The snow used to be something you enjoyed. Not the act of itself but the cozying up on the couch with a blanket and some hot chocolate or tea. Whichever you preferred in the moment.
It used to be a lazy day when the snow piled up outside the door, keeping you locked up away from the cold.
But now. Now it serves as your warden.
Extra warden you should say.
Izuku was already the first, the worst, and the one you wished would let you go. Even heroes get snow days if the blizzard is bad enough.
Now the cozy day turned to hell with the chain around your ankle. Muscular arms wrapped around your waist, keeping you close and somehow not close enough with how every time he shifted his hold got a little bit tighter.
"This is nice." He breathed a sigh if relief, warmth breath fanned against your neck as he nuzzled into it. "We don't get many days to cuddle like this."
You hummed, acknowledging and not trying not to acknowledge how he shifted his hips just a bit lower. You tried not to move, lest he thinks its an invitation. You didn’t even notice you were shivering till he cupped your cheek, turning your attention away from roaring fire.
“Are you cold?”
“A little.” You said, already seeing the blush on his cheeks.
He kissed you a little softer, a prequel to what was to come.
“Do you want to warm up a little? There’s something we can do that will be more fun than staring at the fire.”
The cheeky grin lit up his freckles, emerald eyes watching you. Waiting for an answer, like that stopped him before. But like you learned the times before, you never really had a choice. So you nodded, feeling him pull you closer. A hand sneaking down to your thigh, to the back of your neck and deepened the kiss.
Eyes trailing to the still falling snow, heat feeling you even as you felt colder as he pushed you down on the couch. The weather man called for sun and warmer temperatures. You could’ve laughed when you woke up in the morning to a blizzard and Izuku bringing you freshly brewed coffee.
A snow day, he said.
Another thing to keep you trapped, was unsaid.
