Alisa: Welcome one and all to the Love Live! Queen For Another Day Tournament Pre-show! I’m Alisa Ayase!
Haruka: I’m Haruka Konoe!
Yukiho: And I’m Yukiho Kousaka! Throughout this tournament, the three of us will be working together to interview all 32 of the contestants!
Haruka: All of us will ask our own questions to the contestants, but we also have our own jobs that we’ll do right here in the interview room. For example, I get to act as the security guard, chasing out anyone who isn’t supposed to be here!
Alisa: And I’m the one that mans the cameras! For some reason, I know everything there is to know about these things now! Did you know photography dates all the way back to the 1700’s?
*Silence.*
Alisa: Just me?
*Alisa puffs up her face as Haruka and Yukiho let out awkward chuckles.*
Yukiho: Anyway, we’d like to remind you that the fates of the contestants are in your hands. You’ll be voting for them based on the music that they release.
Haruka: However, remember that you should only base your vote on the music! Try not to let personal bias get in the way of your voting. No voting for someone just because they’re your “best girl”!
Alisa: If you vote responsibly, there won’t be any problems! Hehe. What does “best girl” even mean, though?
Yukiho: I thought that was a fairly obvious term. It just refers to who your favorite girl is.
Alisa: So it’s like a fancy-but-actually-not term, right?
Yukiho: ...Sure.
Haruka: Moving on, we’d like to give a small bit of info about where we are. This is being filmed in a studio that’s flanked by a hotel. That’s where the contestants will stay for the duration of the tourney! There’s also a giant city all around us with all sorts of things to do, so the contestants can do whatever they want! Of course, as long as nobody gets hurt.
Alisa: I hear that even we’ll be able to have some fun when we’re not interviewing the contestants!
Haruka: Ooooh, this is so exciting! I’m so excited for this tourney to start! It almost feels like Christmas Eve.
Yukiho: You’ve got that right! We’ll be starting very soon!
Alisa: They should be arriving now!
Haruka: I think it’s time we end our cast here. We’ve gotta go say hi!
Alisa: You got it! Yukiho-chan, sign us off, please!
Yukiho: We’ll be back with the first interview as soon as our first contestants get settled in! Join us back here tomorrow for the beginning of the real interviews!
