Chapter 1: 24 / 12 / 1946 - Our Early Christmas Miracle
Chapter Text
24 December 1946
Just after finishing dinner with the whole family. Caesar has gone into labor, they have been expecting for the baby to come out around early January but for it to come now was a bit of a shock. They haven’t been preparing at all to busy planning their big Christmas dinner.
New York was always popular for their traffic let alone on Christmas Eve, when every New Yorker seems to have just remembered tomorrow was Christmas day and rushed to stores to buy last minute gifts. The streets were packed not even the Speedwagon foundation ambulance can get through.
It was highly likely they were going to have the baby at home, if it wasn’t for Caesar screaming bloody hell to at least have a doctor by her side. Erina seems a bit offended, which Caesar notice and tried to offer a small apology before another contraction hit.
In a panicked state Joseph carefully picked up his wife, ignoring shouts of protest from others and starts running heading towards the ambulance that was halfway to their apartment. When Caesar again complained and wanted to have the baby on the hospital.
“the nearest hospital is still 10 miles away even with hamon I don’t know I can run that long” well maybe I can without the extra weight, was said at heart. Joseph has done a lot of things but insulting the woman who is carrying your child is not one of them.
“the SUBWAY is there for a reason, you idiota!”
There was shockingly many obstacles and incidents coming their way, but long story short they finally arrived at the hospital in one piece both physically and mentally.
Joseph didn’t wait long at the waiting room. The delivery was done quickly without any complication. The nurse walked out of the room and heads towards Joseph to bring the good news about the state of his wife and new born daughter.
The sight that greeted him brings tears to his eyes.
Caesar was laying on the bed holding their daughter looking thoroughly exhausted, yet she still has a glow around her that’s says otherwise.
“are you just going to stand there looking like a statue or do you want to properly meet our daughter” Caesar said finally lifting up her gaze from her baby towards her husband.
“sorry I just–“ taking a deep breath “got caught in the moment”
He finally got a hold of his feet and made way towards the love of his life.
“well I can’t argue, she does take your breath away” gently entrust the little baby to Joseph’s arms. Feeling the slight shift the baby opened her bright innocent eyes.
“she has your eyes” joseph said fondly as he strokes his daughter’s cheeks making her giggle.
“and she has your laugh”
They both lay there cooing and basking in their daughters laughter.
The peaceful moment went by when the nurse came in to check up on them.
“have you decided on her name, Mr. and Mrs. Joestar?”
They were to caught up on the moment to discuss their daughters name, granted they didn’t really talk about it much but when they do it ends up as a second discussion ending in “that’s a good name” and left it at that. They didn’t even made a list.
They awkwardly laugh and told the nurse to come later.
“I already feel like a bad parent”
Joseph gives a reassuring kiss on her head “don’t say that, it’s just because we’ve been really busy with work” before Caesar could retaliate for putting work before their child, Joseph reassures her by saying “I know what you’re going to say and instead of arguing lets focus on naming our lovely early Christmas miracle”
“Si, you’re right”
A few minutes pass by and they have come up a couple of names and have narrowed it down to what they both liked. Before they could make it official the whole family finally arrives.
“Oh my what a beautiful baby” Erina for a woman her age was really agile making her way to see her great-granddaughter. Everyone getting exited gushing on the new born except for Lisa lisa that was still standing by the door looking perplexed.
“Come on lis- I mean mom…god it still seems weird to call her that”
Lisa lisa smiles as she approached her son and giving him a hug “I don’t make the same mistakes as me” hugging her back “I wouldn’t dream of it”
“So what’s this little darling’s name?” Speedwagon asked
“Well….” Joseph and Caesar shares a loving look, deciding who’s going to speak on their behalf. Joseph first breaks the eye contact “Since tomorrow is Christmas and this baby is our precious gift we decided to name her Holly and for her middle name we go with the Zeppeli tradition of naming it after the grandfather, so it’s Mario or Maria”
“It’s mostly Jojo’s idea, it’s really surprising how thoughtful he can be sometimes”
“Hey! I’m always thoughtful” Joseph pouted that earned laughter from the others.
Because it’s already late everyone left. Smokey still stuck around keeping Caesar company while Joseph escort the others out.
“Do you realize the true intention of Jojo naming her Holly?” smoke says looking a little bit sheepesh
“what do you mean?”
“well you know how Jojo likes jokes and yes the meaning of the name is thoughtful but then again the wording of it is a lil…..”
Caesar’s confused face didn’t let up
“Holly Maria Joestar”
The.
“Holly Maria”
Gears.
“Holy Mary”
Are.
“HOLY MARY!? JOSEPH!!! YOU NAMED OUR DAUGHTERS THAT TO MAKE A PUN!!?”
Turning.

Chapter 3: XX/12/1965
Summary:
Shenanigans in the Joestar Family
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
The Joestar family has a whole tradition when it came to Christmas, they would all fly back to England to celebrate it on the huge family mansion for a few days.
The mansion is mostly used for event and wedding venues when it’s not occupied.
They really just stay there for Christmas and nothing more.
Mama said the place was too big for them and papa hates it cause it’s not as lively as living in New York.
Hannah was looking through the Christmas decoration to help make the mansion more festive, when she found their Christmas stocking.
She hung it by the fire place and realized the initials.
“If mama’s name starts with a K, our family initials would be JK HAHA” Hannah said this out loud for everyone to hear.
Papa gave a cackle of laughter “love, maybe you should change yo-“ a bulb hit his face.
“finish that sentence and I will leave you”
Small giggles left their children.
Watching their parents bicker is normal, not a day goes by without them arguing. Ironically it’s how they show their love for one another.
“aww you know you can never leave this handsome face”
Papa pulled mama into a kiss, who kissed back with a giggle.
Sound of ew’s and retching was made by their children.
Notes:
I named them that just to make this joke, sorry not sorry ;)

Chapter Text
They did it.
They finally defeated the Pillar Men.
After so many hardships they went through with the training, losing Loggins and almost losing Suzi, not to mention the whole train wreck in Switzerland. By some miracle, they are alive.
Who would have thought a human could survive a fall from the mesosphere with only several non-fatal injuries (does losing an arm count as fatal?). Even with Hamon, it’s downright impossible for someone to survive such a fall.
The doctors said it was pure luck, and lucky they were to finally put an end to the Pillar Men, or with wit, as Joseph likes to boast.
And here they are now, standing after a three-month coma and several months of recovering from their injuries.
In the middle of the rain, in front of their "graves," surrounded by shocked faces of their friends and families.
"Jojo! Cece! You're both still recovering; you shouldn't stand in the rain!" called Suzi as she rushed towards them with umbrellas in hand.
"Seriously, how can both of you be so energetic even when injured?"
The silence was filled with cries of disbelief from people around. Suzi, clueless as ever, just stood there, confusion on her face as she looked towards Caesar and Jojo, both of whom stared blankly ahead. Following their gaze, she finally realized her mistake and started to back away slowly, only to flinch when she heard a mechanical sound.
"Suuuzzziiiii," the mechanical sound intensifies as Jojo steadily turns back towards the fleeing young woman. "Did you forget to send the telegram!?"
Without answering, the woman started to sprint away from the scene, chased by a very angry 6'4 ft tall man.
"Caaaeesaaarrrrr, mi aiuti per favore!!!!"
The other blond woman who was also presumed dead just looked on and sighed. "Mamma mia."
After the whole fiasco was over, all of them returned to Jojo and Erina’s home to continue their heartwarming reunion.
Jojo was sitting beside Erina, who was holding his hand tightly, afraid that if she let him go, he would vanish away. He was boisterously recalling the events that went down, giving a far more dramatized version of it. Caesar wanted to interject all of it but decided against it, to give him the spotlight and attention that he needed.
God knows how much that man loved to talk others' ears off. Take it from Caesar, who had to spend all her bedridden days beside Jojo; the man never stopped talking. Even when it was night time and Caesar just wanted to rest, he would ask her mundane questions or just talk about his own childhood if she didn't give him responses.
It was annoying at first, but slowly she realized how lonely he was, growing up alone without parents or siblings, only his grandma and occasionally Speedwagon to keep him company. He never truly had a 'friend'; anyone who he thought was his friend was only there for his money and liked to bad-mouth the people he cared about.
Caesar knows the feeling all too well; her relatives had always appeared kind and caring, but the moment her father vanished, leaving them in the care of said relatives, their true colors emerged like dark shadows. The once-friendly faces turned hostile, as they began to abuse Caesar and her siblings, deeming them nothing but a troublesome burden they couldn't wait to be rid of. After a deeply traumatic event, without any choices left, Caesar made the decision to flee with her younger siblings, and face the challenges of the harsh streets of Rome. In this harsh urban landscape, it was a dog-eat-dog world where trust was a luxury they couldn't afford, leading Caesar to maintain a cautious distance from anyone offering help, determined never to place her faith in another person ever again. That is before she met Lisa-lisa and Jojo.
In the end, during their recovery Jojo and Caesar found solace in one another's company, ultimately opening up about their deepest insecurities and revealing long-concealed secrets, strengthening the bond that had formed between them.
Caesar tuned out and slipped away slowly; no one noticed as she stepped outside the balcony. A soft hand clutching the railing as she took out her cigarette. With a deep inhale, she looked up at the starless sky.
Caesar leaned against balcony railing, lost in thought, her cigarette glowing softly in the darkness, the cool evening breeze carrying the distant sound of jazz music from a nearby speakeasy. The faint hum of city life enveloped her as she stood high above the bustling streets of New York. Just as the ember burned brightest, soft footsteps can be heard
“I was wondering where you were” Lisa joined her
“Sorry, I just need some air” Caesar says as she inhales her smoke before letting a big sigh.
“Gotten tired of Jojo already I see” Lisa teased with a knowing look
“Wha- no I just” Caesar looks bashful as she tries to collect herself letting out another sigh.
“I was just wondering, seeing Jojo in there surrounded by his family makes me think of my own and…” Caesar didn’t finish her sentence as she just looks out contemplated.
A hand softly rests on her shoulder as Lisa looks concerned.
“You did what needed to be done”
“You don’t understand how these feels, I abandoned them just like my mother’s family did, just like my father” A tear began to form in her eye, and the overwhelming emotions that had welled up inside her became too much to bear.
Lisa silently wrapped her arms around Caesar, holding her close, as the tears fell like rain. She whispered soothing words into her ear, offering a warm and comforting embrace, a safe harbor in the storm of Caesar’s emotions.
“You found yourself thrust into the roles of both mother and father when you were just 8 and 10 years old, a heavy burden that no child should ever bear. You made the difficult but ultimately right decision to place them in the cares of the orphanage who would provide the care and support they deserved than letting them come to harm’s way of those hellish creatures”
Caesar’s cries had now subsided, fading into the background as Lisa's comforting words and warm embrace enveloped her, gently soothing her distress and filling a sense of solace.
“Now that everything has ended, I think it’s best to see them again”
“I don’t know if I could face them, the last time I saw them, I said somethings that was hurtful”
The silence settled once more, only to be abruptly shattered as the balcony door burst open, revealing Jojo, whose infectious laughter flooded the room, dispelling the quietude that had enveloped them.
“There you are! I’ve been looking for you Caesarino!”
Witnessing his entrance, Caesar hurriedly concealed her face, erasing all traces of lingering tears before she turned to confront the man at the door. With a teasing grin of her own, replied.
“Missed me already, piccolo?”
Lisa could only stand there, quietly observing her son and the girl whom she already regarded as her own daughter interact. Her eyes held a knowing look, recognizing the deep connection and affection they had for one another. It was becoming increasingly evident that it was just a matter of time before the girl would truly and wholeheartedly become a cherished part of their family.
