Reunion
Yashiro opened her eyes and instantly closed them again when the surrounding light blinded her. She tried to open them again and blinked a few times to get used to the light. Once her eyes wouldn’t get blinded by the light anymore she looked at her left and right side.
Where are Kou-Kun and Mitsuba-Kun? They were with me just a moment ago.
“Yashiro?” a familiar voice called surprised.
She quickly turned around and saw the person she’s been searching for, for weeks, standing a few feet away from her.
“Hanako-Kun?” she asked before she crossed the space between them with determination on her face.
“Hanako-Kun … “ she raised her right hand “ … you idiot!” and slapped his face with it.
The smile that was caused by seeing her again and that he wore up until now, was now replaced with a shocked look. Slowly he raised his left hand to touch his left cheek, which Yashiro slapped a moment ago.
And just as suddenly as the slap came, Yashiro wrapped her arms around him. She turned her face so that Hanako wouldn’t see her face.
“Yashiro?” he whispered confused while trying to look at her.
“I missed you. Don’t do that ever again!” she whispered while slightly raising her voice at the last phrase.
“I … “ Hanako said speechless before he slowly wrapped his arms around her to hug her back and let out a long breath.
