Chapter Text

It was a nice day. The air felt nice and the pudding he ate earlier tasted great. If only days were always like this then Chuuya would probably be the happiest person in the world.

But, that piece of shit exists.

Even the sight of him from afar makes Chuuya puke. His disgustingly yet not so noticeable fake smile to others while conversing with them is too much for him. Plus the fact that he's literally wrapped in bandages but no one seems to mind.

What's even good with him? Yeah, he is smart. He's won several awards for the university and he's also great looking, but obviously Chuuya is more handsome, and so what? He may be like a literal perfect guy who came out from a novel or something but that's all he is.

It's not that Chuuya is envious of Dazai or something. It's just that he can't stand him. Even from afar, you can tell he's faking his attitude towards the school body. Maybe he's the only one who probably notices that because they're all entranced by Dazai's... err, greatness? No! That was not the right term! Maybe aura?

Even his cousin, Ryuu, admires Dazai.

Chuya ruffled his own hair, slightly getting annoyed. It was such a nice day but by only thinking of Dazai, it was now all ruined.

He clenched his teeth between the straw and angrily drank all the milk from the tetra-pack. By consuming the milk, he felt himself relaxing. Milks are good. They have calcium which is good for bones and it also makes you grow taller.

Craving for another milk, he went on his way to the vending machine. While walking, he twirls his rat tail around his finger and whistles a certain song. On the way to the vending machine, he came across with two girls talking to each other.

"Do you think if I finally confess to Dazai-kun, will he accept me?"

Argh, why do they keep mentioning Dazai everywhere?

"He said he likes all women so I guess we all have a chance?"

What a womanizer prick.

"Really? Then I think I'll go for it this afternoon at the cherry blossom tree."

Geh, that's so clichè!

Chuuya grimaced at the conversation between the two. Seriously, that girl would just get rejected anyway. How does he know? Well, he always happen to see the exact scene at the cherry blossom each and every time someone confesses to Dazai.

It's not like he was watching, okay? Please don't get that wrong. It's just that he parks his motorbike behind the building which is across the cherry blossom tree. And every time he was about to go home, he can't help but see what's happening in front of him.

That's why right now, he's seeing the usual scenario during his afternoon. He went to get his motorbike and when he arrived, the two were starting already.

"I, uhh, Dazai-kun... The first time I saw you, It felt like you were the one I was always waiting for. So please, accept my confession!" She bowed her head and gave him a letter.

Dazai raised his hand, only to pat the girl's head. He then smiled apologetically. "It's nice to hear you feel that way for me but I must apologize. I can't accept your confession. I'm sorry."

The girl looked up to Dazai and she wiped her tears. She shook her head and bade goodbye before running away, leaving Dazai behind.

"Wow, if you include that girl... he's rejected 5 girls in a row now!" Chuuya whispered to himself, counting his fingers. He then peeked to see if Dazai was still there and when the coast is clear, he sighed. He got up to get his motorbike and finally go home.

He got on his motorbike and started the engine. He put on his helmet, securing it so it won't fall. "Tch, why do I have to always see Dazai before I go home? Argh, it's ruining my mood!" He grumbled before finally leaving the school.

Little did he know, there was someone listening to him rant. That guy grinned as he watch Chuuya leaving.

"He seems interesting, huh?"
