Chapter Text
Klee stared at the little ball of whisps flying around in the glass bottle. "Jean! Jean!" She called after the acting grandmaster, who was talking with a young man who was knee-deep in the fountain.
"Yes, Klee?" She turned around and looked down at her. Klee was pulling her best puppy-eyed gaze. "May I have one?" She pointed towards the whisps that were in the little bottles.
Jean sighed and looked at the Seelie. Klee was a young child, and there was no doubt that she would bring the Seelie into destruction. Should she really let her get a pet...?
Would Alice mind?
She finally drew herself up and huffed. "Alright, how about you don't blow anything up for a week- and then you'll be able to get the Seelie," she decided to compromise. "But Jeaaaaan, just this once?" She was staring up at her with little tears at the corners of her (far too big and adorable) eyes.
"Now, Klee, gaining a Seelie, and taking care of them is a very important job. Only good and mature ladies will be able to get one," she leaned down and looked Klee in the eye.
"Okaaaay... if Klee is a good girl, then she will get the whisp!" Jean smiled and gave her a pat on the head, nodding and smiling.

Ajax was staring hard at the blue blop in front of him. He could see its little white orb fading a bit before shining once again. "Big brother..?"
He slowly broke eye contact with the Seelie, looking at the doorframe to see Teucer up- far past his bedtime. "Teucer, shouldn't you be in bed?" His younger brother walked over and Ajax helped him onto the chair next to him. "Anton kicked me off.." he mumbled sleepily, pulling his hat over his head, clutching his Mr. Cyclops doll close to him.
Ajax sighed, picking up his brother and he intended to walk back into the bedroom to tuck Teucer to sleep, when the Seelie decided to fly over and let out a small yip.
Teucer was awake immediately. "WOAH- IS THAT A TOY?"
He scrambled out of Ajax's arms and stared wide-eyed at it.
Goddamnit- now he wasn't going back to sleep for hours.
(Ajax almost regretted bringing that thing back home. He couldn't resist a gift though.)
"Teucer... you can play with the 'toy' in the morning, alright?"
But alas, child wonder was not so easily deterred. "But big brother- just look at it. Where are its mechanisms? How can it be so small?" he slowly trailed off with questions, his voice slowly becoming higher and louder.
It wasn't very long until Tonia and Anton were awake as well, staring at the Seelie with the same child-like wonder.
Despite being older than Teucer and hopefully woke enough to get back to bed.
"I'll tell you guys all about Mr. Blob when you all wake up in the morning, properly," Ajax concluded, trying to herd his siblings back into their room. "But big brother, what if Mr. Blob isn't there when we wake up?"
"Well, Mr. Blob won't want to disappoint you all. Besides, it's not like he can get very far with that little body of his."
Teucer finally calmed down and let himself be lead into the other room with Tonia and Anton, Ajax swatting at the cursed Seelie from getting into the room.
"Alright, good night," he closed the door softly and walked away from the room. A small chorus of 'nights' rang out from the bed and the door closed with a soft thump.
Ajax nearly hurled that damned blob out the window- sheer cold be damned.

Qiqi looked up at Mr. Zhongli, who seemed fascinated over the golden Seelie on his head. "Mr... Zhongli?" He looked down at her, making a questioning hum.
"What.. are those?" She pointed at the Seelie on his head.
"Ah, these are Seelies. They have been tamed from the wild Seelies that guide travelers to treasure. It is rumored that they may have many other properties besides simply being pets. Such as being sensitive to treasure or finding certain people.."
He slowly trailed off, watching the Seelie fly off his head and flying over Qiqi's head. "My apologies," he said, Qiqi looking at the Seelie with mild interest. "Mr. Zhongli, did you... buy a different one..?"
"Qiqi, do you remember that?"
Qiqi blinked slowly, noticing that indeed, she did. "I... remembered...?" She said in her monotone voice, looking at her notebook briefly.
(She could vaguely feel bewildered and a bit afraid, at how she could remember the tall redhead and Mr. Zhongli talking. A blue blob flying around the tall red hair.
The memory was almost in a haze- but she could remember it. How bewildered she was...)
Zhongli coughed lightly, smiling at her. "Well, I did purchase a different one," he said, walking back towards Bubu Pharmacy. "I would... like one," she whispered, looking at an ice-blue one.
Just like her vision.. she vaguely thought.
"Which color?" She slowly pointed at the light blue one. "That one."
The Seelie had found its way under her hat and felt cold. She liked the cold. The Seelie wasn't moving around much, but it offered cold comfort and companionship. As Mr. Zhongli walked out of the proximity, the memory slowly faded.
The tall redhead and his blue Seelie slowly faded from her memory and so did Mr. Zhongli.
She wanted the memory back. "Qiqi, did you check your notebook today?" She nodded at Baizhu, walking behind reception.
Qiqi couldn't remember what she wanted. But the cold presence on her head seemed to remind her of something.

Klee jumped in joy, giggling at Jean's heels. "Klees going to get a new friend!" She grinned widely and was handed the red whisp. "YAY!" she grabbed at it and ran away with her prize.
"KLEEEE!"
She jumped with joy, passing Timmie on her way out of Monstat. She let out the red whisp, seeing it just as hyper as herself. She jumped up and ran around the Seelie. They might have accidentally disturbed a Hilichurl camp.
"Now lookie here Ms. Jumpty. I can make these Jumpty Dumpties! They look just like you," she said, showing her new friend a Jumpty Dumpty. "And then they go BOOM!" She announced, throwing it at the Hilichurl.
The Seelie flew around in a spin, making joyful noises. "And then they can make smaller ones that go boom!:" she threw a larger one that bounced and then exploded with little balls with leaves (?) on the top of thems.

Timmie threw some feed at the birds. Stupid traveler with his stupid floating friend.
How dare they scare away the birds- and they killed the ducks in the lake!
How could they?!
He smiled at the birds who pecked at the ground for food.
"BURN!"
In a few seconds, all the pigeons collapsed into smoke.
The traveler walked over and picked up the remains of their legs and then walked right into town.
Timmie had enough of his bullshit.
