Well look who it is, how have you been Jin Ling?"
Jin Ling looked up to see it was Jin Chan. His expression changed into annoyed.
"Jin Chan?"
"Seems like we all have your uncle next, right? This will be good."
Even Sizhui didn't like Jin Chan so he came in, "Yes he is very kind and energetic, we will all get along."
Jin Chan stared at him, and left seemed like Jin Chan couldn't stand up to Sizhui.
Even then, even now.
