Work Text:

Panting hot breaths were the only sound in the small condo. Gulf was sitting on the sofa looking at his phone. His anxiety was rampant. He felt suffocated. He looked at a picture that the Mewlions posted. Mew was shirtless wearing grey sweatpants with his boxers showing. He was laying on a bed while he was biting his lip. It was a screenshot from his new drama movie. One of his best performances yet.

Gulf was losing his goddamn mind. He consistently was wondering who was in Mew’s bed. His patience was thin. He constantly thinking why things happened the way they did. Gulf walked away because he couldn’t handle the rumours and the constant fight with nobodies that Mew wasn’t good enough for him only for them to turn around and attack him for breaking Mew’s heart. He just needed to see Mew. He just needed his goddamn time and where the hell was he going to get that with Mew’s packed schedule.

Gulf opened Line on his phone and sent a sticker to Mew. He couldn’t think of anything else to do. He didn’t like how this ended. He hated how he talked to Mew and things exploded. Mew pleaded. They both cried. Mew then bowed his head and whispered his pain of understanding that Gulf couldn’t face their relationship since it was public. Which Gulf had begged for because of his jealousy during interviews. Mew was aging like the most expensive exquisite wine. He looked young. Was smart. He was fit. Mew had packed up his things. The next day he received papers stating Gulf owned the condo that Mew paid for. Mew moved back to his parents and all communication was cut off. Messages left on read.

Gulf watched the message as it was once again left on read. Gulf whined. He was desperate. Mew was his still in his head even after the months of them being separated. Gulf felt tears roll down his cheeks. His phone rang. He answered it right away. “Phi.” He whispered as if it was to be good to be true. “Yai Nong.” His voice was deep but not loud. He had spoken softly “come over please phi.” Gulf sniffled. He heard a sigh “I’ll be there in 30.” Then the dial tone screamed in his ear. Gulf quickly started to clean up. He got water and snacks ready and just as he was starting to pace there was a knock at the door. Padding to the door he wiped his sweaty palms on his pants before opening the door.

When Gulf opened the door his breath was stolen. Mew hadn’t changed from his last event. He was wearing a pink polo, top four buttons undone. White pants and black pointed dress shoes. His hair was swept to the side and styled immaculately. He gave a pained smile and stepped in when Gulf stepped to the side. He slipped out of his shoes and put his hands in his pockets. Gulf itched for them to come out and wrap around his waist. They both padded to the sofa to sit down.

Gulf’s breathing quickened not know where to start, trapped in his head finding the right words when he blurted out “You’re still mine in my head!” When Mew had grabbed his hand to help calm him down. His expression was shocked and then cleared his throat. Gulf didnt know how to rectify this situation leaned over resting his forehead on Mew’s shoulder. “Gulf.” Gulf felt tears well up. Mew ran his fingers through Gulf’s hair. Mew pulled Gulf onto his lap. “Tau-aeng.” Gulf hiccuping now buried his face in Mew’s neck inhaled Mew’s scent. “Khun Phi.” Gulf sighed missing this feeling. “I miss you.” Gulf whispered. Mew had one hand messaging his waist while the other still played with his hair. “I miss you too.” Mew sniffed his hair and drew Gulf in as close as he could.

Gulf clutched at Mew’s shirt. Sniffling he nuzzled Mew’s neck “I’m so sorry. I’m sorry phi. Please phi I am so sorry.” Mew felt Gulf’s tears on his neck and hummed. “I check your ig daily and still feel possessive.” Mew smiled sadly. “Nong. What do you want? The decision you made.” Mew sighed. Gulf kisses at Mew’s neck. How he had missed his Khun Phi. “I am scared. I miss you. I only want you. I can’t handle everything.” Mew hummed again in understanding. Gulf looked up as saw that Mew had been silently crying while holding him. Gulf kissed his tears. “I miss you P’Mew.” Gulf whispered against his cheek.

Mew tilted his head and caught Gulf’s lips in a deep kiss. They sighed in content. Gulf wrapped his arms around Mew’s shoulders shifting to straddle his lap. Mew placed both of his hands on Gulf’s waist. They continued to kiss slowly and passionately. Making up for lost time the past couple months. “Please?” Gulf said into Mew’s mouth before he sucked on Mew’s bottom lip. “Please.” Gulf repeated gliding his fingers through Mew’s hair. “Please.” Mew tightened his grip on Gulf’s waist. Mew started kissing Gulf’s jaw trailing to his ears. “P’Mew...please.” Mew hummed “Please what Tau-aeng?” Mew’s deep voice moaned. Gulf pressed closer to Mew’s body. “Please take me back.” Mew inhaled sharply and caught Gulf’s mouth. “Please.” Gulf started to chant between kisses.

They pulled apart when Mew’s phone went off. Sighing Mew pulled out his phone while keeping Gulf on his lap. “Yes?” Mew tried to sound like he hadn’t been devouring the younger man on his lap. “Boss, we rescheduled for tomorrow. It will be tight but it’s managed.” Mew hummed “thank you.” Gulf nuzzled Mew’s neck trailing kisses along his clavicle and unbuttoning his polo. “Phone if you need a ride, don’t take a taxi. If you don’t call I’ll be there at 6am to collect you for the day.” Mew smiled. “Thank you. I’ll keep you posted. Add three hours to overtime for this.” Gulf heard a chuckle on the other line. “Thanks boss.” Mew hung up the phone and placed it on the coffee table.

Gulf had finished unbuttoning Mew’s polo. Spreading his hands over his bare chest Gulf started to push the polo off his shoulders trailing kisses all over the exposed warm skin. “Tau-aeng” Mew moaned as he started to massage his waist down to his bottom. Gulf kissed back to Mew’s mouth. “Can I be yours again.” Mew moaned into Gulf’s mouth and answered “always mine.” Gulf flushed and deepened the kiss. “Still mine.” Gulf sighed as Mew trailed kisses down to the conjunction of his shoulder and neck to suck on the flushed skin. They continued to explore each other before Mew stood up and carried Gulf to his room.

The next morning Gulf woke up when Mew sat up gently. “Phi.” Gulf panicked and was fully awake as he sat straight up. “I’m just going to work Nong.” Gulf reached out to Mew and pulled him close. “Still mine?” Gulf asked quietly. Mew chuckled. “Shai.” Gulf sighed.

Gulf was leaning against the wall when Mew put on his shoes. He was fighting himself to not cling to Mew and it showed. Mew stood straight and reached out to pull Gulf close. “Still mine?” Gulf looked into Mew’s eyes searching for sincerity. “Shai.” Gulf smiled as he felt his ears grow hot. “Still yours?” Gulf whispered leaning closer. “Shai. Always yours.” Gulf smiled into their kiss. “Come back over tonight?” Gulf hoped. “It will be late.” Gulf shrugged. “Please?” Mew smiled and kissed Gulf’s nose. “Shai. I’ll be here.” Gulf smiled contently but sighed sadly when Mew’s phone went off right at 6am. “I’ll be right down.” Mew answered then hung up the phone. “I missed you Tirak. I love you.” Gulf inhaled deeply as he buried his face in Mew’s neck. “See you later.” Mew kissed him deeply before stepping away ruffling his hair and leaving the condo. Mew said I love you just before the door shut closed.

Gulf padded back to the bedroom and grabbed his phone to line message Mew. He sent a sticker and said thank you. Mew responded with jub jub. Gulf spent the rest of the day waiting for Mew in higher spirits.
