"Severus! It's beautiful," Harry exclaimed. In the lowly lit room, the bright candles of the centerpiece danced off the greenery. "What's the occasion?"
"I wanted to celebrate the holidays," Severus admitted with a slight blush. "Something we have not had many chances to do together."
Harry leaned in for a soft kiss.
Dinner consisted of Harry's favorites, dessert a decadent chocolate gateau.
Harry leaned in to taste the chocolate on Severus' lips. "Delicious." He squeaked in surprise when Severus dragged Harry into his lap.
"I should check to see if you dripped chocolate anywhere," Severus purred with a lascivious grin.
