Summary:

Midari has very beautiful pale purple lips. Ririka can’t help but stare.

Notes:

Back at it again for another year! I'll be uploading fics weekly this year, so expect some larger batches of 5-7 fics at a time. If you're interested, feel free to stick around for the series!

This was written as part of Femslash Feb! The couple was a request from Tumblr!

Prompt: Day 7 - Lips

Work Text:

Midari had very beautiful lips. It wasn’t the type of thing Ririka usually paid attention to, but in their endless student council meetings, Midari always caught her eye with her pale purple lips. They were so cleverly accentuated with makeup that it made them almost spellbinding. There was a reason Midari was the head of the Fashion Committee after all. There was just something… different about her. Something incredibly lush. And Ririka couldn’t help but stare.

Not that Midari would ever know. Ririka never took off her mask, not even in student council meetings. Kirari had mandated it, to conceal some of the mystery of them being related, and Ririka had to agree. She didn’t want the prestige of being the twin of the great Kirari. It was a lot of pressure, and Ririka was very nervous about having all of that attention. She felt much more confident behind the mask. She was able to talk more, without the fear of judgement and constant comparisons.

She knew that Midari loved Kirari. It was clear from the way that Midari’s eyes feasted on her during their meetings. Ririka knew that Midari would love nothing more than to be devoured completely by Kirari’s harshness. She couldn’t hope to provide that herself. She was timid, and small. Nothing like what Midari would want.

Still, that wouldn’t stop her from gazing at Midari. Imaging her thin lips against her own. It was nothing but a pipe dream, but still… it was a dream worth having.
