Chapter 1: Enter the Green Dragon
Notes:
Very self indulgent. Also this is my first ever fic on ao3! Hooray for me, I guess?
Chapter Text
The girl pushed the AUX cord into her phone, putting her headphones on and immediately hitting shuffle on her playlist.
"The wound heals, but it never does." The opening to Battle Scars. She knew this song well.
"That's cause you at war with. Love." The next line went, and that's when the bus pulled up in front of her.
"You at war with. Love." Rubber hitting metal once, twice, three times before she made her way to the back of the bus.
"These battle scars don't look like they're fading." She sat down at the very back of the bus, a place usually reserved for introverts and delinquents.
She was both.
"Move your ass." Came a voice.
She looked up, locking eyes with a ginger dude.
"Buzz off." She said, before looking back down at her phone.
The guy narrowed his eyes. "And who are you, so high and mighty, new kid?"
"My name is Tommy." She stated, glaring back up at him. "And I'm not gonna say it again. Buzz off."
The guy seemed shocked. No one had the audacity to stand up to him in the past. Well, there was one guy…
… One guy who's stop they had just arrived at.
"Colt Wallace, what are you doing?" Came the voice of one Jason Lee Scott.
The guy, Colt Wallace, it seemed, swallowed down his pride and made his way towards the front of the bus, keeping his head low.
Jason sat down in the seat across from Tommy.
"Sorry about him. He's just a dick." He told Tommy, trying to be friendly.
"I noticed." Tommy said, looking up at Jason. He was attractive, that was for sure. But he wasn't her type.
"Name's Jason." He leaned over the gap in the middle of the bus to offer his hand.
Tommy thought for a moment, before taking his hand and shaking it. "Tommy." She introduced.
"Tommy Oliver, you moved in from Reefside, right?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Got kicked out because I was late one too many times." She chuckled awkwardly.
"Well, at Angel Grove high, the teachers are a lot more lenient. Especially for a public school." Jason looked out the window.
The two continued chatting until they arrived at the school, where Jason introduced her to his friend Billy.
Tommy smiled at Billy when he began to ramble, knowing it was best to listen. And she was actually interested in the topic he was talking about.
-
Her first four classes went by without a hitch, and when she showed up with her lunch, she realized: everyone had already been sitting with their little groups.
Then, Jason waved Tommy over, which made Tommy smile just a little as she walked over to sit next to him.
"Tommy, these are my friends, Zack, Trini, and Kimberly." Jason introduced her to his friends.
She looked at each of them as Jason said their names. But then, her eyes landed on Kimberly. When they did, her breath hitched, and in her mind, she was screeching.
Tommy was reduced to a stuttering and blushing mess as she introduced herself to Kimberly, awkwardly tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.
Kim chuckled softly at Tommy. "You okay there?" She asked, waving a hand in front of Tommy's face.
"I, umm, yeah. I'm fine." Tommy nodded.
Trini raised an eyebrow, but she was also laughing at Tommy's awkwardness. She leaned over to whisper in Kim's ear.
"So, Tommy." Jason cleared his throat. "What's your next class?"
"I have biology." Tommy said, looking down at her schedule. "With… Truman."
"Oh, cool. Trini and I have him next period, too. Crazy, huh?" Kimberly chuckled.
Tommy took a few deep breaths. "Umm… yeah! Freaky coincidence, right?"
Trini nodded. "Yeah." She smiled at Kim fondly. "I'll be right back." She got up and began walking up to the office.
Tommy's breathing became heavier as Kimberly rested her hand on her knee beneath the table.
"So… what do you do for fun?" Kimberly asked, to which Jason began to converse with Zack quietly.
"I- um- I like to draw." Tommy admitted. She never told anyone about her drawing, especially not people she had just met.
"That's cool! I wish I was artistic." Kim chuckled. "Trini plays drums."
Tommy's eyes lit up at the mention of the guitar. "No way! I can play guitar!"
Kim laughed at Tommy's comment. "Really? That's epic! We could start a band. You on guitar, me on vocals, Trini on drums, Jason on backup vocals, Zack with his own drums, and Billy on lyrics."
Tommy thought for a moment. "Yeah. That sounds like a plan." She chuckled.
Kimberly's phone buzzed, and Kimberly pulled it out to check it. "Sorry to cut this short, but Trini needs some help." Kim smiled at Tommy before standing up and walking over to where Trini had been going.
Lunch was over a lot sooner than Tommy expected, and she made her way to biology with her head held high, though she still sat near the back of the class…
Right next to Trini, as she learned when the Latina sat down.
"Umm… hey, Trini." Tommy waved to her.
"Hey, Tommy. Sorry for bailing on you during lunch." Trini chuckled, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear, revealing a lipstick mark.
"You should probably clean that up." Tommy said, pulling a tissue out of her backpack and wiping away the lipstick.
Trini blushed. "Oh, thanks. I didn't notice that."
"It's no problem." Tommy shrugged, looking up to the teacher's whiteboard, which, surprisingly, was blank.
"Truman is a really lax teacher. Most days, we don’t even do lessons. She just lets us talk and play on our phones and stuff.” Trini leaned back in her chair.
Kimberly entered the room, sitting in the chair on Tommy’s other side as she looked back down at her empty notebook. If most days, we don’t do lessons… She trailed off, beginning to sketch on the first page, occasionally glancing over at Kimberly to reference her sketch.
It took about ten minutes for her to complete the sketch, and when it was done, she signed her name at the bottom right corner. She then tore out the page and handed it to Kimberly.
She lit up when she looked at the paper. “Wow, you did this?” She asked, looking over at Tommy. “It’s amazing!”
Tommy blushed. "Thanks." She chuckled softly.
“No problem.” Kim chuckled, folding the drawing carefully and placing it in her pocket.
Tommy turned to the next page in her notebook and looked to her other side, beginning to sketch Trini. She had nothing better to do, and just like last time, she only looked up to get a reference of the Latina. When she was done, she signed the bottom right corner and handed the sketch to Trini.
Trini took the sketch, looking over it with a content look on her face. "You're pretty good, Tommy." She smiled. "If your guitar is anything like your sketches, then the rest of us better watch out."
Tommy chuckled softly. "You really think so? I haven't practiced my guitar in a while, so I'm not sure if I have my old skills."
Trini let out a laugh. "If not, I'm sure you can find a good tutor."
"That costs money, Tri. In case you don't know, I'm completely and utterly broke." Tommy closed her notebook as she leaned back in her chair.
Trini gave her a playful punch on the arm, just before the teacher finally entered the room.
"Sorry class!" Mrs. Truman called from the front of the room. "I don't have a lesson today, so just… do your thing." She chuckled awkwardly. "If you have any questions, I'm just up here at my desk."
Tommy looked back over at Trini, truly taking the Latina in for the first time. And like an addictive drug, she was hooked.
Not just on Trini, but on Kimberly, too.
"Hey, Tri, Kim… my family said I could have a couple of friends over for the night. If it were okay with your parents, you could come over." Tommy said to them, looking down at her feet once she was finished.
Trini smiled brightly. "I'd love to! Grid, anything to get away from my family."
Tommy raised an eyebrow at the word "grid", but kept her mouth shut. "I can give you guys my phone number."
"That'd be great!" Kimberly pulled out her phone, quickly taking a picture of Tommy (who was already posing) and opening her contacts app and handing her phone over to Tommy.
Tommy typed in her number, handing the phone back to Kimberly when she was done. “I’m pretty sure you’ll just be able to add Trini and I to a group chat and we can get each other’s numbers from there.”
Kimberly nodded. “Gotcha. Well, I hope to see you there.” She smiled, just as the bell rang for them to get to their next class.

One ring, two, then came the voice of Kimberly Hart.
“Hey, Tommy!” She greeted cheerfully. “My parents said I could stay over at your place for the night. But they want to meet you in the morning or sometime after school.”
Tommy sighed in relief. “Yeah, that’ll work.” She smiled, though it wasn’t visible to Kimberly. “I’ll text you my address.”
“Actually, you’re a couple of blocks away from Jason’s place. You two ride the bus together, right?” Kimberly asked from the other end.
“Yeah, actually.” Tommy chuckled. “I’ll stand outside so you know where I am.” She offered.
“Perfect.” Kimberly seemed to be happy. “I’ll see you soon.”
“See you soon, sexy.” Tommy paled and immediately hung up, throwing her phone onto her bed. Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit was the only thought going through her head.
Her phone lit up again, this time with a call from an unknown number. Against her better judgement, she picked it up and answered.
“Hey, Tommy.” Trini’s voice rang true. “I just got a text from Kim... that… umm… you called her sexy?”
“Fuck.” Tommy cursed, letting out a deep sigh. “Yeah, I did.”
A quiet sound came from the other end, to which Tommy gasped in horror.
“Are you laughing?” She asked, anger bubbling in her stomach.
“This shit is funny!” Trini said on the other end. “Kim’s gonna be crying with laughter when she gets to your place.”
“Fuck you.”
"I'm on my way." Trini giggled, hanging up the phone.
Tommy cursed under her breath as Trini hung up, quickly running around the house and making sure everything was perfect for their arrival.
A knock on the door, and both Trini and Kimberly had arrived.
"Hey guys." Tommy said, smiling at them. "Welcome to my humble abode."
Trini chuckled, and Kimberly looked as if she was trying not to laugh.
"Humble abode? When you called me sexy earlier?" She seemed unimpressed, but she pecked Tommy on the cheek as she entered.
Trini followed suit, shutting the door behind her. "We're not doing anything boring, are we?"
"Unless you'd call illegally downloading a few R rated movies boring…" Tommy trailed off.
Trini's eyes visibly lit up. "Let's go!" She grabbed Tommy and Kim's wrists, dragging them up the stairs and into what she assumed was Tommy's room.
She was right, considering that there were posters of a few popular bands, like the Rebel Rockers, Fall Out Boy and AC/DC on her walls.
Tommy shut the door with her foot as she sighed, walking over and flopping on the bed. "Wait, I had the NASA launch recorded. We could watch that, first."
"Great idea!" Kim clapped, reaching for the remote and turning the TV on. The NASA launch from earlier in the day was already on, so they got to watch it in its entirety.

POV Switch
(WARNING: GORE, BLOOD, DEATH)
Floating in the zero gravity of the first Earth-based starship, dubbed the Astroship M1, Karone hovered over her workspace as she clacked away at the keys on her laptop.
Suddenly, the alarms began to blare, which caused her to jump and release her laptop, which would normally have come crashing to the ground.
Karone floated out of her work room, pushing off the wall and into the hallway, holding onto her laptop.
"D.E.C.A., activate the artificial gravity." She said to the onboard A.I.
Karone made sure to keep her feet facing the ground before the artificial gravity turned on.
She walked into the engine room, where she almost screamed at the sight.
Her commanding officer (and her older brother) Andros lay there, his throat cut and still bleeding. But that wasn't the worst part.
No, the worst part was that there was a gaping hole, going clean through his chest and back.
As she gasped in horror, she heard a laugh. No, not a laugh, more like a low, evil chuckle.
"Such a pretty thing. It would be a shame to harm a flower such as yourself." Came a raspy, gravelly voice.
Karone stiffened at the voice, keeping herself quiet and waiting for the voice to disappear.
"You know the phrase "keep one alive to tell the tale"? I personally live by that…" The voice spoke again. "You will be the one… all alone, with no one to believe you."
With a maniacal laugh, Karone was knocked unconscious, the entire ship going black around her.
Chapter 3: Enter Zedd
Summary:
You finally get to see Zedd, and Karone musters up the bravery to try and get back to Earth. Meanwhile, we get more gay disaster Tommy and smooth flirt Kimberly
Chapter Text
When Karone awoke in her quarters aboard the Astroship M1, she thought that the occurrence that had taken place was merely a dream. She made a note that the artificial gravity was still active (though Andros preferred to have it on if no one else was doing something that required it) and assumed that everyone had finished their daily tasks and were having coffee at the bridge.
She made her way to the front, maintaining a conversation with D.E.C.A. as she passed by her brother's room (though she didn't enter.)
When she reached the bridge, she was met with a horrific sight.
It was tall, slender, and it had no skin. It was made completely of muscle, with blood dripping from its long, bony, sharp fingers.
It had a mask made of metal, with one singular red dot in the middle of its face.
Karone nearly screamed at it, but she didn't, instead remaining silent as it circled a body.
"The Rangers in Angel Grove called her Rita Repulsa." She whispered to herself, noting that the horrifying creature before her seemed to be in mourning.
Karone silently made her way to the engine room- making note that this thing apparently a) could feel grief and b) knew Rita Repulsa well enough to be mourning her death.
"D.E.C.A., run a diagnostic test for the whole system. Shut down engines one and three, then lock down the bridge." She stated, taking a deep breath. "Then make arrangements for landing with the ground."
"Running diagnosis." Came the robotic voice. After a couple minutes, she was given a response. "All systems besides ground audio and video communications are operational."
Karone sighed in relief. "Great. Send a coded message down to the ground team. Let them know I'm coming down."
"Yes miss." D.E.C.A. responded, quickly coding a message and sending it down to the ground team.
Then came the sound of scraping metal, most likely the door to the bridge.
Karone took a deep breath, before grabbing a gun off the wall and entering the hallway, pointing it at the door to the bridge.

POV Switch
"That was epic!" Kimberly clapped, flopping back on the bed.
Trini gave Kimberly a look, which prompted her to say something to Tommy.
Tommy, who was currently sketching the two of them once again, though instead of them being separate, she was drawing them sitting on the bed together, looking at the TV.
"Hey, Tommy…" Kimberly moved to sit next to her on the ground. "You're pretty cute."
The comment shocked Tommy, so much so that her pencil left a mark going through Trini's face. "What the fuck."
Kim laughed at Tommy's awkwardness. "I'm serious! You're so cute and talented and not to mention, you're smoking hot."
Tommy took a few deep breaths, before closing her notebook. "That's… a lot to take in."
Trini moved on Tommy's other side. "Well, Kim isn't the only one." She giggled, wrapping an arm around Tommy's shoulders.
"Okay, first, it's Kimberly at lunch, putting her hand on my knee-" Tommy was cut off.
"You did what?" Trini narrowed her eyes at Kimberly.
"And now your arm is around me." Tommy seemed to be freaking out internally (and externally). "You guys have no idea how much of a gay disaster I am."
"Oh, good. You are into girls." Kim giggled. "Makes this a lot easier on me." She gently turned Tommy's head to face her, before pressing their lips together.
The woman froze up for a moment, before melting and kissing her back. But after a moment, she was torn away from the kiss by Trini, who barely gave Tommy time to catch her breath before she was pulled into another kiss (though this one was closer to a makeout session than a kiss.)
After a moment, Tommy pulled away. "What on Earth just happened?" She asked no one in particular.
"You just got kissed by Trini and I?" Kimberly raised an eyebrow.
"I made out with her, I didn't just kiss her." Trini chuckled, pecking Kimberly on the cheek.
Tommy rubbed her eyes, running a hand through her dark locks. "Holy shit." She said softly.
Both Trini and Kimberly let out a laugh.
"It's getting late, we should probably head to bed." Tommy stood up, walking and laying on her bed. "Do you two… wanna cuddle?" She raised an eyebrow.
The two other women shared a look, before looking back at Tommy.
"I call little spoon!" Trini jumped to the left side, while Kim got in on the right.
"Looks like I'm middle spoon, then." Tommy climbed over Kimberly to be between her and Trini, wrapping her arm around the latter and resting her head on the Latina's shoulder.
Kim pressed a kiss to Tommy's shoulder, resting her forehead against the woman's back. "You really are one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen."
Tommy blushed, but managed to get a smile out.
-
The next morning, Tommy was still between Trini and Kimberly, though the other two were still sleeping.
She quietly got herself out of bed and went downstairs, mind set on making breakfast for the two. She quickly poured a bowl of cereal for herself before setting to work on mixing the pancake batter together.
After ten minutes of silent work, she flipped three pancakes each onto two separate plates, pouring a layer of maple syrup onto each before taking them back upstairs and entering her room. "I made you two breakfast." She whispered in each of their ears.
Trini groaned softly, but sat up and looked at Tommy. "You didn't have to, but that was sweet." She said with a smile.
Kimberly awoke next, with quite the case of bedhead, yawning softly. "Mmmmmm… morning Trini. Morning Tommy." She opened her eyes. "Oh, you made breakfast."
Tommy chuckled and set the plate on Kimberly's lap as she sat up. "I already ate, you two go ahead."
Trini wasted no time, digging into the stack of pancakes when Tommy gave her the green light.
Kimberly preferred a gentler approach, cutting the food and stabbing it with her fork. "Oh my God. This is amazing."
Tommy chuckled softly, smiling over at Kimberly. "Thanks. My mom taught me to cook and bake and stuff, so over the years I've gotten pretty good at it." When she mentioned her mom, her tone seemed sadder.
Trini set her plate down, moving next to Tommy and wrapping her arm around the other woman. "Hey, it's okay. We've got you."
Kimberly moved next to her as well, resting her head on Tommy's shoulder. "We're always here for you, Tommy. Just know that if you need anything, both of us will come running."
Tommy nodded. "Thanks. Both of you." She leaned back on the bed, looking up at the ceiling. "So, what should we do?"
Trini thought for a moment, before noticing a guitar in Tommy's closet. "Well… let's hear how you play."
Tommy smirked, sitting up and getting out of bed. "I like your thinking."
-
As the three of them walked to the school, Tommy couldn't shake the feeling someone was watching her. She shook her head and walked into the building, immediately kissing both Kimberly and Trini on the cheek as she headed towards her homeroom.
"Alright, class." Her homeroom teacher, Mr. Grayson, leaned against his desk. "I want each of you to pick a partner."
Luckily, Tommy shared her homeroom with Kimberly, who immediately moved to sit next to her.
Tommy chuckled. "So… what does Mr. Grayson want us to do?" She asked, leaning over to whisper to Kimberly.
"Not sure, but he does this every time something crazy happens. Last time, it was a giant robot in the middle of the city."
Tommy's eyes widened at the mention of a giant robot, but made no comment on it. "Did you hear what happened to the Astroship M1?"
"Yeah. It was attacked while in orbit, right?" Kim whispered.
"Yeah. Only one survivor. The commander's younger sister." Tommy sighed as Mr. Grayson began to speak.
"Alright. As you all know, last week, there was a NASA launch of the first man-made starship, the Astroship M1. Now, this morning, we learned that it was attacked while in orbit." Grayson spoke, but was interrupted by a student entering the room.
"Mr. Grayson, sorry to interrupt. Can I borrow Kimberly for a moment?" The voice of Jason spoke.
Kimberly stood up, walking over to Jason. "It'll be fast, I promise." She said to Mr. Grayson as she exited the room with Jason.
-
The rest of homeroom went by without anyone else leaving, nor did Kimberly or Jason return.
As the bell rang for her to go to her first class, the feeling of someone watching her returned. She shook her head, walking to the courtyard to get some fresh air before her next class.
Before she could react, the sky went black and Tommy could barely see.
"You… you will do nicely." A gravelly voice spoke from above her.
Tommy rolled her eyes. "And who the hell are you?"
Suddenly, Tommy couldn't move. She craned her neck to try and view her attacker. She was greeted not with Colt Wallace, but a tall, slender figure with a single red dot for an eye.
"Aww, gross." Tommy mimicked a gag. "What the hell are you?"
The figure jumped down from the top of the building, circling Tommy like a predator.
"I… I am your master. I am Lord Zedd." It spoke, though there was no mouth to speak from.
Tommy stiffened to try and get away from Zedd, but to no avail.
Then, a large silver object hit her in the back of the head (she could see the reflection through the glass) and everything went dark.
-
When she came to, everything had a metallic tone. There was a single window looking outside, which showed a starry sky.
"How long was I out?" She asked herself.
"Only about twenty of your Earth minutes." Zedd's voice spoke, his body coming into view.
Tommy rolled her eyes. "Then why is it the middle of the night?"
"Is it night, though?" Zedd's dot dimmed, as if it were an eye narrowing.
Tommy sighed. "I can clearly see it's the middle of the-" she cut herself off when she looked out the window again, seeing the Earth come into view. "You kidnapped me and took me to space?" She almost lost her temper right there, but decided against it.
"Obviously." Zedd's dot brightened, then dimmed, as if he was rolling his eyes. "Now, I think it's time that you," he got into Tommy's face, "start working for me."
"Uh, hell no." Tommy rolled her eyes.
"I wasn't asking." Zedd slammed his staff against the floor, and a green energy encased Tommy.
She began to struggle, before her she looked into the window. Instead of her normal brown eyes looking back at her…
She saw green.
Chapter 4: Awakening the Beast Within
Chapter Text
Back on Earth, Kim and Jason were morphed, taking on putties as Billy and Zordon were trying to figure out how to separate the Megazord back into the original five zords.
"Jason, need a hand?" The voice of Trini said over their built in communications.
"Trini, good to hear you." Jason sighed in relief as the Latina flipped over him, shattering a few putties.
"Alright, I think that's all of them." Kim sighed in relief as she made her way down the cliff and to the ship, with Trini and Jason following behind.
When they entered Zordon's chamber, Zack and Billy were already there.
"Zordon, what's going on?" Jason asked, allowing his armor to retract back into his body.
"I was afraid this would happen." Zordon said, moving from one side to the other of his wall in several movements. "Rita said that others would come for the crystal, and she was right."
"W-what do you mean? Who is this person?" Kim shook her head, retracting her mask.
"His name is Lord Zedd." Zordon sighed.
The energy in the middle of the room began to change, to which Billy turned to read it.
"Zedd is a power hungry monster. He destroyed Zordon's home planet." Billy leaned in closer to get a better look. "It looks like he and Rita knew each other, even before she betrayed Zordon." He looked up at Zordon for confirmation.
"Yes, it's true. Zedd was the one responsible for Rita becoming corrupted." Zordon nodded.
"So… this dude is after the Zeo Crystal, too?" Zack raised an eyebrow.
"Yes." Billy interrupted. "Zedd was one of the first to come after the crystal."
"You need to stop him. Before he finds someone to take Rita's place as the Green Ranger." Alpha told them, before the energy in the middle of the room changed again.
"We're too late. He's already gotten someone." Billy looked into the energy once again. "Kim, Trini, you might want to see who it is."
The two women walked over to where Billy was, and both gasped in horror as they saw the face of Tommy.
"You know this person?" Zordon asked the two.
"Yeah. We slept over with her last night." Kim sighed. "This is a problem."
"What's an even bigger problem is what she's wearing." Billy pointed to a gold shield over Tommy's armor, and a dagger in her hands. "That's an issue."
"The Green Ranger has their own zord, a powerful creature called the Dragonzord." Alpha told them, which gained the attention of Jason.
"Is there a way we can use that against Zedd?" The Red Ranger asked, looking down in thought.
"If you can break the spell Zedd has on Tommy, then maybe you can convince her to join us." Zordon looked over the team of five. "Good luck, Rangers. And may the Power protect you."
Jason nodded. "Do you guys know what time it is?"
Kim smirked, and nodded. "It's morphin time!"
-
Tommy leapt from the top of a building, morphing about halfway down and landing with a graceful kneel.
Her armor was green, with the black and purple galaxy emblazed on her chest. But the most impressive part was the gold infused throughout the armor, completely covering the top half of her chest like a shield.
She drew her dagger just as the other five rangers showed up in full armor.
"So… you've come. Honestly, I expected you to be smarter than this." Tommy let out a dark chuckle. "You see, you've met your match."
"I wouldn't count us out just yet." Kim shrugged, breaking into a sprint to attack Tommy.
The green armored woman caught her, but didn't attack, merely tossing Kim to the side.
Kim looked down at the ground, as if in thought while Tommy engaged in a fight with the other rangers.
Trini wasn't getting in on the action very much either. It seemed Tommy preferred to attack the others, instead of her and Kim. She took this time to run over and help Kim to her feet.
"You okay?" She asked when Kim was up.
"Yeah, fine. Tommy's going all out with the guys, but not against us." Kim shook her head. "I have no idea why."
Chapter 5: Not All That Glitters is Gold
Notes:
Here's just a soft chapter with Trimberly, Pearl being adorable, and two of the parents of the Rangers. Please, enjoy!
Chapter Text
Jason was being supported by Kim as they entered his house. Sam was out on a fishing trip and Beverely and Pearl were currently at Beverely’s mother’s house, so they were fine for the moment.
"Shit, your girlfriend is tough." Zack muttered, rolling his shoulder. "Everything hurts."
"Not our girlfriend." Trini and Kim said in unison. Kim ran into the bathroom and came back with a first aid kit.
"Whatever she is, she kicked our asses." Jason groaned.
"She busted you guys up." Kim sighed, bandaging up his shoulder as Trini worked on Billy's back. Tommy had banged all three of them up.
"Yeah, I can tell." Billy sighed. "How will we explain these to our parents?"
"Wear long sleeve shirts for the next few days. The coins will have worked their magic by that point." Kim muttered. "Jason, you'll need to avoid using your left arm."
"Did she break it?" Jason asked, using his right arm to push himself off the bed.
"It's only fractured, but we don't want to press our luck." Kim closed up the medkit. "Trini, you need it?"
"Nah, Zack is mostly okay. Just a concussion and a few bruises, but those are common for him." Trini sighed. "Who knew Tommy was so good at fighting?"
"She did have the confidence to stand up to Colt on the bus her first day." Jason pointed out.
Kim sighed. "You guys get some rest. I need to get home before mom and dad get worried."
"I'm coming with, princess." Trini stood up. "You guys take it easy. If Jason's mom and sister get here, tell them you decided to spend a night over here."
"Gotcha." Zack chuckled weakly, before passing out on the couch.
-
"Kimberly, oh my God, you're okay." Kimberly's mother, Maddy Hart, rushed forward to hug her daughter.
"Mom, I'm fine, I promise." Kim chuckled.
"You had me worried there." Maddy pulled away, before turning to Trini. "Oh, good, she's okay, too." She pulled Trini into a hug as well.
Trini just stood there awkwardly and accepted the hug. "Alrighty then." She mumbled.
"Kimberly, your stepfather is out until Thursday," Kimberly sighed in relief, "so you two are welcome to the house. I have to run and check up on a friend of mine after that debacle downtown." Maddy looked at the two of them. "If that asshole in green comes back, you two give them Hell, okay?"
Trini and Kimberly shared a look.
"Mom, how would we-" Kimberly began, but was cut off by her mother.
"You always run off when a monster or an ass like that fake ranger appears. It doesn't take a genius to put two and two together." Maddy chuckled, before grabbing her keys. "Are the boys okay?"
"A little banged up, but they'll live. The coins help us heal faster." Kim pulled her coin out and set it on the table.
"That's good." Maddy pecked Kim on the cheek. "Be safe."
"Kinda hard when you're an intergalactic warrior tasked with protecting all life on Earth." Trini chuckled, to which she also got a motherly kiss on the cheek.
"You two better check up on the boys." Maddy opened the door, holding it for the two younger women.
Kim pulled Trini into her car and started it up. "Mom, be careful."
"I raised you, didn't I?" Maddy chuckled, locking the door before getting in her car and pulling out of the driveway.
-
Kim pulled into the driveway of Jason's house, and Trini hopped out and went inside.
"Jason, are you okay?" Beverly asked, looking over his arms and back.
"Mom, I got into a bit of a fight at school. I'm fine." Jason sighed, trying to shoo his mother away with one hand.
"Trini, Kimberly, oh thank God." Beverly sighed in relief as the two young women entered.
"What's going on here?" Kim asked, looking between Jason and his mother.
"Jason said he got into a fight at school. Was it that Colt Wallace kid again?" She asked, running a hand through her hair. "I should call the police on that kid. He's a bully! Poor Billy."
"Mom, it wasn't Colt this time, I swear." Jason rubbed his forehead. "Grid, you're so paranoid." He muttered.
"It was this newer kid, Lauren Shiba. She kicked his ass. Mostly because Jason was trying to be honorable and not fight her." Kimberly lied. She knew Lauren- she was a sweet girl, but very competitive and attached to her friends more than anything in the world. Well, there's one person who can top her friends… her brother, Jayden.
"I knew I raised him right." Beverly ruffled her son's hair. "I'm gonna get you guys some food. Are you two staying over as well?" She asked Trini and Kim.
"Umm… Why not?" Kim shrugged.
"You two can stay up in the guest bedroom while Billy and Zack stay with Jason." Beverly smiled, before entering the kitchen.
Kim sighed in relief once Beverly was out of earshot. Then, she had an idea. She knelt down. "Pearl, sweetie, where are you?"
A little blonde girl ran into the room. "Kimberly!" She giggled, running into Kim's arms.
"Hey, kiddo." Kim chuckled, squeezing Pearl gently. "How are you doing?"
"I've been a good girl! Gramma told me so!" Pearl giggled some more.
"That's good." Trini knelt down as well. "Have you been taking care of your brother?"
"Yep!" Pearl turned and hugged Trini, to which Trini hugged back.
"Good! Jason needs someone to keep him in line." The latina smiled and laughed a bit, before gently pulling away from Jason's little sister.
Pearl jumped up and down. "You guys are my bestest friends!"
"Hey, what am I, then?" Jason squatted down to his little sister.
Pearl stroked her chin for a moment, as if in thought. "My big brother!"
Jason chuckled softly. "Alright. I can live with that." He said.
Pearl nodded once, before running out of the room and up the stairs to her bedroom.
"She's a cutie." Kim chuckled as she stood up, pulling Trini with her.
"She is." Beverly agreed as she entered the room. "Alright, Sam gets home just before dinner, so you five can go and get the guest room ready." She gave the group a warm smile.
"You got it, Mrs. Scott." Kim and Trini went up the stairs and into the guest bedroom. "Do you wanna run and tell your parents you'll be staying over with me for the night?"
Trini sighed. "I'll be grounded until I graduate otherwise. Yeah." She groaned, but pecked Kim on the cheek. "Don't worry. We'll be in tip-top shape if Tommy shows up again."
"I sure as hell hope so." Kim mumbled, setting her bag down and laying back on the bed. "I hope we can break whatever spell Zedd has over her."
"Same here." Trini rolled on top of Kim, with their faces only a few inches apart. "Though I hope she doesn't mind us… sampling the goods, if you will."
Kim chuckled, before leaning up and pressing her lips against the latina's, wrapping her arms around Trini's neck.
They ended up missing dinner. After a makeout session, they fell asleep, Kim cuddled against Trini's back.

Trini unlocked the door to her house, and was immediately met with her mother's bear hug.
"I was so worried! Are you okay? What happened? Did you have sex? Was Kimberly with you?" June Gomez bombarded her daughter with questions, to which Trini shook her head.
"One question at a time, please, mom." Trini muttered, rubbing an arm. "Yes, got in a fight, no, yes." She replied.
"A fight? With who?" June demanded.
"Did you win, sweetheart?" Her dad said from the couch, not looking up from his newspaper.
"I can't believe you're condoning this!" June said to her husband.
"No, I didn't win, dad. But I got a few good hits in." Trini smirked, sitting down on the couch across from her father.
"Green was never my favorite color anyways." Her dad shrugged.
"What does the color green have to do with our daughter getting into a fight?" June yelled at her husband.
"It doesn't." Trini said.
"Tranquilo!" June yelled at her daughter, causing the short girl to flinch.
"Don't yell at her." Trini's father set down his newspaper, rising to his full height. "I can tolerate you yelling at me, but the moment you yell at her, I draw the line." He sighed, sitting next to Trini. "You wanna get some food?"
Trini gave a nod as she silently began to cry.
Her father glared up at June, before standing back up and offering a hand to the Yellow Ranger. "I know a place that'll cheer you up."
-
"Thanks, dad." Trini chuckled softly, taking a bite of Chinese food.
"Just because she yells at you doesn't mean it's okay, my little bumblebee." Her dad patted her on the shoulder. "I used to be in the military, you know. There's something I'd like to teach you."
"The karate kid strikes again." Trini laughed. "Come on, dad. Just because you know that I'm a ranger doesn't mean you need to protect me. The armor does most of the work for you."
"I'm serious, Trini!" Mr. Gomez laughed. "Always mind your surroundings. If you need a weapon, pull out a goddamn stop sign for all I care."
"I might just do that." Trini nodded, finishing her plate. "I'll be sure to kick her ass next time."
"Yeah. This envious knockoff is clearly someone who knows what they're doing, but I believe in my little bumblebee."
"Float like a butterfly…" Trini began.
"Sting like a bee." Her dad finished.
-
“What was it you said? “Tommy won’t go too hard against us?” How’s that working out for us!?" Kim yelled across the street as Tommy attacked her with a dagger.
"Oh, shut up!" Trini groaned, kicking Tommy in the back and knocking her face first into the ground.
The woman in green threw her dagger at Trini, only for it to be caught by… another ranger?
Indeed, standing between Trini and Tommy, holding the latter's dagger was a ranger, wearing white armor and a gold shield not unlike Tommy's over her top half.
"Uh… thanks." Trini said, shaking her head and stepping on Tommy's ankle.
"Ow! Son of a bitch, that hurts." The Green Ranger muttered, trying to pull herself free. "Damnit, Deedee, let me off!"
"Nope." Trini smirked under her helmet.
The White Ranger stared at Tommy, before disappearing in a flash of light.
Kim pulled the coin out of Tommy's belt, causing the Native woman to demorph as Trini knocked her out.
"Let's get her to Zordon so he can find a way to reverse whatever spell Zedd's got on her." Kim said, looking up at the sun.
"Good idea." Trini nodded, wrapping Tommy's arm around her shoulders and making her way towards the mines.
-
As they entered the bridge of the ship, the mysterious White Ranger turned to face them.
"Okay, she's back." Trini mumbled as she set Tommy on the floor. "Can you get the spell off of her?"
"Yes. Luckily, she's very far away from Zedd, so this will be easy." Zordon nodded. Green light began to pulsate throughout the room as it absorbed into Tommy.
After the light faded, a few beats passed where nothing happened. As Kim turned to leave, Tommy gasped and sat up. "Dear Grid, what happened?"
"At least she already knows to swear to the Morphing Grid." Trini chuckled, before kneeling down and pulling Tommy into a tight hug. "I like you better when you're not trying to kill me."
"I like me better when I'm not trying to kill you, too, Trin." Tommy hugged back as Kim joined their embrace. "Now you guys wouldn't happen to know the son of a bitch who mind controlled me, would you?"
"Actually…" Kim trailed off, pulling away from the hug and tossing Tommy's coin to the aforementioned woman. "We do."
"Good, because I've got a dagger with his name on it." Tommy smirked, placing her coin back in her pocket. "It's time for the Power Rangers to update their roster a bit."
Notes:
In which the author is extremely sorry for not updating sooner
In all seriousness, I kinda lost inspiration for this fic until last night, where I had a hyperactive burst of energy and inspiration at almost 10 at night. But hey, whatever writes your fic, right?
Chapter Text
“You’ve got the strength and the training, but you need the control to back it up, otherwise you’ll end up launching yourself into the vacuum of space or pulling a building down on yourself.” Trini wrapped some bandaging around her hands, tossing the wrap to Tommy when she was done.
Tommy rubbed her shoulder, grabbing the bandaging and wrapping it around her hands. "You know, I'm kinda starting to regret letting you train me." She grumbled. She'd had bruises along her arms and back for the past week ever since her training began. "Come on, isn't there anything we get to do? I know being a Ranger is about honorable justice and selflessness and all that stuff, but like, don't we get something cool?"
"We get the Zords." Trini smirked, cracking her knuckles. "If you can last five minutes sparring with me, I'll take you to see them."
"What are the Zords?" Tommy raised an eyebrow, getting into her sparring stance. The two danced around each other, trading blows here and there as they talked.
"I suppose you'll get to find out if you can last another…" she trailed off, calculating the remaining time in her head. "Three minutes and twenty-four seconds."
"It's scary how you can do that." Tommy mumbled, ducking under a blow and swiping under the latina's legs, wrapping her knees around the shorter girl's torso and throwing her to the ground.
"Looks like you've got some undisclosed talent." Kim said from the sidelines. "Glad to have you back."
"Trust me, glad to be back. Even with the white shadow watching my every move." She thumbed to the White Ranger, who was leaning in the shadows.
The White Ranger hadn't spoken a word until this point, but it was at this moment they spoke in a distinctly feminine voice. "It's because I'm worried that Zedd still has a marginal grip on you. And that scares me."
Tommy's eyes widened as she heard the White Ranger speak. When she spoke, it was a mix of shock and concern.
"Artemis?"
-
“You know who this is?” Kimberly said, looking between the two demorphed rangers.
“Yeah. Artemis is my sister.” Tommy crossed her arms. “Though my only question is how the hell you managed to get your hands on a Power Coin.”
“Zordon teleported me in. He gave me the coin and told me that I needed to help you guys.” Artemis mumbled, rubbing her arm. “I thought you needed help. I was getting worried.”
“As usual, my parents don’t care.” Tommy mumbled, pulling her legs up to her chest.
“Just because they don’t care doesn’t mean I don’t.” Artemis rested her hand on her sister’s shoulder.
Tommy nodded. “I’m gonna take a shower.” She announced, standing up and walking out of the ship.
“I should probably get home. Mom says that if I’m not home by five every day then I’m grounded for a week.” Trini pulled Kim into a hug.
Kim pressed a kiss to Trini’s forehead. “Okay. See you at detention tomorrow?”
Trini nodded. “Yeah. I’ll be there.”
-
Tommy took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she pressed a cool towel to her latest bruise from Trini. She didn’t regret training with one of the most beautiful women she’d ever met, but she was going to have words about going to school covered in bruises. The teachers were starting to get worried about her home situation.
“Thomas Oliver, get down here!” Her mother called.
“For the last goddamn time, my name is not Thomas!” Tommy yelled, the entire house shaking from the power of her voice. “And until you can respect my name and my pronouns, you are going to be removed indefinitely from my life!”
Enough had become enough. Tommy grabbed her very few possessions, packed them up in her backpack, and opened the window. She looked over her room one last time, before jumping out and into the street.
-
Tommy took a deep breath, knocking on the door to Kimberly's house. She kept her hopes low as she waited for someone to answer the door.
When the door opened, it wasn't Kimberly. "Who the hell are you?" The man demanded.
"I'm a friend of your daughter." Tommy said quickly, holding onto her bag like a lifeline. "My parents kicked me out after I came out to them."
"Kimberly!" The man yelled for his daughter. "Your friend is here!”
The familiar face of Tommy’s (girl?) friend caused Tommy’s face to soften.
“Tommy.” Kim sighed in relief, pulling the taller woman into a hug. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah. My parents kicked me out.” The native woman sighed, holding onto Kim.
“You’re welcome to stay here until you get back on your feet. Maddy will be overjoyed that you’re staying with us. She’s been cooking enough to feed a legion lately.” Kimberly’s stepfather stated, opening the door a bit more.
Tommy nodded, taking a few slow steps into the large house. “This… is a lot nicer than my house.”
“It’s yours for as long as you’d like.” Kim smiled, pecking Tommy on the cheek.
It was at that moment both she and Kim collapsed on the ground from simultaneous headaches- a message from Zordon.
An escape pod is accelerating towards Mariner Bay at an alarming rate. You two need to get there. The sage’s voice spoke in their minds.
Tommy shook her head, standing up. “We need to get to Mariner Bay.”
“Kid, you just collapsed on the floor. What you need is rest and water.” Kim’s stepfather helped the two of them up.
“Trini and I were actually planning on going to that Rebel Rockers concert tonight. She grabbed tickets and everything.” Kim covered up for Tommy, palming her coin.
Kimberly’s stepfather let out a sigh, but relented. “Back by 2.”
“Got it.” Kim smiled, grabbing her keys and walking out to the garage, Tommy following behind closely.
The lights turned on, revealing a black and pink Bugatti. Tommy let out an appreciative whistle. “Dayum, girl. You’re gonna have to hook me up with a green Challenger one of these days."
"In your dreams. We've got a Challenger in the back and we can take it for a paint job one of these days." Kim chuckled, getting into the driver's seat and starting the engine. "She runs like a dream."
"I can tell. She's purring." Tommy chuckled, getting in on the other side and buckling up. "The Rebel Rockers actually have a concert tonight and I'll be damned if we miss it."
"I wasn't lying about Trini having tickets, either. Stole them off Bulk and Skull this morning." Kim chuckled.
The two continued to converse until they arrived at Mariner Bay, a large, steaming hunk of metal at the edge of the water.
Kim and Tommy shared a look, before running down to the metal and finding a woman there.
"Power Rangers, thank goodness I found you." She said weakly.
"Who are you?" Kim demanded, holding herself in a defensive position.
Before the woman could respond, a silver blade had suddenly sprouted from her chest.
Notes:
I know, I know. I have no right keeping you guys waiting. But! I get out of class June 10th, and work has pretty much given me paid vacation for the next six months, so that's pretty damn cool. But that means you'll be seeing more of Tomberini!
Chapter 8: Courage of a Wolf
Chapter Text
Tommy took a deep breath, keeping her eyes closed. The public park was abandoned at this hour of the night, meaning that she was completely alone.
Or at least, she should have been.
“Mind if I take a seat?” A masculine voice said from next to her.
Tommy jumped, placing a hand on her chest. “Go ahead, it’s not my park.” She said, going back to her meditation.
The man took a seat next to her, crossing his legs and placing his hands in an “o” formation as he meditated. “My name is RJ.”
“I don’t know if you’ve ever meditated before, but there’s not normally this much talking.” Tommy looked over at RJ.
“I’m in complete harmony with my animal spirit, Tommy.” RJ chuckled. “I’ve been meditating since before you were born.”
“Wow.” Tommy mumbled, shaking her head. “Wait, animal spirit?”
“Yeah. Wolf.” RJ nodded. “Strength, speed, stealth, courage, power, and spirit.” He stated. “There’s a lot of us. Masters of our animal spirits. I’m one of the only ones who live in this area.”
"One of the only ones implies that there's at least one other in the area." Tommy raised an eyebrow. "C'mon. Spill."
"His name is Casey. He works at Jungle Karma Pizza, down the road from the high school." RJ said, before he stood up. "See you around, Tommy."
Tommy gave him a two fingered salute. "See you around."
-
"Weirdest thing happened last night." Tommy said as she made her way back into Kim's room. "I was in the park-"
"You were in the park at three in the morning?" Kim raised an eyebrow as she undressed, stepping into the shower. "That's not creepy at all."
"Ha ha, babe. Very funny." Tommy rolled her eyes playfully. "I wasn't the only person there. This guy-"
"WHAT?" Kim roared, stepping out of the shower, wrapping herself in a towel before looking over Tommy. "Are you hurt?"
"No, no, I'm fine!" Tommy assured her girlfriend, raising her hands in surrender. "He was chill. Introduced himself as… RJ? I think?"
"Oh, yeah. He's a teacher at the local dojo. Taught Trini and I kung fu." Kim nodded, before stepping back into the shower.
Tommy had managed to hide the blush on her face as she let out a sigh of relief.
"So, what did he say?" Kim asked as she started the water.
"Just something about animal spirits and how he's in complete harmony with his." Tommy shrugged. "I'm gonna go grab breakfast."
"You do that." Kim said from inside the shower. "Trini's gonna pick us up."
"Gotcha." Tommy nodded, heading down the stairs…
To which Kimberly's parents silently stared at her.
"Did you use a condom?" Maddy asked after a long silence.
"What? No, Kimberly and I didn't have sex!" Tommy immediately turned around to hide the blush on her face.
"Good one, Maddy." Kimberly's stepfather let out a hearty guffaw.
Maddy was laughing as well. At least, until Tommy set her coin on the counter, and Maddy's eyes went dark with anger.
"Mom, cool it. She's good." Kim said as she came down the stairs. She poured herself a glass of milk as she leaned against the counter.
Maddy narrowed her eyes, but said nothing as Tommy slowly made her way to the fridge to grab a drink.
Tommy’s phone went off with a text from Trini. I’m parked outside.
“Love you mom. See you at six.” Kim said as she dragged Tommy outside and into Trini’s car- A yellow Mercedes.
“Where did you get this thing?” Tommy asked as she hopped into the front seat.
“Don’t tell my parents, but I pulled money out of my college fund.” Trini chuckled, pecking Tommy on the cheek as she pulled out of the driveway.
-
“Attention. Attention in detention.” The staff member spoke. “We have a few new students in detention. I’d like everyone to welcome Rocky DeSantos, Aisha Campbell, and Adam Park.”
Three students stepped forward, seemingly color-coded in red, yellow, and black respectively. They introduced themselves, before taking seats across the room as they shared a look.
Tommy glanced over at Trini as she looked down at the Better Choices workbook. "Is this really required?" She mumbled under her breath. She didn't know it yet, but she had said it in another language.
"Uh, hey, what language was that?" A student next to Tommy asked. "I don't recognize it."
"Oh, uh… I thought I was speaking English?" Tommy chuckled awkwardly. "Maybe I reverted back to my native language, but I heard myself in English."
The student didn't believe her, but didn't pester her any further.
Tommy let out a sigh as she looked back at her workbook. "Dear Grid, please help me…"
-
"First off, can you summon your dagger?" Zordon said as Tommy groaned.
"No! I can't morph, I can't summon my Zord, I can't tell Kimberly or Trini how I actually feel, and I can't…" She yelled at nothing. "I can't… do anything right." She said, her voice breaking as she looked away from the Eltarian. "The only thing I can do is speak in a language that my brain still reads as English!"
Zordon went silent, looking over at Alpha. "Alpha, can you scan her memories?"
"Yes, Master." Alpha spoke, walking over to grab Tommy's coin before looking it over. "Yup. Eltarian."
Tommy looked back and forth between Zordon and Alpha. "Wait wait wait, what's Eltarian?"
Zordon let out a sigh, changing the energy matrix in the middle of the room.
Tommy looked at the matrix, peering into the center. "Rita and Zedd… they destroyed your home planet… Eltar." Tommy sighed. "I'm such an idiot." She mumbled in Eltarian. "I'm so sorry."
"Rita was my friend. She and I were inseparable for years. I even asked her to marry me at one point. But then Zedd came. He was a horrifying force, completely overwhelming Eltar's armies in a matter of weeks. The only hope of protecting the Power Coins was to give them to six champions… Across the universe, Zedd and his forces chased us.
"We spent years in the vacuum of space, just trying to get to a planet where we would finally be safe. We chose Earth as our destination, but we couldn't get there without a distraction. Rita volunteered." The Keeper of the Power Coins continued. "She took her coin and boarded the only escape pod. Zedd's ship veered after her, and we all admired her sacrifice for months.
"Until she came back. She was bleeding, holding onto her coin like a lifeline. She spent hours in surgery with the Blue Ranger. When she awoke, she killed him with the Dragon Dagger."
Tommy gasped in horror, but Zordon continued.
"One by one, she picked us off. Until I managed to take the coins away from her and bury them. Not long after, the meteor that I had told Alpha Five to send to Earth hit, killing me and sending Rita into the ocean for 65 million years."
Tommy listened, looking down at the coin in her hands. "I promise I won't turn out like Rita."
"I pray that you don't. In the meantime, head home. Get some sleep." Zordon sighed, to which Tommy nodded.
"I'll be back tomorrow." Tommy smiled softly. "Thank you for trusting me."
Chapter Text
In the weeks after Zordon's story, Tommy was thinking over the fact that she could magically speak the language that Zordon and Rita had to have been the last speakers of. She went harder against her training with Trini, and she had finally managed to morph on her own.
When she went back to Zordon in her armor, he nodded approvingly. "Alpha, take her to the Dragonzord."
-
"The Dragonzord, a beast of power and majesty." Alpha said as Tommy looked out at the water.
A dagger formed in Tommy's hands as she looked at the creature with awe.
"It's been asleep for more than 65 million years. It's time to wake her." Alpha said.
Tommy looked at the dagger in her hand as she raised it to her mask, notes forming in her mind. She realized the notes were the same as a song that she had learned growing up- The Song of the Iron Dragon. As she held the dagger to her helmet, she began to play. And as she played, she heard the voice of her mother in her mind.
Deep in the water
Beneath the blue sea
A gift from the father
Of all humanity
A creature of power
Of grace and majesty
All evil will cower
We give our thanks to thee
Iron for skin
Fire for breath
Will lead our kin
On a noble quest
The Iron Dragon sleeps
And only one can wake
To make our harvest heap
And cause the earth to quake
The Iron Dragon will wake
And come bearing gifts
But be warned, if you shake
You will bear the pain of a thousand fists.
Tommy closed the song as she dematerialized her dagger.
"Wow… that was perfect! But how did you know that?" Alpha questioned.
"The Dragonzord spoke to me. The notes matched ones I learned as a kid." Tommy looked at the water as she demorphed.
"Why isn't the Dragonzord awake?" Alpha questioned.
Tommy remained silent as she stood. "Give me some room?" She requested.
Alpha stepped back.
Tommy took a deep breath, and when she released, she began to sing.
"Deep in the water
Beneath the blue sea
A gift from the father
Of all humanity
A creature of power
Of grace and majesty
All evil will cower
We give our thanks to thee
Iron for skin
Fire for breath
Will lead our kin
On a noble quest
The Iron Dragon sleeps
And only one can wake
To make our harvest heap
And cause the earth to quake
The Iron Dragon will wake
And come bearing gifts
But be warned, if you shake
You will bear the pain of a thousand fists."
By the second verse, a crowd had gathered to hear her voice.
The water of the bay began to bubble as a huge metal creature arose.
Tommy dropped to her knees, closing her eyes and raising her hands in thanks.
"The Iron Dragon sleeps, and only one can wake." She whispered to herself. She slowly rose, still keeping her head down. When she spoke again, it was with power and confidence. "Great Iron Dragon, I call upon thee. Please, bless our fields with harvest and our loved ones with more time with the great gift of life!"
The Dragonzord rumbled as a deep and ancient voice spoke in her mind.
Very well, Keeper of the Coin. You have proven your tribe and your ancestors proud.
Tommy bowed once more as she let out a breath. "Thank you, mighty Dragon."
The crowd stared up at the Zord as several people took pictures.
Alpha was completely out of sight as Tommy sang again, lulling the Dragonzord back into the water.
-
"Did you see that?"
"Hey, it's her!"
"Tommy!" Jason said, storming up to Tommy and whispering to her in a seething anger. "What were you thinking? You could've exposed us!"
"There are dozens of people from my tribe who know that song. I'm just the only one who happens to be able to communicate with the Iron Dragon." Tommy punched his shoulder.
"Still, you need to be more careful." Jason told her. "The others are less angry, but Zordon definitely won't be happy with you."
Tommy chuckled. "Sure, Jason. Whatever you say."
-
Throughout her first half of school, people were clamoring to try and talk to her. They wouldn't stop until the teachers had threatened to send them up to the principal's office, and even then, most of them were passing notes to her.
"This is a mess." Tommy groaned, rubbing her eyes. "I wish I could take it back."
"This year was horrible, Tommy. The fields had nothing, and the fishermen were coming up with empty nets more often than not, but you still managed to give us a great harvest." Kim rested a hand on Tommy's shoulder.
"My mom got better thanks to you." Zack smiled at her, bumping Tommy on the arm. "C'mon, the school's holding a party for you. That's gotta be awesome!"
Tommy sighed. "Yeah. But all this attention means that my foster parents are gonna come looking for me and I'm gonna have to go back."
Trini thought for a moment. "Come live with me. My mom won't like it, but fuck her."
"Are you sure? I don't wanna invade your privacy." Tommy looked at Trini.
"Yeah, I'm sure! The boys will be super excited, and I'll be happy to have someone my age to talk to. You can switch every week."
Kim nodded. "If you don't want to go back, you can stay with us."
Tommy wiped a few tears. "Thanks, guys."
“Any time.” Kim whispered, pressing a kiss to Tommy’s neck.
A blush creeped up Tommy’s neck and onto her face. “Let’s go do a girl’s night, just the three of us.”
“I’m down.” Trini nodded, nudging Kim’s shoulder.
“Yeah, totally.” Kim nodded, leading the two of them to her car.
-
“Alright, Tomasa, you can do this.” Tommy took a deep breath, walking into the room with Trini and Kim. “Hey, guys, can I talk to you for a sec?” She asked.
“Of course.” Kim said, turning to look at the taller woman.
“I… I’m in love with you guys. Both of you.” Tommy said, turning to leave.
“Why are you leaving? We love you, Tommy.” No matter what.” Trini rested a hand on Tommy’s shoulder, causing the other woman to stop.
Kim pulled Tommy into a deep and passionate kiss, her arms wrapping around the taller woman’s neck as she slowly pulled away. “Yeah. We’re with you, all the way.” Kim smiled at her. “Now, first thing’s first: we’re going to that party.”
Before Tommy could protest, she was in a deep green suit and a gold tie. “Inconspicuous, much?”
“Hey, the point is to celebrate! You know, have fun, get drunk, hook up with someone!” Kim laughed. She, herself, was in a pink dress and Trini in a yellow suit with a purple tie.
“You two look stunning! I look like a fucking mess.” Tommy sighed. “But whatever. Let’s go.” She smiled and shook her head, walking out and following the two to the car.
-
“This was a great idea, guys!” Tommy laughed as she held up her drink.
“Glad you think so!” Kim yelled over the party.
Tommy chuckled, walking over to Kim and pecking her on the cheek. "Personally, I'd love to stay, but I think we should… spice up the night, don't you think?"
"I think that's a great idea!" Trini intruded. "Let's head back to Kim's place, her parents aren't home!"
Tommy nodded, pulling them out of the party and back into Kim's car, where they drove back to the latter's car.
Notes:
10k words!!!!! This is SO exciting to me. Thank y'all for sticking with me!
Chapter 10: Confrontations
Chapter Text
Kim groaned and sat up, pulling the sheets over her chest. She didn't have a headache, meaning she didn't get drunk or high, and she felt like she had gotten a good night of sleep for the first time since Zedd had gotten hold of Tommy. She looked to each side, seeing Tommy and Trini cuddling on her left side.
Memories of the night before flooded her mind. The half-Indian woman pinched the bridge of her nose. "Oh, Grid." She mumbled.
She slowly got out of bed, getting dressed in clean clothes as she slowly made her way down the stairs. The house was still empty, meaning she could probably get away with making breakfast for herself and the two lovely women upstairs.
She got to work in preparation, putting a burner on high as she put bacon in a pan.
Within ten minutes, she had a whole breakfast buffet laid out in front of her- bacon, eggs, pancakes, waffles, hash browns, a few omelettes in case they wanted them, sausage, toast, french toast, skillets, and quiche, chorizo, crepes, German pancakes, pasties, and assorted fruit.
When Tommy and Trini came down, they were only wrapped up in sheets and gasped at the breakfast.
"We can't eat all this." Trini noted.
"I'm gonna go take a shower and get dressed. Maybe we can invite the guys over." Tommy offered as she went back up to Kim's room.
Trini yawned. "I'm gonna join her. Tommy takes cold showers. Wakes ya right up." The Latina followed Tommy upstairs.
Kim sighed, before pulling out her phone and calling Jason. "Hey Jase, you up for breakfast with the girls and I?"
"Yeah, totally! I'll swing by and grab Billy and Zack before I head over." Jason said from the other end.
"Yeah, I cooked for an army again." Kim chuckled. "Door's unlocked, of course."
"Will do." Jason confirmed. "See you in ten."
Kim hung up, running upstairs and joining Tommy and Trini in the shower before Jason and the guys arrived.
-
"Alright, dish yourselves up, I've got spices galore in the cupboard." Kim said as she took a seat.
At the mention of spices, everyone but Jason perked up, making their way to the cupboard to add their preferred amount to their breakfast.
"White people, am I right?" Kim chuckled. "No spice tolerance."
"Oh, absolutely." Jason agreed, trying his damndest not to laugh at the scene.
Trini sat down right next to Kim, her food mixed with a variety of spices. “Los blancos son raros.”
“You can say that again.” Tommy mumbled.
“You understand Spanish?” Trini raised an eyebrow.
“I know bits and pieces.” Tommy shrugged.
Trini's eyes lit up as she wrapped an arm around Tommy.
"My Grid, you've got them hooked." Jason chuckled.
"I noticed." Tommy nodded.
Kim wolfed down her breakfast as she heard a car pull in the driveway. “That’s either mom, Ted, or Tommy’s quote-unquote family.” Kim sighed.
Kim's parents opened the door. "Wow, Kim. I didn't realize you could cook this much." Her stepfather noted.
"Oh, ha ha, Ted." Kim rolled her eyes. "I'm gonna go get ready for work."
Maddy nodded. "Alright, darling.”
Tommy waved goodbye. “I’ve got a few things to do around town.”
“Be careful. Monster attacks can happen at any time.” Jason called.
Tommy chuckled, grabbing the keyring Kim had designated as hers. “I’ll be back at four.”
The others nodded, calling out their “see ya later!”s.
Tommy smiled, making her way to the garage, getting into the green Challenger. After she started up the car, she made her way downtown, pulling into the parking lot of the Angel Grove Youth Center. Making her way inside, she sat down at Ernie’s Juice Bar. “Banana Blast, large.” She said as she sat down.
“No problem.” Ernie nodded, moving to grab some fruit. “You doin’ okay, kid? You’ve been coming in almost every day for the last two weeks. You’re not even doin’ the martial arts classes that Jason’s been teachin’.”
Tommy sighed, looking out the window. “Well, I managed to confess that I was into Kim and Trini, so… that’s good, right?”
“Yeah, it is!” Ernie nodded, passing Tommy’s to her. “You hear that Bulk and Skull saw some alien ship crash into Mariner Bay?”
“Oh really? That’s interesting!” Tommy feigned ignorance about the ship.
Just then, a scream was heard from outside, causing Tommy to jump to her feet and palm her Power coin. When she got outside, she came face-to-face with a woman in gold armor.
Tommy smirked. “Someone lose their way from ComicCon? Convention is three blocks north.” She got into a fighting stance.
The woman cackled. “I don’t suppose Tommy Oliver is here, is she?”
“Can’t say she is. Maybe I can take a message.” Tommy took a deep breath, feeling a heat build up in her chest. After a moment, she exhaled, and when she did, it was pure fire.
Chapter 11: Fight Fire With Fire
Chapter Text
Zedd threw things across the bridge of the Astroship, letting out an angry bellow. He threw his staff into the wall, only for it to be caught by a gloved hand.
“Now, now. There’s no need for this.” A man in white and green stepped into view.
“Who are you?” Zedd snarled, pulling his staff out of the stranger's grip.
“I’m a friend. My name is Lord Drakkon.” His visor became visible- it was red, unlike most Power Rangers Zedd had seen over his life.
Zedd took a deep breath. “And why are you here, Drakkon?” He asked, lowering his staff.
“I want to help you destroy the Power Rangers.” Drakkon pulled off his helmet. “After all, we’re both Lords, are we not?” He offered his hand to shake.
Zedd chuckled darkly. “Indeed we are.” He took Drakkon’s hand and shook it.
-
Kat took a deep breath as the plane landed in Angel Grove airport, placing her phone into her pocket as she gripped the seat. “Alright, I’m fine.” She sighed in relief when the plane stopped at the gate.
When the plane was fully docked, Kat stood up and made her way to baggage claim to grab her purse and suitcase before making her way outside and into the crisp, cool air of the town. “Angel Grove… Kat Hillard is here.”
It was then that she stepped out and into a taxi. “Is there a youth center or anything nearby that I can go to?” She asked the driver.
“Ernie’s is open and cheap, 'specially for a new kid like you." The taxi driver spoke.
Kat passed up about $30. "I hope that's enough."
" 's no problem. I've gotten good fares today." The driver passed the money back. "To Ernie's?"
"Yes, please." Kat nodded, reluctantly taking the money back.
The driver nodded, taking the car to the juice bar.
Kat nodded, thanking the driver again as she got out. She took a deep breath, pushing through the doors, holding herself with confidence as she took a seat at the bar next to a native woman.
The young woman looked over at Kat. “You’re new around here, so I’ll be the first to welcome you. Welcome to Hell on Earth.” She chuckled. “Name’s Tommy.”
“Katherine, but most people call me Kat.” Kat chuckled.
“I give you a week, tops. Maybe two, but only ‘cause you’re cute.” Tommy chuckled as well, downing the last of her drink.
“You think she’s cute?” Kim walked up to the two, taking a look at Kat. “Actually, you’re right, she is cute.”
“I told you!” Tommy laughed, gently pushing Kim on the shoulder. “Trini with you?”
“Unfortunately not.” Kim sat on Tommy’s other side.
“Kat, this is my girlfriend, Kimberly. Kim, Kat.” Tommy introduced them.
"Nice to meet you." Kat smiled.
"Ooh, she's from straya." Kim chuckled.
“Yes, I am.” Kat chuckled as a familiar Christmas song came over the radio. “I don’t have a place to stay-”
Kim cut her off. “You can stay with my family. We have the room.” She shrugged, looking over at Tommy.
“Are we gonna induct her?” Tommy raised an eyebrow.
“If Trini’s up for it.” Kim smirked, leaning in to whisper. “I know you have the hots for her.”
“So do you.” Tommy whispered back.
“Fair point.” Kim chuckled, paying their tab and standing up. “Let’s go.”
-
Kat looked around the extremely large living room, which had been decorated for Christmas while Kim and Tommy were out and about.
“Woah, guys! This looks awesome!” Kim laughed, setting her coin on the table, next to where the others set theirs.
“Billy’s getting the tree from the farm.” Ted said from his place in the recliner. “The others have the ornaments ready.”
“I get to put up the star!” Kim called from the kitchen.
“As always!” Ted called back.
Tommy set her coin and dagger down as Kim dragged her, Trini and Kat upstairs into her room.
“Damn, princess. You weren’t lying when you said she was cute.” Trini nodded.
“Oh yeah. So, what are your thoughts?” Tommy asked.
“Wait, what’s going on?” Kat looked between the three women in front of her.
“They’re judging whether or not you’re fit to join the polycue.” Kim whispered.
“How do you know I even want to-” Kim cut her off. This was beginning to become a habit.
“Princess, I’ve seen the way you look at me. You’re not that straight.” Trini said to Kat, who immediately flushed red.
Tommy and Trini bantered back and forth for a bit, before they agreed.
“So, Kat. How’d you like to join our polycue?” Tommy smirked.
Before Kat could answer, a glowing pink arrow embedded itself into Tommy’s chest.

Chapter Text
Tommy groaned as she woke up, moving to rub her eyes. Her wrist abruptly stopped with the familiar clanking of a chain. "This better not be my fucking mother."
"No, no, Tommy. I'm someone who knows you far more… intimately." Drakkon stepped forward.
"Uh… who are you?" Tommy raised an eyebrow.
The man took off his helmet, revealing that he was identical to her, before her surgery.
"Jesus Christ, dude. You could've just told me that you were an evil copy of me." Tommy muttered, reaching into her pocket to grab her coin, but learning it wasn't there.
"Don't bother with your coin, I took it." He sighed. "My name is Lord Drakkon. I'm from another universe. And your girlfriends are currently fearing for your life."
Tommy rolled her eyes. "Might as well have told me that they're never gonna find me. You've never met my Trini, have you?"
"They've proven quite resilient, but you're-" Tommy cut him off.
"We're in space, I know. Astroship M1, right?" She rolled her eyes. "This isn't my first rodeo, bucko." She closed her hand, feeling the smooth handle of her dagger manifesting in her hand. She cut through the chains as if they were paper, standing opposite of Drakkon. "Let's try this again, shall we?"
He made a motion with his hand, and Zedd brought in Tommy's sister.
"Artemis!" Tommy yelled, noting that her eyes weren't white- not like they did when she had her powers. "You took her coin."
"Not just that, I also severed her connection to it." Drakkon held up the white and gold object, tossing it to her. "I don't need it. I just wanted to see the look on your face when I did this." He took out a dagger- almost identical to hers, but that's besides the point -and stabbed Artemis through the back.
Tommy reached out to her sister, feeling a heat build up in her chest. She exhaled, and sent Drakkon flying into Zedd with a blast of fire.
-
Tommy knelt over her sister, tears welling up in her eyes as the others surrounded her. She felt a comforting hand on her shoulder, and looked up to see Kimberly.
"Who did this?" She asked, her magenta eyes burning with rage.
"He called himself Lord Drakkon." Tommy's eyes held a burning rage as well as her hands sparked with green energy. "But soon enough, I'm gonna be sitting on his throne."
"Damn right." Trini nodded.
-
Two weeks later…
Tommy held her dagger towards the water, closing her eyes and feeling the notes in her mind.
She morphed, pressing the dagger to her helmet as she played.
On the end of what would've been the third verse, the Dragonzord awoke once again.
Speak, if you have aught worth the listening. It spoke in her mind.
"It's time to take the fight to Zedd." Tommy sheathed her dagger. "The battle has been entirely planned out."
Revenge isn't always the best path. But to avenge the death of someone who had their whole life ahead of them… how can that ever be wrong? The Dragonzord spoke. I will accompany you in the battle. If not physically, then I will infuse your spirit with my power.
Tommy nodded, and played the closing notes to the song as she made her way back to the ship.
-
"Alpha, are we ready for takeoff?" Tommy asked.
"All systems go. All we need is for the five of them to step onto the footprints and for you to take the wheel." Alpha said to her.
The five of the others- Zack, Kim, Billy, Trini, and Jason -stepped onto their footprints, white energy connecting them to each other and the matrix at the center of the ship.
"Alpha, set course for Earth's moon." Tommy looked dead set as the rock around the ship began to shake. "Can we get through the rock?"
"The ship has more than enough power, but in doing so, we'll bury the Zords in rubble." Zordon sighed.
Tommy powered down the ship. "Can we take them with us?"
"Yes, but we'll have to be careful. The path that we used to get them out is very delicate. If we disturb the rock anymore, it'll collapse." Alpha spoke up, the energy connecting the original five dissipating.
"Let's go." Jason looked between them. "Tommy, you stay here and when we're all on, you kick us off."
Tommy nodded. "You guys be safe."
"Since when are we not?" Trini smirked.
Tommy chuckled.
-
Trini slowly led her Zord through the large door, sighing in relief when she hopped out. "That's the last of em."
"Yeah, let's get going." Jason nodded, Billy and Kim heading back into the ship.
Zack cheered loudly, causing a few rocks to shake, in which he was quiet for the first time since becoming a Ranger. "Shit." He muttered.
The three of them didn't even have time to morph before the rocks collapsed on them.
-
Tommy and Kim pulled the rubble off of Trini, the young Latina coughing. "Well shit." She muttered. "Getting rocks dropped on you isn't fun."
Billy ran over to them, tears in his eyes. "Jason and Zack- they're- they're-"
Tommy sighed, pulling Billy into a hug. "I'm sorry, Billy." She whispered.
Billy held Tommy back as Kim helped get Trini out. "Ah shit, I'm not getting to the moon like this." She reached down to her leg.
Kim looked at Tommy. "We're gonna need to delay."
Tommy nodded solemnly. "We should tell their families."
Kim nodded. "I'll go to Zack's." She sniffled. "I don't know how to break it to her."
"Neither do I." Tommy sighed, looking over at Billy. "Let's get to Jason's."
-
Billy knocked on the door, looking up at Beverly with tears in his eyes. "I'm so sorry."
Beverly's breath hitched when he spoke, tears jumping to her eyes as she pulled Billy into a hug. "No, Billy. I'm sorry."
Billy held onto Beverly tightly. "I wasn't there for him-"
"Billy, you were there for him when we weren't. He loved you so much." Beverly whispered to him.
Billy nodded. "I couldn't- I couldn't save him."
"Billy, you already saved him." Beverly pressed a kiss to his cheek. "You know you're always welcome here."
Billy nodded, whispering to her a "thank you."
Sam walked out and saw the two of them. You could see his heart break as he knelt down to hug the two of them.
Tommy sighed, her mind going back to the day her mom had died.
-
"Heyyyyy, Aisha." Tommy sat down across from the other woman.
"What do you want?" Aisha grumbled, looking back at her food.
"If you had one shot… one opportunity to seize everything you've ever wanted in one moment, would you capture it o-" Tommy was cut off.
"You need me to become a Power Ranger because two of your friends died and one of them is out of commission." Aisha stared at her.
"Jesus, how'd you know?" Tommy sighed, pulling out the yellow coin.
"My mom's a detective." Aisha rolled her eyes, holding her hand out for the coin.
Tommy handed it to her, waiting for something to happen.
Aisha thought for a moment, standing up and walking over to Colt Wallace. “Hey dickhead!”
Colt stood up, walking up to her. “Hey! What the fuc-”
Aisha cut him off by slapping him, knocking him to the ground. “That’s what you get for trying to punch Rocky.”
Tommy nodded, silently cheering.
Aisha walked back over. “Is Trini okay?”
“Yeah, she’s just got a broken leg.” Tommy nodded. “She’s with her dad at the ER right now.”
“I suppose you have a plan to get Jason and Zack’s coins to new hosts?” Aisha asked.
“I’ve got a plan, yeah.” Tommy nodded. “A plan by the names of Rocky DeSantos and Adam Park.”
Aisha smirked. “I can help with that.”
“I was hoping you would.” Tommy smirked. “Careful with them, though. Not everyone takes to superpowers easily.”
“Don’t worry, I’ve got this. Where do we meet up afterwards?” Aisha raised an eyebrow.
“At the cliff near the old gold mine.” Tommy answered, passing Aisha the Black and Red coins. “I’ll tell you later why we’re meeting up there. Is your phone case waterproof?”
“Yeah, why?” Aisha looked concerned.
“Make sure Rocky and Adam have waterproof cases, too. No “water resistant” bullshit, this is important.” Tommy whispered.
“O-okay? What the heck?” Aisha shook her head, standing up and walking off to find Rocky and Adam.
-
“So why are we here?” Rocky asked, looking over the cliff as Tommy, Kimberly and Billy arrived.
“Good, you’re all here.” Tommy looked around at the group. “I bet you’re wondering why we’re meeting here, of all places?”
“Yeah, we are.” Adam nodded.
“What’s going on, Tommy?” Aisha raised an eyebrow.
“Watch and learn.” Kim chuckled, walking to the edge of the cliff, turning back to face the group, Tommy giving her a nod of approval.
Kim gave them a two fingered salute. “Adios, everybody.” She fell backwards.
Rocky, Aisha and Adam ran up to try and catch her. “Is- is she dead?”
“Nope!” Kim’s voice echoed from below, prompting Tommy and Billy to jump down as well.
The other three shared looks, before shrugging and jumping down to meet them.
“You guys have wa-” Tommy stopped herself. “Yeah, you do, otherwise you wouldn’t have jumped down here.” She took a deep breath, before diving into the water.
The other five followed quickly.
-
“Woah.” Aisha nodded. “Now this is cool.” She said upon entering the bridge.
“I must admit, you impress me more every day, Tommy. Good job.” Zordon chuckled. “Now, we must move quickly. Do you know how to morph?” He directed his question to the other three.
“Uhh…” Rocky blinked. “No.” He shook his head.
Kimberly and Billy stepped onto their footprints. “Step up to the footprints. They glow in your colors.”
After they had stepped up, the energy matrix in the center began to flare up, swirling around them.
“It’s Morphin’ Time!” Kim and Billy called, their armor forming on their bodies in pink and blue respectively.
Rocky shrugged, looking at the others. “It’s Morphin’ Time!” He called, the red armor covering his body.
Aisha was next, and Adam soon after, in yellow and black.
Zordon looked pleased. “They’ll need to train.”
“We have martial arts experience.” Adam spoke up. “We’ll be fine.”
“If you say so.” Tommy shrugged, running back up to the control panel. “Alpha, is that course still set?”
“Yes indeed!” Alpha nodded, stepping up beside her and messing with a few things, closing the exterior doors and activating the oxygen regeneration systems.
Tommy read through the labels, flipping a few switches as the rock around them shook again. “Jason, Zack, this one’s for you.” She muttered, pushing the engines to full power.
The five of them were fixated on Tommy, also holding onto the bars next to their pedestals.
After a couple minutes, the ship shot out of the rock and began flying towards the moon.
“Will we be able to breathe?” Adam asked, finally stepping off his pedestal.
Billy took out his coin. “I believe so. Zordon told me that the coins were made to model something called a Klyntar, which would allow their hosts to breathe in the vacuum of space.”
Adam nodded, accepting the information. “That’s cool.”
Kimberly and Tommy went and stared out the window, back at the Earth below them.
“I hate space.” Tommy mumbled, pressing a kiss to Kimberly’s cheek. “I love you.”
“Love you too, Tommy.” Kim smiled, resting her head on Tommy’s shoulder.
“Destination imminent.” The onboard computer said over the speakers.
Tommy shrugged, looking at Kim. “Looks like it’s time to go.” She stepped forward. “Let’s go.”
-
Zedd roared, throwing something at Drakkon. “Their ship still flies!?” He yelled, slamming his staff on the ground as thousands of Putties formed around the palace. “Let’s see them get through that!”
Drakkon sighed, pinching his nose as he cut the object in half. “You know, you need some anger management classes.”
Zedd turned his staff on Drakkon once more. “You dare?”
“I would destroy you in seconds.” Drakkon looked unimpressed, before looking out the window. “Well, shit.”
-
“Maybe you should’ve let Tommy drive!” Kimberly yelled to Adam.
“I’ve never driven a giant robot before, leave me alone!” Adam sighed, the words translating right before his eyes. “Oh, I was in the highest gear.” He turned it down, becoming much more in control.
Rocky and Aisha had much more luck with their Zords, and all five of them were making their way towards the palace.
-
Tommy took a deep breath, setting her dagger aside and taking the green coin out of her pocket. “I’ll come back for you, Tiatén.” She whispered, picking up the white coin and clicking it into her belt buckle, feeling a surge of energy. “It’s Morphin’ time.”
White energy surged from the matrix, as well as from Tommy as she morphed into the armor. “Woah, now this is awesome.” She whispered to herself.
A sword- a white sabre, by the looks of it -glowed into existence at her side. She unsheathed it, immediately noticing the galaxy on the handguard, and the tiger head on the pommel. “This is cool.”
Zordon looked at Tommy in approval. “It suits you.”
“Green’s always been more my style.” Tommy shrugged, sheathing her sword. “Is there a Zord for the White Ranger?”
“Yes indeed.” Alpha nodded, leading her to a previously locked section of the ship. “The Tigerzord.”
Tommy stepped through, smiling under her helmet. “Hello, beastie.”
