“I think it’s healing rather nicely,” Dazai said unwrapping one of his many, many bandages.
There was a gash on his arm running from his wrist all the way up to his elbow. The skin was held together by a straight row of even stitches, courtesy of boss Mori.
It was still red in hue but Chuuya had to admit it looked better than the day before. Still, the wound had been deep and it would surely scar.
“Does it hurt?” Chuuya asked.
Dazai prodded it with his finger and flinched slightly.
“A little,” he admitted.
A small hum left Chuuya’s mouth as he leaned closer to his partner. Gently grabbing the other boy’s wrist, Chuuya lowered his head and placed a small kiss right next to the wound on another similar scar. After all, Dazai had so many to chose from.
“Chuuya...” Dazai started but the shorter boy interrupted him.
“I will kiss the new one better when it doesn’t hurt anymore,” he promised. “For now, try not to get hurt again, you idiot!”
His words were accompanied by a not-so-gentle smack at the back of his partner’s head.
“Ouch! So cruel, Chuuya,” Dazai whined. “If it bruises, you’ll have to kiss this one better, too!”
