Prank Text Gone Wrong... or Right?

Summary:

After losing a drinking game, Rean was forced to prank text his best friend-- Fie.

Notes:

It started as a TikTok meme drabble that now became a full-on fic.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

“C’mon, Rean! Go through your contacts already.”

“Alright, alright! Geez...”

It was supposed to be a normal night of drinking with the guys from Class VII after a long day of classes. Rean did not expect that it would turn into a drinking game where the loser has to prank text a random person in their contacts. To make matters worse for the Schwarzer, Crow made it so that they had to prank a girl.

Obviously, Rean didn’t want to lose in this game. He already has too many girl problems because of multiple misunderstandings. From Alisa falling on top of him and burying his face with her chest during the entrance ceremony; to accidentally touching Laura and Emma during PE.

The only girl that he didn’t cause a misunderstanding with; was his best friend— Fie Claussell.

But maybe tonight was the night that a misunderstanding would be born.

“I have to ask, though, Rean. How come you were the first one out? Usually, I’m the first one to back out when it comes to drinking; I’m still a lightweight.” It was true, Elliot was not a frequent drinker; unlike the rest of the guys, he prefers to drink sodas or juice, but he will have a drink if he is invited to such occasions.

“I agree with Elliot. It’s not like you to back out on the second drink.” Jusis agreed. Due to his status as the young CEO of Albarea Inc., he was forced to join in drinking parties and help fix relations with their business partners when he took the position after his father was arrested due to hiding drugs in the company two years ago. “If anything, I thought you would last longer than this bumbling buffoon.”

“Shut up! I’ll have you know I can hold my liquor just as much as all of you!” Machias slammed both his hands on the table, wobbling the bottles of beer in the process. “Besides, you are not the only one who has to go to drinking parties...” He sighed.

“I take it you had to accompany Governor Regnitz to several social drinking events during our last semester break?”

“Yeah. It’s just been exhausting overall, and finding someone my age in one is like looking for a needle in a haystack.” Machias massaged his temple. “And most of the young adults there were like drinking machines; I had no choice if I didn’t want to make a fool of myself or embarrass Dad.”

The Albarea nodded slightly, sympathizing with the feeling. Back when he was not aware of his father’s crimes, he remembered how he needed to act with grace and dignity whenever he accompanied his father when he was a child.

“I suggest we order a glass of water to cleanse our palette,” Gaius suggested. “We are not like Instructor Sara, after all.”

“Excuse you! I can keep with ol’ Sara any day of the week.” The enabler of the drinking game countered as he downed a mug of beer. “Anyways, you still haven’t answered Elliot’s question. Usually, you could drink at least five mugs of booze.”

“It’s all Instructor Thomas’s fault...”

A few hours ago, Thomas asked if Rean could help out by giving everyone in their History Class the notes he prepared for the quiz next week. Always ready to lend a hand, Rean accepted. After giving everyone the notes, the history instructor wanted to reward Rean; the black-haired man never thought he would be rewarded with a drink.

And the fact that he knows that Instructor Thomas was incredibly difficult when he is drunk; only made it harder for him to refuse the beer that was being eagerly offered to him.

Because of that, Rean drank almost seven mugs of alcohol.

“W-wow... I never thought you would actually drink that much.” The music student scratched his cheek nervously.

“Well, that explains it. Rean shouldn’t do the penalty—“

“No way!” Crow interrupted Machias. “He should have said something about already drinking that much. It’s his fault that he didn’t say anything.” Rean couldn’t deny that; he really should have spoken up before agreeing to the game.

“Whatever. I’ll just get this over with...”

“Finally, we can get to the good stuff. Hey, Martha! Another round of drinks on me~” The slacker raised his glass as the others were about to protest, only to fail when Martha brought their drinks to the table.

“You have got to be kidding me...” The blonde pinched the bridge of his nose. “Can you please get all of us a glass of water too?”

The waitress nodded as she headed to the kitchen to get them their water.

“Alright! While we wait for the water, you can start going through your contacts~” Crow said, completely flushed from the beer. “Don’t forget, you are only allowed to prank text a girl.”

“Can I at least exclude my mom and Elise?

“Hmm.” Despite his slowly creeping drunkenness, he pondered. “Fine, I rather not get scolded by Aunt Lucia and Elise for doing this prank.”

Remembering the times, he and Rean (getting dragged) got into trouble because of his pranks back when they were kids. He still got shivers whenever he tries to remember those memories of scolding. And how Elise would give both of them the cold shoulders, now that was terrifying.

Without much of a choice, he excluded his mother and sister before randomly scrolling through his contacts. Whether it was lucky or not, the only other girls in his contacts were from his class, minus Sara. With only five girls on his contacts, he can probably get away with a simple explanation; and maybe at least a slap from Alisa if fate so happens to choose her.

Scrolling through his contacts one last time, he closed his eyes and counted to five in his mind.

One

Two

Three

Four

Five

He opened his eyes, his fuchsia orbs locked into the selected contact.

Fie Claussell

He gulped. His brain was sending him signals to not do it, or he will forever be treated like a jerk.

“Uh, Crow? Can I please scroll again?” He hoped he would say yes.

Crow took a peek at Rean’s phone; a smirk crossed him as he grabbed the device from his friend’s grasp. “Nu uh uh, Reanie~” He cooed, swinging the black-haired teen’s phone around as if it was a toy. “The Goddess chose little Fie, and now you have to text her~.”

And he knew he was hoping too much.

“I really don’t want to prank text Fie, Crow. It’ll make things worse between us.”

“C’mon, man! Don’t be such a pussy.” The slacker pointed lazily at him. “You should be happy it’s *hic* Fie. I bet out of all of the girls, she and Millium would be the most understanding and won’t cause a big scene about this little prank.”

As Rean was about to retort, Gaius chimed in.

“I agree with Crow on this one, Rean.”

“Really, Gaius? You too?” He didn’t expect that the kind Nord would agree to the slacker’s stupid idea: to continue prank texting Fie.

“I see no harm in this. Like what Crow said, Fie is more understanding than the others, and I can already imagine Millium would just play along with this whole charade.” Jusis opined as he drank a bit more beer. “Unless the universe is out to get you, I don’t think you have to worry about a major consequence that will happen after you pranked her.”

Machias pushed his glasses back and nodded, “Heh, I agree with Albarea. You’ve seen Fie before, Rean. She is pretty laid-back, and remember how she and Crow pranked you before?”

“Oh yeah! I still can’t believe they found four chickens.” Elliot mused with a chuckle.

The prank that Fie and Crow did on the young man was more or less an accident. If you can even call it that. The white-haired duo planned to make the chickens poop out their eggs on top of him when he entered the science classroom. But the chickens somehow flew down the small basket they were in and attacked Rean. They did admit to laughing at the attacked male when they checked to see what happened.

The black-haired man groaned and sighed. “I don’t understand how the two of you get along so well.”

“What can I say? I’m popular and awesome.” He winked before getting back into the matter at hand. “Enough stalling, time for some pranking.”

“I don’t know why we’re friends sometimes...” Rean facepalmed; he really wondered why.

“Aw, how sweet~.” Without taking that as offensive, he gave back his phone.

As he took his phone back, he tapped Fie’s name in his phone to bring up their convo. His fingers hovered in the screen for a bit before he turned to look at the others.

“What should I say first? I don’t think it is a good idea to start with that.”

“Whatever floats your boat. So long as you prank text her, I couldn’t care less if you wanted to say, ‘Baby, I wanna fuck you tonight’.”

Machias spat his drink.

Elliot spat his drink.

Jusis choked in his drink.

And Gaius sweatdropped at his remark.

“Should you really be saying that here?!” Machias slammed his hand on the table, red dyed his cheeks.

“Meh.” The offender shrugged. “What? I do it all the time with Towa.”

The Albarea placed a hand on his temple, rubbing the area as a headache formed. “Honestly, you have no tact when you are drunk.”

“Just text her the way you always text her, Rean.” The music student suggested with a blush.

The waitress arrived with a tray of their water. The five that were still sober thanked her internally at the save, and Rean wanted so much to splash the drunken fool with some cold water. If it were only the two of them, he might have done just that. Crow better thank his lucky stars that the others were here, or he would have gotten wet.

“All right then. Here I go...”

“Oh shit, he’s gonna get laid after this.” Another blunt remark from the drunkard himself.

“CROW!”

All four of the guys, minus Gaius, yelled at the moron. Only for said moron to take another gulp of his beer.

‘The sooner I finish this, the better.’

Rean Schwarzer: Good evening, Fie

(Online)

-Fie Claussell-

Fie Claussell started typing...

Fie Claussell: evening Rean

Fie Claussell: did you need something?

The black-haired man gulped as he began typing.

Rean Schwarzer: Yeah, I do

A sweatdropped formed around his forehead, he did not want to do this stupid prank, but he knows Crow won’t let him get away that easily.

Rean Schwarzer: Fie darling, you’re my best friend

Fie Claussell: darling...? youre my best friend too, Rean

Rean Schwarzer: But there’s a few things that you don’t know of

Fie Claussell: like what?

Rean Schwarzer: Why I borrow your lipstick so often

Fie Claussell: probably because of Crow right?

He really wanted to say it was because of Crow that he was doing this... and he contemplated if he should send the next message. With a nudge from a snickering Crow, he relented and sent the text.

Rean Schwarzer: I’m using your shirt as a pillowcase

Fie Claussell: um... i’m confused. is it the one Sara gave me?

The grinning slacker’s face was so punchable; he wanted to give him a knuckle sandwich. The following lines of text could literally ruin his relationship with Fie. And if things would go downhill, Crow better hopes he has the money because Rean’s planning to collect his five-year debt after all this is over.

His fingers fidgeted as he began to type the next line before sending it.

Rean Schwarzer: I wanna ruin our friendship

Fie Claussell: ?!?!

Fie Claussell: Rean, im seriously confused. tell me youre joking

The budding guilt pierced his heart, even though it was just a single line of text. Rean could tell that it greatly affected Fie. He prayed to the Goddess that things won’t go any worse for him tonight after the next messages.

Rean Schwarzer: We should be lovers instead

Fie Claussell: ...what?

Rean Schwarzer: I don’t know how to say this

Fie Claussell: try to, please...

Rean never wanted to scream so bad in his life until now.

Taking a deep breath, he typed the last message he needed to send.

Rean Schwarzer: Cause you’re really my dearest friend

A minute passed, and Fie has yet to send a message or began typing.

“Pfft... wahahahaha! She just went offline!” Crow cackled, pounding the table with his gloved hand as he lost himself in amusement.

“Wait, really?” The redhead asked, genuinely surprised at the outcome.

“I... did not expect that.” Machias pushed back his glasses, bewildered at what just happened. And just like Elliot, he was just as surprised. “I never thought Fie would go offline; I was expecting her to catch on and point out that it was Crow’s doing.”

“I concur.” The blonde agreed as he crossed his arms and nodded. “We have known Fie for quite a long time now. This is a bit unlike her.”

“Well, she’s still an eighteen-year-old girl.” Gaius opined.

“What do you mean, Gaius?”

The young Nord smiled at Elliot before further explaining himself. “She one of the youngest in our class; and the entire campus. She does act more mature than most of her age; I’ve heard from Linde that she partakes in discussions about love as well.”

“That is true.” The bespectacled man agreed.

“But as far as I can remember, Fie has no experience with love or having someone like her that way.”

“So what you’re saying is,” Grabbing the glass of water from the table, Crow took a small gulp. “Fie didn’t know how to answer and went offline. Aaaand is probably hoping for Rean to forget their conversation.”

“That is a possibility, yes.”

“Oooor Fie and Rean would never be the same aga—“ At that point, Crow was greeted with a heaping fist to the face. Dramatically landing on the ground, still drunk as he spun for effect.

The others sweatdropped as they looked to Rean, who was clearly annoyed.

“Uh... Rean? Are you okay...?” Elliot hesitantly asked.

Rean walked over to the drunkard and crouched down to meet his eye level. The two stared at each other for quite a bit. No word escaped, except for the occasional hiccups from Crow.

“What are ya gonna do to me, Reanie~.“ Having enough of his bullshit, Rean slapped Crow’s face back and forth in an almost comical way. The others could only watch in awe to see their friend, their friend who they thought was very patient for the most part, was now slapping the slacker to the point it was almost funny to watch.

The black-haired man stopped his assault as he walked back to his seat. Leaving a sore-cheeked Crow on the floor, knocked out. It wasn’t just the other guys of Class VII that sweatdropped; even the waiter and bartender couldn’t help themselves from sweatdropping.

“Can I get your strongest alcohol?”

“I think you shouldn’t do that, Rean.” Machias placed his hand on his friend’s shoulder as he tried to persuade him to reconsider. “You’re already at your limit.”

“True. It would do you no good to drink such strong alcohol after having your fill earlier.” Jusis reasoned. “If you still have the desire to drink some alcohol, I suggest having—“

“I can handle it.”

Jusis blinked, almost as if he heard him wrong. “What...?”

“I need something strong to make me forget about this night.” Rean deadpanned. “Hey, master. Please put that alcohol on his tab.”

He pointed at the unconscious Crow with a deadpan expression.

“You guys should get something too.”

“I’m good,” Gaius said as he drank his glass of water. “What about you, Elliot?”

“W-well...” Not wanting to upset Rean anymore tonight, he grabbed the menu from a free table and browsed its contents. “I had enough drinks for tonight; can I ask for some food?”

Rean nodded. “We’ll just put it in Crow’s tab.”

The green-haired man leaned over to the blonde and whispered in his ear, “I somehow find Rean terrifying in this state.”

“It’s always those that rarely get upset that are terrifying when they get mad.”

“You guys aren’t order anything?” Their conversation was cut short when Rean locked his eyes on them, waiting for an answer. It somehow made their skin crawl, like a predator having caught sight of their prey, giving them a few moments to say their last words.

“I-I’ll have the onion rings!” At the moment, Machias answered. He wasn’t quite sure if they even have onion rings. He just said the first thing that came to his mind.

Jusis placed his palm on his face as he sighed. Despite keeping his cool, just like the others, he did not want to further upset Rean, so he opted to order something, telling himself that it was Crow’s fault.

“I will have the lemon drop cocktail.”

Rean told their orders to the waiter, and just like he was told, the master put it all on poor Crow’s tab.

-----

If someone came in and said, “Wow, he looks wasted as fuck.” Then they would be right. As Rean Schwarzer got completely wasted after having three straight drinks of alcohol. Drinking them in one gulp and without taking a break. His face was as red as a tomato, and his hiccups were non-stop. If it weren’t for Jusis persuading his friend to change to water, he would probably knock himself out just like the still unconscious slacker.

“Ahahaha... I think we had enough fun for tonight.” Elliot nervously chuckled as he slumped Crow on his shoulder. “We should get going before Instructor Sara interrogates us again.”

“Agreed. We also have our practicals with Instructor Makarov tomorrow afternoon; we can’t afford to miss it.” Gaius said as he assisted Elliot with carrying Crow back to the dorms.

Machias leaned over the table, lightly shaking Rean. “Let’s go, Rean. I’m sure an explanation would mend you and Fie’s relationship somehow.” He tried to brighten him up, but Rean could only groan at that. “Gah... you try talking to him.”

With a sigh, it was Jusis’s turn to cheer him up.

“We will force Crow to tell the truth if explaining it won’t work. You have my word on that, Rean.”

Rean looked up as a few hiccups manage to escape him. Banging his head with his hand, he tried to get rid of a headache slowly forming before standing up from his seat. “Fine. Let’s just go home—“

A chime sound rang like the sound people hear when they receive a message. Rean could feel the vibration coming from his pocket as he received another message. Taking it out, he immediately sobered up as his eyes widened.

-Fie Claussell-

Fie Claussell: hey Rean

Fie Claussell: sorry i didn’t respond earlier

Fie Claussell: could we talk once youre back at the dorms?

Rean released a breath he didn’t even realize he was holding; he smiled, knowing that they were still in speaking terms or texting terms in this case. Already knowing what to say, he sent his message.

Rean Schwarzer: You don’t have to apologize, Fie. And sure, we’re heading back right now

Fie Claussell started typing...

Fie Claussell: kay. i’ll be waiting for you in the lounge

Rean Schwarzer: Got it

The black-haired man returned his phone into his pocket, placing a hand in his chest as he sighed.

“Was that Fie?” Machias asked with a raised brow.

“Yeah,” Rean’s lips curled up as he nodded. “I’m glad we are still speaking terms since she wants to talk to me once we’re back.”

“That’s great, Rean!” Elliot rejoiced. “We should get going!”

“It seems our worries were unnecessary.” Jusis mused as he wore his coat. “Let us head off then.” He walked over to the exit before turning back to Rean. “Do you need some assistance?”

The blonde was talking about helping the man walk back to their dorms. Even though he looked sober, he was not quite sure if he could handle walking without any help, especially how bad he was drunk earlier.

“Yeah. There’s no shame in asking for help, Rean.” Machias shared Jusis’s sentiment towards offering assistance.

“It’s fine, guys. I’m feeling a lot better now.”

“If you are sure, then we will go on ahead.”

Elliot and Gaius exited out of the bar first since they were carrying Crow. He was a bit heavy, so they bid their farewells as soon as they made sure Rean wasn’t stumbling. Jusis and Machias soon followed and told Rean to message either of them once he was back since the black-haired man wanted to stay for a bit to clear his head.

As soon as Rean started to feel less dizzy, he left the bar as well.

-----

It took quite some time, but Rean was able to return to the dorm safely. Except for the occasional headaches and blurriness of his vision, he managed to avoid keeping himself from staying out for too long. He did stop by a store to buy a cologne so he could at least minimize the scent of booze lingering around his clothes.

Rubbing his face to keep himself sober, he took out the cologne and applied it to himself. Taking a whiff, a clean, fresh, and floral fragrance danced in his nostrils. It wasn’t too strong, but it was strong enough to hide the smell of alcohol.

He opened the doors of the dorms and entered.

The lights were out, yet the moon provided illumination to the lounge. Rean scanned the area and saw flowing silver hair; shining in the dark room. Getting up close, it was a silver-haired girl standing by an open window, gazing at the starry sky. She was wearing a lime-green nightgown that showed her slender legs; the man could only stare with his mouth slightly opened, completely mesmerized by her beauty.

She turned to look at him as she noticed his presence. Tugging a strand of her hair, her chartreuse orbs locked with his fuchsia ones. A gust of wind blew inside, making her hair sway and flow. Rean felt like he was in the presence of a fairy, so mysterious and beautiful.

“Beautiful...” He breathed with a low voice.

Realizing he blurted that out, he covered his mouth in embarrassment.

The girl smiled. “Thanks.” She walked over to the couch that was near the window and promptly sat on it, patting the seat right next to her, signaling him to come over.

He quickly made his way right next to her and took his seat. The Schwarzer was still admiring her nightwear. Usually, for the guys, they don’t really see the girls with their nightwear on during nighttime, either because they were in their rooms; or they were heading somewhere to hang out, wearing something more fitting.

So to Rean, it was a treat to see Fie wearing one.

Silence loomed over the room. Because Fie was the one who asked Rean if they could talk, he waited for her to say a word. But Fie nervously rubbed her lap with her thumb; a noticeable discomfort was present in her expression.

“What did you want to talk about?” He knew what it is about, but he couldn’t bring himself to say it first. If she wished for an explanation, he would gladly give one in full detail; he just hopes it doesn’t strain their current relationship.

“It’s about our conversation earlier,” She started, a light pink tint dusted her cheeks. “When you said you wanted to ruin our friendship, I was so confused and scared that you were serious.” She gripped her arm, her eyes glued to her lap.

“Yeah, I’m so sorry about that.” Fie shook her head, causing Rean to be confused.

“But when you said we should be lovers instead, that really took me by surprise. I... thought it was a prank that Crow got you to do.” And like what Rean normally expected, she was sharp as ever for figuring that out. He was going to fully explain the situation but stopped himself as she wasn’t finished talking. “But I couldn’t say I wasn’t happy from it.”

Rean’s eyes widen from hearing that. She was happy that he told her that they should be lovers? He didn’t understand, but it made his heart skip a beat. Fie looked up to him with dewy eyes; he wanted to wrap his arm around her so bad that it hurt.

“I can’t deny the possibility of it being a prank, but...” She trailed off as her gaze fell before looking back into his eyes. “Were you serious? When you said we should be lovers?”

If Rean was being honest, he wanted to say yes. But he doesn’t want it to be like this; he does not want to play with her feelings just because of a prank; that could damage their relationship. He knew he could never be forgiven, and he was afraid they would not be friends anymore, but she deserved the truth.

“Yeah, it was all Crow’s doing that I had to prank you.” He practically forced the truth out of him; he felt as if he was punched in the gut so hard that it made him nauseous.

“Figures.” Fie chuckled half-heartedly. It broke his heart to see the sad smile attached to her face, especially knowing he was the cause. “That’s too bad.”

“...” He clenched his fist as he stared on the ground. Waiting for her next reaction.

“I would have said yes since I have feelings for you.”

His head shot up, startling her a bit. Did she just say what he thinks she said?  “You have feelings for me too...?”

Her lime-green optics widened. “T-too...?”

“Y-yeah. I have feelings for you too, Fie.” Rean couldn’t help but smile. She loves him, just like how he loves her. It made him warm that he forgot that he was drunk earlier.

“Really...?”

His smile was as warm as ever as he embraced her. Pulling her head close to his heart, she could hear his rapid heartbeat, causing her cheeks to redden. She could feel a prick in her eye as a tear escaped from her. It wasn’t from sadness, though; it was from joy. Joy from hearing Rean say that he feels the same way. It made her happy enough to cry. She breathed in his scent; he smelled like yellow hibiscus with a hint of rose mixed in. She enjoyed his gentle scent as a smile made its way to her visage.

Fie pulled back a bit to look him in the eye. She wasn’t sure if it was because he was drinking alcohol earlier or because he was embarrassed, but an apparent blush was on his cheeks. Rean brushed off the tear on her eyes as he looked at her, a gentle smile etched in his face.

“I had feelings for you back when we first met in high school.” He confessed, remembering the times they have spent together. Taking naps, taking care of the flowers of the garden, and helping her to study. “I was scared that things might be different if I ever told you about them...”

“Rean...” She slowly cupped his cheek with her palm. “I had feelings for you back then too.”

“Even though I kept my distance in the class, you always tried to hang out with me even though I was pushing you away. If it wasn’t for you, I would have never gotten close with everyone.” She admitted. “So, thank you, Rean.”

He shook his head; his hand made its way on top of her head as he stroked her hair. “It was all because you put in the effort. Besides... I should be the one thanking you.”

“Wait, but why...?”

“It’s because of you that I never felt lonely anymore.” He remembered the times he was bullied for being adopted, with the exception of Crow, and during his high school years, he never really had any friends. He was scorned and called an unwanted child. But when he found out she was adopted too, he wanted to be by her side; to prevent others from treating her the way they treated him.

But in the end, it was Fie that stopped strangers from hurting Rean just because he was adopted. Maybe it was because of what she did for him that made Rean want to be by her side.

Fie buried her face on the man’s chest, hiding the tears slowly escaping her eyes. She never thought of the possibility of Rean returning her feelings, but he did. She thought this was all a dream, but it was real. Rean’s feelings for her were real.

“Fie.”

She looked back up to see his face, tear stains visible on his cheeks. Rean cupped her cheek and leaned closer to her. Her heart was beating a selge a minute; she could feel it pounding against her ribcage the closer he gets. Her face was dyed in red.

Rean finally closed the distance between them. His lips met hers as he felt her arms around his neck. A chilly breeze swept the room, but it didn’t seem to bother them. The warmth they gave off canceled out the cold air and was replaced with the warmth of their feelings for each other.

The petite girl could taste a hint of grape from his lips. Likely due to the alcohol he drank at the bar, she didn’t think she did not like it; on the contrary, she deepened the kiss to savor the taste, and Rean responded in kind. Soft and gentle just like Rean.

The two pulled apart, looking at each other, their faces red as tomatoes. Fie giggled, and Rean chuckled; the two were practically in sync.

“Hehe, you taste like booze.” She commented as she poked his cheek.

“O-oh. I’m sorry about that.” He rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. “I hope it didn’t uh... ruin the moment.”

Shaking her head, she pressed her lips against his. “No. I enjoyed it.”

The sudden attack caused the young man to blush even deeper. He could only manage to chuckle.

“Rean.”

“Yeah, Fie?”

A wide smile graced her lips as she asked. “So, should we be lovers instead?” Already knowing his answer, she asked with a teasing tone.

“Ahahaha. If you’re fine with having me as your lover.” He answered awkwardly which made Fie giggle.

She pulled his head to hers, meeting each other’s forehead.

“It’s more than fine.”

Rean smiled, wrapping his arms around her as she did the same. Holding each other tight, not wanting to let go and escape their embrace. They wished this beautiful starlit night would last forever.

“I love you, Fie.” He said as he stroked her beautiful hair.

She purred at his touch, relaxing her body as she leaned into him.

“I love you too, Rean.”

The two stayed in an embrace for a while, enjoying the night with each other. Despite the chilly winds that would come inside, they didn’t seem to care; their warmth was enough to make them lose track of time. With a kiss to Fie’s forehead, the two bid each other good night, promising to spend some time together tomorrow. As well as to think of a way to get payback at Crow.

As morning came, the two were officially dating.

Notes:

I will fill the FieXRean tag myself if I have to! Since I have been writing so many one-shots for both FieXRean and FieXCrow, "The Path We Wak Together" might come out pretty late, so my apologies for that. But I hope you look forward to the proceedings~
