The 90-day separation of Andrea Herrera-Sullivan and Robert Sullivan ends in 7 hours, 20 minutes)...

She is anxious and nervous and wanting to see him so badly, because she misses him like mad...it has definitely been harder
than she thought it would be, even though the two of them text regularly and FaceTime as well. Richard Webber (as a sponsor) has
been nothing short of a godsend, and her father made himself available for encouragement and support. They are a matter of hours
from being re-united, and the ingredients of his favorite meal (ribeye steak, creamed corn, spinach, cauliflower, dinner rolls, and iced
tea) have been assembled and readied for their reunion dinner. Also ready is the partial list she created of the music she'll play tonight:

4 hours and 10 minutes until the most anticipated re-union in her young life...she laid out the special lingerie purchased weeks in
advance; then the new black A line dress and high-heels purchased at the same time as the lingerie. She planned to shower and
complete he other 'ablutions' an hour before Robert's scheduled to arrive. Her phone buzzed before she finished making her sandwich
and she hurried into the living room to answer it...IT'S ROBERT!!

(COUNTDOWN: 1 hour and 07 minutes until her man is back in her arms)

Excited and exhilarated by her conversation with Robert, she giggles like an expectant schoolgirl while she showers, shaves her privates,
then powders and lotions her body...that done, she then dressed in the lingerie that she knows will knock her spouse's block off. This done,
she decides to dress her hair and put on her makeup before slipping on her dress and heels.

Less than TWO MINUTES: and there's his KEY IN THE LOCK!

His coat is off and he hung it up as she made it to the anteroom-he looked so handsome in his crisp dark blue shirt and
trousers; after more than one year of acquaintance, his height and BULK still shock the young Lieutenant. His hands are chilled,
and she tried to warm them between her own, though they are so much larger than her own. "I've asked you to wear gloves, Captain"
she smiled, lifting her face for a kiss. He pressed their foreheads together, nodding agreement. Hand in hand they walked into the dining
room. Sullivan peeled off to wash his hands in the half-bath off of the main hall. Andy continued to the kitchen and brought a tray with
their plates on it to the dining room table. By the time she served wine for him and iced tea for herself, her man had come out to sit at the
table.

(She noted the look of fatigue on his face-the way his eyes blink rapidly in a valiant attempt to stay awake., and shuffled the prepared

He looked tired, yet he dutifully ate the excellent food, though he yawned from time to time. He either didn't notice that her beverage is
non-alcoholic, or is too tired to comment on it. Amid their chit-chat, Robert remarked, "Your Dad was at the station today. He must have arrived
while we were at the plane crash. He waited until Aid Car, Engine, and Ladder were recovered so that he and I could speak privately."

"Oh...what about?" Her curiosity is piqued.

Another yawn. "He suspects that you're keeping something from him. I assured him that I didn't know what he meant." He caught himself
and looks into her eyes. "And I DID NOTICE how incredibly beautiful and desirable you look tonight. How could I not."

"Don't dance around and divert!" Her red lips curve upward into an impish smile. "Is that all that Pruitt said, or was there more?"

Yet another longggYAWN. "He dreamed that he lived to see his grandchild born."

"Ah. I'll tell you all about it later. C'MON...let's get upstairs."

Montgomery, 'Probie', Miller and Gibson occupy a six-person table after Vic departs to meet Ruzi for dinner; the days
when Bishop hung around to get really drunk after the shift are long past now that she and Carina are back together.
A party bus with 15 passengers aboard went over a cliff when the 62-year-old driver had a seizure, resulting in ten
deaths (including the driver) and the survivors in critical care. Now 'battle-hardened', Young Dixon leads the laughter
and the beers while they de-compress. Gibson broke away to have a piss and on his way back to the table noticed Ryan
Tanner seated at the bar, knocking back shots. He hesitated, the joined him holding up four fingers to Chance, the bar-
keep signaling another round for his table.

He and Tanner have a complicated history as one-time rivals for Andy Herrera (Sullivan's) affections; there's an uneasy truce
between the FD Lieutenant and PD officer now that's she's married to Sullivan and expecting a child with him. Blearily, Tanner
turned to the other man and said "Sheesh's PREGNANT...j'know that? Yeh...preggers...SHIT!"

"Yeah. She told us last shift-two days ago" Jack answered carefully. "Yo-I should drive you home, Man. You're kinda fucked
up: CHANCE, I'm takin' him out, yeah?"

Before the bar-keep can answer Tanner said loudly "Ish BULLSHIT, Chance! Fuckin' bullshit, idnnit? I'm gonna call her; ask 'er WHAT
THE FUCK, y'know?" He groped in his pocket for his cell phone.

"Just lemme know what he owes Bud; I'll settle it tomorrow after shift, yeah? Thanks, man."

He called over to Miller for help getting the drunk fool out of Joe's and to his car.

Lucas wondered aloud if they (he and Vic) are making the biggest mistake of their private and professional lives. Vic stiffened a
little, then pushed away from him a bit and looked him directly in the eyes. "The time for that question is long past, Lucas. You
see that, correct? The time for any doubts or discussion was before I began to LOVE YOU. Before we risked everything to be together.
Before YOU walked away and then pursued me. Before we both were in too deep to ever go back now."

"It doesn't track that we can keep things private much longer-bad enough as it is that Montgomery knows. We should be fine until the
new policies take effect-I imposed on Sully to author the section on *personal relationships*, with input from Legal of course."

"And if the City Council rejects the policy?"

Lucas kissed her gently and stated flatly "I'll take my twenty-two. Hone my 'stay at home Dad skills."

"I'm serious-" she started to say.

"As am I. I'll retire if it means losing you or compromising your career."

Snuggling back against his chest, her fingers drawing whorls in his chest hair. "I could be the one who leaves the department, I could
use my musical theatre degree-really use it...there's a production in the fall in Tacoma. From there, we'll see-I do know that I don't
fully trust you around the baby!"

Carina explains to Maya the best way to 'ingratiate' herself with her family (especially her nonna -her GRANDMOTHER: in this case the most important
person attending the ceremony save for the officiant and the brides. "Richard is not Catholic, however, he agreed to follow the protocol for a Catholic ceremony:
He is 'lector', and proclaims the first reading which is always from the Old Testament. When that is over, he says 'The Word Of the Lord' and the guests say 'Thanks Be To
God'. Richard announces the second reading, which is from the new testaments this time. And at the end of it, Richard says again 'The Word of the Lord"; the guests say
AGAIN 'Thanks be to God.' Then the opening prayer: he prays for us, and we sit for the LITURGY of the word...THAT is...Ohh, excuse me Bambina-it's JO calling...Yes
JO"...and she steps away motioning for Maya to read the pamphlet describing what to expect on their wedding day. She reads: 'Liturgy of the word: The lector proclaims the
first reading which is always from the Old Testament. And when the reading is over, the lector will say…'The Word of the Lord,' and the assembly responds, 'Thanks be
to God.'

The lector again proclaims the second reading which is from the new testaments this time. And at the end of it, the lector repeats…'The Word of the Lord,' and the assembly
responds, 'Thanks be to God.' HOMILY: Everyone sits and the priest or officiant offers a homily taken from the scripture reading. The sacredness of Christian marriage and
the dignity of conjugal love is discussed. He reminds everyone of the grace of sacraments and the responsibilities of married people. Carina apologizes for the interruption
and continues her narration:

"Then we two, Andy, Vic, Teddy, Jo, Amelia, Bailey, Mason and Andrea come down the aisle-you with Robert, me with Ben. He proceeds through the 'Dearly Beloved-blah,
blah, blah' and at the end he asks each of us our intentions. He'll follow a script for most of it, and then we are able to say the vows as we wrote them...are you okay with THIS
part, Bambina?"

The shorter Blonde reads aloud the scripted part of what Father Albert will ask them:

*Sofia Carina Constanza Consalacion DeLuca and Maya Katherine Bishop: have you come here to enter into Marriage without coercion, freely and wholeheartedly?

*Are you prepared, as you follow the path of Marriage, to love and honor each other for as long as you both shall live?* She says "OK. That seems fine."

"Excellent. Father Alberto will bless the rings with prayer and holy water. We place the rings on each other's fingers and recite the vows we wrote. Richard asks the guests
to recite the Lord's Prayer with him and us, and Father Albert asks us to kneel so that he can say a prayer of blessing over us. He blesses the guests, the restaurant and at
the end, he says 'go in peace to glorify the Lord with your life.' Everyone present will respond with the words 'thanks be to God.' Then we come back here to change
and meet everyone back at Kamisky's at 9 or 930. And WE DANCE!!" Carina wiggles her shoulders and hips, drawing her fiance into laughter.

"And then I re-introduce you to Dr. Orgasm-Saviour Of The Universe!" Carina purred seductively.

"HE-L-LO, Doctor!" her soon-to-be wife cackled.
