"So good~" Tanjiro said happily as he took another piece of chocolate and put it in his mouth.
"I'm glad." Kanao smiled, looking fondly at him eating the chocolates she made.
"Thank you, Kanao, it's delicious!" Tanjiro smiled at her before taking another piece of chocolate. "Do you want one?"
"Eh? B-but I made them for you." She answered a bit flustered.
"And I want to share them with you." He replied. "Do you not want one?"
"It's not that I don't want them but… it would feel like I'm taking one of your chocolates."
"I see…" The Kamado frowned a bit. "Ah, I know!"
"Hm?"
"Can you close your eyes for me, please?" Tanjiro asked.
Kanao looked puzzled for a moment before nodding and doing that.
"You're not even going to ask why?" She could hear the chuckle in his voice.
"No need." Kanao shook her head with a smile, her eyes still closed. "I trust you."
Tanjiro's smile softened.
"Thank you… ok, open your mouth please."
'…is he going to feed me the chocolate?' Kanao tilted her head but complied. 'Ah… I should have offered to do that.' The thought brought a light blush to her face.
"Ok, now close it, slowly, and stop when you feel something."
She did as told, feeling the texture of chocolate on her lips and about what must be half of a chocolate inside her mouth.
Before she could bite it, Tanjiro gently posed a hand on her cheek and posed his lips on hers.
Kanao yelped and her eyes shot open in surprise as Tanjiro continued the kiss, half of the chocolate in his mouth, as he deepened the kiss, the chocolate melting between them.
Around a minute later, Tanjiro pulled back, licking his lips to taste the remaining chocolate.
"It tastes even better like this." He said happily.
Kanao was looking at the ground to hide her blush.
"Ah… I'm sorry, was it too much?" Tanjiro asked with a concerned look.
"Hmm…" Kanao mumbled before raising a finger, shyly glancing upwards at him. "…one more time?"
Tanjiro's eyes widened for a moment before he grabbed another piece of chocolate.
"Kanao." He leaned close to her ear. "I don't think I'll be able to stop myself at just one more."
"…it's a good thing I made a lot of chocolate, then."
He agreed wholeheartedly.
