Mammon
Everyone at the House of Lamination was sitting together for movie night, that's how this all started. MC was curled up next to Mammon by the end of the movie, their head leaning on his shoulder. As the movie ended the brothers began to get up and Mammon finally noticed how close they actually were causing a blush to rise to his face. As soon as his brothers noticed his flustered state the teasing began. Like usual he tried to defend himself against their attacks. He wasn’t alone though MC came up behind him scolding them for their teasing. The brother quickly left but this didn’t stop mammon from noticing their smirks and murmurings about needing a human to protect him. Now he was turned towards them, his arms crossed and a frown plastered on his face.
“Oi- stop trying to protect me. I don’t need some stupid human’s help. You're always clinging to me. It’s annoying, why won’t you just leave me alone. Are ya’ dumb? Can’t you see that I’m only around because Lucifer’s making me protect ya’?” MC stood very still as his words processed… stupid… clingy… annoying… dumb… All his words floated around in their brain sinking deeper and deeper until it boiled over tears filling their eyes. Quickly they ran out of the room before their tears were able to fall. Mammon didn’t notice their crying at first being too distracted by his own thoughts. However, he did hear their quiet sobs escape from behind the door to his door. He immediately started to panic. Oh no.. what did he do? He knocked on the door and waited. Nothing but crying filled his ears. He tried again and this time he hears them mumbling to leave them alone. Deciding not to listen to them he tried to open the door but finds it locked.
“Come on, MC. Open the door,” He groaned in frustration as he bounced on the balls of his feet. He heard shuffling on the other side of the door and begins to knock again. Only stopping when they swung the door open, their arms filled with things. They stepped forward shoving the things into his arms. It takes him a moment to realize what they were. They were his thing, his clothes, his charger, his blanket, his toothbrush, and, the only thing that wasn’t his but the most painful, their Harrison Porter keychain. All the things he’s left behind in their room after the many nights he’s spent there.
“I’m clingy, right? Now you don’t have to deal with me,” Their voice sounded broken and hoarse, tears still streaming down their face. They swung the door again to close it before curling up on their bed. Mammon stopped the door from closing with his foot and dropped everything to the floor as he closed the door behind him. He rushed over to them turning his head and body so that he is face to face with them.
“Listen, MC, I didn’t mean it alright. Just forget what I said.” They responded with a glare before turning their back to him. He sighs knowing he needed to do a better job at apologizing.
“MC I’m sorry. I didn’t mean what I said. I know I was a jerk but I didn’t mean to say those things to ya’. They kind of just came out. You’re not annoying or stupid or dumb. Your kind and brave and smart. You're really important to me and I like spending time with ya’. I care about ya’ a lot. You're my human and I’m your first man. I’ll always be there for you no matter what. I sorry MC… please,” For a while they didn’t say anything.
Mammon felt like the silence filling the room was louder than anything he’s ever heard in the house. They scoot further from him. His thoughts beginning to fill with self-doubt. He knew he messed. They never insulted him. They were the one person who always defended him against his brothers and he had hurt them just like everyone else did to him. Maybe his brothers were right. He really was a scumbag. His thoughts finally paused when their hand gripped his shirt and pulled him closer. Understanding what they wanted, he kicked off his shoes climbing in beside them. He wrapped their arms around them, his fingers combing through their hair as he whispered apologies to them. Mammon stayed that way through the night until they fell asleep. He had messed up today but he won’t do that again. He would never wanted to be the reason that you felt so horrible again.
Leviathan
It was late, or rather very early. Levi and MC had been sitting for hours on end playing this new game that he had just gotten. MC had begun to nod off as they sat in his tub however Levi was wide awake in his bean bag. Falling asleep for a few seconds MC’s character fell off the platform causing them to lose the game. Their head jerking back up when they hear Levi calling to them.
“What are you doing? I was so close to winning.”
“I’m sorry I’m just really tired,” they let out a tired yawn.
“You messed my winning streak. You said you were my true friend but you fell asleep. Henry would never fall asleep when the Lord of Shadows needed him. I should have known better. Your just a dumb normie. I should have played with my online friends instead,” Levi glared at them, his words piercing their heart. They looked down in an attempt to avoid his gaze.
“I can, um, try again. I won’t fall asleep again I promised,” hearing Levi grunt in approval they reached for the remote. He started over the game playing through stages again with ease but his words continue to linger in their thoughts replaying. He told them that they let him down. That they weren’t a good Henry and that he would rather play with some people online that often teased him for his rants. As the pair continued playing his words festered causing MC’s eyes to fill with tears. The level they were on should have been easy enough but the water forming in their eyes blurred their vision. As their character died for the second time they pulled their legs up to their chest and covered their mouth with the blanket wrapped around them in an attempt to stop their cries from escaping. Levi’s head snapped towards them his tongue ready to release another lashing of cruel words.
“Are yo-” His voice was loud and annoyed but stopped when he noticed the light from the tv screen reflecting on their wet. Anxiety filled his chest as he stared at them. Feeling his stare they turned away sinking further into the blanket. He got up from his bean bag and slowly walked over to them.
“H-hey what’s wrong with you?”
“W-why do you care?” their voice was broken. MC clung to their blanket tighter sobs finally escape their mouth. “I thought I let you down, right?” Levi was stunned with the realization that he was the cause of their sadness. He began to fidget as guilt take over.
“MC, that’s not what I meant,” his face flushed as he grabbed their hand.
“I’m going to my room. You can play with someone else,” they began to stand from the tub. Levi didn’t want them to leave and alarm began to rise within him. Using his demon speed he quickly shifted into his demon form before sitting into the tub and pulling them onto his lap. Surprised they let out a small gasp. They move to speak but was cut off by Levi ranting about them.
“You are the greatest Henry there is. I’m sorry for what I said. I-I take it back, I didn’t mean it. Please forgive, I’m really really sorry. I like you more than even Ruri-chan. This is my fault for making you stay up so late. P-please don’t leave I know that I’m a yucky okatu but we are true friends. I-” MC cuts him off by turning and hugging him tightly. Levi’s tail wrapped around their body, their face hiding in between his shoulder and head.
“H-how can I make it up to you?” his face held a deep blush.
“Can we watch my favorite anime again?”
“Your favorite?” he groaned a frown planted on his face. “You always gush about the main character.”
“Please, Levi,” they pulled away giving him a pout. After a few seconds, he reached for the tv remote as began to turn on the anime that made his envy skyrocket. Ignoring this part of him, he snuggled close to them. He constantly put himself but MC didn’t deserve to be treated the same way and he refused to do it again.
“You’re my only player two, MC”
