Christmas Tree Shopping

Summary:

Izuku and Hawks are shopping for a Christmas Tree. Lots of fluff. Thats it

Work Text:

Izuku was really looking forward to tree shopping with Keigo. They were supposed to go before the month started but Keigo got caught up with work. He couldn’t blame him, being a hero has its perks. But Izuku also got caught up in work. There were a couple of miscalculations on some support items and he had to go and take care of it which also meant pulling all nighters in his workshop. But now It’s the 1st of December and they finally have a chance to go out.

“So have you decided on a tree, Bunny. Or are we having a repeat of last year.” Keigo smirked before Izuku softly elbowed him. “Shut up. That wasn’t entirely my fault because you didn’t like any of my options.” Keigo held his hands up in surrender. “In my defense-” “Shut up Hawks.” Keigo feigned a look of hurt, to which Izuku rolled his eyes. “This year, I was thinking we should buy a tree that we put up together.” “Like the ones that come in a box?” “No Keigo. The ones that come in a bag.” Keigo pulled him into a hug before attacking him by tickling. “No! Stop! I’m sorry! I take it back! I didn’t mean it!” Izuku said while laughing and trying to get out of his grasp. “Bullshit, ‘Zuku! You meant it!” “Yes! I’m sorry!” Kiego stopped tickling him. By the time Izuku managed to catch his breath, he realized the position they were in. Keigo was towering over him with him in between Keigo’s legs and his hands on each side of his face and looking down at him with so much love in his eyes. Izuku couldn’t be happier. They both realized that they could stay in that position and not care about time, but Keigo’s arms were starting to feel heavy. “We should go get our tree, don’t you think?” Izuku nodded before both of them got up to make their way to the store.

“Ooh, how about this one! It’s got fake snow on it!” “No Bunny, it says that the snow is sold separately.” “Oh. Aww.” “Yeah the one with the fake snow is in the other aisle.” “Really!” “I don’t know, probably?” Keigo smirked while Izuku looked at him unimpressed. Keigo shot him a kiss which caused another eye roll from Izuku. “Oh, you know you love me.” “I don’t know. I’m having serious doubts right now.” “Aww, come on. You love me way too much. Admit it.” “Yeah, yeah.” Keigo grabbed his hand and took him to the other aisle where he indeed saw a Christmas Tree with fake snow already on it. “Look, see. I told you it’d be in this aisle.” Keigo showed if his famous smile and Izuku couldn’t help but smile back. It was the thing that made him fall for Kiego, his smile. “Yeah, yeah.” Izuku tiptoed to give him a kiss on the cheek. Keigo grabbed their tree and went to pay.

“I don’t think that one goes there.” “It says G7 and this is G7.” “Babe, that says G10, not G7.” “Fuck!” Izuku couldn’t help but laugh which caused Keigo to pout and sit like a child. “Oh god, I thought I was dating a Pro Hero, not a child.” “Funny, it’s sort off the same thing I said a few years ago. Oh wait, you were a child!” “I was 18!” “You were 17!” They both stared at each other seriously before they broke into laughter. Izuku walked over to Keigo and sat in his lap. Keigo wrapped his arms around his waist and pressed a kiss into his shoulder before resting his chin on said shoulder. “You know I love you right?” “Of course I do! I love you too, Keigo.” They stayed like that for a little while longer before Izuku said, “Come on, let’s finish putting up the tree.” Keigo hummed but made no movement in getting up. “So will this year’s colors be?” “Blue and White obviously.” “Blue and white? Why not Green and Gold?” “That was last year.” “No it wasn’t.”
