it had just hit 10pm, and ningguang was sat on her bed half dressed. she could only sigh as she glanced at the clock..
beidou was late
beidou was always late- but today in particular, the captain needed to be here, for ninguangs sake. the blonde wasn't in too good of a mood today, for whatever reason, and it only progressively seemed to get worse.
ningguang got up slowly after a couple of minutes of endless pacing, tightening the robe around her tall and yet voluptuous figure. she headed to her bedside cabinet to take out a box of chocolates and sat down at the edge of her bed.
another sigh elicited her lips as she watched the clock tick.. as the seconds passed it were as if the weight on her shoulders felt heavier. at this point she was convinced beidou had just head back to her ship for the night.
though when her hopes were all lost, there was a subtle bang at the window beside her desk, and ningguang sauntered over fairly quick to slide it open. after a couple of seconds, a figure leapt over, and raised her head to meet the blondes gaze.
ningguang replied by moving in and joining their lips for a heated kiss. her hands roamed beidou's body before finally settling at either side of her shoulders. beidou took hold of ningguangs thighs and hoisted her up, a grin at her lips before whispering in her ear "someone missed me, huh."
the blonde could only fail to suppress the shiver that shot up her spine, causing all hairs to stand on end. she looped her arms around beidou's neck and pulled back ever so slightly "i missed you with all my heart."
beidou smiled. then, sensing her partners distress, she carried her over to the king sized bed resting in the centre back of the room. the captain laid on her back and let ningguang rest ontop of her, comfortably within her arms whilst rubbing delicate circles into her lower back "i have you, dont stress anymore.”
the words had comforted ningguang more than she’d care to admit.. her high status becoming nothing but a mere thought lost in the back of her mind once she was enveloped in the embrace she adored so deeply. her eyelids grew heavy as she focused on the gentle pace of beidous palm stroking her back, and the way her heart was beating so calmly.
she tried to fight the tiredness though finally succumbed to her body as it screamed for her to rest up. beidou pressed her lips to the crown of ningguangs head “we can talk tomorrow.. rest as much as you need.”
the captain smiled when met with calmed snoring in response.
