The sound of cameras brought Dekuriu from her stump
She had did it
She rescued Eri and took Overhaul down
The reporters were clamoring and shouting their questions
A helicopter whirled above, no doubt live streaming her victory
A sharp cry broke the air
“KAI”
A woman rushed onto the battlefield
She was wearing a coat, a nightgown, some thin home slippers and looked more like those people who flee in the middle of the night because of war
A small creature chased after her waving a pair of boots in the air
She grabbed the boots and gave him the slippers
The woman ran towards Overhaul
“Ma’am! Ma'am, it is not safe, please get away from Overhaul”
Lemillion cried
She turned around and saw her
The woman was fast, jabbing several pressure points before she could even register her body falling
“Eri, Eri-chan are you alright?”
She sighed and fumble with the cape
“I should have listened to your father the moment the heroes saw you, I am so sorry you had to see that dear”
“Mama?” She heard Eri crying and rocking back and forth
“Yes, mama. Eri you will be staying with your grandfather for a bit ok?”
“Oki mama, I tired”
“Then sleep dear, it is past your bedtime”
She succeeded in untying the knot and threw the female hero to Lemillion before bringing the child into her arms
The woman pressed several kisses into her head before reluctantly giving hethe tot to Mimic
“Mimic, your job now is to escort Eri to my father”
Mimic looked at her shocked
“But Miss, what about you?”
The woman gave him a sad smile
“My place is with my husband, in sickness and health. If he falls, so will I. If I do not get arrested then I will go by myself”
“But Miss-”
“Mimic I am strong, Eri is not. Please”
He sighed and relented
“Yes Miss”
“You are dismissed”
He bowed
“Thank you for everything Miss, Please be careful”
She nodded and Mimic carefully carried Eri to the van
He gave one last look before ordering the driver to drive away
The media was in a frenzy, now shouting questions to mysterious woman
The woman ran towards the fallen Overhaul and cradling his body
“Kai, can you hear me? Kai, Kai, Kai”
She sighed sadly, staring into the white orbs
“Alright then, take your time. I will be waiting and so will Eri-chan”
She was about to dislodge his body when a familiar green blur zoomed by
Her eyes steeled before firing a warning shot
Dekuriu skidded to a stop
“Don’t help that villain! He abuses his daughter!”
“How dare you”
The hero flashed her a confused look
“Put my husband in a vegetative state, attempt a glorified kidnapping on MY daughter, and accuse us of child abuse you hypocrite”
“Do not accuse her of being a hypocrite you villain!” Lemillion shouted
Kiyako chuckled lowly
“Pathetic, one that is ignorant and the other can’t even remember the person she abused for 10 years”
“W-what?”
Kiyako’s eyes flashed
“Do you not remember me? The girl who shared a birthday with you until I was declared quirkless? The girl you took advantage of when our parents decided I was not worth their time or even money? The time Inko punished me because you decided to scream into my ear to wake me up and as a result I pushed you?
The girl you struck with lightning and dated our childhood friend who constantly exploded my arms or sent explosions to me? Do you not remember you laughed at when your boyfriend told me to jump off a roof when I said I wanted to be a hero? Do you remember the time you catfished me for a laugh?
The time you mocked me for taking food out of the dumpster because our parents didn't give me food? Or every the time you would take away something that made me happy. I wonder if you did cry at my funeral. Probably not, YOU NEVER LOVED ME OR EVEN WANTED ME TO BE HAPPY”
By this time tears were springing down her face and she was shouting
The press were no long asking questions but murmuring amongst themselves
“D-dek-”

She exclaimed

Kiyako glared at them
“I never be those names again nor will never stoop so low to child abuse or neglect, unlike All Might, Levitate who are quirkist and neglected one of their children, Ground Zero who is quirkist and abuses those he thinks are beneath him, Endeavour who bought a f****** wife to have a child that will surpass All Might, and you, Dekuiru. I mean there are more corrupted heroes but I won’t list them all, I don’t fancy standing for 3 hours naming every corrupt hero in Japan, much less 37 hours to name the entier world”
She waved a hand dismissively
Lemillion paled
“B-but Eri-”
She turned her glare on him
“You are 5 years too late, we already saved her so get it in your thick head”
“She was runn-”
“SHE WAS PLAYING TAG”
A portal suddenly appeared and 4 hurried figures rushed out
Kiyako brightened slightly
“Mua-Nee”
“Nee-san!”
Shigaraki rushed to his sister
“I trust Eri arrived safe?”
“The evacuation went without hitch, she’s currently with Sensei”
“Any signs of trauma?”
“She’s as traumatized as a 4 year old who watched her father become a meat shield and human football for her, can get, but yea she’s dealing fine”
Kiyako gave him a watery smile
“Then I can rest assured as a mother and assume my role as a wife”
“No need, we will dig him out”
She pressed her head into his shoulder
“Dabi, Toga, get Chisaki out of the rubble”
“Yes Boss/On it!”
Kiyako sniffed
“Kai gave his life for Eri”
“Chisaki always been loyal, like a dog”
“He isn’t responding”
Shigaraki sighed and patted her back
“He’s a street brat, he’ll be fine. He probably suffered worse”
“I hope he didn't, It’ll break my heart if he was even more in pain”
Shigaraki led her to Kurogiri
“I’m taking you back to base, Chisaki will follow”
Kiyako nodded and sniffed
Kurogiri led her to the portal
She walked through and soon Dabi went in with Kai’s body
Toga turned to the cameras and smiled ferally
“Careful parents, love your kids or they’ll turn into us.”
Then she skipped into the portal along with Kurogiri
With that Japan wasn't the same again
