Jimin and Jungkook have been dating for five months and after Tae’s persistent nagging, Jungkook has let him come over so the three of them can hang out together. The theme is gamenight because Jungkook has the best consoles and all the gaming consoles.
Jungkook had opted to go against Jimin while Tae would play the winner of their match. The game is Overwatch, 1 v 1. Tae honestly wonders why Jungkook would be so brutal but as he watches, his mind is blown.
“Did Jimin just win?” Taehyung asks with complete seriousness and shock written all over his face.
Jimin smiles and wiggles in his seat, “Of course I won. I always win against Jungkookie, I’m the best at any game.”
Jungkook pulls him close to his side and puckers his lips for a kiss.
“And I always get a good game kiss,” Jungkook says with a smile, but there’s a sharp gleam in his eyes.
Taehyung opens his mouth to argue, but Jungkook quickly asks Jimin to get them more snacks. Jimin doesn’t think much of it and heads off, once he’s out of sight, Taehyung finally grills him.
“You have never lost to anyone. You are a grandmaster and he can barely stay in the bronze league with his skills. Does he even know who you are?” Taehyung stares at him with disbelief and when Jungkook doesn’t react, but an anxious look takes over his eyes, Taehyung gasps, “He has no idea what you do for a living, does he?” Taehyung covers his mouth and laughs.
Jungkook glares and throws a pillow at him, “If you tell him, I’ll ban you on the servers.”
Taehyung straightens up, “Wow, you’re actually serious about this person, aren’t you?”
“I’ve never lost to anyone, but you saw that just now, didn’t you,” Jungkook looks at him with an earnest expression.
“You love him, don’t you?” Taehyung asks in a softer voice.
“He kept on pouting when I killed him two minutes into the game, but when I let him win the match he got so happy and started doing this little victory dance, and honestly, I was the winner in the end.”
Taehyung makes a loud gag, “You are absolutely disgusting, I do not look forward to going to the wedding.”
Jungkook's eyes harden, “If you say a single word about this to Jimin, I will absolutely blacklist you from all games so the only thing you can play are regular PC games.”
Taehyung’s face changes into a look of horror, “You could never do that to your best friend, could you?”
“Remember how all you wanted for your birthday was to beat me in Overwatch and I let you almost kill me, but then annihilated your whole team?” Jungkook raises a brow, “I wouldn’t mind doing something so horrible against you.”
Taehyung narrows his eyes, “This is why Seokjin runs the company and not you. You’re just a big meanie who’s mean.”
Jungkook laughs and turns his head to make sure Jimin isn’t coming.
It’s well past midnight and the couple is snuggled together under the sheets.
“How come you didn’t tell me you’re the CEO of your own gaming company?” Jimin asks quietly against Jungkook’s chest.
Jungkook tenses, “Did you hear?”
“Yeah and then I looked you up and you’re sort of famous.”
“Are you angry?”
“Are you still going to let me win all the time?”
“Yes.”
“Then I’m not angry, but why did you hide it? I’m not after your money or using you to make myself a better player,” he tugs on Jungkook’s white tee as a small sign of anger.
“I wasn’t sure how you would react.”
It’s honest and Jimin isn’t completely sure why that’s a reason, but he knows it’s the best Jungkook can do. “If you’re the CEO then can I get all the accessories I want for free in Quest?” Jimin raises his head to see Jungkook’s reaction.
Jungkook smiles fondly, “That’s not going to help because you’re terrible at gaming.”
Jimin’s mouth opens with indignation and he angrily turns around, “Maybe I am angry that you decided to lie to me.”
Jungkook laughs and rolls over to hug Jimin, “It’s okay, I’ll change the code to make you invincible. I am the CEO and creator after all.”
“Who’s Seokjin? Is he a better player?” Jimin turns around to look at Jungkook with curiosity.
Jungkook lets out a hearty laugh, “I could defeat him any time. He’s a friend of mine back in university and handles the business side of the company. The paperwork and all.”
Jimin nods, “Ah right, you were a prodigy when you were young.”
“I still am a prodigy, I managed to date you after all.”
Jimin cuddles into Jungkook’s chest, “It doesn’t take a genius to date me. Look at all of my exes.”
“It takes a genius to make sure you’re always happy,” Jungkook whispers.
“I love you Jungkookie,” Jimin smiles.
“I love you to.”
