Work Text:
Cold hands were deep in jacket pockets, while earphones were blasting indie music in ears covered by a hood.
Chishiya was walking through the city, thinking about everything he had to do. He had to go out and find supplies to bring back to the base they were currently using.
He must have pushed down on his pocket too hard because the old music player became independent from the earphones. Silence was quickly followed by a loud thud on the concrete below.
"Shit." Chishiya whispered, then crouched down to sort out the problem. That's when he heard another noise - a small meow.
It sounded like the calls were coming from close by, but Chishiya looked up and around and didn't see anything. The meows weren't stopping and they sounded weak but persistent, like a call for help.
Earphones were wrapped around the device, then placed into a pocket and he went to investigate.
Following the sound, Chishiya came to a sewage drain and thought he noticed something small moving in it. He crouched down once more and saw that it was coming from down there. A small black and white dirty paw was reaching through the gaps of the drain.
"How the hell did you get in there?" He was curious, but more so concerned. Which was interesting, as he hadn't felt that emotion in a while.
The cat meowed back as if to reply.
"Hmm.. I see." Deduction had just taken place and Chishiya thought of multiple ways that could have happened. Although, it sounded like they were having a conversation.
He looked down and noticed that the sewage drain was blocked. Not completely though, of course. There was enough space for a kitten to be at the top of it, however it was going to be very wet and dirty.
Now the thought on Chishiya's mind was how to get the little creature out of there. He couldn't leave it there. The man wasn't completely heartless. He used to love cats in the previous world, even had one some time ago, and they loved him as well. Stray cats used to follow him around sometimes, which is how the admiration began. None had been seen yet in this new one, though. Strange.
A screwdriver. That would do it. Chishiya saw that the drain had little screws at the top and bottom of it and that tool would be perfect. Clogs were turning in that immense brain of his as he tried to remember which type based on what it looked like. A flat head. If that doesn't work, then a crowbar as backup definitely would.
"Don't worry, I'll get you out of there. You hang in there till then." Chishiya reassured the meowing animal below him. The cat then became silent. Huh. It was almost like they could understand each other.
He let out a breath. "Time to visit a hardware store."
…
35 minutes later, Chishiya returned with all the tools he thought he needed, which was a couple of screwdrivers he put in his pockets and a crowbar. He knelt back down and put all the equipment onto the ground around the drain.
"Sorry I took so long."
Chishiya paused for a second and wondered why he was apologising to a cat and talking to it so much. The intrusive thought was pushed aside. He could do whatever the hell he wanted.
Using a flat head screwdriver, he attempted to unscrew both of the screws to the best of his ability. They were almost there but he couldn't quite complete the task. "Come on, you bastards." Chishiya wasn't the strongest person in the world but he wasn't weak either, so surely he could do this. He tried with the other screwdriver and it only helped slightly. The drain was very old and rusty, and the screws were stuck. "Forget this." He chucked the screwdriver he was holding away and got the crowbar.
"This is probably gonna look scary, little cat. But it's gonna get you out, okay? Move your little paw away for a sec." Chishiya tapped what fur he could, telling the kitten to move away and surprisingly, it listened.
Using all his strength, Chishiya stuck the crowbar in the gap around the edge and levered it up. That helped with the screws as well, and he pulled them both out with one hand, pulling the tool with all his strength and grunting. "Fuck… Just come off already." He cursed, and he never used that curse word. Chishiya was growing angry now. Getting this cat out and to safety was too important to him.
Eventually, the entire cover came off and Chishiya placed it to one side next to him as he fell fully onto the ground, while breathing heavily in and out.
"Thank God."
After he got his breath back, he quickly went over to look into the drain, hands on either side of it inside as he looked down.
"Hey, you're free." Chishiya reached down and gently picked up the dirty kitten who was meowing and grabbing at him.
He got up off the ground by pushing a hand up off the concrete. After he stood up, Chishiya looked into the brown eyes of the small cat and his own brown eyes almost started to cry. Intense euphoric feelings overflowed his emotions and his cold, diamond heart grew warm. This was completely foreign to Chishiya, or at least forgotten. All he knew was that he wasn't letting this cat out of his sight.
"Well, you are indeed wet and dirty."
Was all he could say after feeling something for once. The walls he put up all came crumbling down thanks to this tiny creature.
The cat in Chishiya's right hand meowed and reached forwards to try to knead at the sleeve of his hoodie.
"Oh, no, little guy. You're cute but you're not getting my hoodie dirty." He placed him on the ground for a second to pull up his sleeves to reveal bare skin and the cat meowed like crazy.
"Relax, I'm not gonna leave you."
Chishiya picked the kitten up once again and placed him in both hands this time. "Are you a little guy?" He lifted it up to check. "Yup. You're a guy."
After examining the cat, Chishiya could tell it was around 3 months old but was very small due to lack of food. He wondered how long he was in there for. No time for that now though, he had to go wash, feed and hydrate him. On the way back, he quickly got some canned cat food for him, which he let him eat in the store, as they last a while.
…
Chishiya arrived back to base with a dirty, damp white and black kitten and immediately went to a bathroom. He placed him in the sink and then took off his jacket full of stuff to make it easier. A bucket of rainwater was on the floor already and Chishiya picked it up and brought it much closer. It was heavy but it was nothing compared to what he just had to do with the crowbar.
He realised that before washing him, he probably should give him something to drink first. He placed his hands in the bucket so water filled them and he held them out in front of the kitten's mouth. "Go on, drink." And drink he did. The small cat licked the rain water up with a rapid speed. "Good boy. Drink up."
The kitten stopped drinking and meowed, trying to get out of the sink and onto Chishiya's hands. "No, little kitten, not yet." The remaining water on his hands was stroked onto the wailing kitten's head. He then picked him up as he needed to put him down for a moment while he put the plug in and poured a small amount of rain water in the sink.
Chishiya picked up the meowing kitty again and held him above the water to get him used to it. After a few moments the kitten seemed to know what was happening so he was gently and slowly placed into the water, paws now soaked. Chishiya dipped a hand into the water from the sink and gently stroked the kitten. He meowed in protest, but only for a short moment.
Bopping his hand in and out of the bucket a couple of times, Chishiya stroked the small cat with wet hands. He remembered this was a good technique to get kittens used to bath time, as it doesn't overwhelm them.
With a few damp fingers, Chishiya cleaned the kitten's nose and the area around it. He noticed that his nose was heart shaped, a tiny bit of black fur surrounded by white. "God, that's cute."
After washing the rest of the front, the kitten was then gently turned around so Chishiya could wash the back more. The meowing had stopped now and the cat seemed fine with what was going on. Cupping his hands into the water, Chishiya poured it out onto the kitten's back, rubbing and cleaning out all the dirt he could with just water.
Above the tail, Chishiya thought he saw that the tiny bit of black fur there looked like a diamond. Surely not. A heart and a diamond? That's too… on the nose, he thought.
He looked again and it really did look like a diamond.
That was when Chishiya became aware of the fact that he hadn't given him a name. Of course he was keeping him, he couldn't let him go off by himself out in the wild. He would die eventually. A bond between the two of them was also strongly felt. The tiny animal had turned around to face Chishiya and was meowing at him and trying to get out of the sink to reach him.
He looked at the loveable small, wet, meowing cat, petted the top of his head and a name entered his mind.
"Diamond."
A long meow came from the kitten in response.
"Do you like that? You wanna be called Diamond?"
A short meow and one paw in the air was enough for Chishiya to feel like the kitten liked that, as he felt like the cat was happy.
"Diamond it is then."
He stroked the little kitten and it purred loudly for the first time and then continued to wash it, this time holding it so he could get the belly.
"Chishiya?" He heard someone call his name.
"What?" Chishiya yelled out in a similar volume. That shocked him, almost as if he had forgotten that other people were there, or even existed.
Arisu came through the door. "Oh, you're in here. Hey."
"Hi." He just went back to washing the cat. That time, he grabbed the dish soap and started using that bit by bit on Diamond.
"Woah, is that a cat?!" Arisu was so surprised to see that creature there as he'd never seen one before in the new world.
The kitten noticed a new person's presence and felt threatened and scared so he cried out in a long yowl.
"How did you possibly manage to figure it out? Also, lower your voice you idiot."
"No need to be so testy…"
"You scared him." Chishiya calmed the kitten down by putting a finger near his face, which he then leaned against. "It's okay, it's only Arisu. He's not scary at all."
"Jeez, thanks. Usagi said she saw you come in with something but couldn't see what it was."
"It was a cat."
Arisu looked at the kitten and then at Chishiya. "Well, I can see that."
"Did you want anything else?"
"You want me to leave?"
He was taken aback and something in him despised the thought of that. "No, I didn't say that. I'm just asking."
"We did send you out to get supplies."
"Oh. I completely forgot about that. I rescued a cat instead. He was stuck somewhere and I saved it."
"Well, that was… nice of you. But why did you do that?"
"What? You think I was just gonna let him die?"
"Honestly, I didn't think you would care. I mean, it's more resources that are being used up. Thought you wouldn't like that."
"God, Arisu. Is that really how you think of me? I'm not heartless, you know. He's a helpless little kitten. He doesn't need much, and it's not like we have the same diet. And honestly I just love cats. Especially this one. Diamond is amazing."
"Diamond?"
"Yeah, he's got a little bit of black fur that looks like a diamond." He grabbed the kitten and turned him around to show it, and then turned Diamond back to face Arisu. "He's also got a heart shaped nose if you hadn't noticed. Which is an interesting coincidence if nothing else."
"Cute... That's pretty awesome, actually. What are the chances of that?" Arisu rhetorically asked and then looked over into the bucket of water. "Did you use our supply of rain water on a cat?"
"Yes. You got a problem with that?" Arisu felt like Chishiya's eyes were piercing through him as he sternly asked that.
"No, of course not. Go ahead."
"Good." All the soap was now evenly distributed throughout the fur so Chishiya started to wash it all out. "It wasn't even a lot."
Arisu didn't say anything else, he just stood there watching Chishiya rinse the soap out of the kitten.
"Are you just going to stand there and watch in silence?"
"Sorry it's just… This is weird. I've never seen you like this before. I'm also wondering where the hell that cat came from." He couldn't stop looking at the scene with awe, curiosity and confusion.
Chishiya stopped what he was doing so he could stare at Arisu, wondering what the hell he was talking about. "He came from a sewer."
"Right." A dumbfounded expression appeared on his face.
Diamond was now almost fully washed and Chishiya saw there was a towel hung up behind Arisu.
"Could you pass me that towel, please?"
"Wow, you actually used your manners." He grabbed it and passed it to the other.
Chishiya wrapped Diamond up in the gray towel, small head peeking out at the top and held him in his arms. Arisu blinked almost in slow motion, and wondered why this was the cutest thing he'd ever seen.
"What?"
"Nothing." Arisu swallowed. He was only looking at Chishiya now and his previous wonder was still in his mind. His heart skipped a beat and he mentally cursed.
"I'm going to dry Di off in my room. Are you going to follow me?"
"Yeah. I still have questions."
"Then you may as well bring my jacket and stuff in for me."
Arisu brought his stuff in for him on the side desk and Chishiya placed the wrapped up kitten on the bed, sitting next to him. The towel was then taken off Diamond so Chishiya could lay it out onto the bed. The cat was then placed in the middle of the towel and wrapped fully around it, tucked in a little bit in the middle.
Arisu laughed, still standing up next to the bed. "It's like a kitty burrito. You can't even see it."
"Him." He corrected. "And, well that is how you properly dry a cat." Chishiya got Diamond's head out so he could see again. "Hello there." The kitten meowed back.
"How do you know so much about cats? Who were you before?"
Chishiya paused before replying. "Maybe I just liked cats." He then cleaned Diamond's eyes, ears and face with an extra bit of the towel that was free.
"How mysterious… I was thinking… Why do you think there's a cat here? Do you think there's a reason for that? I mean, the only animals I've seen are the wild ones in the games and then wild ones in the woods that we can use to hunt and eat. I wonder why that kitten is here an-."
"I think it's just a cat." Chishiya interrupted, rubbing the kitten with a towel a few times and then letting it free. "I wouldn't worry about it."
"Oh."
Diamond was now mostly dry, and his fur was much more fluffy than before. He was walking around and trying to get onto Chishiya's lap. "Oh my God… look at him."
"Yeah, he sure is cute."
Chishiya looked at Arisu, like he said the most horrible thing in the world and had offended him. "He's not just cute. He's… magnificent. Doesn't he make your heart burst and grow 3 times bigger just looking at him?" He looked at the kitten who was now sitting on his crossed legs, trying to climb up his body.
Arisu went to sit next to them on the bed and looked at Diamond, then stroked his slightly fluffy head. "He's pretty cool, but no."
"That's weird." Chishiya looked at him, not comprehending that concept at all. He wanted Arisu to experience the euphoria that is this kitten as well. "Too bad. I suppose that's your loss." He then picked up the kitten and placed him so they were both looking straight at Arisu. "Di is the best thing I've seen in my entire life."
The heart bursting? Yeah, Arisu was definitely feeling it now.
He quickly got up off Chishiya's bed, patting his own legs and exclaimed. "Well, you sure love that cat you just met."
"More than my own life." He sounded so serious.
That was a bold statement coming from Chishiya and Arisu was indeed shocked. This was a weird change, but it seemed positive, so Arisu shouldn't be concerned. He just wasn't acting himself.
"Well, there's a group meeting in 10 minutes. Are you coming?"
"I know there is. I planned it. Of course I'm coming, don't be stupid."
Ah. That sounded more like him.
"It's just that, you were supposed to get supplies for us but you never did. Didn't even let us know without asking you. You actually just..." Arisu stopped himself from saying Chishiya made things worse for them. "Brought a cat home." Saved it.
"It was more important than what I was supposed to do."
Arisu just stared at him for a second, frozen in place. "See you there, then." At this point Chishiya was acting too out of character and freaked Arisu out so he just left him to be with his new best friend.
…
It was 15 minutes later and Chishiya had just walked into the group meeting, jacket now on, with a now fully dry, less fluffy kitten in his hands. Diamond was carefully held, one hand on his little chest and one underneath him, against Chishiya's chest. Diamond cried out again after seeing all the people, but his new owner calmly shushed him and kissed his head. He took his seat, not before turning it around and sitting on it the wrong way, next to Kuina.
"You're late." Usagi scolded, annoyed, arms folded, standing at the front of the three that were seated.
"At least I'm here."
"Oh my God, Chishiya. You actually do have a cat." Kuina, who was also sat on her chair backwards, voiced ecstatically, taking the stick out of her mouth. "I didn't believe 'em. Let me hold it."
Chishiya held the kitten closer to his body in retaliation, not wanting to let go. It was Kuina asking though, so he didn't know why he was initially so resistant. "You can pet him." He held Diamond out in front of his friend, who then cried out in fear of another human going to touch him. "Hold on a second." Chishiya warned.
"It's fine. Kuina's good." He petted his head in comfort. The kitten then stopped crying and reached out to her. "Okay, you can touch him now."
"He's so cute." She stroked his little head, then under his chin. "Aw, look at his little heart nose." Kuina booped the nose in question, which made him meow. "I love him so much"
"I knew you would understand, Kuina."
Usagi looked over at Arisu. "Why does he have a cat?" Arisu just shrugged in response.
She then turned to look at the cat obsessed man to address him. "Why have you brought a cat to a meeting? Why did you think bringing a cat into this situation was a good idea anyway?"
"I think that's my business." Chishiya firmly told. "Di is the greatest creation ever and I think he deserves more respect. He's my responsibility, I'll look after him and keep him safe."
"Die?" Usagi questioned. "You seriously called your cat that?"
Kuina loved that idea. "Awesome."
Chishiya chuckled to himself. "What about it?"
This was when Arisu finally spoke up, to clear up the confusion that Chishiya didn't seem to care about. "He's called Diamond."
"Diamond? Really?" Usagi began, now staring at Chishiya. "You like the games that much?"
"No comment." Chishiya stopped speaking to kiss the top of Diamond's head. "However, it's irrelevant. I got the idea because of this." He turned the kitten around to show the small, black diamond above the cat's white tail. It was much clearer and obvious now it was washed and dry.
Kuina looked as well. "Wait, that's so cool. A heart and a diamond? Perfect for you."
"I never thought of it like that but I suppose you're right."
"Fine, I admit it. He is pretty adorable." Usagi gave up. "Can I continue on with the meeting now?"
"Please do." Arisu begged.
"Right, first of all. Chishiya, you didn't do what you promised. You were supposed to get…" She stopped as she noticed the one she was addressing was currently rubbing his nose against the little Diamond's, and definitely not listening. Usagi just tapped her foot impatiently.
Arisu was the one to speak up next. "I don't think he's listening."
Kuina moved over to tap her friend on the shoulder. "Chishiya."
He looked up at her. "What?" And she nodded forward, which made him look at Usagi.
"This is insane. You're not acting yourself. This meeting was your idea. Why on earth are you being like this?"
"What? I'm just looking after Diamond."
Usagi just looked at him in bewilderment. "I need to know why you didn't do what you said you would."
"This again. I'm sorry, but can't someone else do that? I'm busy."
"Did you just apologise?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Nothing…" Usagi turned to look at Kuina to see if she had answers. "Kuina. You know Chishiya better than us. Do you know what's happening with him?"
Kuina turned to look at her friend, feebly holding the stick in her mouth. "I've no idea." She then took it out, pointing it at the cat. "That cute little kitty's making him act weird as fuck." Chishiya was back to rubbing noses with Diamond, with no interest in the conversation. "I kinda like it though." Kuina smiled, finishing off her thoughts.
Diamond meowed loudly and bit Chishiya's nose. "Ow! What the hell, Di? You've never bitten me before."
"He's telling you off." Arisu joked.
Kuina joined in with the teasing too. "Yeah, pay attention you idiot."
"All right." Chishiya carefully placed the kitten on the floor, who then immediately looked up at him and meowed like crazy, wanting to be held by him again. "I'll pay attention but that cute little bastard won't stop meowing for me."
"I'll hold him." Kuina got up and picked up the meowing kitten, who was resistant at first with wails but then let it happen. "There." She sat back down.
"Good. Now we can actually begin."
…
After the meeting was finished Chishiya immediately went back to his room with his new kitten and the other three stayed behind for a few minutes to chat.
When they were finished Arisu knocked on Chishiya's bedroom door. "Hey. It's Arisu. Can I come in?"
Chishiya was laying on his bed face up with a little kitten on his chest licking his face when he heard the knock. "Sure. It's open."
Arisu came through the door, closing it behind him. "Hey." He then laid next to Chishiya on the bed. "He's licking you now, is that new?"
"Yeah, it's amazing progress. I'm really happy about it."
"Diamond seems pretty different from a regular stray cat. Or is the word feral?"
"I can't tell if Di's stray or feral. It's more likely he's feral, considering the lack of people. But he's got all the signs of a stray kitten. I'm astounded he's never hissed. It would be more plausible if he was younger, but he's at least 2 or 3 months. He's a mystery."
Arisu pulled his legs up towards his chest and wrapped his arms around them as he intensely listened while watching. He was impressed at the amount he knew about cats. "Just like you then." Chishiya looked at him with a peaceful expression and Arisu just smiled. The atmosphere was calm and nice. The cat wasn't making any noise.
"I guess."
"Maybe that's just his personality." Arisu proposed.
"Maybe… Why are you here, Arisu?"
"Sorry, I can leave." He began to get up off the bed.
"Wait." Chishiya stopped him. "I didn't mean to be rude. I actually like your company. I was just wondering if there was a reason." He really did love being around Arisu. For as long as he could remember knowing him. Chishiya was obsessed with the way his brain worked. He grew completely in love with his mind, maybe with other things as well, he couldn't tell and didn't want to think about it. All he knew is that made being near him so much better.
"Honestly… Usagi told me to keep an eye on you because you were acting unusual and she didn't like it. I don't know what she's worried about, I think I get why now. And I like it. Also, I did want to come here anyway because…" Arisu's heart thumped. He just noticed they were so close to each other. And lying on a bed together… That was all way too much. He couldn't tell him he wanted to see him.
"Because…?" Chishiya was now rolled over onto his side, elbow propped up on the bed, head in hand, staring at Arisu in the eyes. The only thing in-between them being the small Diamond, who took up all that space.
"Because I think Diamond's awesome." Was the excuse he came up with. Which wasn't a lie out of context.
"Diamond is awesome, you got that right." He looked down to stroke the resting cat in the middle of them. He began purring at the sensation. Every time Chishiya touched Diamond he felt relaxed and his mind was completely cleared. He forgot about the messed up situation they were all in and all he could think of was how soft he felt, how much he loved him, or nothing at all. Genuine happiness was actually felt for once. It was why he was so obsessed with the tiny creature. Chishiya had always craved that feeling without even realising, he needed it badly.
"Arisu, try it." He directed, stopping the soft strokes along the white fur.
"Huh? Try what, Chishiya?"
"Stroke him. It's the best feeling in the world. You should feel it too. It makes me calm and relaxed."
"Okay." Arisu stretched his legs out and moved to be fully laid down as Chishiya was. Now completely facing each other, he stroked the kitten slowly with the back of his hand. It was enjoyable and soft, he liked it a lot but he hadn't felt that feeling yet. He stroked his little body and then his head, then did everything once more without feeling anything else and halted his actions. "Hmm…" Arisu hummed. "It's nice, but it doesn't feel that way for me."
"Oh." Chishiya frowned, he really wanted Arisu to feel that sensation.
Albeit confused as to why he looked so sad now, being distressed by this, Arisu wanted to end that feeling. "Maybe he's just made for you."
Chishiya's facial expression stopped being so depressing and he looked up at the other. "Like what Kuina said."
Arisu smiled softly. "Yeah. There could be a reason he's here after all."
They hadn't broken eye contact in a while and now it was Chishiya's turn for his heart to miss a beat.
The purring of the kitten had stopped, it was now falling asleep and the two were inches apart, lying on the bed looking right at each other.
Chishiya was looking at Arisu's stupid gorgeous face he was so infatuated with and all he could think about was all the shit he put him through. It made him feel low, shallow and unworthy of anything. Why didn't Arisu hate him? He felt so many new feelings since he met that kitten it was driving him insane.
All the thoughts in his mind were removed when Chishiya saw a strand of Arisu's hair fall into his face. He just left it there, staring at him with his head on two hands on the pillow, so Chishiya gradually reached up and moved it out of the way. A finger slowly dragged across some skin at the top of Arisu's head. For whatever reason Arisu didn't even question that in the moment.
"Sorry." Now Chishiya was tenderly stroking the piece of hair he previously moved.
"Sorry for what?" A small blush appeared on his face and it was useless trying to hide it at this point.
"Everything. Just...sorry." The stroking moved to Arisu's cheek, as Chishiya used two fingers to trace his cheekbones.
Oh. He understood now. "It's okay." They were interrupted when a freshly woken up kitten started meowing, standing up so he was face-to-face with Chishiya and ass-to-face with Arisu.
This caused them both to sit up slightly so they were further apart and not so close to Diamond. "Someone's up." Arisu laughed.
"Hey, Di." After looking below at his pet, he layed back down again when the animal tried to jump up on him. The kitten never succeeded in doing so and Chishiya tickled Diamond's heart shaped nose which got him a few licks in return. "Come on up." He patted his own chest so Diamond could understand him and the kitten eventually made his way on his shoulder. A smile never left Chishiya's face as he played with his new kitten and Arisu couldn't keep his eyes off him. It was way too cute.
Diamond jumped off and onto a pillow so Chishiya rested his head on it right next to the kitten. He stroked under his chin as the cat licked his face. "I think this cat is my soul mate." He spoke, never looking away from Diamond.
For whatever reason that offended the other, like he was jealous of a kitten. "You can't have a cat as a soul mate." Arisu told him, like it was a matter of fact.
"What do you know of soul mates?"
"Probably just as much as you. Nothing."
Chishiya looked up at Arisu for a second and rolled his eyes. "Please."
"You know what?" He retorted as if he was going to say something negative against him.
Now he was looking straight at Arisu for the entirety of this. "What?" Chishiya spat back in the same tone.
"You look really cute right now."
Well, he was not expecting that. Chishiya thought they were starting an argument, a pointless argument but still. He liked this much better, although he was not prepared for this outcome. All he could do at this point was blush, not used to affection. He sat up, so they were now almost at the same level despite the height difference, and placed the kitten onto the floor below, who only meowed once. Diamond was tired from a long day and too small to do anything else, so he just went to sleep on the carpeted floor.
After a moment, Chishiya composed himself and glared at Arisu, in an almost scarily enticing way. "Oh, is that so?"
Arisu didn't know what he thought was going to happen, but it definitely wasn't that. Despite being the one to start this, he blushed and became shy suddenly. He gulped. "Yeah."
Chishiya placed an arm around Arisu, keeping the same stare. "And what are you going to do about it?"
Becoming bratty, or just anxious, a red faced Arisu folded his arms and turned his head away from Chishiya. "Nothing."
"Aw, that's too bad. I could do with a kiss right about now."
That got Arisu's attention and he turned back around, unfolding his arms, but waited a second before saying anything. "Kiss me yourself then, coward."
Taken aback, Chishiya raised his chin up, then looked at Arisu curiously and smirked. "You'd love that, wouldn't you?" He teased, making this last as long as he could.
"Don't make me admit it, you already know I would! Oh, you're such a tease."
"Hey, you came onto me first. You're the tease."
"Oh, please. You started it when you touched my hair!"
"Lower your volume, Di is sleeping. You are so loud when you're mad."
"Don't change the subject."
"Are we arguing or flirting?"
"Both? Either way, just kiss me alread-!"
Chishiya cut him off by dragging Arisu down by his shirt and placing their lips together, finally having the kiss they both wanted so badly. It only lasted for around 3 seconds before Chishiya pulled away so neither of them had a chance to move.
"I thought I told you to be quiet."
