Sukuna find the human that intruded his territory weird.
First, he wasn't scared when he saw him.
Sure, the human was a little unnerved when he saw him and was a little bit nervous when Sukuna had coil his tail around him, but that was it.
He wasn't even scared when Sukuna had told him he'll make him as his dinner, nor when Sukuna wrap his claw around his neck and threatened to snap it if he doesn't shut his smart mouth.
Those things irked him more than the fact that the human actually trespassed in his territory. And Sukuna wanted nothing more than swallowing this human alive more often than not.
Especially at this moment.
"Hey, where are you going?"
The end of his tail irritatedly flicked on the ground the second the human's voice reach his ears. Pursing his lips, he willed himself to crawl faster, hoping that he'll manage to outpace the human and ditch him in the middle of the forest.
He know he didn't succeeded when he can still hear a pair of footsteps hurried its pace.
"Hey, can you hear me? Where are you going?"
Taking an abrupt turn, Sukuna bare his fangs in front of the human's face.
He hissed in anger.
"Stop following me, human."
"But if i do that, i'll get lost in the woods. And for your information, my name is Yuuji, not human." The human said, without flinching from Sukuna's aggressiveness.
"Then get lost. I don't care. I'd rather not see your face around me and deal with your mortal ass."
A flicker of pain flashes through the human- Yuuji's eyes, and Sukuna thought that this time, the human know better not to follow him. He was about to leave when the human held one of his claw.
When he looks at him, the human was holding something- its a red flower- where did he even get that? Yuuji was shyly look up at him as he gently place the said flower on his palm- before letting his claw go.
"I just want to give you this before you leave. I saw this flower while i was trailing after you earlier... and i thought that it reminded me of your scales." the human trails off, looking to the side as his face reddens.
Sukuna carefully schooled his face to hide his surprise. 'Is this brat complimenting me?'
When Yuuji looks at him once again, his expression was sincere. "Your scales have the same shade as this flowerㅡ its really pretty."
When Sukuna didn't said anything or blink as he stare at him, the human started to fidget in his place. Yuuji began to wring his hands the longer Sukuna doesn't say anything, and Sukuna watched with growing amusement as Yuuji began fumbling with his words.
"L-look, if i offended you, i'm sorry. I promise i won't talk about it ever agaiㅡ"
Before he could finish his sentence, Sukuna interrupted him, his voice laced with amusement.
"Do you know that complimenting a naga's tail and giving them a gift while doing so means you're asking their hand in marriage?"
"Iㅡ wait what?" Yuuji, stops on his ramble. His eyes are wide as he looks at him, and Sukuna took this opportunity to slither closer to him until their nose is brushing.
"You complimented my tail and gave me a flower as a gift. Do you know what that means, Yuuji?" Sukuna's lips curl into a smirk as he watches the human's face turn redder.
Bringing a claw hand near the human's face, he softly brush his a clawed finger on his cheek, red eyes glinting as he watched the human gulped nervously.
"I'm Sukuna, the King of this land. Be happy, human. As i accept your proposal."
