Just a short BTS oneshot with 7 boys in college, 1 sleepover, and a game of Seven Minutes in Heaven (aka Jimin's closet). What could possibly go wrong?

Just a little note: This is a fanfiction story and a fanfiction story only. This is simply the result of my love for OT7 and their lovable chaotic energy. Thanks! 💜

Work Text:

Yoongi was scrolling on his his phone doing who knows what, when it began to ring. The contact read 'Hoseok'. Yoongi pressed on the button and lifted the phone to his ears.

"Hello-"

"Hey, Yoongi!" Hoseok greeted before Yoongi could even finish greeting him. "Jimin and I are having a sleepover later."

"Oh, cool," Yoongi replied casually.

"..."

After a moment of silence, Yoongi spoke. "Are you trying to invite me?"

"Yeah, but you're giving me no reaction, so how am I supposed to? Anyway, you should come!"

"Something tells me that that's more of a order than a suggestion."

"Come on, think about it. All seven of us will have a blast! There will be movies, games, and your favorite: sleep! And think about the food! We'll be able to make delicious s'mores-"

"I thought s'mores were only for camping?" Yoongi inquired.

"You get my point."

"I guess I'll be there."

"Great! Go invite Seokjin, too."

"I don't know. I'm kind of busy at the moment..." But that was a lie. In fact, Yoongi was simply laying on the couch.

"Yoongi, I bet Seokjin is right next to you."

"How did you know?" Yoongi asked sarcastically.

But Hoseok didn't seem to notice his tone. "Really!? Jin-hyung is there?"

"No. He's actually in his room."

Yoongi could hear Hoseok sigh on the other side of the phone before saying, "Okay, fine. I'll invite him since you're "busy" at the moment. See you later! BYE!"

"Thanks," Yoongi voiced before hanging up. 'All that talk was tiring. I need a nap,' Yoongi thought to himself.

...

"Seokjin-hyung, Jimin and I are having a sleepover at our dorm tonight. Can you please come? I invited everyone~" Hoseok voiced.

Seokjin put Hoseok on the speaker and spoke. "Tonight? Um, Hoseok-"

"Okay. I know this is kind of short notice, but please come!"

"But we all have to study-" Seokjin began.

"What is there to study for?" Hoseok asked.

"Well, there's this one test coming up-"

"I really didn't expect you to be the hardest to convince," Hoseok then remarked.

"Stop interrupting me!"

"Come on, hyung. I got Yoongi to agree to come. You know what? If you don't come, I'll have him drag you here."

"Hoseok, we both know that Yoongi's always too tired to do that," Seokjin joked with a laugh. Still, he gave it one last thought before replying, "Okay, I'll be there."

After he gave his answer, he heard a deafening yell from Hoseok, causing him to flinch his head away from his phone.

"JIMIN, SEOKJIN'S COMING! WE GOT EVERYBODY!"

Hoseok's extremely loud outburst was followed by even louder cheering and whooping. So loud that Seokjin was able to hear Jimin's voice somewhere in the distance in his phone.

And it was on the speaker, too, so Yoongi could definitely hear the noise form where he was probably laying. He was probably cursing at them all for being crackheads right now, ready to kill them.

Hoseok suddenly stopped yelling. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Can you tell Yoongi to not bring anything. Except for clothes. Jimin and I got everything, all the food and blankets and pillows. Don't even bring your toothbrush!"

Before Seokjin could even reply, the yelling continued. "Okay, bye!" he quickly hung up before the two boys could break his phone's speaker.

He walked out of his room and found Yoongi on the couch browsing on his phone. When the pale boy finally noticed him, he raised his eyebrow. "What the heck was that noise?"

"Just Hoseok and Jimin being themselves," Seokjin replied. "Oh, Hoseok told me that he forgot to tell you something."

"What is it?"

...

"He said to not bring anything," Namjoon reminded the two boys who were running around their dorm, already packing.

When Hoseok had called, the three of them, Namjoon, Taehyung, and Jungkook, were at the dining table, so Namjoon put the older on the speaker for all of them to hear. Right after Namjoon ended the call, Taehyung and Jungkook immediately rushed to their rooms, completely ignoring what Hoseok had just told them.

"But how can you not bring anything to a sleepover?" Taehyung asked while holding a bag of crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate.

Namjoon and Jungkook looked at the items Taehyung was holding.

"Are you planning on making s'mores? We can't just start a fire in Hoseok and Jimin's dorm, you know," Jungkook pointed out.

"That's why we have microwaves," Taehyung replied.

Both Namjoon and Jungkook nodded thoughtfully. "Good point," Namjoon stated.

"Hopefully, Hoseok doesn't get upset," said Jungkook.

"No way. Everybody will be thanking us for bringing these." Taehyung patted the bags proudly. "And it's not like we're the only ones who are going to bring something. I bet Yoongi will show up with his neck pillow."

"In that case, I'm bringing a flashlight and some bobby pins," Jungkook said confidently.

"What's with the flashlight?" Taehyung asked.

"What's with the bobby pins?" Namjoon asked at the same time.

"The flashlight is to sneak around their dorm at night, and the bobby pins are to mess with any locks I find," Jungkook explained while rubbing his hands together mischievously, but also smiling a little too innocently.

"Ooohhh. Can I join?" Taehyung asked with a excited look.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I want to join too," Namjoon said, knowing that he would probably regret the choice later. Oh well.

Taehyung pointed at Namjoon. "Then you're holding the flashlight, so you don't bump into anything. Or worse, break something and wake up everybody."

"Or he could hold the bobby pins. It's hard to break one by simply holding it," Jungkook suggested.

"Guys, I'm right here..."

"We're just joking, hyung," Taehyung smiled and luaghed before being joined by Jungkook.

...

"Hoseok, where did you put the snacks?" Jimin asked.

"I put them on the table, so that's done."

"Okay."

Jimin looked away from the table and found Hoseok carrying in a bunch of blankets from his room.

"I hope I brought out enough blankets," the older said before dropping them on the couch.

Jimin looked around. There were piles of blankets littered everywhere form the couch to the floor. "Yeah, I think that's more then enough," he laughed.

"Okay!" Hoseok chirped.

"How did you even get this much blankets?" Jimin motioned to all of the sheets lying around.

"For some reason, the closet in my room has so many extras. It's so weird, but cool."

...

A few hours passed before Hoseok and Jimin heard knocks on the door. "They're finally here!"

Both of the boys literally jumped off the couch and sped toward the door. "Hey! You guys are here!!! Come in!"

Seokjin walked in carrying a small backpack with his and Yoongi's clothes while Yoongi walked in carrying his neck pillow around his neck.

After waiting a little longer, the last three arrived. When they all stepped into the dorm, Taehyung pulled his items out of the bag Namjoon was carrying.

"Look what we brought!" he exclaimed.

Hoseok face lit up as he saw the bags of crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate Taehyung held. He then looked at Yoongi and smugly voiced, "I told you we would be making s'mores." Yoongi just rolled his eyes, but smiled afterwards.

Taehyung spotted Yoongi and then looked at Namjoon and Jungkook. "I told you he would bring his neck pillow." The three of them laughed together.

Everyone settled down, talked, and ate snacks for a while until Yoongi got up and stretched his arms. "I'm going to sleep."

"Why, hyung? It's so early," Taehyung complained.

"Here's my logic.," Yoongi began. "The word 'sleepover' has 'sleep' in it. It's that simple."

"Let's play Seven Minutes in Heaven," Jimin quickly suggested, not wanting the night to end so quickly for all of them.

"Yes!" exclaimed Hoseok and Jungkook at the same time.

Namjoon agreed with a smile. "Sounds like a good idea."

"Come on, Yoongi. You can't miss out on this," Seokjin said. "You're not scared, are you?"

Yoongi suddenly felt awake. "Heck no. Let's do this."

Jimin then stood up. "Great! Let's play with a bottle."

They decided to play in Jimin's room since Hoseok's closet was filled with all the extra blankets. After sitting in a circle and setting the bottle in the middle, Jimin put his hand on it.

"So do you guys want to play it where the person who spins it has to go in the closet with whoever the bottles pointed to?"

"Sure."

"Okay. I'll go first." Jimin said before giving the bottle a spin.

Everybody watched the bottle as it spun around and around and around...

Until it landed on... Seokjin.

"Why do I have to be chosen first?" he complained.

"You're not scared are you?" Yoongi mocked. Seokjin opened his mouth to say something when he was interrupted.

"Come on, hyung!" Jimin said as he dragged Seokjin into the closet.

The first few minutes were quiet, when everybody suddenly heard laughter from the closet. To be more specific, a windshield-wiper-sounding laughter along with a certain mochi laugh.

When the boys released the two from the closet, they found both Jimin and Seokjin with tears in their eyes.

"What in the world happened to you two?" Namjoon asked.

"Hyung, kept making dad jokes," Jimin chuckled, clutching his stomach.

"And you laughed at them?" Yoongi asked flatly.

Seokjin narrowed his eyes at Yoongi. "What are you trying to say about my jokes, Yoongi?"

"There were funny," Jimin defended. "They really were."

Everyone sat back down and this time, Jungkook spun the bottle. After a few seconds of waiting, it landed on Namjoon.

...

Everybody outside heard Jungkook's somewhat muffled yell. "I CHOOSE YOU, PIKACHU!" When the two walked put of the closet, everyone waited for an explanation.

"I turned Namjoon into Pikachu," Jungkook said proudly, pointing to Namjoon beside him.

When they looked at him, they saw that Jungkook had even did Namjoon's hair making it look like he had two ears.

...

"OTSUKAREEEE! SAMA DASHITAAAAA!!!"

Yoongi and Hoseok were the next two, and this is what everyone heard for the next seven minutes.

Taehyung and Jungkook were next, followed by Seokjin and Hoseok, Namjoon and Jimin, Yoongi and Taehyung. Everybody had at least been paired with almost everyone, so they all decided to do three people at a time. And soon, they started putting four people in the closet at a time.

"We already got four people in the closet," Namjoon spoke. "We might as well all go in there together."

...

"Okay, who's idea was this?" Yoongi grunted as he tried to get more space.

The seven boys thought it was a good idea to all go in there, so they made it a challenge. They first tried to sit down, but there wasn't enough room. That should have been their cue to stop and just play another game, but no. They improvised and decided to stand, so here they are. All squished together in Jimin's closet.

"Wasn't my idea," Hoseok and Taehyung quickly said.

"Namjoon," Seokjin coughed in between.

"Um, totally wasn't my idea," Namjoon chuckled nervously as he rubbed his neck.

"Totally..." Yoongi said, stretching the word.

"Jungkook, can you scoot over?" Taehyung asked.

"Sorry. Can't because someone's shoulders are in the way," Jungkook said while eyeing Seokjin.

"Hey!"

"Maybe if you guys weren't so tall, we wouldn't have this problem," Jimin spoke.

"And what does being tall have to do with the situation we're in?"

"You guys are tall, so you guys take up more space."

"That makes no sense."

"You make no sense."

"Is it just me or is it getting a little hot in here?"

"It's because I'm here."

"No, it's because Hobi's in here. Remember, he's the sun after all."

"You guys have it all wrong. All of our breathing is causing the heat."

"Then I guess we should stop breathing."

"Guys, I have no room!"

"Well, I can't move!"

"STOP YELLING IN MY EAR!"

"YOU'RE STEPPING ON MY FEET!"

"WHERE'S THE CLOSET DOOR?"

"I gonna sleep..."

"YOONGI, DON'T LEAN ON ME-"

CRACK

"What was that?"

Before anyone could say anything, the closet door popped out and slowly fell to the ground.

For a few seconds, everybody froze and stayed silent, slowly processing the fact that they just broke the closet door. And then, they bursting with laughter, tumbling onto the floor on top of each other and out of the closet that had confined them. They wheezed for a good five minutes, occasionally slapping each other when another hard laugh escaped them, and by then, their stomachs pained them.

"I'm not paying for that though."
